Last night, leading lads and ladies took to the red carpet at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles to celebrate the 25th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.

It's one of the most highly-anticipated events of the year, and while we're delighted to see so many deserving winners be celebrated for their incredible achievements, there's another big question on our minds question on our minds – what's everyone wearing?

Red carpet style can sometimes be too safe – but everyone was out to impress at the SAGAs.

Laverne Cox

Laverne was dressed to kill at last night's ceremony, and presented and award looking absolutely beautiful.

The actress opted for a stunning, flowing red gown with delicate caped sleeves, complete with a subtle train.

The dress featured a subtle textured polka-dot pattern and had a statement back, with draped strands of diamonds accenting Cox's exposed back.

Emma Stone

Emma Stone eschewed the traditional red carpet gown in favour of a tailored, wide-legged trouser by Louis Vuitton.

She completed the outfit with a chic, one-sleeved blouse with a pussy-bow neck tie.

Her red waves were pinned up into a chignon and she wore a darker version of her signature red lip.

Emily Blunt

Last night, Emily walked away with the Female Actor in a Supporting Role Screen Actors Guild Award for her work in A Quiet Place.

Emily looked glowing with minimal makeup, allowing her structured Michael Kors dress make the statement.

The dress was adorned with sparkles, but the stand-out element has got to be the structured ruffle onm the halter-neck bodice.

Lupita Nyongo

Lupita has essentially given us all the elements we have ever wanted in a look with this stunningly executed bespoke Vera Wang ensemble.

Featuring an off-the shoulder tuxedo jacket as a bodice, the outfit then transformed into a structured, caged, blinged-out midi skirt. We were shook.

Lupita finished the look with intricate box braids and subtle pink eyeliner.

Alison Brie

Alison went for a more-is-more approach when it came to the feature piece of her look – a volumised bow that adorned the back of her dress.

The look, by Miu Miu, was so intrictae, she had to be sewn in: ' believe I am partially sewn in so tonight will be very interesting,' she told PEOPLE.

Posing alongside husband Dave Franco, the actress looked gorge, opting for a 00s inspired lined-eye and a slicked back bun.

Susan Kelechi Watson

Susan shone on the red carpet in this zingy lemon yellow number.

The stunning tiers of Christian Siriano tulle make the This Is Us actress appear as if she is literally floating, and she has perfectly paired the dress with some subtle, gold drop earrings.

Beauty-wise, she went for a clashing green eyeshadow look that made her brown eyes pop, and a nude lip.

Thursday night saw Ireland's biggest, brightest and best influencers take to the red carpet at the Mansion House in Dublin for the inaugural SHEmazing! Awards.

The style stakes were high, but mega-blogger and makeup artist Lisa Jordan took home the award for Best Dressed attendee on the night.

There was some fierce competition, but ultimately the SHEmazing! team, along with James Kavanagh who was announcing the winner, thought that the Just Jordan founder's look was drop dead gorgeous.

A post shared by Lisa Jordan (@justjordan.ie) on

With 82,000 followers on Instagram, the fashion guru shared her amazing look with her fans, who completely loved it, and we agreed.

Donning an elegant but eclectic dress by Camino Couture, the mum-of-one looked stylish and striking in her stand-out ensemble.

The blogger added a perfectly coordinating pair of gold strappy high heels and a gold handbag to the look, completing the sartorially sound ensemble.

'I was sent this beautiful dress from Camino Couture in the UK, they're a new enough brand but I absolutely adore it, I think it's a bit bright but with the weather and everything it will go down fine,' said the blogger as she took to the red carpet at he SHEmazing! Awards.

The professional makeup artist accentuated her features with a bright red lip, long lashes and a tussled high ponytail.

Congratulations on your win, Lisa!

The luck of the Irish!

A woman from County Tyrone has won the Best Dressed prize at Ladies' Day at Cheltenham, and we're loving her look.

Una O'Farrell Feeney scooped up a reward of €11k, after judge Roz Purcell crowned her with the coveted prize.

However, Una said that she's not used to all this attention and even had her wedding abroad to avoid all the people.

She told the Herald, "It's funny because I went to New York to get married and there was only 10 people there because I don't like people looking at me and there's a lot more people looking at me now.

"I started thinking about what I was going to wear about four or five weeks ago. I got the dress and I had the shoes to match. I'm delighted, I'm overwhelmed.

"I haven't won a Best Dressed before, I've never so much as won a pound in the lotto," Una added.

We're only delighted for her!

Even though we will probably never go to a ball or award ceremony, a girl can still dream about wearing a floaty, silk dress and sparkly shoes.

Well, scratch the floaty dresses because last night's SAG Awards were all about being skin-tight, cut-out and sexy.

Yep, the girls were out to impress on the red carpet last night, and while there were many style disasters (as always), these ladies got it just right.

The TV's small screen queens came out in force for the National Television Awards in London tonight.

And one thing's for sure, the style did not disappoint. We look the five best dressed stars and their FAB outfits:

1. Emma Willis

Even with a baby bump, Emma looks gorgeous tonight in a navy and floral midi dress.

2. Vogue Williams

Vogue is not letting the Irish ladies down. Stepping out in a blue halter dress and red heels, we're giving her major style points.

3. Jorgie Porter

This has to be one of our fave outfits. Classic and sexy, Hollyoak's Jorgie did not disappoint.

4. Michelle Keegan

Rocking it on the red carpet with her hubby, Michelle flaunted her taut tummy with this cut-out two-piece.

5. Jessica Wright

Keeping the TOWIE standards high, Jessica looked very chic tonight. And we're loving the eclectic blue peeking out from her dress.

Ah, award season. We all love the glitz and glam of awards season, but sometimes the celebs choices don't exactly live up to expectations.

On the other hand, there are the few that totally nail it, and look better and better every year. Here, we look back on last night and the stars that dominated the red carpet… and the ones that, well… didn't.

Best dressed

Lady Gaga – Versace

We don't think we've ever seen Lady Gaga look so ladylike. We adore her black velvet gown.

Kate Hudson – Michael Kors Collection

Keeping in with the hottest trends, Kate can really rock a crop top. Sure with her bod, she can get away with anything.

Saoirse Ronan – Saint Laurent

Saoirse hit all the right notes last night. Wearing a Saint Laurent gown, she looked like a golden goddess.

Jenna Dewan Tatum – Zuhair Murad

Channing must be one happy man! Jenna looked oh-so-elegant in this Zuhair Murad dress.

Cate Blanchett – Givenchy

Taking inspiration from the 1920's, Cate nailed this look fro head to toe.

Jennifer Lopez – Giambattista Vali

The ever-daring J Lo stood out from the crowd in this yellow Giambattista Vali dress. She never fails on the red carpet.

Kate Bosworth – Dolce & Gabbana

We are totally crushing on Kate's Dolce & Gabbana dress. All the sequins, but in a great stand-out colour.

Worst dressed

Katy Perry – Prada

While there's nothing exactly wrong, we think it's a bit boring for award season. She does look smokin' hot though.

Julianne Moore – Tom Ford

Julianne has a fab body for her age, but we think this sequin gown is a bit much and the light is hitting it in all the wrong places.

Eva Longoria – Georges Hobeika

We can see where Eva was going with this look, but it reminds us a bit too much of our granny's tablecloth. Sorry, Eva.

Sophia Bush – Narciso Rodriguez

Oh, Sophia. You were our fave in One Tree Hill but we're afraid, like Katy, this look is just too boring.

America Ferrera – Jenny Packham

And the debs dresses have arrived! While America shines bright in yellow, we feel like we've gone back to debs season. Not good.

Undecided

Heidi Klum – Marchesa

Let's be real, Heidi always looks great. But, we're so undecided on this dress. We love it, yet the feathers are a bit over-kill.

Jennifer Lawrence – Dior

J Law can get it sooo right; and then so wrong. We're kinda getting thrown off by the big diamond necklace, but still, she looks very elegant.

The biggest fashion night of the year has happened and we’re not really sure what to think!

There was a definite return to old Hollywood glamour, with lace, smooth curls and red lips a-plenty while those looking for a modern flair opted for dresses with cropped tops.

As usual there were fashion disasters, with some usually dependable actresses surprising us with bad decisions, but there were also a few stunning successes.

All in all, we’re a little underwhelmed – see what you think!

Always seen in a cute miniskirt or shorts, Pixie’s style is young, bright and fresh.

We love this floral playsuit, although we are not sure we would be as brave as Pixie – maybe on the beach!

This sixties ensemble is super cute – we love the patterned skirt and the handbag.

These orange sorbet shorts are such a great summery colour, the zip detail adds a little edge.

Finally, this piece is just perfect for a summers night event. The peachy colour would look very good on a subtle tan.
