Let's face it, if you haven't planned your Halloween costume by now, you're either staying in with Netflix tomorrow night or it's going to be an epic, off-the-cuff outfit put together in an hour.

Assuming it's the latter, we are here to help!

We've already covered pop culture costumes, couples costumes and celebs who went all out, but now we have a few epic ideas for those of you who are looking forward to a great night out but really have no will whatsoever to put the time and effort in.

Here we go…

1. Costume Not Found
Possibly THE simplest costume in the world, and it's unisex too. Plus, people will think you're a tech whizz when really your only computer skills involve stalking celebs on Instagram.

2. An emoji
So many expressive options! The masks below are available online, but with a pack of markers and some card you could just go all Art Attack and make your own. We vote for the poo emoji. It speaks volumes.

3. A retro housewife
All you need for this is some cat-eye glasses, anything with cherry print and a cute apron. Hello, Betty Draper.

4. A child of the Noughties
Take Julia Stiles as your inspiration and you'll have this costume ready in no time. Baggy pants, a crop top or anything with beading, and of course the essential two strands of hair hanging down from your ponytail. Girl power!

5. Zombify last year's costume
Zombie Red Riding Hood, Zombie Pirate, Zombie Minnie Mouse… the choices are endless.

6. A ceiling fan
Punny AND cute. Some pom poms, a skirt, a t-shirt and a permanent market are the only tools required for this. Now go and party!

7. A nerd
Bonus points if you already have the glasses! Be sure to push them up the bridge of your nose all night for extra poindexter-ness.

8. Fifty Shades of Grey
A cheeky trip to Woodies after work and you'll be all set. Even Jamie Dornan would be jealous!

9. FaceBook
As modelled by John Krasinski… we're guessing Emily Blunt wasn't attracted to him for his costume-making skills!

10. A party animal
A tiger, a zebra, a cat… if anyone asks what you are just start dancing and making animal noises. They'll get the picture.

We reckon this groom really regrets deciding to pick up his new wife and run with her…

Because of course he fell, and it looked painful too!

Thankfully, the bride seems to be a good sport and gets back in the saddle (so to speak).

Dating apps are weird. I don’t care how normalised they have become in the life of the average single twenty-something, there’s still something about a lot of them that rubs me up the wrong way – especially after a recent experience.

I should say at this point that my interaction on these apps is limited, and for that I am grateful. I’ve been going out with a really great guy for nearly three years (smug? Moi?), and I am convinced (convinced!) that had Tinder been operational while I was still single, all hell would have broken loose.

Not that it hasn’t already done so among my friends. One of the girls Googled a guy she was chatting to only to find he was up in court, another had the L-word used on her a week in, and one lad I know has his profile picture used for catfishing purposes on Tinder. The list goes on – it's bleak.

Dating has always been a bit of a minefield, but stuff like Tinder definitely pushes new boundaries – and as I found out, so does Cuddlr. My experience with Cuddlr, billed by its creators as a ‘location-based social-meeting app for cuddling,’ all started out as a bit of innocent fun. Isn’t that what they all say? Famous last words…

Last month after hearing about it, myself and a few colleagues downloaded it at lunch one day for the fun of it, simply because we could not believe that something this ridiculous actually existed. The app itself has a number of glitches and is pretty weird; but still, we sent each other and some strangers cuddle requests, had a good laugh and then went back to work. I totally forgot I even had the app until later that evening, when this notification popped up.

Because of the aforementioned glitchiness, I couldn’t even see who it was from.

I was instantly terrified, but I should have known – it’s location-based, so whoever was messaging me was able to see where my office is. I checked in with some of my colleagues to see if it was any of them, messing – it wasn’t.  I was scared. Cuddlr was deleted straight away, lesson learned. Don’t use Cuddlr unless you’re serious about the whole stranger hook-up element.

Each to his own, but it’s experiences like these that make me totally miss the days when socialising online was limited to the likes of Habbo Hotel and Neopets. I still prefer meeting people the good old-fashioned way – nice and awkward, in person, sometimes with a bit of Dutch courage.

Of course, I’m open to correction; there is no right or wrong here, only experiences. Surely there are happy couples out there who met on Tinder? Has a cuddle courtesy of Cuddlr helped you get through the day?! Let us know!

Oh, and did you really think I was going to tell you all about the time I used 3nder – the threesome hookup app? Nah. I’ll leave that to the more adventurous…

It looks like this Gossip Girl romance is back on!

Yes, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle look like they may be officially an item again!

Following the breakdown of their respective marriages, by 2012 the couple were said to be in a relationship and were spotted kissing.

However, things went quiet from then on…until now that is.

Over the past two weeks Kelly and Matthew have been sharing cute photos of themselves together on their Instagram accounts – Kelly’s with a little heart as a caption. We really hope these two are together and not just (very) good friends as they are officially the cutest!

Kelly could use some good news after a judge sent her children to live with their father in France back in August.

The mum-of-two is reported to have filed an appeal against the ruling, deeming the decision "unconstitutional": "The children have a fundamental right to reside in their own country and the loss of fundamental rights even for a brief period is irreparable."

Maybe you’ve gone through it yourself, or maybe a friend or relative has, but sometimes a relationship ends, not for any huge dramatic reason, not with screaming matches and shouting, but simply because things have fizzled out.

In many ways ending a relationship mutually after the spark has gone out is far more difficult than if things had finished with a bang. You still consider your ex as your best friend, you still crave the comfort that comes from being with them, but suddenly they’re not around any longer.

There’s no anger or hatred, making it even harder to comprehend why things are over. Telling yourself again and again that “it’s for the best” sounds great on paper but it doesn’t help with the loneliness or the uncertainty.

So how can you know when a relationship is repairable and when it’s best to end things? It’s inevitable that in a long term relationship you’ll both become more comfortable and relaxed with each other – but when does it become something to be concerned about?

Certain signs – though they might not signal the end of a relationship – are alarm bells that things might not be quite right. One big warning sign is a lack of physical attraction. Over time we get used to our partner, their traits and looks, but we should still be able to recognise what it was they drew us to them in the first place – that little flicker of attraction that set things off.

Another indicator that should prompt you to take a step back and think about where your relationship is going is a lack of meaningful communication and interaction. The stresses and chores of everyday life can lead our conversations to become mundane and practical, which is of course a fact of any long-term relationship. But do you still feel comfortable bringing up deeper issues with your partner – how you’re feeling, what’s upsetting you, what makes you happy? If you don’t consider your other half as someone you can open up to any longer, maybe it’s a sign that certain elements of your relationship are faltering.

Of course, every couple has their ups and downs and goes through phases of not being as passionate or engaged as they once were. Why not take the time to think about what has changed between you, and focus on possible ways of reigniting that lost spark? Something as simple as dressing up and going out for dinner instead of getting a takeaway in front of the TV can be enough to make the two of you realise just how good you are together.

There will be difficult moments in every relationship. The key is knowing when something is worth fighting for or when it’s best to move on. That’s easier said than done in many cases, but remember that you’re the one in charge of your own happiness – nobody else.

He seems perfect – but you're worried he might be a bit of a troublemaker. Well, mostly your friends are trying to convince you he is.

Here are the signs they could well be right…

1. He contacts you on his terms
He will only call you when it suits him and acts angry when you confront him about it.

2. He cold-shoulders you in public
He's all about you when it's just the two of you, but when you meet him on a night out with the girls he barely acknowledges you. Not on.

3. He’s a cheat
It’s not worth it. If he has a track record and you find yourself recognising every sign so far then stop trying to delude yourself with the idea of being the girl to change him. Sure you could be the one, but if he gives you an inkling you're not, then don't put yourself through that. We've all been there and it's never fun.

4. He’s a sweet-talker
Most guys say the wrong thing all of the time (bless). But this guy is the biggest charmer you've ever come across, to the point where it's actually a bit much.

5. His friends warn you
Bromances are taking very seriously – so if one of his friends warns you he will hurt you, you should listen.

It was only yesterday we wrote about Ashton’s sweet comments about life with fiancée, Mila Kunis and their new baby daughter, Wyatt Isabelle.

Now, allegations have been made against the actor saying that he cheated on Mila back in 2012.

Ashton and Mila were speculated to be dating in April of that year, but their relationship was not confirmed until July.

Make-up artist, Linn Massinger is now alleging that she had relations with the actor in June of that same summer, leading many to speculate that he may have cheated on Mila.

However, if the couple didn't get together until that July (fingers crossed) then this is all one big confusing misunderstanding!

Ashton split from his ex-wife Demi Moore in 2011, weeks after he was accused of cheating on her on the weekend of their six year anniversary.

We really hope this rumour isn’t true and what an awful time for something like this to be brought to light, weeks after the couple welcome their first child into the world.

Kaley Cuoco had an emotional day yesterday after she was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The event was obviously one that was very close to the actress’ heart as she was seen dabbing her eyes with a tissue and told E! News: “I didn’t write a speech, because I thought I would speak from my heart and I already started crying in the car on the way over here, so I got that out of the way. I still think they are going to call and say this was a mistake.”

The Big Bang Theory star also payed homage to her 8 Simple Rules co-star, John Ritter, who passed away suddenly after falling ill during rehearsals for the show.

Kaley posed for a photo with John’s own Walk of Fame star and said: “He must be jumping off the walls right now. I can’t even imagine what’s going on up there.”

It was also reported that Kaley asked for her star to be close to her former on-screen dad’s star – what a sweet thought.

The actress also thanked her husband, Ryan Sweeting in her speech, saying: “My husband Ryan, who has also dealt with a lot of Kaley days, you have no idea how much I love you. This would not be the same without being able to share it with you today.”

Ryan and Kaley were married last January after a whirlwind romance.

Congratulations to the star, it sounds like she had a really lovely day.

A photo of a Topshop mannequin with unrealistically thin legs has gone viral, prompting criticism of the retail giant.

Student Becky Leigh Hopper took this picture of her size 8/10 friend standing next to a mannequin in her local branch of Topshop in the UK. The image has since been retweeted over 5,000 times.

Twitter was soon overrun by people expressing their disappointment in Topshop's promotion of such an unrealistic body image:

Despite the criticism, Topshop have yet to make a statement on the issue.

This isn't the first time the company has faced backlash for displaying overly thin mannequins in its stores:

What do you think – is this acceptable or not?

Applying concealer shouldn’t be rocket science, but with constant talk of contouring and highlighting, it's easy to feel a little overwhelmed by the whole thing. By the end of this article, you’ll not only be able to apply concealer in your sleep (providing you get sleep, in which case you're not going to need half the tips here) but you'll have picked up some handy hacks as well. Not bad!

Here, girls, is a very simple guide for getting your concealer to work for you.

1) Know what each colour does! You need to know that peach shades hide dark shadows, while green toned concealer disguises red blemishes and the yellow-toned variety corrects an uneven skin tone! Getting your head around this is half the battle.

2) Apply your foundation FIRST. It seems logical to tend to your blemish first and then blend out the rest of your face, but applying your concealer first means you’ll end up removing it when you apply your foundation!

3) Always use your ring finger when applying concealer under your eyes. This finger is the weakest one on your hand and won’t drag at the delicate skin beneath your eye. Good to know!

4) Don’t forget to set your concealer with loose powder. Otherwise the job is only half done!

5) We all know that concealer can sometimes look ‘cakey’ around our eyes and draw more attention to the issue we’re trying to hide, so don’t forget to blot the area with a thin tissue to prevent the concealer from crusting and making you look even more shattered!

HACK! Correct any winged eyeliner errors by dipping an angled brush in some concealer. Much less stressful than doing it all over again, right?

HACK! Concealer is the perfect primer for your eye shadow. Not only will it stop the shadow from dusting down your cheeks, but it’ll also make your chosen shade of shadow pop because the concealer has neutralised the tone of your lid.

HACK! A combination of eye cream, highlighter and concealer will work wonders if you’re trying to hide puffy eyes. The morning after a night out, mix the three products and apply under and outside the eye and over the brow bone. People will think you got your full twelve hours!

It has been reported that James Corden and his wife, Julia, welcomed a baby girl into the world on Monday night.

The Sun have revealed that the overjoyed couple have chosen to name the little girl Carey – though we’re sure it has nothing to do with Halloween being just around the corner (or at least we really hope not!)

In fact, it is thought the name came from Julia’s maiden surname – which makes a lot more sense really.

James and Julia are already parents to three-year-old Max.

The news of their exciting arrival comes not long after James was announced as the new host of the US The Late Late Show replacing Craig Ferguson.

Congratulations to the happy family on their exciting news!

After charming audiences as Bridget Jones in the first two films, there seemed to be no doubt that Renée Zellweger would return for the final instalment.

Now though, it appears studio bosses are worried she's no longer a good fit for the part.

After stepping out in Hollywood with a dramatic new look last week, the film's producers are reportedly worried she will alienate audiences, according to the Daily Star.

Rumours are even emerging that Reese Witherspoon has been lined up for the part, for which she would earn at least €25 million. We can't imagine that'll go down well with Renée – the pair were pictured at a charity event together in Los Angeles just last week, and appear to be good pals.

With no Colin Firth or Hugh Grant lined up for the final film, things were always going to be a bit different, but we still can't imagine Bridget Jones without Renee.

Despite the large paycheck, it's uncertain whether Reese would be willing to pile on the pounds for the iconic role. Renée put on 30 pounds for both films but managed to lose the weight within a short space of time once filming wrapped. That can't have been easy… or pleasant!
