Tinder dates can be really nerve racking. So let’s not make it worse by doing the following:

1. Sex as a topic of conversation
Starting a conversation about sex with someone you’ve just met is not an okay thing to do.

Sexxx2. Bad manners
Remember what your mother taught you: don’t open your mouth while chewing, don’t burp at the dinner table or use your index finger to pick rice out of your molars! Manners tell a lot about a person and give great insight into their personality. Be on your best behaviour.

Burp3. Make SURE you’ve got the right guy!
Before you go on that Tinder date, make sure you know which guy it is you are asking out. Study each photo carefully before making your decision, and if you’re still not sure – just ask! It’ll save yourself an awkward moment when the wrong guy turns up. Yikes!

Yikes4. Being on your phone
There’s nothing more mind-numbingly irritating than being out with someone, either a date or a friend, and they’re constantly texting on their phone. You can’t put it away for 20 minutes?!

Busy5. Having one drink too many
Don’t get drunk on the first date! Your filter will break down, so too will your defences and it’ll usually lead to something that you didn’t want to happen. You’ll say something you didn’t want to say, behave in a way that you wouldn’t usually and do something (someone) that you wouldn’t normally do. Have a drink by all means, but don’t go over your limit.

im-not-drunk-gif6. Meeting for dinner
Dinner is a big commitment for a first date with a stranger. You can’t predict how it will go, so if you want a get-out clause in case it’s incredibly awkward, start with something casual like a drink or coffee.

Dinner7. Splitting the bill
Don’t be an amateur. When the time comes to split the bill for coffee/lunch/dinner, offer to split. He’s not made of money and it will make you seem generous (which you are, this time)

Suits

8. Making TOO much eye contact
This is a key element of all first dates. You have to make the appropriate amount of eye contact. You don’t want to creep him out but you also don’t want to seem disinterested.

It’s not easy being an astronaut, and we can only imagine how much they must be gasping for a cup of coffee at times.

Well, they will be delighted with the news that the Italians have made a coffee machine that doesn’t let the lack of gravity get in its way.

The ISSpresso will be installed in the International Space Station later this year, and is made entirely of steel components that can withstand huge pressures. It can also be used to make a quick cup of tea, and broths that can be used to rehydrate dried space meals. Sounds delish! Kind of….

When we were kids, making friends was so easy and came so naturally. However, when we got a bit older, it became weirdly awkward and difficult.

Here are the super awkward moments of making a new friend in your mid 20s.

1. Saying hello
You always see them on the bus, or along the corridor and you know you should say hi, but what if they think you’re a weirdo?!

2. Awkward chit chat
You begin to break the ice and slowly realise…you have no idea what the hell you are doing.

3. Conversation
When you finally get into the swing of things, you begin to feel like you totally have a bond with this person.

4. Social Media
Should you add them or is it still too early?

5. In jokes
You know a friendship is for keeps when you are both in fits of laughter no one else can fathom. It totally wasn’t that funny.

6. Full blown insults
After a while, you can’t remember the last time you greeted this person without adding an insult to the end of the sentence. Outside of your friendship you wouldn’t dare talk to somebody like this, but nothing quite expresses your relationship with this person like random curse words.

7. Family
This person has met your family and has no problems talking to your mother over a cup of tea and a few biscuits. Your parents ask how they’re getting on with life and your nan even lights an extra candle for them for their exam results. This person who you awkwardly talked to about your holidays has eventually become part of the family and you can’t remember a time without them. Totally worth it!

One Direction star, Louis Tomlinson, has bought a very extravagant gift…for himself!

However, it isn’t your everyday gift of a jumper or maybe a nice pair of shoes, Louis bought himself a football team!

The singer, who once even played for his hometown team, the Doncaster Rovers, is now their proud owner.

A spokesperson for the former owner of the team confirmed the news when he said: “It’s done, the takeover is complete.”

The deal has been in the pipeline for Louis for some time now with a few disputes getting in the way, though these now look to be sorted.

Congratulations to Louis – we’re sure something like this was his dream when he was little boy!

The age old idea that ‘men don’t have feelings, they have muscles’ can finally be done away with.

A new study has revealed that while men reported feeling less emotional than women when presented with heart-warming content, the science proved that they actually felt MORE emotion than their female counter parts.

Mindlab founder Dr. David Lewis said that our media consumption has led to these gender stereotypes:

“Gender stereotypes about men being stoic and women being emotional are reinforced by our day-to-day consumption of media and our social interactions.

“We tend to oversimplify and exaggerate the perceived differences between men and women and are more likely to focus on evidence that supports our existing gender stereotypes.

“This study suggests that men feel emotion just as much as women, sometimes more strongly, but are less willing to express these emotions openly due to expectations put on them by society.”

A survey of 2,000 men was conducted to support the study, and it found that 67% thought they were more emotional than they appeared. 40% of 18-24 year-olds said they had cried in the last week, and 64% of men surveyed said they were surprised at how much emotion they felt when their child was born.

At last, some science to prove what we had always suspected!

We absolutely LOVE this!

Model, Karrueche Tran, has shared an image of her stretch marks in a bid to urge women to love themselves for who they are.

Karrueche, who is best known for being Chris Brown’s girlfriend and Rihanna’s love rival, shared the image on her Instagram account with the caption: “this is me … I’ve got a tiny little booty w stretch marks .. there’s nothing wrong with the way God made us.”

The model still looks amazing, and the message she is sending is so important.  Hopefully her honesty can help women out there accept themselves for who they are.
