Huge congratulations are in order for Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds who are expecting their third child together. The pair confirmed the news at the premiere of Detective Pikachu in New York last night.
The Gossip Girl alum showed off her blooming baby bump as she walked down the red carpet with her husband.
Ryan and Blake are already parents to two daughters- four-year-old James and two-year-old Inez.
The mum-of-two previously opened up about how important her family are to her. She said: "All my eggs are in one basket, and that’s my family. That’s where my heart is. That’s where my everything is. That’s the thing that I feel most protective of and the thing that I feel is the most exposed when I feel exploited."
We couldnd't be happier for Ryan and Blake. What an exciting time for the couple!
"I don’t usually wish ex-girlfriends Happy Birthday. But Betty’s special. Happy Birthday to the one and only, Betty White," followed by a birthday cake emoji.
The duo are both renowned for their quick wit, and have known each other since she portrayed his grandmother in the 2009 rom-com, The Proposal, alongside Sandra Bullock.
Sandra Bullock, Reynolds and White filmed a GAS Funny or Die promotional video for the film, and it seems they've been best friends ever since.
After Deadpool premiered in 2016, White made her own review for the flick; "Hello, I just saw the most anticipated movie of the year," White said about the Reynolds-made movie, while lounging in a red velvet chair.
"It was glorious. Once in a generation, a movie comes along that your whole family will love. If your family is a f*cking group of ass-kissing inbreds," she jokingly dead-panned. "Plus, Ryan Reynolds looks so f*cking handsome in his red leather suit."
Reynolds wished White a happy birthday back in 2018 with an amusing photo of himself wearing his Deadpool costume on Instagram, holding a martini and hot dog.
Now first of all, we ain't here to promote keyboard warriors or viciously cruel groups online who tear people down for the craic. No, that's not our style.
However, the art of trolling must be respected at all costs, especially from a nation as sarcastic and exceptional at 'slagging' such as Ireland.
From Waterford Whisperers embodying the Ultimate Irish Trolling Association, to the current troll of the day; the egg that stole Kylie Jenner's record for most likes on an Instagram photos, here's a round-up of our favourite savage moments in pop culture.
Ready yourself for wigs being hilariously snatched and thrown into the wind, it's a bumpy ride of burns and teasing gone too far.
1. Waterford Whisperers trolling Westlife's new song, Hello My Love:
The vast majority of people were ECSTATIC when Westlife announced their comeback; their Twenty Tour sold 400,000 tickets in under 48 hours for God's sake.
Not everyone was over the moon about Ireland's premier boyband reuniting however, with Waterford Whisperers delivering a vicious burn that has us in stitches.
"Helplines are now fielding calls from thousands of stricken people after the release of the first new Westlife single in over eight years," the article states.
"Penned by Ed Sheeran for maximum disruption, the track caused nausea, hysterics and uncontrollable weeping for one in every seven listeners, and emergency call centres have stated that they are receiving one call every nine seconds which consists solely of someone screaming “fuuuuuuuuuck”."
As savage as it is towards the national heroes we call Westlife, we were laughing for a solid twenty minutes at this one.
2.Lovinkiara's artistic flare
If you haven't seen last year's Twitter thread that featured @lovinkiara taking drawing requests, and delivering some…interest…results, you've missed out.
She became somewhat of a hero among trolls after uploaded a tweet that supposedly depicted her talanted artistic capabilities:
Iconic trolling Kiara, carry on dear daughter of the troll.
3. Justin Bieber heads to…North Korea?!
A website asked its users to choose the next country which Justin Bieber would visit on his My World tour, and the answer wasn't exactly conventional. Let's just say he wasn't rushing to grab his passport anytime soon…
Yup, the Biebs himself (babyface Biebs at that stage in his career… and arguably in his current stage too…) was instructed to visit NORTH KOREA.
What's even more amusing/horrifying, North Korea received an insane 659,448 votes. Dear God, that's the size of a country. It's more than the population of Iceland, let that sink in…
4. M Night School Hoax
M. Night Shyamalan is a relatively renowned film director, known for creating iconic scary movies such as The Sixth Sense, The Happening, Split, The Last Airbender, Signs and The Village.
While many claim that his films are hit-and-miss, with some achieving critical acclaim and box office success, others have royally bombed. Someone eventually took it upon themselves to crowdfund to send him back to film school.
Named The M. Night School, the creator worked out that if 150,000 people donated one dollar each, they could donate enough cash for the director to be put through film school once again at NYU.
The ruthless trolling of the director rages on today… who knows if he's become immune to it at this stage or if he cries himself to sleep every M. Night?
5. Ed Sheeran's head of security
@SecurityKev became a smash hit star as Ed Sheeran's GAS head of security, and who even got the catchphrase; "Always. Watching" for his consistent background lurking.
It's iconic, he even calls Ed 'bae', throwing in a 'Who's the Daddy' at the most random of moments. His internet fame has earned him a huge 963,000 Instagram followers who watch his every move, ironically;
The weekend festivities may be over, but that doesn’t mean you have to wallow in your own self-pity tonight. One of the best things to do after a hectic weekend is to unwind and watch one of your favorite movies.
We recommend watching something light and funny to deal with that dreaded Sunday night fear, and luckily enough the perfect Sunday night flick is on TV tonight.
Thanks to the wonderful people over at Universal we’ll be tuning into one of the funniest Sandra Bullock movies.
The Proposal is on at 9 pm tonight and we are beyond excited about it. It’s hard to believe it’s been nine years since the film was initially released.
The hilarious movie stars Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. Bullock stars as the fierce editor whose world flips upside down when she is told she might be deported back home to Canada.
Luckily, the quick-thinking boss puts a plan together and uses her assistant to solve her problems. She tells Reynolds’ character, Andrew, that he must marry her, but he will only agree if she promotes him to editor and publishes his book.
The duo embarks on a trip to Andrew’s hometown where they have to convince his family and their immigration agent that their marriage isn't a complete farce.
This movie is full of witty scenes, touching moments and an infamous dance sequence with Betty White.
We couldn’t think of anything better to watch on a Sunday night.
You can catch The Proposal on Universal at 9 pm tonight.
“I have anxiety, I’ve always had anxiety,” Ryan revealed, “Both in the lighthearted ‘I’m anxious about this’ kind of thing, and I’ve been to the depths of the darker end of the spectrum, which is not fun.”
His quick wit, which has made him a sensation on social media, has often been his primary form of self-protection in stressful situations.
The Definitely, Maybe star's strained relationship with his father Jim, a former police officer, partially led Ryan to develop this unconventional defence mechanism.
His father was a 'the stress dispensary in our house', Ryan noted: "I became this young skin-covered micromanager. When you stress out kids, there’s a weird paradox that happens because they’re suddenly taking on things that aren’t theirs to take on.”
Jim was also quite the character though, and introduced his son to comedy icons like Buster Keaton and Jack Benny. Through this, Ryan learned that every difficult moment has an element to it that can be made laughable.
Then, when Ryan got into his early 20s, he entered a phased that he characterises as 'unhinged'
“I was partying and just trying to make myself vanish in some way,” he admits.
Things are better these days, though. The father-of-two uses specific coping mechanisms to deal with his anxiety in a constructive way.
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are one of our favourite Hollywood couples. She won us over as the ever so stylish Serena van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl, and Ryan never fails to make us laugh with his sarcastic and witty tweets.
They may be loved by many, but like any Hollywood couple, the pair has been hit with dozens of rumours since they started dating.
Recent reports claimed that the actors haven’t been spending much quality time together due to their hectic schedules. Deadpool 2 will be released in the coming weeks and Blake has landed the lead female role in the film adaptation of the Mark Burnell novel The Rhythm Section, so the duo are certainly busy, however, The Proposal star couldn’t help but comment on rumours about their marriage.
Speaking about what first drew him to the craft distiller, Ryan told Forbes, "About a year ago, I tried Aviation for the first time. Since that day, I’ve spent my time finding some way to infiltrate the company."
"I did this for one simple reason: It’s the best damn gin on the planet."
That's high praise! The company also had kind words for Ryan, calling their 'new boss' an 'actor, producer, [and] professional good-looking person'.
He should really just have that printed on his CV.
