The doting mum shared that it isn’t easy to surprise her, but her fiance did a stellar job, “Damien well and truly caught me. Himself & the sister had been in cahoots about the ring for some time apparently!”

Sile admitted that she was stunned when Damien proposed, “I could barely see it through the tears of joy (floods!!) when the box was produced though. I was completely blown away. The moment was pure magic.”

We are crazy about that ring too, and so is Sile by the sounds of it, “The ring itself is better than anything I might've imagined for myself.I absolutely adore it!”

We are over the moon for Sile and Damien. What an exciting time for the couple!

The Nicky Byrne Show with Jenny Green on RTÉ 2FM have donated the prize money form their You're Some Laugh competition, which featured the laugh of the late Avicii, a Pieta House.

The game, which has been going on for the last eight weeks, sees listeners guess which celebrity laugh is played on air each day until the money is won.

For every day the laugh is guessed incorrectly, the prize fund goes up, however, this particular run has been closed and the €840 has been donated to Pieta House, after it was confirmed Avicii took his own life earlier this month.

The Swedish DJ and producer Avicii, whose real name was Tim Bergling, passed away in a resort in Oman on Friday, April 20, aged just 28.

“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii,” his representative said in a statement.

“He was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th.  The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given.”

Earlier this week, the musician's family confirmed he had dies by suicide, saying he "could not go on any longer."

They wrote, “Our beloved Tim was a seeker, a fragile artistic soul searching for answers to existential questions. An over-achieving perfectionist who travelled and worked hard at a pace that led to extreme stress.”

“He really struggled with thoughts about Meaning, Life, Happiness. He could not go on any longer. He wanted to find peace.”

Through good times and bad, the humble chocolate bar has always been there for us.

Whether we're treating ourselves after a hard day's work, trying to drown our period cramps in a sea of hot cocoa, or simply just giving in to those pesky sugar cravings, chocolate is one of the few things we can always count on to put a smile on our face.

Sure, it's all about moderation, but there are definitely worse ways to relieve stress – and science can prove it.

Two studies from the Loma Linda University in California have found the the consumption of chocolate can have a positive effect on stress levels, as well as inflammation, mood, memory and immunity.

However, before you start chomping down on that last emergency Easter egg, you should know that not all chocolate is made equal.

If you want to enjoy all the benefits listed above, you need to be eating dark chocolate with over 70 per cent cocao.

The study looked at how the flavonoids contained in dark chocolate impacted the human brain, and found that the higher concentration of cacao, the more beneficial effects are to be had.

"For years, we have looked at the influence of dark chocolate on neurological functions from the standpoint of sugar content – the more sugar, the happier we are," says lead researcher Lee S. Berk.

"This is the first time that we have looked at the impact of large amounts of cacao in doses as small as a regular-sized chocolate bar in humans over short or long periods of time, and are encouraged by the findings.

"These studies show us that the higher the concentration of cacao, the more positive the impact on cognition, memory, mood, immunity and other beneficial effects."

We can't argue with that…

So, in case you didn't know already, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are about to gift the world with another offspring and if that's not an excuse to celebrate, I don't know what is.

To mark to occasion, Kim Kardashian threw Chrissy the cutest surprise baby shower, complete with a stellar celebrity guest list and some of the most PUN-derful cakes we ever did see.

Of course, fans were able to catch a glimpse of all the action on social media, with Kim uploading several Snapchats over the course of the festivities.

One clip in particular made had us drooling at the mouth, when Kim showed her followers the array of gorgeous cakes on offer, all of which were iced with various puns including "A Legend in the making" and "Legendary."

Y'know – just in case there was any confusion over who the father is.

John Legend and Kanye West also shared a sweet moment when they put there political differences aside and posed for joyful selfie.

Taking to Twitter, Kanye captioned the snap, "We got love. Agree to disgaree" –  most likely referring to the fact that the pair has been involved in an exchange over differing views on Donald Trump's presidency earlier in the week.

All in all, it looked like great craic altogether, with Chrissy even showing her silly side by taking a seat on a decorative sheep which Kim claims is a priceless collectors item.

But hey, it's Chrissy's baby shower so she can do what she wants, right?

Today, the Irish social media space was in uproar after Bloggers Unveiled disappeared from online view.

The account, which has over 135,000 followers, was disabled this morning without explanation.

A number of conspiracy theories were doing the rounds, and new pages sprung up in BU's place claiming to be her to get followers.

However, the Bloggers Unveiled page is back, and she returned with a statement about the criticism she has been facing.

'First things first, I'd like to distance myself from all other pages which have been created in the 12 hours Iv'e been gone – they aint me.'

'I'd be lying if I said this page wasn't work. It is. And last night I folded.'

'But you know what, I'm not here to make friends. I'm not here to be liked and if you think I'm creating a nasty environment here then that's your opinion and your opinion is none of my business.'

'This page isn't about me, it's about the content I post. I'm a regular person. I'm nobody important or special so endless speculation as to who I am is futile.

'Ill be back. Watch this space.'

The page has since been turned to private.

For the majority of 2018, Instagram call-out page Bloggers Unveiled has been the online watch dog for influencers involved in shady practices.

Gaining over 130,000 followers during that time, Bloggers Unveiled carved out a space online as 'Ireland's Gossip Girl,' as she continued to reveal insider information and identify issues within the influencer industry.

This morning, followers of the page were dismayed to find that the Bloggers Unveiled account on Instagram no longer exists.

The page was a sounding board where followers of bloggers would give their two cents without being blocked.

Because of the freedom of thought expressed on the page by it's followers and owner, it was often accused by bloggers as being a 'hate campaign' or 'bullying' or generally inciting nastiness towards people in the industry.

Despite months of being online, the question has always remained – who is Bloggers Unveiled?

Many people seem to think that it is a journalist, due to her insider knowledge and the fact that she uploaded a story from a journalists table at Friday's VIP Style Awards. In fact, journalists sitting at that table were hounded after the story went up, as people quizzed them on whether or not they we were Bloggers Unveiled.

However, BU uploaded a new story yesterday saying that she categorically is not a journalist.

People also speculate that she is in PR, and was sick of the underhanded tactics used by some bloggers (some, not all).

Some speculate that she is an influencer herself, who felt she could no longer stand idly by and not comment on what she saw occurring in the industry.

A post shared by Martina Roddy (@martinaroddy85) on

Regardless, the page is now deactivated, and I'm left wondering – could it be because her anonymity was jeopardised?

Many bloggers were hurt by the page, so it's not unfeasible to consider that perhaps someone has been making notes on the page which ultimately added up to a guess at who it is, and if that guess was right, perhaps that was enough to scare BU into deleting the page. After all, if they do work in the industry, they probably don't want their personal or professional reputations marred by being outed as the owner of the page.

I think that everyone probably has a short list in their mind as to who they think Bloggers Unveiled is, and many people have been accused of being behind the page, myself included.

While the general consensus is that it is someone within the industry – making the pool of potential candidates smaller- others believe that it's all a smoke screen, and isn't someone who works in media at all.

A post shared by Laura de Barra (@debarradesign) on

'I don’t believe for a second that BU was at the Image or VIP Awards,' Dani Mahoney, Editor of Missy.ie said on Twitter.

'They are events for a certain group of people, mainly those nominated. It’s not really the type of thing that just anyone would go it. Even people in the industry are kinda not bothered to go.'

'The images and videos from the awards were really bad quality. Which leads me to believe that they were screen grabs of other people’s snaps.'

If Bloggers Unveiled actually wasn't at either of these events, then it's much less likely that someone could have guessed who they are.

The other conspiracy is simple – perhaps Bloggers Unveiled just got sick of running the page, much like Bullshitcallerouter before her.

Running a massive internet forum with over 130,000 followers is essentially a full time job, and perhaps BU felt that her job was done, she had kicked up enough fuss and drawn enough attention to the industry issues to retire – safe in the knowledge that the conversation would continue without her.

The other option is that maybe, after months of her page being reported by bloggers, Instagram could have taken the whole thing down.

If Bloggers Unveiled is gone for good, we're certain another page will spring up in her place, after all it's clear that people want an outlet to vent their frustration at the influencer industry.

However, I'm inclined to feel that she will be back, perhaps unveiling herself in the process of her return.

Fans have also been expressing their delight online, with many mentioning how far Lea has come since losing her boyfriend and fellow Glee star Cory Monteith in 2013.

It is understood that Lea has been dating clothing company president Zandy Reich for a year. The pair had been friends for years but became romantically involved last summer.

Lea previously opened up to People about her life with 32-year-old Zandy, “I’m very happy and I think that you can tell. I don’t really talk a lot about my personal life, but I’m also the kind of person where I always say, ‘You will see how happy I am just by looking at my face.’ I can’t hide it.”

The actress joked about Ryan Murphy, who she has worked closely with since her days on Glee, saying he has given Zandy his approval.

“When my boyfriend got the seal of approval from Ryan Murphy, that was it. Yeah my parents, yeah friends, whatever. But Ryan Murphy, it’s a done deal — it sealed the deal,” she shared.

Huge congratulations to Lea and Zandy.

Claire Foy won the hearts of many for her Golden Globe-winning role as Queen Elizabeth on The Crown, however, fans were hugely disappointed when reports that she was paid less than her co-star Matt Smith came to light last month.

It was revealed that Smith, who plays Prince Philip in the Netflix drama, earned a whopping £10,000 more per episode.

In light of the controversy, reports are now claiming that Claire, 33, is set to receive a lump sum of £200,000 (€226,880) from the production company.

Speaking about the pay gap, the actress recently admitted she was embarrassed by the whole thing, but insisted it was an eye-opening moment that would stick with her for the rest of her career.

"It definitely opened my eyes to a lot. And I certainly won't be naïve about those things," Foy sad.

"It's really opened my eyes about what I am allowed to have an opinion about, and what I'm allowed to stand up for myself about.

"And I think that's really changed my approach to myself and other women in this industry. It's been only a positive thing – even though, embarrassing."

Matt Smith also commented on the situation, saying how he supported his co-star "completely."

"I support her completely, and I'm pleased that it was resolved and they made amends for it, because that's what needs to happen," he said.

A new cast will take over Foy and Smith's roles in the next season of The Crown, with an air date yet to be revealed.

Caroline Flack, 38, and Andrew Brady, 27, have announced their engagement after just three months of dating.

The couple, who met in February, have been keeping fans updated with a series of holiday snaps, and on Saturday, the Love Island presenter shared a photo of her not-so-bare ring finger along.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote: "He's put it on my finger and it won't come off … so I've said yes #chooselove."

According to The Sun on Sunday, Andrew, who is famous for stints on the The Apprentice and Celebrity Big Brother, popped the question last week.

Speaking to the newspaper a source said: "Caroline is totally in love. Andrew treats her like a princess. She's grinning from ear to ear because she feels like she's found The One. All Caroline's family love him and he's got the Flack seal of approval.

"She's so happy that she is able to go on Love Island this year having found love herself. She views it as a fairytale story."

However, it hasn't all been smooth sailing. Last month, Caroline reportedly dumped the reality TV star over rumours that he was only using her for fame.

It's believed she grew suspicious of the amount of photographers that would appear when the pair were out together, but after crisis talks they managed to get their relationship back on track.

It was also claimed that Andrew "shared a passionate kiss" with a dancer he met in a Chester night club, just days after Caroline introduced him to her family.

But judging by their latest snaps, the couple are now more loved up than ever.

Irelands Got Talent hit Irish TV screens in early February, with guest judges such as Michelle Visage, Jason Byrne, Denise Van Outen and Louis Walsh.

While the judges sparkled in their own right, we had a look at the person behind all the glamorous outfits the judges wore throughout the show. Laura Mullett, a Dublin based stylist, originally from Wexford, had the primary responsibility of styling presenter Lucy Kennedy and two judges, reality show star Louis Walsh and comedian Jason Byrne.

'It was fantastic, I’ve worked in the industry for almost nine years now and I love it. I’ve worked on a lot of different TV shows, like Ireland Am, Xpose, Pat Kenny Tonight, but I found with a show of that magnitude everything is heightened, it’s very exciting to be part of it,” she told SHEmazing.

A post shared by Laura Mullett (@lauramullettstylist) on

Funny man Jason Byrne was styled in Moss Bros suits in a variety of colours from maroon to more subtle tones such as light blues and greys.

Speaking of Jason’s personal style, Laura said: “I found Jason’s style would be more casual kind of, t-shirts and jeans for gigs and a real kind of cool, chilled style, so he wasn’t used to wearing suits.

'Initially, we set up our consultation and had a coffee and stuff but I suppose from his perspective he was going to be dressed up in a penguin suit but it was so fun.” “I think with Jason especially, he never had that suit experience before, with him his wardrobe would have been more kind of gig clothes and then maybe he was wearing a suit to a wedding.'

'It was amazing to have that trust and make some friends along the way. He looked fantastic.”

A post shared by Laura Mullett (@lauramullettstylist) on

While Jason’s outfits were on point thanks to Laura, the comedian was also adored on the show with his quick wit and humorous comments throughout. “I find with a really good comedian it brings that real Irish element to the show,' said Laura.

'Even from the side perspective of the stage, you’re soaking it all in, you’re watching the acts, you become so invested in it.

'But his comments had everyone laughing and I think then the chemistry between himself and the likes of Michelle Visage who brings such an experience, like sophisticated glamorous but yet really warm element to it, I think they really bounced off each other.”

Judge Louis Walsh described guest Judge Michelle visage as loud and American, but honest and brilliant.

The reality star, best known for her appearance as a judge on Ru Paul’s Drag Race certainly did not disappoint with her vibrant, extravagant accessories and outfits during the show.

“My attitude has always been more is more. I think it’s really fun for people to showcase their personalities and their quirks. I actually spent most of the series ogling all of Michelle Visages glasses because I am a spectacle wearer myself, her glasses are gold.”

“I followed Michelle Visage, I loved her kind of sassy quirkiness. She brings such a cool element into Rupaul’s Dragrace and for her to come over we were all so excited, even to get to meet her and see her style in person because it’s very authentic in herself.

'I think she is ridiculously fabulous, I wouldn’t cringe at all [at Michelle’s outfits], if anything I would be looking for tips.”

Laura opted for bright colours when styling presenter Lucy Kennedy. She was dressed in a pink jumpsuit from Umit Kutluk, a navy off shoulder look created by Pheonix V Ireland and she was dressed in Mint Velvet for auditions.

The pair had a great relationship on the show, Lucy along with Jason Byrne took to Instagram to praise Laura’s taste and style. “I would have spent a lot of time with Lucy, I would have been side of stage for her all the time so when she came off I’d always be fussing at her and picking at her, she was like Cinderella.'

'She’s such a lovely person, what I found at the side of stage is when Lucy would come off we would be kind of pottering and chatting, I think it’s just such an exciting experience to work with people in such close contact and you get to see their process and how they do what they do. And that sort of unique Irish sense of humour was so prevalent throughout the whole show.”

And of course, we can’t forget about the main man himself, Louis Walsh. With plenty of experience in the reality TV industry, Louis stayed cool, calmed and collected with a smile on his face at all times.

“Louis Walsh is one of the funniest people I’ve met. Every time I was dressing him, I would be fixing his dickey bow and he’d go- I can’t believe you’re from Wexford, he just couldn’t get over it, it was so funny.'

'I tried explain to him that there wasn't much of a fashion industry in Wexford and that people do have to move from the country side, we had great fun.” “Louis has been working on shows that big for so many years that its second nature, he’s quite chilled and relaxed. He would always come in with a big smile on his face. We had a right laugh, we really did.'

Leanne Woodfull has been arguably Ireland's most vocal influencer when it comes to the referendum to repeal the 8th amendment.

The blogger, who began her website Thunder and Threads in 2009, has called out other influencers on a number of occasions for refusing to touch on the subject.

In a recent Instagram story, Leanne once again drew attention to the issue, saying:

Instagram / Leanne Woodfull

'History is being made as we speak. The information is out there.'

'There's absolutely 0 excuse to not acknowledge Repeal the 8th or to encourage people to go out and vote – except, if you prioritise ego, money and following. '

'Inform them. Be on the right side of history. One month left. Use your voice.'

A post shared by Leanne Woodfull (@leannewoodfull) on

Leanne has spoken at length regarding her feelings about Irish influencers not promoting political change on their platforms.

Her encouragement has often been met with a mix of approval and disapproval – with some feeling that bloggers should not be forced to put their name to a side of the debate if they don't wish to.

'The silence from my peers in the blogging and social media world confuses and upsets me daily,' she penned previously, in an open letter to Irish bloggers published on her website.

A post shared by Leanne Woodfull (@leannewoodfull) on

'We have each worked hard on and attracted influential online platforms, that people venture to to hear our words, thoughts and recommendations.'

'Somehow, human rights and tragedy don't fit into those platforms though for the majority – despite the influence to help and educate at hand.'

'Today's youth look at bloggers and social media influencers quicker than they do television celebrities or pop stars. We have a bigger clout at our disposal, yet it goes to waste. Every single day.'

'I have no respect for your silence.'
