Serena Williams has always doubled as an activist as well as an athlete.

Speaking up for women of colour, working mothers, and fierce females all over the world, the tennis superstar has a moving message to share.

The strong athlete released a chilling video in support of breast cancer victims and to raise awareness.

The camera opens on the gorgeous mum’s face, close-up and singing her own version of I Touch Myself into the camera.

It then zooms out to reveal Serena standing topless, holding her breasts with each hand and covering them from view.

“Yes, this put me out of my comfort zone, but I wanted to do it because it’s an issue that affects all women of all colours, all around the world.

“Early detection is key – it saves so many lives. I just hope this helps to remind women of that.”

She chose the The Divinyls hit to honour the death of celebrated diva, Chrissy Amphlett, who passed away from breast cancer.

As part of the I Touch Myself project, Serena said that Chrissy “gave us her hit song to remind women to put their health first.”

The project is led by Breast Cancer Network Australia and it continues to support breast cancer victims all around the world.

The mum’s powerful rendition reminds women how important it is to check themselves as regularly as they can.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK and effects one out of every eight women, according to Breast Cancer Care.

And is inspiring to see a major influencer for women like Serena using her position to make an impact in stopping the devastating disease.

Tom Brady’s daughter is a total daddy's girl and we love it!

Little Vivian couldn’t be prouder of her father, the quarterback for the NFL Patriots.

Last year, he led the New England team to victory in the biggest US football showdown of all time – the 2017 Superbowl.

And this year, she has no doubt that her dad will do it all again as she cheers him on from the sidelines.

Her mum, supermodel Gisele Bündchen, shared the sweetest photo of the father-daughter duo on Instagram.

Dressed in his football uniform, the father takes a knee to be at eye-level with his little girl.

The two are smiling at each other, head-to-head, as she passes on some good luck vibes to her dad.

“When they say little girls own their daddies. It’s true!!” her mum captioned the picture.

Vivian looks adorable in her pink My Little Pony dress, and long blonde hair, which she definitely gets from her mum.

But her smile is identical to her father’s, showing off all her pearly whites in the moment of pure happiness.

As a reality television star, author, and fantastic family man, Vogue didn’t think her hubby could have any other skills to show off.

That was until he made it to the final round of Celebrity Masterchef.

The Irish model said that Spencer is “annoyingly” good at everything he tries and he knows it, reported The Independent.

Spencer is “competitive [and] loud. The most self-confident person I’ve ever met in my life,” the model told the newspaper.

“But also the nicest person I’ve ever met in my life. Annoyingly he is really good at everything.”

The two recently welcomed a baby boy together named Theodore.

And since then, it seems the competition has been on between the two more than ever.

Vogue's comments about Spencer are so relatable but we all know we adore a confident man as well.

It is just one of those things we love and hate at the same time, with love winning out more so in the end.

Microwaves are our best friend and our worst enemy. Handy to reheat some leftovers, it is also said to strip food from its nutrients so should be used sparingly. 

Yet, this noisy, often ugly and space consuming appliance can help busy girls save some precious time in the kitchen. 

*Warning: these hacks are not for purists, just an easy to cut down some cooking time when you are in a rush.

1. Scrambled eggs

To make scrambled eggs for one, break two eggs in a small heatproof bowl, whisk, add a dash of milk, then microwave for 1 minute. Scramble, then if there are raw bits left, microwave for 30 more seconds. Scramble one last time, add a small knob of butter and enjoy!

2. Caramel sauce

Place a tablespoon of butter in a small bowl and microwave on high power for 30 seconds or until melted. Add 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of cream, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine, and microwave for about 30 seconds. Stir again and finally microwave for 20 seconds. Stir and serve or store in a jar in the fridge.

3. Mug cakes

This one is already quite famous but let's not forget that one of the best uses of a microwave (or so we believe) is to deliver some super tasty cakes in about a minute, with only a few simple ingredients.

4. Bacon

Now this one might be a bit controversial, but the microwave can be a hassle-free option to cook your bacon.

Lay two paper towels on the plate, then spread the bacon out in a single layer and lay another paper towel over the top. Cook on high power for about 5 minutes to get a nicely crispy rasher. 

5. Bring honey back to life

When your honey is cristallised, you can bring it back to a liquid state if you carefully microwave it.

Using burst of 30 seconds, place in the microwave on medium power and microwave until the honey is nice and melted. Be careful when removing it from the microwave though as the container might be very hot.

6. Baked potatoes

Save LOADS of time by "baking" your potatoes in the microwave.

Scrub the potato and prick several time with a fork. Place on a plate and cook on high power for 5 minutes. Turn over and cook for a further 5 minutes.

When the potato is soft, remove from the microwave, cut in half and add desired toppings (cream, cheese, bacon, herbs…).

It appears that Chrissy wants to ensure her daughter learns a well-rounded set of skills outside of traditional gender roles.

And we are loving it! Luna seems to be having the best time.

She furrows her brow in concentration, preparing the materials for her mother who screws in one of the walls into their place.

“An idea weekend honestly”, Chrissy captioned the activity.

17-year-old Cian Jones has been missing since the 25th of September. He was last seen on Eden Quay, Dublin 1.

The teenager is described as being 5’ 11” and of slim build with blue eyes. It is not known what Cian was wearing when last seen.

The American Woman star was proud of her son for telling the truth and opened up about her choice to adhere to strictly vegan meals at home.

The mum said that she’s explained to Bear about where meat comes from and taken him on farm trips, but she's always made sure he makes his own choices.

Up until this point, the seven-year-old has only eaten vegan by default, she said, because that is the type of groceries she buys.

16-year-old Ermir Dragjoshi has been reported missing since the 25th of September.

Ermir, who is originally from Albania, was last seen in Templeogue, Dublin 6 at approximately 10.15pm on Tuesday. 

The young teenager is described as being six feet tall and of slim build. He has low-cut, tight black hair, brown eyes, pale complexion, and may have light facial hair growth.

“Kimberly put this girl in something appropriate for once,” fired one parent.
