Queen of pop Mariah Carey has hinted at the possibility of new music with a St. Patrick's Day themed Instagram post.

The picture shows the singer in a recording studio which had been decked out in green balloons, along with the caption: "Pon de studio. Happy St. Patrick's Day!"

It's thought Mariah is  currently recording material for her 15th studio album. If this is the case, the new album will be her first release since 2014's Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse.

Irish TV presenter Vogue Williams has announced she is expecting her first child with fiancé Spencer Matthews.

The happy couple confirmed the exciting news in an interview with HELLO! magazine just one month after revealing they were engaged to be married.

Taking to Instagram this morning, Vogue shared a snap from the exclusive photoshoot, writing: "I couldn’t be more delighted to announce that we are expecting our first baby! Being with you @spencermatthews is the best thing that has ever happened to me, you are the dream."

Vogue, who is four months along, told HELLO! that the pair did the test together while on holiday in the South of France over Christmas.

"I think we were more taken aback by how quickly it had worked, as opposed to the fact we’re having a kid. Because we had already begun to try," says Spencer.

"So I just considered myself the luckiest man in the world when we got the baby news. We were heading down that matrimonial road anyway, so now we feel doubly blessed."

Rose brown works on pretty much any shade of brunette, and can even be achieved with minimal or no bleaching.

Thi Thao Tu, the hair stylist behind the look, told Allure that he uses a combination of bleach mixed with Olaplex treatment, and red and brown dyes.

The pink tones can be applied in a balayage style or as an all over colour and is the perfect way to give your tresses a little lift just in time for summer.

Yes! This week is all about the revival of the cult '90s TV show. Just as we're getting ready to welcome Sabrina the Teenage Witch back to our screens in a Netflix reboot, a modern re-work of a similarly beloved show is also (maybe) about to return.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, US network Nickelodeon is in "early discussions" to bring back the famed TV series with original star Melissa Joan Hart. Imagine!

Happily, Melissa would reprise her role as Clarissa Darling, but according to the report, the new show would make Clarissa the mother of a what we presume is children as sassy as she was back in the day.

The original Clarissa Explains It All aired between 1991-1994, then went into reruns for what was essentially the whole of the '90s (similar to friends but without quite the same staying power).

Hart herself previously hinted at a Clarissa reboot in an interview with Us Weekly. “There is some talk about Clarissa,” she said, “so we’ll see which way that goes."

She went on to say how much her character had meant to her, as the series hit its 25th anniversary.  Clarissa taught me a lot," Hart told Variety in 2016. "If she could stand up to a bully or date the bully, break boundaries and stand up for what she believed in and be smart, sassy and likeable, then I could be those things too."

The series launched Joan Hart's career. She even called her 2013 memoir Melissa Explains It All, so she obviously still has some strong nostalgia tied to working on the series.

And there's good reason to think that will actually go past the talking phase; in 2015, show creator Mitchell Kriegman wrote a novel called Things I Can't Explain, which followed a twenty-something Clarissa as she navigated life as an adult, so there would be at least some source material there as a jumping point.

Let it happen!

Ireland have been crowned Six Nations champions after they took down England in today's nail-biting final at Twickenham Stadium.

In a thrilling match, Ireland dominated England, with a final score of 15-24.

Ireland were already poised to take home The Six Nations title, but have nabbed both The Six Nations cup and The Grand Slam accolade.

Ireland quickly took the lead, and were 14-0 to England after the first 30 minutes.

The game was peppered with penalties, and saw Peter O'Mahony take home a Yellow Card.

England's valiant attempts at clawing back the game came to fruition when they scored their first try 33 minutes in, but their best wasn't good enough against the Irish.

21-year-old Jacob Stockdale secured a cheeky (and record-breaking) try in the first minute of over-time for the first half, which was turned into a stunning conversion by Joey Carbery, bringing the score to 5-21 to Ireland coming in to the second half.

England pushed to take the game back in the second half, but as renditions of The Fields of Athenry boomed from the stands, England's haphazard handling of the ball kept them from maintaining possession in the first 10 minutes of the second half, along with Irish offences' relentless strength.

The second half was an immense power struggle, as England tried and tried and tried again to get an advantage over the Irish squad.

Bundee Aki was swapped out for Jordan Larmour in the last 20 minutes due to injury after catching his head in the wrong position in a tackle as the snow picked up its intensity, but was able to walk himself off the pitch.

Exactly 60 minutes in, Conor Murray scored the first three points of the second half with a beautiful kick, bringing Ireland to 24 points, but mere minutes later, England pushed back with a neat try, raising their score for the game to 10 and regaining possession.

Keith Earls was the next Irish team member to leave the pitch, after suffering a leg injury, and Kieran Marmion takes to the pitch to finish the match.

England tried to regain control with a series of strong attempts at breaking through the Irish defence (including that last try) from but the match was won.

Man of the Match went to Tadhg Furlong.

We need a drink after that one…

Hi, my name is Katie and I’m caught in a love triangle.

My loves are so different. One is unfailingly polite, usually wears plaid shirts, drinks maple syrup by the gallon and is a major hockey enthusiast. The other is a mischievous drunk, mad for a bit of craic, a lovable, musical rogue.

One is Canada and the other is Ireland.

Lemme explain – I was born in the mid-nineties to two Irish parents in Toronto, Canada.

My first memories are all Canada based- our first house, meeting my little sister for the first time, etc. When we made the move back to Meath I apparently had a little Canadian accent. Yeah, I was hella cute.

When I began to grow bored of the countryside, I would ask why in the name of god they left one of the most exciting, multicultural cities in the world and leave me in Meath of all places. Meath!

If ‘Being Irish’ and I were in a relationship on Facebook it would be ‘It’s complicated’.

I couldn’t wait to go back to mother-mapel land. So when my chance came to study abroad in third year I jumped at it, signing on for anywhere in Canada without a second thought.

I got University of Waterloo, a large engineering university in a medium sized city two hours outside of Toronto.

I learned a lot in that year, and barely any of it academic. I learned a lot about being Irish, or not as Irish as I thought I was.

There’s a certain amount of preconceptions that follow you as an Irish(ish) abroad. Let me give you a bit of a list:

Everyone expects you to be super Catholic. Yes of course I’m devotee, Susan, that’s why I’m chatting to you in a grimy nightclub, wearing a crop top and smuggling a hip flask.

They expect you to come from a thatched roof cottage surrounded by sheep. I once got asked if we have internet in Ireland. Yes, Brad, yes we do.

One that never fails to rail any Irish person up is when they assume we’re part of England.

WE ARE A SEPARATE COUNTRY, KAREN, SIT DOWN!

Everyone expects you to be a walking encyclopaedia of Irish ancestry. I briefly considered carrying around Shamrock stickers with me to give to anyone calling themselves “Irish”

Awh your great-grandad’s second cousin’s wife’s dog was from Cork? That’s cute, Jeffery, here have a sticker.

And of course, the Irish reputation for drinking

No, Janet, it’s 10am on a Tuesday, I’m not drunk you uneducated buffoon.

Let’s just park it up here for a second and talk about our drinking reputation.

It proceeds us, it follows us, and frankly it makes a fool of us. I am all for a few pints and a bit of craic but being constantly reminded that we are a nation of ‘drunks’ really got to me.

In my experience, other nations (I’m looking at you Brits and Australians) are just as bad for the auld binge-drinking, we just happened to build our culture around it.

Literally, there’s at least one Irish pub in every city and big town in the world. I found it weird to be in a pub that called itself Irish and there being literally nothing Irish about it apart from a few Guinness signs and ‘Paddy’s’ put in front of every second menu item.

I accepted my fate and got a job in an Irish bar. Not gonna lie, I played the accent up for tips. It felt weird, like I was putting on a show.

The non-Irishness of Irish bars pale in comparison to this specific drink. It’s called the Irish Car Bomb. It’s a Guinness with a shot of whiskey and Baileys.

I once clarified how offensive it was to me by likening it walking into a kebab shop and ordering an Isis Doner.

I found myself constantly explaining that Ireland isn’t all potatoes and starving peasants.

But that got me thinking. What exactly is Irishness? What do you get when you strip away the shamrocks, the pints and the “Pog Mo Thoin” t-shirts?

What does it actually mean to be Irish in 2018? It’s something that been defined and redefined constantly.

Emigration is something that has long been part of being Irish. There’s not one Irish family that doesn’t have cousins in Australia or an aunt in the U.S. Leaving and defining ourselves abroad is something that we’re used to- it’s been bet into our existence through centuries of poverty and oppression.

Since the early 2000's with the arrival of immigrants from Eastern Europe and elsewhere, along with a greater awareness of the world outside our tiny island, we suddenly had to look at ourselves and question the foundations that Ireland is built on.

And we should question it; question why our direct provision and immigration laws are so outdated in an increasingly globalized world, question why so many children are homeless, question why the Catholic church runs 90% of our primary schools.

Question why I’m treated like a second class citizen in my own country.

In Canada I can turn up at any clinic with my healthcare card and ask for a medical procedure that would get me jailed for 14 years in Ireland.

But it’s home, and I refuse to give up on it just yet. I’m proud to be Irish. I’m proud to see how far we’ve come for equality and acceptance in such a short space of time.

I’m proud of our rich culture and world-class literature. I just wish there could be more of an urge to grow as country, to accept our flaws and change them for the better.

Ireland’s not perfect, Canada’s not perfect. But I love them both.

Like I said, it’s complicated.
