We all know Trinners are winners, but they might not be for much longer following the publishing of the QS World University Rankings 2016/ 2017.

Falling a staggering 20 places, Trinity College has slipped to 98th place in the World University Ranking meaning it's just two positions away from no longer being included in the world's top 100 universities.

And it's not just TCD who has found itself slipping down the scale this academic year as UCD dropped 22 places leaving it at number 176 while UCC has fallen 50 places and DCU has dropped seven.

It's not all bad news for students studying in this country, however.

Flying the flag for Irish universities in the rankings which rate third-level institutions on academic reputation, employer reputation, student to faculty ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio and international studio ratio, NUI Galway has made its way into the top 250 – a leap from its 287th place in 2012.

Let's just focus on that one right now, shall we?

Jodie Marsh is done with MEN.

The former model has revealed that after her last divorce, she not only never wants to date guys again, she never wants to marry again either.

Jodie ended her marriage to James Placido after only eight months last year, and as far as we know, it was messy.

While she hasn't given details of the break-up yet, she did indicate in a previous interview that the police had to get involved.

And when it comes to moving on, Jodie believes she'll never fall into the marriage trap again.

"I'm not against having another relationship, but at the moment the people I fancy are women and I am only sexually attracted to women," she told the Daily Star.

"I will never get married again. It was the worst mistake of my life," she added.

Well, we didn't really expect this.

Nicky Byrne is known to have a passion for football, having played on teams when he was younger, but now, it looks like he's going to take another stab at it.

The radio presenter joined Baldoyle Grange United, and even won his first match last weekend, despite of the rain.

Nicky took to Twitter to tell his fans the good news:

He wrote: "Deal done on deadline day. I've just signed for Baldoyle Grange United. Great to return to my roots!"

The former Westlife singer even shared a video of his first match:

Fair play, Nicky!

For every unrealistic body goal social media sends our way – ab crack, we're looking at you – we're thankfully met with another which reminds us that women are, despite what modern society may have you believe, proud to boast features you won't find on Parisian runways or Vogue covers.

Started by 22-year-old Mixo and latched onto by hundreds of other women, the #ThighsForJeaux hashtag is gaining momentum with every passing day, and frankly we're all over it.

Mixo, who began the tag in 2015 but ultimately saw it take off this week after the original photo resurfaced online, explained that she began the trend in order to empower women and challenge beauty ideals.

"What made me start it was a hot day. I was on Twitter that day speaking about how impossible it is to not wear as little as possible for the sake of comfort," she remembered.

"I remembered that a lot of people don’t get to enjoy being comfortable on a summer day because of insecurities and the risk of harassment, which is what I face on a daily basis," Mixo continued.

"So I just decided that #ThighsForJeaux could be a form of protest and affirmation," she said. "I think people just resonated with it and decided to participate."

She's spot-on with that one as Twitter is currently awash with images of women showcasing their curves and displaying their – as our gal Chrissy Teigen so gloriously calls them – stretchies.

Check this out.

Sarah Harding has walked away from her performance in Ghost for a while, just days after its debut in London.

The former Girls Aloud star was unfortunately slated by Ghost fans over the past number of days, but that's not why Sarah is holding back.

Coming soon… #ghost the #musical on #tour

According to The Mirror, the singer is sick and needs to rest…

"Sarah went to see the doctor today who diagnosed an upper respiratory tract infection," her spokesperson said.

"She's been really pushing herself over the past three weeks, rehearsing solidly for the show and making sure her performance is perfect.

"Fans of Sarah will know that she is a true grafter and that she always pushes herself to the absolute limit, but it's all caught up with her. She still has three months of nightly performances to get through, and she's dead set on giving it her absolute all."

We'll just have to wait to see what happens!

When the prospect of getting yourself and the rest of your class an automatic 100 per cent on a college exam presents itself, you can be damn sure most of us would bend over backwards to nab that mark.

And one guy who actually managed it without having to open a book is currently going viral online.

After being told that his chemistry professor at Ohio State University would award the entire class top marks if a student slam-dunked a paper ball into a bin, Rachel Brown's classmate stepped up to the plate… and secured himself a place in the hearts of every college student ever.

Sharing the memorable moment online, Rachel wrote: "S/o to Benny for making this shot and getting the entire lecture an automatic 100 on our first ochem quiz."

The post has been liked more than 200,000 times since its upload on Friday, and it looks like we have a new superhero in our midst.

It's fierce heavy out there today. Met Éireann are politely calling it "warm and humid" (they're not wrong) – and there's also been a load of mist along the south coast.

And while temperatures will hover around the low-to-mid 20s (that'll do nicely, September; that'll do), it's the CRAZY humidity that really caught our eye.

Yup – in short there is about zero point in attempting to do anything with your gruaige until at least Thursday.

Spare a particular thought for Cork: there, humidity has hit a MAD 98 percent. Waterford came in at 94 percent, with Galway hovering around the 90 percent mark.

Dublin gets off lightly with a mere 77 percent humidity. Limerick and Belfast notch up an 88 percent and an 82 percent respectively.

As for sleeping tonight, you won't be getting much of it. Met Éireann warn: "Tuesday night will be another close and humid night with widespread mist and with patches of drizzle and fog also."

When Kim Kardashian decided to post a naked selfie earlier this year, she knew she'd light a fire under fellow celebrities, and now it sounds like Chloe Moretz regrets taking the bait.

Calling Kim out on her decision to go naked online, the Kick- Ass actress, who recently split with Brooklyn Beckham, wrote: "I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women."

"Teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies," she added.

When you're like I have nothing to wear LOL

Furious over the suggestion her wasn't using her role in the public eye appropriately, Kim hit back, writing: "Let's all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is. …"

And the spat didn't end there.

When the Kimye/Tay Tay saga was all anybody could talk about, Chloe begged for a little perspective, tweeting: "Everyone in this industry needs to get their heads out of a hole and look around to realise what's ACTUALLY happening in the REAL world,"

And we all know how Kim's sister Khloe responded to that particular dig…

With the benefit of hindsight, Chloe has decided, according to Glamour, that she wasted her time offering her opinion on Kim's exploits, saying: "I think I gave my attention to people that didn't deserve my attention."

"So in some ways I think I regret giving them the attention, though I don't regret what I said," she said recently.

Taking her inspiration from a presidential candidate, Chloe added: "But also I realised that being the most opinionated and loud person in the room is not always the most impactful. I learned that from Hillary Clinton."

"It's great to be feisty,' those were Hillary Clinton's exact words," Chloe explained. "But sometimes the smartest way to get into the psyche of people is to be the quietest person in the room."

"Let everyone else bicker and throw their words around and then you come in with the quiet voice and that will be the most impactful." 19-year-old Chloe advised.

Sounds legit to us.

When red carpet style is done right, it can set the whole tone for the evening.

Classy, relaxed and glamorous are all words we think of when it comes to red carpet style, however, the only words that are springing to our minds after last night's TV Choice Awards are ill-fitting, and dodgy.

Don't get us wrong, we think that everyone can wear what they want to, but if it was a stylist's job to make the stars look their absolute best, something went very wrong here:

Fearne Cotton

Ferne is totally breaking our hearts here. She's a celeb we look up to for rock'n'roll glamour, but this dress just looked a bit… off.

Between the baby pink top dress that just hangs, to the tight cerise dress underneath… It's a no from us.

Georgia Kousoulou

We're getting serious Cinderella-gone-wrong vibes from Georgia here. The royal blue dress is in a mass of wrinkles and cuts her in all the wrong places.

She has a gorgeous body, and we think this dress is totally hiding it. And big wedges? Really?!

Faye Brookes

The Coronation Street star left little to the imagination here. Now, don't get us wrong, it isn't the worst outfit, but between a thigh-high split, a plunging neckline and a bare midriff, it's too exposed for us.

We're feeling chilly just looking at her!

But, along with every bad outfit, there's a good outfit, and here's some we loved last night.

Stephanie Pratt

Stephanie kept it simple and classy with an embellished soft yellow dress. With just the right amount of sparkle, and not too much on show, we're loving her look.

And brownie points for her make-up, too. We adore the dewy look!

Katie Price

We know, we know. With her past dodgy outfits, Katie usually ends up on the other list, but we have to say, she happily surprised us last night.

Covering up what she usually shows off, Katie wore a backless white evening dress, and put her hair up in a gorgeous messy bun. Kudos, we like this look.

Ferne McCann

We love some sparkles here in SHEmazing! HQ, and Ferne's dress was FULL of them.

The former I'm A Celeb contestant wore strappy heels with her thigh-high split dress and kept her make-up and hair simple. We think she looks great!

It looks like Rita Ora's most recent performance has catapulted her from mainstream popstar to music icon if the internet's response to her recent rendition of What Child Is This is anything to go by.

Rita, who like Mother Teresa was born to a Kosovar-Albanian family, was given the honour of performing ahead of Mother Teresa's canonisation at the Papal Basilica of St Paul, and it sounds like the public are beyond impressed.

Taking to Instagram to honour the milestone moment this weekend, Rita wrote: "I am honored to have been invited, to fulfill the role as an ambassador to Kosovo, to sing at the canonization of Mother Teresa."

"Singing What Child Is This to celebrate her life and legacy will be a moment I cherish forever." she added alongside a still of the stunning moment.

"Tonight on the eve of the canonisation of Mother Teresa, we, the daughters and sons by blood and soul, are here to honour and express our gratitude to her outstanding life and work dedicated to the poorest people of the world," she said ahead of the performance.

Responding to her post online, Instagram user flooded the singer's page with praise, with one writing:"Was actually just watching you performance on the canonisation for mother Teresa and surprisingly I landed up crying,"

"You were breathtaking," added another while a fellow follower remarked: "It was a beautiful performance! And you looked amazing basking under the rays of a saint."

There are some things you're guaranteed to leave Electric Picnic with; a raging hangover, a serious dose of the fear, and many, many wonderful memories.

And then there are some things you just can't be sure you'll return home with; phones, purses and other personal essentials, to name a few.

Thankfully, for anyone who is currently lamenting the loss of their favourite bag or inflatable chair, the good folk behind the super-popular Stradbally music festival have created a lost property page for revellers who want to be reunited with their personal possessions.

"We will look into all lost property requests, however due to the volume of requests we will only be able to respond to those whose items have been found," they explained on their website.

While highlighting the feature on their own Twitter page, the Gardaí reminded the public that they will be holding a lost property day on Saturday September 10th from 9am to 9pm.

Don't panic ladies, not all is officially lost.

We all know Demi Lovato is no stranger to the odd tattoo, in fact, the brunette beauty has about 14 of them.

And if her latest Snapchat videos are anything to go by, she's not going to stop anytime soon.

The singer took to the social media site to share clips of her getting inked, and used the dog and deer filters to make everything a little bit cuter.

Demi then took to Instagram to show off her new tattoo on her arm.

Above her tattoo that says 'Stay' (which she's had for years now) are two roses going up her arm.

In the SC videos, it looks like the former Disney star also got inked on her back, but that tattoo is yet to be revealed.
