With Hollywood’s hottest women all boasting gluten-free diets, it sure does seem like there is method to their madness.

We’re talking Zooey Deschanel, Miley Cyrus, Victoria Beckham and Gwyneth Paltrow, to name but a few.

Sure, we would all love to look like them but when the other option is eating a big bowl of spaghetti Bolognese and a slab of garlic bread… is giving it all up really worth it?

Thankfully, we now no longer have to make that choice.

Pasta with benefits’ has just been launched by the family-owned company, Leaves.

The company is run by husband and wife, Nico Oliveri and Sabine Hobbel. Sabine is a Dutch elite athlete and health researcher and her husband is an Italian chef who was determined to find a suitable pasta alternative after he discovered he had a wheat intolerance.

And their answer was the world’s first pasta with benefits. Made of entirely chickpeas and buckwheat, it contains 50 percent more protein and three times more fibre than regular pasta.

It is also the only pasta in the world that can provide all the essential amino-acids as well as being high in 10 key minerals and vitamins.

Finally, a pasta that we can enjoy and not feel guilty (or bloated) about afterwards.

It can be purchased online or in select Supervalu and specialty stores throughout the country.

Sinead O’Connor is the latest person to speak out about her unhappiness that Kim Kardashian featured on this month’s cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

As we previously reported, a lot of people were deeply disappointed that the legendary magazine chose to give their most iconic and coveted spot to the reality TV star.

But it would appear that Ms O’Connor is the most displeased of the bunch.

Taking to Facebook once again, the Irish singer asked, “What is this c*** doing on the cover of Rolling Stone?”

“Music has officially died,” she stated.

Similarly to the cover itself, Sinead’s post has garnered mixed reviews. While many seem to agree with her that Rolling Stone have let themselves and their fans down by putting Kimmy K on the cover, others don’t find it that surprising and think that the magazine regularly do features on people like her.

One Facebook user wrote, “It’s a pop magazine, I love you Sinead but Rolling Stone does not define good music or taste. Don’t give them so much credit. Every now and then they do something good, but in general, it’s always been what’s popular.”

Over the weekend, the 29-year-old Sports Illustrated model shared a host of the professional photos from her new book.

And we can tell you that this is going to be a cookbook like no other. Ms Teigen, who is married to singer John Legend, has gotten seriously sexy in her latest shoot to promote her cooking.

While Chrissy used most of her captions to explain what food was being photographed, she also had some funny captions to go along with her sexy snaps.

In a photo that shows the TV personality leaning over a bowl of baked seafood, she wrote “my clams”.

It also appears that Chrissy has decided to obey the rules of Instagram (at least for this shoot) as she decided not to #FreeTheNipple and keep the covered up. Maybe in the interest of health and safety she thought keeping her clothes on would be a better idea!

This morning when Thalia Heffernan walked the catwalk for the Brown Thomas’ Autumn/Winter ’15 collection, no one could tell that she has suffered a violent attack just hours earlier.

The stunning 20-year-old took to Facebook to write an emotional message calling out her attackers and describing the stress that she is understandably still feeling from the incident.

“To the horrible girl who hit me in the face and robbed my bag this morning,” the post began. “To the guy who helped her, and to their thieving little friends for watching.”

Ms Heffernan explained how the group of teenagers hit her repeatedly in the face and shoved her in an attempt to take her handbag.

“What’s worse is that there was nothing I could do to even attempt to defend myself, despite screaming and crying after them,” Thalia revealed.

The Irish beauty, who is a known athletics fiend, felt helpless as the gang of youths attacked her.

She has released a further update, saying that the Gardai are investigating the incident and that she is assisting them in every way possible. She explained how “The most important thing now… is getting these kids off the streets so parents, brothers and sisters don’t have to worry about their loved ones being harassed, robbed or worse.”

Thalia also revealed that the police have since found her handbag in the Cuffe Street flats in Dublin City Centre but that it was emptied of all her belongings.

Ms Heffernan ended her post saying that she hopes she can assist the Gardai in catching the culprits and holding them responsible for what they have done to her and, no doubt, countless of others.

It was only yesterday that Zayn Malik shocked the world by releasing a bunch of tweets slamming his former music producer and friend, Naughty Boy.

Since then, it has been reported that the 22-year-old has reached out to his former One Direction bandmates to try and reconcile their differences.

According to HollywoodLife.com, Zayn has reached out to the boys after realising that they are the ones who really have his best interests at heart.

An insider revealed that “Zayn has spoken to Louis Tomlinson, 23, and the 1D boys in the past few weeks after realising more and more that Naughty Boy was only out for himself. “

While Zayn has no current desire to return to the band professionally, he is eager to mend his relationship with the remaining four members.

The singer, who is engaged to Perrie Edward’s, has reportedly even apologised to Louis for everything that happened and for their Twitter feud. The source explained that “Zayn wanted to reach out and make sure they all knew he was still their brother.”

It has also been reported that he has ditched Naughty Boy in favour of music producer Sarah Stennett. So it certainly looks like Zayn is totally done with the 30-year-old musician, both professionally and personally.

It is looking as if Made in Chelsea couple Stephanie Pratt and Josh Shepherd may have split up. At least that’s what their social media suggests.

The pair haven’t been seen together in weeks and they have also deleted all traces of each other from their Instagram and Twitter pages.

Steph and Josh are two of the MIC members who are currently filming the new summer series in Los Angeles. And while nothing is confirmed and the pair might simply be off enjoying themselves on holidays, there are a few BIG tell-tale signs that leads us to believe that they have split.

Firstly, Steph has been hanging out with fellow cast member, Lucy Watson. While the two used to be BFFs they then fell out because Lucy didn’t get along with Josh.

However, since they’ve been in LA, the girls have been inseparable – which we can’t imagine Josh is too delighted about.

Steph also shared a photo of her and Lucy and captioned it, “Sorry a crazy boy came between us 🙁 love you bub. Never again.”

She also said, “Living and learning and I still am. I love you @imLucyWatson sorry I was #sleepingwiththeeneymy.” And somehow we don’t think she’s talking about Spencer!

What’s more, the couple have unfollowed each other on Twitter. Now, if that’s not a sign of a breakup we don’t know what is.

Whatever is going on with Steph, we are just PRAYING that she has patched things up with her brother so as that Speidi can make their first MIC appearance!

Us Irish ladies know our stuff when it comes to fake tan, so St Tropez definitely perked our ears when they launched a brand new and VERY interesting product last month.

The St Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion is the first gradual tanner of its kind, as it is made to be applied in the shower rather than onto dry skin. Nope, this is not a drastically late April Fools' Joke, this is the real deal. 

So how does it work?
According to the folks at St Tropez, you simply wash as usual in the shower, exfoliate if needed, then step out of the flow of the water and lather the (non-tinted) lotion all over your body. Wait three minutes and then rinse off with water only. Your tan will then gradually develop over the rest of the day, leaving you with a warm golden glow.

Why is it any better than normal tan?
If this product does what's promised, it will save us the hassle of stinky sheets and PJs, stained towels and all the other joys that come with overnight tan… WIN.

Is it any good?
The reviews so far have been extremely mixed, but in general positive. Beauty vlogger Laura Black said she saw a very natural looking golden glow, but that came after 5 consecutive days of use, so this is not one to try the day of a big event. She also praised the lotion for giving her a totally streak free tan.

However another reviewer on the Boots site called the new product a "joke", adding, "I have been using this product every day for the past four days, and can see very little difference, I even take a timer into the bathroom so I get it right in fact I have nearly used the whole tube…I wont be using it again."

One reviewer on Amazon noted that the lotion dries very quickly – there's no "stickiness" after the shower and you can get dressed straight away.

While the lotion is touted as a daytime tanner, many reviewers complained about the strong smell that clung to their skin for the day, so you may prefer to use it at night and shower again in the morning. 

As for value for money, if you plan on using this every day, you'll be shelling out for another bottle in a week's time, so it's not exactly a bargain.

The verdict?
A great idea, but more of an everyday product than one for a night out of special occasion… and the price is a bit off-putting.

Over the last four days if you were online shopping you may have come across this gem.

Adverts.ie user Hurley21 is offering up a “lifetime VIP membership to the holy grail of the Irish nightclubbing scene”.

Yes, you read that correctly, this generous man is offering up his CopperFace Jacks Gold Card.

Well, generous might be a bit of an over statement. The asking price for the card is set at €250. A bargain, he assures us.

In case you ever wondered what these coveted memberships mean, he sums it up quite nicely in his ad:

“This rare piece of card allows you and one friend to skip the torturous queue and gain free entry to the club at any time in the night, 7 nights a week, 364 days a year.”

We think he may be aware this his asking price seems a little steep, as he’s quick to stress that only serious regulars should make an offer.

“No silly offers, it's worth a lot more to the right person, if you go ten times before schools are back you'll have already made a return on your investment! Please don't buy unless you go every week, it would be such a waste!”

He’s right, and you know it.

Some potential shoppers have been a bit put off by the expiry date printed on the card, which reads June 2011.

No worries, master salesman that he is, Hurley21 assures us that it won’t pose a problem.

“Never happened to me in over three years, regardless of the doorman or even on the busiest nights, I would happily take the card back and give you a refund if you couldn't get in with it for whatever reason!”

No offers have been accepted just yet, but we spot one shopper placing a €2 bid.

It does seem to come out of a place of sincere good will, as Hurley21 says: “you simply cannot put a price on one of these things. I am only selling this on as I have two and don't want to be greedy anymore.”

It was just two weeks ago that Peter Andre and his new bride sparked pregnancy rumours after caressing her stomach at a red carpet event.

And a surprise wedding over the weekend has done nothing to quell them!

However, Emily MacDonagh, the stunning bride and Peter Andre’s new wife, has addressed the gossip by saying that they are not true, but that the couple are planning on having another child.

In the interview with OK! that accompanies the first photos from their wedding, Emily joked saying, “I’m sure everyone’s going to think I’m pregnant – I’m not!”

The 25-year-old continued saying, “Even my friends asked me. I always wanted to get married this year so I’m so happy.”

However, the couple have admitted that they are planning on having a second child together in the not-so-distant future.

Peter confessed that he’d “like to start straight away!” While Emily, who is a newly qualified doctor said that her work may be the reason they postpone growing their family for a little while.

“The only proviso is that I want to see how my work goes. I want to give it my best shot. If I feel like I’m progressing really well, I might leave it another year.”

The couple who have an 18-month-old daughter together, Amelia, tied the knot over the weekend in a stunning Georgian house.

Pete’s kids from his previous marriage to Katie Price were a big part of the wedding, acting as flower girl and pageboy.

In the last few years Ireland has become one of the best little hub’s for festivals in Europe.

We have music festivals, arts festivals, comedy festivals, food festivals, to name but a few. But now, there is a new festival taking over our fair Emerald Isle.

The first ever Heart of Ireland (Hi) Festival is taking place this weekend, 10th – 12th July in Mullingar.

And their objective? To make goodness cool!

The HI Festival aims to promote goodness as it is the cornerstone to success and happiness in life and they believe that it is a trait that is largely undervalued in our society.

In a display like no other, the streets of Mullingar will transform into a live 100 year timeline, starting with the 1920’s and displaying all the best traits from the past century. There is also a fancy dress competition for the best dressed so don’t be afraid to don the clothes from your favourite era.

There are a huge number of live acts as well, beginning with the Irish Chamber Orchestra on Friday 10th at 8pm in the Mullingar Arts Centre, followed by Rebecca Storm and special guest Emmet Cahill on the Saturday night.

In keeping with the festival’s unique theme, there is also pig-racing, the Flea Circus, the Armagh Rhymers, Lords of Strut, tug of war, chocolate meditation classes and loads more activities.

Earlier this year we reported that romance could be blossoming for Niall Horan and Selena Gomez, and now it seems the pair really could be a potential item.

Back in February Niall and Selena were spotted having a low-key lunch at a Nando's in London, and last Sunday they were sighted together once again in Los Angeles. This time they plumped for somewhere a little more high-end, heading to the Fig and Olive on Melrose for a cosy get together.

The pair reportedly ate inside away from the prying eyes of paparazzi, but after their meal they posed for a few photos with fans who had been waiting outside.

One onlooker confirmed to Hollywood Life that the pair were definitely "together" at the restaurant, and had not just been eating in the same place by coincidence.

It was a busy weekend for Selena, who spent her Saturday with yet another high-profile face… her ex, Justin Bieber. The pair were photographed sunning themselves on the grounds of the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills, even heading to a private cabana at one stage.

A source close to the pair says that Justin "reached out to" Selena after her break-up with Zedd, and that they have been in close contact ever since.

Do we sense a Niall-Selena-Justin love triangle in the pipeline??
