Perrie Edwards

As a nation of pale, freckly people, we can relate to the latest body positive post going viral on Insta.

Little Mix's Perrie Edwards has taken to the social media site to share a foundation-free pic of her freckles for the world to see.

'Growing up I was always insecure about the freckles on my face,' Perrie wrote.

'Over the last couple of years I’ve started to embrace them and don’t feel I need to hide them anymore.'

“Embrace your individuality. Love what you love without worrying about judgement”

Fans have been flocking to the photo to praise the singer for her honesty, as she opened up about embracing her unique looks.

'You’ve helped so many people embrace there freckles including me, your an inspiration idol role model and more and I can’t thank you enough for that,' (sic) said one.

'I have a lot of freckles on my face and I used to always cover them up but I now realise they are amazing beauty mark and u look so pretty with freckles,' said another.

Little Mix performed in Dublin last night in front of a sold out crowd.

However, one member of the band wasn't content with spending her night in Dublin snoozing in the hotel room.

Documenting her night on Instagram, Perrie Edwards made a surprise appearance at Sophies at The Dean in Dublin, and she wasn't alone.

The Little Mix member got a massive surprise when her boyfriend, Liverpool footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, turned up to see her.

Perrie was clearly not expecting Alex to show up, as she captioned one of her Instagram selfies with 'what a pleasant surprise' on her story.

Perrie shared a number of filter-heavy videos of their night at the Harcourt Street venue.

The couple enjoyed a night at the rooftop bar, and of course had to get a loved-up snap on Sophie's infamous swings.

I mean, did you even go to Sophies if you didn't get a picture on the swings?

Perrie Edwards was noticeably absent form a Little Mix's performance in Las Vegas on Saturday after she took ill overnight.

The singer was reportedly rushed to hospital after suffered from a “gastric problem,” leaving fans concerned about her well-being.

According to the Mail Online, a spokesperson for the band said: “Perrie was taken ill overnight and had to go to hospital with gastric problem."

“She saw a doctor and was sadly unable to perform.”

Although Perrie's nonappearance left a evident hole in the group's line up, the remaining members powered through with the gig.

The news came as quite a shock to fans who had admired the singer's plunging green jumpsuit when she appeared on iHeartMedia red carpet the night before.

No word yet on whether on not Perrie has been released from hospital, though we wish the star a speedy recovery.

The quartet are due to embark on a UK and Ireland tour next month, with the girls scheduled to perform in Dublin's 3Arena on November 6.

It's a known fact that the Little Mix girls take excellent care of their health and fitness, thanks to their talented dance work outs and a love of balanced eating.

However, Perrie Edwards got some hate on her Instagram lately after posting a very booty-bountiful photo to social media.

Perrie clapped back at trolls on her Instagram who claimed she photoshopped her derrier in the best possible way.

The singer shared this gorgeous holiday snap to her page this weekend.

The star, who is on holidays with boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, captioned the snap 'my boy got views.'

Some were quick to point out that her bum was looking bigger than usual, and accused her of photoshopping her curves.

Perrie soon hit back, posting a video of herself on the swing, captioning it 'for the photoshop police out there.'

The video was shot by her boyfriend, who can be heard exclaiming jokingly that her butt looks 'monstrous.'

The video clearly shows that the original image is not photoshopped, and just proves that Perrie knows her angles.

The trolls have been slain.

It's amazing to see women sharing body positive snaps of their societally deemed flaws to inspire other women to feel good about themselves, but when a celebrity does it, the message can reach so far.

Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has taken to Instagram to share a very unique image, showcasing the scar she carries down her abdomen.

The scar came from a childhood operation that Perrie underwent.

'When I was little, my oesophagus was too small, so I had to get it operated on to help me eat properly,’ Perrie previously told Now.

‘I had to have lots of operations, so that’s why I don’t want to show it.'

The singer has inspired women and girls across the globe to embrace their scars with the new post.

She has received a huge amount of praise for the post, and we have to say, it's well deserved.

Fans have been taking to Twitter in their droves to thank the star for giving them the confidence to embrace their own scars.

'HUGE THANK YOU PERRIE @LittleMix for making me comfortable enough to show off my scar on my stomach,' said one.

'I'm so tired of seeing people slut shame little mix for showing some skin when in reality they're inspiring younger girls. This is amazing,' said another.

During the week, Little Mix were hit with split rumours when Perrie Edwards shared a picture with her bandmates at the Kids Choice Awards.

However, she cropped Jesy Nelson out of the snap.

Fans began to speculate that the girls had a fight, and then rumours went flying that the band were about to split up.

But today, Jesy ended the gossip by posting a Snapchat video in Perrie's bed.

"So we just want to address the situation of the friendship between me and Perrie. Do you think I'd be lying alone in her bed if I wasn’t friends with her?" she said in the video, while Perrie giggled in the background.

Fans are now delighted and many are saying on social media that they didn't believe the hype anyway.

"There's no shade. They said they were best friends on Snapchat today anyways," one fan said on Twitter.

The girls certainly know how to end a rumour.

Most of us seen the video of what went down with Louis Tomlinson in LAX Airport earlier this week (if you didn't, check out here).

The One Direction singer was arrested after a fight broke out between him and a photographer, who was harrassing him and his girlfriend, Eleanor.

Eleanor was also swarmed by fans, which clearly made Louis mad, and all hell kinda broke loose, and now Louis will have to appear in court on March 29 to plead his case.

But, now Perrie Edwards is defending her friend, by saying "he's a really nice guy."

The singer spoke out in support of Louis during an interview with Etalk, saying: "When you watch the video, all he's doing is protecting his girlfriend like any normal guy would.

"But because he's obviously in….which was one of the biggest bands in the world, people are just going to be constantly on him which I think is unfair for him and Eleanor."

Perrie and the Little Mix girls also spoke about how they handle fame, and said they wouldn't know what to do in that situation.

The rumours have been circulating for a few weeks now, but it looks like Perrie Edwards thought it was the right time to make her new relationship Instagram-official.

The singer and Arsenal football player, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, have managed to keep their new romance on the DL, but sent Little Mix fans into a craze last week when they followed each other on their social media platforms.

Last night, Perrie shared a picture of her new fella, along with her two dogs. She simply captioned the pic with a heart-eyes emoji.

While nothing has been confirmed yet, a pictures speaks a thousand words, right?

From that infamous break-up with Zayn, to splitting up with former Skins actor, Luke Pasqualino, we hope Perrie's enjoying her new relationship.

Jesy Nelson has been keeping her love life under wraps after a well publicised split from fiancé Jake Roche in November.

However, the star has now been linked to a brand new beau, Bradley Churchill, by eagle eyed Twitter fans.

The pair were allegedly set up by Jesy's bandmate and bestie Perrie Edwards who is currently dating footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, a close friend of Bradley's.

The two couples are currently in Paris, and were spotted sight seeing at the Louvre.

The group was spotted by fans who took some selfies with the Little Mix singers, and Jesy's new squeeze Bradley uploaded a snap to Instagram.

Who knows, maybe later they will put a love lock on the Pont des Arts bridge!

No matter how much we might want to break the mould, when it comes to break-ups, we generally do the same thing over and over again.

After kissing goodbye to the latest relationship, many of us crawl beneath a duvet, eat our weight in chocolate and only re-emerge if someone mentions the word gin.

And by the sounds of things, Perrie Edwards of Little Mix fame is keen for us to break the cycle.

Commenting on the motivation behind Shout Out To My Ex, she explained that the Little Mix ladies wanted their break-up song to be empowering rather than maudlin.

"When people go through breakups, you automatically want to hear really sad songs," Perrie told E! News.

"You want to listen to Un-Break My Heart and have a little cry, get a tub of ice cream out. "We just thought, 'You know what? Women need to feel empowered," she continued.

"Everybody needs to feel empowered after a breakup and we feel like this song can relate to everyone because everybody’s had an ex."

"We have each other luckily, so we experience everything together and we’ve always got each other’s backs," she said.

In fairness, we could easily listen to Shout Out To My Ex while devouring a tub of Haagen Dazs, so technically everyone's a winner.

After spending months fielding questions over her past relationship with Zayn Malik, it looks like Perrie has thrown the press and public a signal that she has officially moved on.

The Shout Out to My Ex sent the rumour mill into overdrive this week after a source close to the singer revealed that she was growing close to England and Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

"It’s very early days between Perrie and Alex," admitted the insider before acknowledging that there's a definite spark between the pair.

“There’s certainly some chemistry there and they’ve enjoyed spending time together."

It sounds like Perrie's still feeling pretty fragile following the fall-out from her last high-profile relationship, with the source adding: "After what happened with Zayn, Perrie doesn’t want her love life to become public knowledge."

Owing to this, the new couple have made the decision to avoid certain potential pitfalls which may put the brakes on their burgeoning romance.

“Both are keen to keep the relationship on the down low, they don’t follow each other on social media as they know a connection might give the game away."

23-year-old Perrie has been spotted supporting her new boyfriend at the Arsenal stadium in recent weeks.

OK so we cannot deny the fact that many celebrities look similar (Nina Dobrev and Victoria Justice anyone?).

However, this celebrity similarity is just freakish.

Katy Perry and Little Mix member, Perrie Edwards, are literally the same person.

The discovery was made by one of Perrie's fans, when she places a picture of the two stars together, to form one perfectly symmetrical face.

The pair are virtually identical, even down to their choice of eyeshadow colours.

The post was uploaded 2 days ago, and has since been liked over 62,000 times.

Fans of the two singers have been losing it, with thousands commenting on the picture.

"This is TERRIFYING" wrote one fan, while another wrote "these two were switched at birth".
