There's trouble in Para-Spice, it looks like plans for the girlband's world tour could be derailed because of Geri Horner.

Ginger Spice is reluctant to sign up for international tour dates following the Spice Girls' sell-out 13-date tour around the UK last month.

Mel B announced that the group would take their Spice World tour to Australia in February during their final show at London's Wembley Stadium, but Geri is allegedly uncertain.

The 46-year-old infamously quit the Spice Girls in 1998 after an apparent power struggle between the members and Mel B.

The remaining members released their third and final album without Geri, despite her absence from negotiations.

Emma Bunton, Geri Horner, Mel B and Mel C, whose ages range between 43 and 46-years-old, are rumoured to have made £10 million each from the band's reunion.

An insider close to the Spice Girls spoke to The Sun, saying: “The other girls all want to take their Spice World show internationally.

“They all had so much fun and know there is massive demand outside of the UK," they added.

“Geri loved the tour but it was very hard going on her and she really feels like three nights at Wembley Stadium is the perfect high to end on."

The source also mentioned Geri's need to be close to her family;

“She doesn’t really want to be away from her kids for any long stretches and just feels like it might not be worthwhile.”

Mel B previously admitted that she'd let the news slip out prematurely, and that nobody else in the group had confirmed; “So I announced it on stage, yes, without everybody else signing off 100 percent.”

The Spice Girls reunion tour has gotten off to a rocky start, to say the least.

The iconic 1990s girl-group performed at Croke Park last Friday, and Cardiff's Principality Stadium last night, and fans are slamming the sound problems and even demanding refunds.

The band's opening gig in Dublin was plagued with sound issues, with some fans in the crowd even walking out after they were unable to hear any of the songs or the commentary in between.

After Friday's gig, Spice Girl Mel B said she hoped the sound "will be much better" at their Cardiff concert, but seemingly the audio problems remained.

Many fans took to social media to vent their disappointment, describing the sound delays and feedback as atrocious.

"How disappointing to spend money on a ticket to see The Spice Girls and the support act stole the show!," wrote one Twitter user, Kate Carr.

Jess Glynne was brought in as the support act, and apparently the sound during her set had no issue.

"The Spice Girls was so much fun however the sound was atrocious and you could not hear what they actually said! So disappointing when you pay soo much for a once in a life time opportunity," wrote another Twitter user.

Not being able to hear their favourite 90's pop icons after paying huge prices for tickets left many people upset, understandably.

The four band-members (Geri Halliwell, Mel C, Mel B and Emma Bunton) powered on with their set list of greatest hits despite the issues.

With fans paying almost €100 for tickets, it's easy to see why they became frustrated, to say the least.

Others were unhappy when Cardiff's stadium roof was bizarrely left open, allowing the rain to come in.

The girl group will continue to perform 12 more concerts in the UK, but we hope they sort these technical difficulties out. At least some fans had a brilliant time, with some describing the experience as 'phenomenal'.

The Spice Girls are heading to Manchester, Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh and Bristol and will finish their tour at London's Wembley Stadium.

It really is the year of nostalgia; Between the Spice Girls, Westlife and Carrie Bradshaw, it's clearly comeback o'clock.

News recently broke that one of the biggest legends of the early 2000s is making a musical return, with her sophomore album expecting to be released before the end of 2019.

That's right gals, it's only SAMANTHA MUMBA.

We've all got more than fond memories of tunes such as Gotta Tell You and Always Come Back To Your Love, and soon we'll be hearing brand new music from the versatile singer.

We sat down for a chat with the woman herself, and once our starstruck fever calmed down, we managed to ask her a few questions.

There have been whispers of musical comebacks for many years now, considering her first album Gotta Tell You was released back in 2000 when she was only sixteen-years-old.

While the rest of us were figuring out creative ways to abandon school for a few hours and day-dreaming of Zack Morris from Saved By The Bell, Samantha was making CHUNES.

So why choose now to release her long-awaited album number two? Samantha is a woman of many talents, trying her hand at Masterchef in 2017, as well as appearances in Dancing On Ice and on ITV's Loose Women.

“It’s been in the works for a couple of months, so for me I did Manchester Pride last summer, and I was so blown away by the response. As I was onstage I was literally like, why don’t I have any new music to perform? This is stupid, like it’s ridiculous. I’m one of those people who gets in their own way all the time. Even if I think of doing something, I’ll think of 20 reasons not to do it. I thought, ‘No, enough it enough’. I was afraid to do it again. The timing just feels good, and now I’m seeing that everyone is coming back, I thought, ‘What is going on?’ Hang on a second, I was coming back first!”

Needless to say, her fans are EXCITED.

Damn right she was. Samantha's popularity with a range of audiences and people of all ages has to be noted, but why do so many listeners seem to relate to her?

“That’s a great question, and I don’t really know the answer. It’s just one of those things, a nostalgia thing. I also think because I was so young when I started, a lot of people literally feel, and they have, like they’ve grown up with me. People have even stopped me in the street to say, ‘Oh hey, how are you?’ as if they know me. I’ve been around for a while, I think there’s that kind of connection where people have really gotten behind me, it’s like I’m a cousin of theirs. It’s that kind of thing, it’s brilliant.”

Samantha still returns home to Dublin fairly regularly, and her little daughter Sage calls it her home too. We wondered if she had stayed up to date on Ireland's current homelessness crisis?

“It’s scandalous, it’s absolutely shocking. That’s why I thought this Just Eat campaign was just such a no-brainer. I’d love if they could double what they did last year, which in itself was incredible. Even especially being home at the minute, and it’s so cold, you just think, ‘Oh my God’, it’s not right. There’s a lot of young kids that are homeless, and it’s heartbreaking. Being a mother now myself, it’s just awful. You never know what goes on in someone’s life, it can happen to anybody, you just never know what kind of bad things could come somebody’s way. It can happen to everybody, and everybody should chip in," she says.

She's partnered up with Just Eat this year for their annual National Takeaway Tuesday to raise funds for the Peter McVerry Trust, who do vital work for the homeless. To date, Just Eat customers have generated over €50,000 for the Peter McVerry Trust, enough to move five people out of homelessness and into better futures.

Samantha comments; "This takeaway campaign is perfect, because you can order food on a Tuesday, get a 10 percent discount and chip in 10 percent to 2019’s Just Eat charity of choice, the Peter McVerry Trust. So you’re doing something good."

Does she notice the homelessness which is also prevalent in Los Angeles too, while she's spending her down-time there?

“Again, who am I to talk about anything, but there are definite areas. Santa Monica area and Downtown area, what I find is that a lot of the problems there are mental health. These people should be in facilities, in LA for me I notice, it’s a lot more of that. Whereas here, it’s more people who are getting a bad run of things. It just seems to be different circumstances, I suppose," she emphasises.

Her daughter Sage was born in 2015, with her husband Torray Scales. We're immediately jealous of Sage, because she's already heard some of her mum's new material;

‘Nightmare before Christmas is her thing. We listen to that soundtrack, and I love it as well, so it’s great. Sometimes she said, ‘I wanna hear mummy’s songs’, she approves of the new songs, thankfully. She’s very sweet, but other times she’s like, ‘Ok, back to Disney’, she laughs.

“She says she lives in LA and lives in Dublin, she loves being home. She gets totally spoilt rotten at home. The back and forth is her norm, she doesn’t know any different.”

We couldn't let Samantha go without trying to get the dates for her new music to be released, it had to be done. For the good of mankind. Luckily, she was ready for the question;

“I was hoping to have a date already. I have to have it within the next two weeks, because I want my first release to be latest end of March, early April. So we’re working on it. I’d love to have two singles out by the summer, and the album definitely will be later on in the year, but I’m on it.”

One core difference between now and when Samantha started is, of course, the power of social media. She's aware of it as a tool, and this time it's going to connect her even more to her fans;

“That’s what I’m enjoying the most, there’s no random people telling me what I have to do, I’m fully in control of everything. That’s kind of the most exciting part for me. The people I’ve been working with in the States are so creative, they’re really pushing me out of my comfort zone.”

In terms of teasing some collaborations in the pipeline, she's revealed a song with MNEK has been created, and we are SO HERE for it. The artist is known for working with some of pop's biggest names, among them are Dua Lipa and Zara Larsson.

“MNEK I have done work with, yes, I adore him. He’s incredible, he’s so talented. I have done one song with him, and I have my core group of people to work with. I think he’ll actually be in LA again in another couple of weeks, so we’ll do another session there as well. I’d love to bring him in with my people, because I think they’d all mesh really well. I’m excited for what that will bring. He’s such a talent and a joy to work with.”

Is there anyone she's especially got her eye on, in terms of new female talent?

“I just discovered her and I’m obsessed, it’s Donna Missal from the US. She’s incredible, I love her."

Samantha is 36-years-old, and time has only given her even more glamour, wisdom and thick-skin for the tough music industry.

Her new album is set to encompass that sense of maturity;

My new music is pop R’N’B, it’s current to where I am, I’m a grown woman who’s lived a life. I have a lot of things to say. I’m just expressing them, and hopefully other women will relate to it."

Samantha is the newest 2019 mood; let her reign begin anew.

Glastonbury headliners are always a MAJOR deal, it's Coachella's British, more down-to-earth cousin, and the festival has attracted some of the music industry's biggest names since it began.

2018 saw the Kings of Leon, Jay-Z and The Verve headline the world class event, and now Mel B has let slip some possibly high-profile secrets regarding The Spice Girls and the infamous festival.

After selling out all nine of their stadium shows for their 2019 reunion tour, Scary Spice has now divulged that their sights are set on a huge career marker for the four-piece act, which is missing Posh Spice (sob).

Mel B let slip that "talks" are being carried out with bosses Michael and Emily Eavis, but she admits it would be a bit gas to bring their cheesy pop vibes to the edgy music festival stage.

"Glastonbury? It’s been talked about," she told The Sun on Thursday. "But we’re so pop and it’s so cool — that’ll be funny to me."

"I think Mel C would really appreciate us doing that — she’s the cool one. She’s the cool indie chick."

Victoria Beckham is bowing out of their reunion, which disappointed fans who wanted the clique back to their best.

So far, only Stormzy has been announced as Glastonbury's next headliner, who will perform on the Pyramid Stage in June 2019.

Emma Bunton has said that it would be 'nice' (don't gush, Emma, it's only Glasto…) and Mel C has expressed an interest in the headliner slot since May.

During their six-year pop reign, The Spice Girls never performed on a single music festival stage. The band became a hit back in 1994 but split when Geri Horner left the group in 2000.

Glastonbury returns to Worthy Farm in Somerset on June 26 2019 after taking a break.

Mel B's Halloween costume is sure to upset a few people, but you can be sure that Victoria Beckham won't be happy, to say the least.

Scary Spice lived up to her name and sported a mask of Posh Spice while wielding a sign saying 'No I am not going on tour.' Yikes.

She appears to be not-so-subtly taking a dig at Victoria Beckham's refusal to join the Spice Girls reunion tour and consequentially causing a fallout within the former iconic girlband.

The America's Got Talent judge attended Heidi Klum's annual NYC Halloween party and appeared to confirm that Posh Spice did in fact cause a feud among the band by rejecting offers for a worldwide tour.

She was accompanied by her close pal Gary Madatyan, who wore a jersey which read “Beckham” and held a sign that read: “Please, please, please do it for the Spice fans."

They're certainly trying to send us a message, that's for sure!

Mel imitated Posh's iconic look of towering heels and a Little Black Dress, and finished off the controversial look with a mask bearing the face of the designer mum-of-four.

She is living up to her new reputation as Shady Spice – and the internet appears to be loving it.

Victoria did not attend Klum's star-studded 19th Annual Halloween Party at LAVO in New York, and therefore wasn't able to defend herself.

Instead, she celebrated Halloween with her kids back in London, dressing up as a creepy bunny which will likely scare most of her neighbours.

Fans were living in confusion over the future of the girlband in the last few months, after the members were all seen together engaging in meetings regarding a tour.

Mel C previously commented that the band might not rejoin as a five-piece, indicating that Victoria was reluctant to engage with her former bandmates.

Why can't they just reunite and be friends again? Wannabe will never go out of style.

Despite Victoria's apparent absence from a future comeback, music mogul Simon Fuller is the brains behind a possible tour featuring the four remaining Spice Girls.

Mel C has been the most vocal in regards to the lack of interest from the designer: "Victoria has been quite vocal, it’s really not something she wants to do at this time."

The four-piece band will reportedly gain around £12 million individually if the tour sells out, even without Victoria Beckham.

Will there be a rebound swipe at Mel B by Posh Spice, or will she even dignify the costume with a response?

We’ve been hoping The Spice Girls would reunite for quite some time now, so it’s safe to say we were over the moon when the band revealed their reunion news last week.

However, after all this time, we couldn't help but wonder why the girls finally decided to get back together.

Many people claimed it was all for the money, however, Victoria Beckham has revealed the real reason behind their reunion- and it is beyond inspiring.

The fashion designer admitted that the empowering Me Too movement showed her that the time was right.

Posh Spice explained that the powerful campaign reminded her that The Spice Girls have the power to spread a meaningful message.

The Spice Girls are all about girl power, which is well needed at this time in women’s history.

Speaking to The Mirror, Vic shared: 'The Time’s Up and #MeToo movements have shone a light on how powerful we can be when we work together to bring about change.'

'The reunion is all about spreading that important message that women are worthy, and they are strong.

'My career has always focused on empowering and celebrating women, so the momentum that these movements brought only makes me even more determined and passionate in my beliefs,' said Victoria.

As if we didn't love Girl Power the first time around, this is definitely a message we can get behind.

We could barely contain our excitement when we were greeted by a reunion photo of the Spice Girls on Instagram last Friday.

With rumours of a comeback tour circulating, we can’t help but wonder where the Wannabe singers will perform their first show.

According to The Sun, the girls have high hopes for their comeback performance.

"Geri suggested the Royal Wedding is a fantastic opportunity, and that they should offer to perform at the reception,” they revealed.

Apparently, Meghan Markle is a huge fan of the 90s pop band, so who knows, their reunion may be taking place in front of the Queen herself.

“The wedding fits in perfectly with Geri’s idea that the reunion should be very British. She sees it as a big of their identity, and one they should keep."

Picking a wedding band is usually tricky, especially when you have the entire Royal Family to please, however, we just can’t picture Prince William dancing along to Spice Up Your Life.

Speaking of their future, the girls stated, “The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together."

They added, "We all agree that there are many exciting possibilities that will once again embrace the original essence of The Spice Girls while reinforcing our message of female empowerment for future generations."

Performing at the wedding of the year is one hell of a way to kick-start their reunion. Geri, Victoria, Mel C, Emma and Mel B have high hopes, but with Meghan Markle on their side, they may stand a chance of performing at the Royal Wedding on May 19.

Geri Halliwell had a fairytale wedding to Christian Horner in Bedfordshire, England last month, but not everything about the big day was perfect.

Three notable absentees from the ceremony were Geri's former Spice Girls bandmates Mel B, Mel C and Victoria Beckham. In the end, Emma Bunton was the only one in attendance, and although did others did take to social media to lament the fact they couldn't be there, many wondered why more of an effort wasn't made.

Now though, Mel B has spoken out about why she skipped Geri's big day along with Posh and Sporty, and she says it really was just an unfortunate scheduling issue.

The former X Factor judge claims that Geri simply didn't give her guests enough notice when planning the big day.

"Even though [Geri and Christian] have been together quite a while, it was like, ‘Oh I’m getting married in a few weeks,'" Mel explained to TooFab.com. "I was like, ‘No change the date!’"

Despite missing Geri's wedding, Mel said she was keen to hear how it went, and added that she would be arriving in England in "a few hours" to catch up with her pals. It seems she stuck to her word, if this Instagram snap posted by Mel earlier today is anything to go by:

Former Spice Girls members Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Mel C, were spotted all hanging out together recently at the Isle of Wight festival and we are so happy about it!

It's years since they had a hit but they are still massive icons of ours and seeing these pictures of them together bring us right back to the early days..

In case your wondering who Geri Horner is, Geri Halliwell got married and took husband Christian Horner's second name.

Geri and Christian tied the knot at St Mary's Church in Bedfordshire in front of their family and friends on Friday 15 May. At one point the 42-year-old singer cuddled up to her new husband, proving that the honeymoon phase has not yet passed

Fans commented with replies including "pictures like this make me so happy", "Spice babes", and "great to see you all happy together.miss your music"

Blast from the past: Geri also bumped into the spice bus!

The three singers seemed over the moon to run into each other at the festival and spent the day joined by Ronan Keating and his fiance Storm too.

But it turns out this might not be the only reunion for the girls, it is reported that chief of Isle of Wight festival John Giddings is trying to get the girls back together next year to celebrate the twenty year anniversary of the releases of Wannabe. (Fingers crossed!)
