Clap-back queen and general amazing human Chrissy Teigen made an important point when a fan asked if she was pregnant.
The internets favourite social media darling has a reputation for slamming the trolls, but she had a dignified response to an Instagram user who asked about a possible baby bump.
Teigen is currently in Italy with her husband, John Legend, and her two children. Her latest Instagram snap sees the model wearing a towel as a dress, and one commenter wrote, "Baby bump?" as a response.
Chrissy perfectly explained to the commenter why asking a woman if she's pregnant can be extremely hurtful, and we love her for it.
Teigen herself had issues with conceiving in the past, and used her last frozen embryo after rounds of IVF in order to have her second child, Miles.
The star replied to the baby bump comment with compassion, but perfectly explained why it's not appropriate to ask questions such as these.
Instagram/@chrissyteigen
"I know you didn't mean it to be rude, but think twice about asking this," Teigen wrote. "There are people who have trouble conceiving, and it hurts every time."
She continued; "I'm not pregnant but would be happy if I were. But I'm also happy not to be!" she said. The mum-of-two has been praised for her honest reply to a hard question.
Another fan pointed out; "It also hurts when you are trying to lose your baby weight and still have a bump and people ask or think this question."
Teigen commented in response; "I'm already reminded of it every time I get out of the shower, I don't need to hear it on the daily."
Whether it's fertility, post-partum depression or her post-baby body; Chrissy is truly an authentic spokeswoman online for every mum struggling with the realities of motherhood.
She's never one to hold back when faced with parent-shaming or intrusion from fans, and we're glad she schooled this fan on the topic of conception.
Botox and fillers for those under the age of 18 may soon be banned according to the Minister for Health.
Simon Harris claims the possible new restriction in theory would work similarly to the sunbed ban for minors.
According to Harris, certain companies and professionals are taking advantage of young people's desire for the perfect image, courtesy of social media sites like Instagram.
Doctors have also raised concerns about the increase in patients being admitted to hospitals following botched cosmetic procedures.
The Minister has requested that his officials assess the need to further regulate botox and fillers, such as a possible ban for minors.
Concerns regarding filling material have also arisen, as it isn't categorised as a drug but as a medical device. This means that it can be bought online and used by someone without medical training.
Minister Harris expressed his concern over the consequences of this area going "unregulated or unsupervised".
A recent study by Therapie Clinic has shown that 68 percent of Irish people said that they already have or would consider getting a cosmetic procedure done.
In 2017, a teen health report showed that a shocking 72 percent of Irish young adults were experiencing body image issues.
Kylie Jenner has been slammed online over quite the growing array of tasteless things, as of late, and this latest stunt is being added to the pile.
The make-up mogul knows how to throw a lavish party, but the theme of the soirée she held for her best friend Anastasia Karanikolaou is landing her in hot water.
The billionaire incorporated the totalitarian regime of Gilead to Los Angeles, hosting a Handmaid's Tale bash for her BFF. It's fair to say that people online are more than a bit p*ssed off…
The intimate gathering was attended by Scott Disick's girlfriend, Sofia Richie, and included the infamous red cloaks for all guests, and caterers and staff dressed up as 'Marthas'.
There were also cocktails called 'Under His Eye' tequila and 'Praise Be Vodka'.
Kylie's Instagram Story shows herself calling a male friend Commander, and using tropes from the famous dystopian series to show ownership of handmaids.
"Welcome to Gilead," Jenner said in a social media video.
The 21-year-old was slammed for turning a show that depicts the oppression of women and rape as something to be mocked, referring to the party as 'disturbing' and 'tone deaf'.
The party comes at possibly the worst ever time, considering that numerous states over the last few weeks have passed a bill essentially banning all forms of abortion, which is highly dangerous.
A user named @anamgom tweeted;
"Kylie Jenner throwing her friend a Handmaid’s Tale themed birthday party complete with robes, Gilead flags … is so tone deaf, at any time, but especially when women’s rights and autonomy are particularly under attack. Disheartening."
Can someone please reassure me that "Kylie Jenner's Handmaid's Tale–Themed Party" is a phrase I hallucinated on this festering grease trap of a hellsite
Kylie Jenner is having a party themed after the Handmaid’s Tale…..so…..who’s gonna tell her that her party is literally celebrating female enslavement for their biological reproduction??
Margaret Atwood's notorious novel appears chillingly close to the bone recently, with the Trump administration rolling back women's rights across the board.
Many are seeing Jenner's apparent ignorance by throwing the party as a prime example of 'privilege'. The iconic red robes have become a feminist symbol of protest against women's oppression and sexual violence.
@QveenMai tweeted. "Does anyone wanna tell her that handmaids are literally raped, stripped of their freedom and treated as cattle?" I mean, does she even know?
Unsurprisingly, Jenner hasn't addressed the online backlash. Season three of The Handmaid's Tale premiered on Hulu last Wednesday.
So, yet another viral horror is doing the internet rounds, and we're ready to check out of the hotel of life.
An absolutely terrifying ventriloquist doll of Hollywood actor Timothée Chalamet is spreading around the World Wide Web, and it must be stopped at all costs.
The doll was uploaded to eBay for an outrageous $122,795, and he's even wearing the infamous Golden Globes harness. Good luck sleeping tonight, is all we can say.
My therapist: The Timothée Chalamet ventriloquist figure isn’t real and can’t hurt you
The Timothée Chalamet ventriloquist figure: pic.twitter.com/VWtlEaM520
Others thought the doll resembled other well-known figures, like Justin Trudeau, Kim Jon-Iland Jonathan Cheban.
We're fairly convinced it's Timothée, no one else can pull off that iconic Louis Vuitton harness and live to tell the fashion tale.
Many online users also expressed their hope that they could eventually get their hands on the six-figure item, and we have to admit…that surprised us.
If your man doesn’t get you the $100,000 one of a kind Timothee Chalamet Ventriloquist Figure with Louis Vuitton Harness for your anniversary is he REALLY what you’re looking for? pic.twitter.com/XY6FItMgTM
"If your man doesn’t get you the $100,000 one of a kind Timothee Chalamet ventriloquist figure with Louis Vuitton harness for your anniversary, is he REALLY what you’re looking for?" wrote one fan. Wow.
Others were raging that his hair wasn't done correctly, which came out of left field. We wonder has the actor seen the doll? Maybe it will end up stealing all of his roles?
He'd want to watch his back. This isn't going to do good things for our insomnia, we can't get the doll's creepy, smug face out of our imagination…
We've all noticed Love Island's resident Irish contestant Yewande NEVER being on screen. Literally never. The jacuzzi gets more air-time.
It seems the show's viewers have also seen the annoying pattern, and are hitting out at the ITV2 dating show for failing to give Callum, Michael and Yewande their due time on screen.
Those involved in all the drama and love triangles such as Lucie, Joe and Tommy are bound to be seen more, and 24 hours of footage has to be snipped down, but still.
Viewers claimed that Yewande, among other islanders, were being purposefully left out from the episodes, and host Caroline Flack tried to explain the reasoning behind this,
She felt it was more because of the show's main moments, and who has feelings for a fellow islander. Yewande has fancies Curtis, but that's about it. Plus he's a taken man.
On Love Island: Aftersun, Flack said; “We haven’t really seen enough of Yewande yet have we, but is it purely because she just hasn’t fancied anyone…”
AJ Odudu was a guest on the panel, and confessed that she believes Yewande has self-esteem issues and isn't ready to take on romance as of yet.
“I think Yewande has self-esteem issues, I really do, I feel like she’s her biggest barrier in there," she said.
Viewers and the entire panel are hoping that she'll find love in the form of new islander; Danny Williams.
The newbie will take Yewande and Amber out on a date tonight, stay tuned to see what happens. Judging by his massive ego, we think he's a better match for Amber though…damn it…
Big Little Lies season one had us absolutely GRIPPED with the underlying tension and complex relationships, not to mention the stellar acting from stars like Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley, Zoe Kravitz, Laura Dern and Nicole Kidman.
We can't get enough of the Monterey mums and their crazy tale, and jumped for joy when HBO commissioned a season two with seven new episodes. Oh, and MERYL STREEP. *Weeps*
The sophomore series is due to premiere on June 9, 2019 and the first-look images are ridiculously intense. It looks like plenty of confrontations will take place, and epiphany moments.
The teaser shows plenty of screaming, which proves weirdly entertaining. Meryl is seen throwing some world class shade at the end, playing the role of Perry's mother. If you've forgotten, Perry is six feet under after his abuse escalated and he was pushed down the steps by Bonnie.
We just KNOW that Meryl is going to bring something special to the show. Perry's mum arrives in town with plenty of questions about her son's death.
Nicole Kidman shared the first picture of Mary Louise Wright (Meryl's character) last August, alongside Celeste's "darling boys." What are they looking at, we wonder? Perry's mum and Madeleine also appear to have a showdown.
Reese and Meryl were seen filming a scene involving an ice cream cone being thrown in Los Angeles; basically Madeleine hurls the cone at Mary Louise. They both appear to be fiery characters, and it's unsurprising that they clash.
The show finally has it's own Instagram account, so we're guessing that it'll be riddled with BLL hints about the new season fairly soon. Currently, it's just a grid of videos and gallery posts about the cast.
A new director is also attached to the project: Andrea Arnold. Every episode of season one was directed by Jean-Marc Vallée, but he was quoted saying, "If we do a season 2, we’ll break a beautiful thing and spoil it."
He decided not to do season two, basically. Arnold previously worked on episodes of Transparent and the Oscar-winning short film Wasp.
So happy to be able to finally share this—Big Little Lies’: Denis O’Hare Set To Recur In Season 2 Of HBO Series https://t.co/kodnpiJa7O via @deadline
News also broke that This Is Us and American Horror Story actor Denis O'Hare is set to become a regular cast member for season two. His role is yet to be described though, we're waiting.
It also looks like all the OG members of the Monterey Mom patrol are returning. Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman will also return as executive producers (girl power) and Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley and Zoë Kravitz are reprising their cast roles.
Rumour has it, Alexander Skarsgård could be back? The actor won a Golden Globe, an Emmy and a SAG Award for his incredible portrayal of Celeste's abusive husband, Perry. Though he's definitely dead (thank you, stairs)…he could appear in flashbacks.
Celeste's husband could still appear in her nightmares. Executive producer Bruna Papandrea recently responded “not that I know of” when asked if Alexander will return.
Alexander has also teased, “I don’t even know if I’m really dead or not. I feel okay right now, but we’ll see.” He's keeping the option open, it would seem.
Liane Moriarty is the author of the book, Big Little Lies. She also wrote the story for season two, despite never publishing a sequel to the book. The season one showrunner and writer David E. Kelley is also returning.
Word on the street is that Bonnie's parents show up to stir trouble. In April 2018, the Hollywood Reporter broke everyone's hearts by claiming Zoë’s real-life VIP parents Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet will not play Bonnie’s parents on BLL.
Crystal Fox plays Elizabeth Howard, and Martin Donovan (Weeds) will portray Bonnie's father, Martin. Bonnie will struggle to process what she did to Perry, and it has an important emotional link to her past. Deadlinereports that Perry's death drags up unsavoury memories from her childhood.
Renata is also due to have a few alterations to her marriage, according to Deadline.
Good news: a hot, "offbeat" surfer hits up Monterey. Give a warm round of applause to actor Douglas Smith, who will play Corey Brockfield. The character is an “aspiring marine biologist” and Jane’s (Shailene) co-worker. Romance alert?
The Canadian actor has worked on The Alienist, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Big Love. All we know about him is that he looks damn good on the beach.
The cast are getting some TASTY pay raises (#TimesUp). ABC Newsreported in April 2018 that the cast will get increases for the season season.
Casey Bloys, president of HBO programming told THR in a different interview that this was a “direct result” of the Time’s Up movement, so clap clap to Reese for that;
“One of the things that’s come out of thinking about the movement and some conversations with Reese, who’s really at the forefront, is something we’ve done recently. We’ve proactively gone through all of our shows- in fact, we just finished our process where we went through and made sure that there were no inappropriate disparities in pay, and where there were, if we found any, we corrected it going forward.”
THR claimed in January of last year that Nicole and Reese, who produce the show, will earn $1 million per episode on season two, compared to $250,000 to $350,000 per episode on season one.Did someone say, "glow up"?
Their children's school will get a brand new teacher at Otter Bay Elementary. Mo McRae, of Pitch fame, will play Michael Perkins; a second grade teacher who causes Renata's daughter to have panic attacks about the environment.
HBO confirmed that P. J. Byrne will reprise his role as the school’s principal last May, and Poora Jagannathan (Gypsy, The Night Of) will play a new character named Katie Richmond. We're assuming she's a mum, but nothing's been set in stone.
Meryl has been having a WHALE of a time on set with the ladies, even going group bowling with the cast. Nicole Kidman is set to create more projects with Liane Moriarty, specifically her upcoming book Nine Perfect Strangers.
Nicole has bought the film and tv rights, so we're in for a treat. We have no word on whether or not there'll be a Big Little Lies season three. BLL creator and executive producer Kelley has said,
“It’s one and two, and we like our closure with season two, but that will probably be it.” Nicole seemed to disagree, saying, “There’s no plan for it to end, specifically. This was a long shoot for us, and it was an enormous amount of work, and we’re just amazed that we can be here.” Hmmm
Stacey Solomon has finally shared the name of her third son and we adore it. The mum explained that she wanted to wait until her baby boy's actual due date to reveal the news. Stacey and her partner Joe Swash welcomed their son a little earlier than expected on May 23.
"Rex Toby Francis Swash. Due today, born 23.05.2019 on my Mummy’s birthday," she wrote.
The mum-of-three revealed why they picked the name: "Rex because our boys think he sounds like a T-Rex. Francis is Joe’s Nanna’s name and Toby is my Nanna’s name."
Understandably, Stacey wanted to wait until Rex's due date to share his moniker.
"Its taken us this long to announce the name because for some strange, probably hormone and post birth related, reason I didn’t want to do it until his official due date," she said.
Stacey and Joe couldn't have picked a sweeter name for their son. Baby Rex is as cute as a button.
The Duchess of Sussex has made her first public appearance since welcoming her baby boy Archie last month. The new mum attended Trooping the Colour with her husband Prince Harry.
Meghan looked as stunning as ever in a navy blue ensemble by Givenchy and a hat by Noel Stewart. The new mum was glowing as she arrived at Buckingham Palace for Queen Elizabeth’s birthday celebration.
Meghan joined her husband Prince Harry, The Duchess of Cambridge and The Duchess of Cornwall for the carriage procession this morning.

The Duchess has taken a step back from her royal duties as she is on maternity leave. She has not been seen in public since May 8 when she introduced baby Archie to the world with Prince Harry.
It is understood that Meghan will take three months maternity leave, meaning she will officially return to royal duties later in the summer.
A source told The Sun: “Meghan has made it very clear she wants to return to work as soon as possible. She has huge amounts of energy, is extremely determined and wants to be as hands-on as possible with her charities.
“Three months’ maternity is standard in the US for American mums – they don’t normally get the six or even 12 months women get here in the UK. So this is totally normal for Meghan.”
Shemazing mums have collaborated with FujiFilm to capture the magic of Father's Day, and answer the question of why it's so important.
We asked our readers why the day isn't just a 'Hallmark Holiday', and the results were both hilarious and heart-warming.
Some lovely moments have been shared between their children and Dad, judging by the positive reaction. 93 percent of Irish mums agree that the day should be celebrated.
Over half of mums surveyed admitted to playing down the role that a father plays during the child-rearing years, from infancy to teenage times.
However, 100 percent of mums had nothing but pure love when asked how it feels to witness a special moment between a dad and their children, unsurprisingly.
We asked Shemazing mums for examples of some of these priceless snapshots, and the answers made us believe in Father's Day even more.
According to our mums, their #BestDadMoments include; "The times he allowed our girls to give him a full makeover", "The times it rained and he took over pitch-side so I didn't get wet" and "The day he taught our little ones to ride their bikes".
"The nights he got our children to sleep when I simply couldn't", was another classic example, and "The times he let me be 'good cop' when disciplining our children".
"The life experience stories he shares with our children to teach and empower", "the promises he makes to our children to always be there for them no matter what"and "The way he makes our children feel when they share their latest achievement", were more sweet gems.
Another memory was, "The belief he instils in our children that they can do and be anything they desire", which all parents can relate to.
"The pure love I witnessed when he held our child for the first time," is possibly the most special moment in a father's life.
Last but not least,"The dad-dance moves he performs for our children for fun or to get them out of a funk". Hilarious, but necessary sometimes. Father's Day is just around the corner, Sunday, June 16.
It's time to get your last minute gifts in order. Our mums showed a strong preference for personalised gifts using photos to capture their #BestDadMoments.
According to Shemazing mums, the top five most popular gifts this Father's Day are; A personalised photo gift, a new gadget or tech gift, aftershave, golf balls or sporting accessories, and a selection of craft beer.
Laura Erskine, Head of Community for MummyPages.ie, spoke about the Father's Day findings;
"Sometimes us mums can get a little jealous when we see that dad is the one that they screech excitedly for when he gets home from work, and we’ve been the one cooking, cleaning, tending to homework and cut knees.
"Not to mention the joyous laughter that only dad can elicit when he wrestles them on the bed or blows raspberries on their tummy, and we’re the one reminding them to brush teeth before bed," she added.
“But for all of these #BestDadMoments, there are also those moments where dad takes matters into his own hands and allows us mums to have some peace and quiet.
"Very often, we as mums don’t let dad to be an active parent as much as we should," Laura continued.
"We need to let dad be dad – unsupervised, with no prior instructions – just figuring it out as we do everyday.
This Father’s Day, "I would urge mums to let dads to be dads, so that both the joyous moments and the more mundane ones, can be more equally shared by both parents.”
“For those considering a special gift this Father’s Day, there is nothing that beats a personalised photo gift depicting one of the #BestDadMoments saved on your camera roll," Laura says.
Creating a personalised photo gift and doesn't have to cost a fortune. FujiFilm have a quality range of photo gifts, including mugs, photo blocks for office desks or a photo book of special moments starting from just €9.99.
For any mums juggling a hectic family life and need a last-minute gift, definitely try the FujiFilm Imagine app, which allows you to order your personalised photo gift from your smartphone and collect it from your nearest store or delivered nationwide.
Father's Day is always a magical time for the dads out there, why not make it a day to remember?
