We all dream of succeeding in our careers, whether you’re a nurse, a florist or a journalist. We can all admit that we’ve daydreamed about becoming an Oscar winning actress or perhaps the founder of a successful fashion brand like Irish entrepreneur sisters Malindi and Elena Demery.

The empowering duo have strived in the fashion world since starting their company Malena Fashion. However, running your own company can be stressful at the best of times. Luckily, the girls have a solution for the bad days. They said one thing that keeps them going is appreciating even the smallest achievements, stressing that women should always believe in themselves.

Both Malindi and Elena admitted they were nervous about being a woman in the business industry. Females have been underestimated and disrespected for far too long, but the sisters have only gone from strength to strength since launching their company.

The pair have exceeded an astonishing €3 million turnover annually as the exclusive distributors of Freddy Jeans in the UK and Ireland, and the brains behind Malena Fashion.

The girls’ dad has always been part of the fashion business, so they “were always involved in one way or another.”

It was their dad’s positive attitude that motivated them on the days when work was daunting and their dreams felt like they were out of reach.

“He always finds the good even in the most negative situations. He showed us there’s always a silver lining,” they shared.

They've clearly inherited is upbeat attitude. The girls extended their words of wisdom to the young women of Ireland, who recently collected their exam results.

Thousands of students are faced with massive decisions to make about their future, but the sisters admitted that regardless of how well you do, not even bad results can stop you from pursuing your dreams.

“Go at your own pace. Once you care about what you do you’ll go for it. Grades should never stop you from doing what you love” they said.

Celebrities including Laura Whitmore, Vogue Williams and even the princess of pop Britney Spears have been spotted rocking the popular Freddy Jeans, but the sisters said the jeans are for every woman, no matter what her size or age.

They explained that the best thing about Freddy Jeans is how good you feel in them. We all know how daunting shopping for jeans is. Some are too long, others are too tight, finding the perfect pair can feel like mission impossible.

Elena and Malindi explained that the jeans are loved by everyone, from 18-year-old students to 60-year-old grandmothers. One store that sells the well-loved jeans recently told the girls that an 87-year-old woman purchased a pair of high waist Freddy Jeans, proving that it doesn’t matter who you are, anyone can wear them.

The ultra stretchy fabric will leave you feeling super confident, whether you’re a size six or 16. The girls recommend snapping up a pair of the classic black jeans as we get closer to the winter months.

We are all guilty of buying a cheap pair of jeans for a tenner, but the fashion experts recommend investing in pieces that will see you through many winters.

The sisters stressed the importance of avoiding fast fashion. Spending that little bit extra on a pair of Freddy Jeans or on a snuggly cashmere jumper from luxury brand Rosamund is a wiser move. “The pieces will stay with you forever.”

Like mother, like daughter! The Beckham family is one of our favourite families and while the boys get their fair share of time in the spotlight, we've always thought Harper is utterly adorable – and it's clear she's the dote of the family.

Case in point: her latest haircut. She's more like her mum's mini-me than ever, with her stylish bob very reminiscent of her mum's Spice Girl days – so many Posh Spice vibes! Dad David looks proud as punch of his beloved daughter too!

It could be coincidental that the 7-year-old is channelling mum is a subtle way but we doubt it somehow. The 44-year-old fashion designer has been known to sport some shorter styles throughout her life, and now it seems it's her only daughter's time to rock those shorter locks.

It's clear she is a fashionista in the making; the cut looks sweet (and the white shirt she's paired it with is perfect) but not overly grown-up.

And one thing is for sure, Harper already has her mum's famous pout down!

On a recent family vacation, Victoria revealed to her social media followers that little Harper was paying homage to her mom's past. "Spice World has been on heavy rotation this holiday!!" the designer said. "Not only is Harper obsessed with the Spice Bus….she now wants 'a little Gucci dress.'" Don't we all!

We wonder how else she might follow in mum's footsteps?

Comedy juggernauts Dave Chappelle (think The Nutty Professor and You've Got Mail) and Jon Stewart (The Daily Show) will bring their comedic genius to Dublin this October.

The pair will take over the 3Arena on Wednesday, 17th October for one night only, and the gig is sure to be as hilarious as it will be memorable.

Before 2018’s limited run of shows, the two comedians had previously united in August 2017, with Jon Stewart making a surprise appearance during Dave Chappelle’s set at New York’s Radio City Music Hall.

This is the first time the duo have announced a joint Irish engagement so you know it's going to be special.

However, the gig will have a strict no mobile phone policy in place. As in no phones at all. You'll have to either leave it at home, in your car or lock it in a Youndr pouch at the venue.

Everyone is subject to a pat down and wanding, and anyone caught with a phone inside the venue will be immediately ejected.

Tickets from €51 including booking fees go on sale this Friday at 10am.

Bonnie found out she was expecting identical twins when she was 19 weeks pregnant. The 29-year-old said she was stunned when their doctor told her the news.

“I cried. I cried for a while. I was thinking, ‘How am I going to do this?’ It’s our first baby and now it’s two. The pregnancy, the risk, the birth itself – everything.”

The Kardashian family are well used to getting their fair share of criticism and not-so-brilliant press.

However, when those mean comments from trolls online start to aim for their children, that's a whole other story.

This has been happening to Khloe recently, who has had to deal with her four-month-old daughter True, getting the brunt of angry people commenting on social media platforms.

Khloe uploaded a photo of True, her daughter with Cleveland Cavaliers' basketball player Tristan Thompsom, on Instagram recently and it faced a huge backlash.

The baby was pictured smiling as she sat sitting in a child-sized Bentley, which Khloe captioned, ''I’m not sure what’s cuter, the cute teddy bear driving the Bentley truck or True’s cheeks and smile.Thank you Auntie Kimora and family for the precious gift!''

Some people simply saw a happy baby surrounded by new toys, while others saw red and were quick to point the finger of judgement.

One wrote, ''MATERIALISMMMMMMM imbedded in her skull already.''

Another said, ''Just remember- kids don’t need crazy big toys to be happy!''

You don’t know this yet but you’re my best friend for all eternity!

A post shared by Khloé (@khloekardashian) on

Others couldn't see why people couldn't let it go, with one commenting, ''seriously people if you cannot accept the fact that it is a picture of a cute baby sitting in a gift that was given to her and her mom took a picture then scroll along…. Quit being so negative…..ACCEPT the simple fact cute baby nice picture!!!''

Khloe did hit back though, when one of her followers suggested that she should encourage her daughter to be "closer to God.''

To which Khloe had an articulate response.

''We read children's bible stories everyday and we say prayers every single night but you should not pass judgement either way. Why be so negative if you are a child of God? She's a baby who received a beautiful sweet gift and I was SOOO excited to put her in it and take a picture! I'm enjoying every single moment I can with my sweet angel! The angel GOD gave me!''

You may not be he biggest fan of the Kardashian's but you have to hand it to Khloe, she handled that perfectly.

We all loved Lane Kim, Rory's BFF in Gilmore Girls.

And actress Keiko Agena ahs nwo written an amazing book, No Mistakes: A Perfect Workbook for Imperfect Artists, about embracing failure and dealing with anxiety.

Sounds like something we might need.

Keiko told Bustle, "I love books like this, that dive into what we need to do as artists. So, I asked myself 'What do I need?' and 'What am I scared of?' Well, I’m constantly scared that I’m not good enough, or I’m not the right type of something, and that I’m a failure,"

She continued, ''it had come to a point in my career where, even though I had been acting for a while, I was –  and still am to some extent – fearful of speaking out. Even though I’m older now, I always defer. My comfort zone is to defer to other people that know better. But at this age that I’m coming into, it was a question of ‘Well, if I don’t start to feel comfortable speaking for myself and trusting my voice, then when?' If I want to do it, I’d better start now!"

Thr book is divided into ten different chapters, each dealing with different creative lessons including "Failure Is Fodder For Courage" and "Cherish Your Voice.''

Shr has been very open about the fact that writing this book wasn't planned, but rather it stemmed from a form of therapy.

She said, ''I will say that if there is one thing that I do give myself credit for, it’s that I know when there is an opportunity and I will fight hard to live up to the grandness of whatever that opportunity is. So, I think when this did start to happen, I just jumped on it. Even though I’m such a Nervous Nelly that I was like ‘It will never happen’."

We've always had a soft spot for Stars Hollow's resident punk rocker and we'll deffo be seeing what this book is all about.

When doing your food shopping, it's always a good idea to check the "best before" and "use by" mentions to prevent food waste.

While "best before" indicates that the food is still safe to consume a few days after the date, the "use by" should be strictly followed to prevent any food poisoning.

Surprisingly though, some food actually never go off. Because they are highly concentrated in sugar, fat or salt, the degradation process is almost non-existent.

Here are our cupboard heroes:

1. Ghee

This clarified butter originating from India is produced by heating butter to remove the milk solids and water, which makes it virtually 100% satured fat.

2. Jarred vegetables

Kept in sterilised jars in a preserving liquid, vegetables can be kept for years, especially if stored in a dark cool place.

3. Stock cubes

Made mostly with salt, the chicken, beef or vegetable stock cubes are absolutely safe to use, even years after buying them.

4. Canned food

Although they usually contain a "best before" mention, canned food virtually never expires. If you are using an old can, just be careful that it isn't swollen, as it would mean it is no longer safe to consume.

5. Spices

Ground spices, such as cinnamon, turmeric, cayenne pepper, cumin or garam masala lose their flavour over time, but they are harmless to use even after the use-by date.

6. White flour and cornflour

White flour and cornflour can lose their nutritional value overtime, but they are safe to consume almost indefinitely. Be careful with whole-wheat flour which does go off, and self-raising flour which loses its leavening properties within a few months after opening.

7. Dry pulses and beans

Contrary to fresh vegetables and fruits, dry beans, lentils or chickpeas contain very little water which gives them a long shelf-life.

8. Pasta and rice

For the same reason as pulses, their very low water content, pasta and rice can be safely consumed years after buying them.

Pink is one of those celebrities that have always been real.

The 38-year-old is currently on a world tour with her Beautiful Trauma album and who has she taken along with her for the ride?

Her two gorgeous children, 7-year-old daughter Willow and 1-year-old son Jameson.

As well as her husband, professional motocoss racer Carey Hart.

Pink has been keeping fans updated about the tour as well as how much her kids are enjoying it yet it was her spouse who gave us a glimpse into the rather more relatable side of parenting young children.

The picture showed Carey attempting to peacefully use the bathroom but being thwarted by toddler Jameson sitting by his feet and his older daughter Willow peeping around the corner.

Can parents ever get a minute of peace?!

The couple, who have been together since 2001 and married since 2006, have been open about the on-off nature of their relationship in the past, even discussing how they sought marriage counselling.

Walking into the venue today.

A post shared by P!NK (@pink) on

Just like their marriage, parenting has been a topic that Pink has candidly spoken about.

She recently uploaded a photo of Willow and herself, and asked her followers how they would advise her in juggling two kids.

She wrote, ''the older she gets the less clear I am on how to guide her. Do I take the raw honest tough way? Do I cuddle her and tell her to not to worry? Do I let her be sassy knowing I want her to be strong and need her to be strong to survive in this world?''

One person said, ''you will only find out along the way. You are a beautiful person. Keep it real.''

We have no doubt that Pink will definitely continue to do that.

Serena Williams conquered the court in her gorgeous catsuit at the 2018 French Open in June.

However, some people seemed to disagree with the tennis star’s fashion choices.

French tennis officials have announced they will be implementing a new dress code, one that specifically bans Serena’s all-black bodysuit from the court.

In a recent interview with Tennis Magazine, French Tennis Federation President Bernard Giudicelli reportedly announced the regulation of player’s dress.

“I think that sometimes we've gone too far,'' he said.

Bernard continued on, specifically pointing out Serena’s spandex catsuit, saying: “It will no longer be accepted. One must respect the game and the place.''

The Tennis Federation president reassured athletes that Roland Garros' new rules will be nowhere near as strict as Wimbledon’s dress code, but tennis officials will be reviewing all outfit choices ahead of time for next year.

Fans are outraged at the recently announced restrictions and have flooded social media with condemning comments.

Allegations of sexism and racism have been spouted at the tennis association.

One Twitter user ranted: “What are the actual rules on 'acceptable outfits'? How much of this statement is racially motivated?  What’s about Anne’s white catsuit during Wimbledon?”

This year also marks the mum’s first return to the US Open since having her baby girl Olympia.

Serena previously gushed that her stunning catsuit helped fuel her confidence for her return to the tennis world, making her feel like a superhero.

“I feel like a warrior in it, a warrior princess … from Wakanda, maybe,” she told The Guardian.

Conor McGregor is undoubtedly a national treasure, thanks to his stellar career flying the Irish flag in MMA.

The Notorious one has accumulated 25 million followers on his Instagram thanks to his outlandish personal brand.

While many have a love/hate relationship with McGregor's lavish and balsy persona, brands clearly have no issue with it when it comes to having the MMA master represent their products.

According to Hopper's 2018 Instagram rich list, Conor McGregor comes in at number 8 on the list of most valuable social media sportsmen.

The fighting champ commands up to $125,000 per post on this page.

Hopper compiled the data of the richest social media personalities, and Conor comes in at number 16 on the influential list over all.

However, they did get one detail pretty darn wrong.

The list says that Conor is from the UK – a fake news fact we are sure the patriotic fighter would not be too impressed with.

Kylie Jenner topped the list as the most influential person on Instagram, commanding a cool one million dollars per sponsored post.

On September 12th, American Horror Story will be taking to our screens for the 8th season.

Little is known about the upcoming series, other than the fact that it will be titled Apocalypse and that it will be somewhat of a crossover between Coven and Murder House with a number of actors playing multiple roles in the one season – a process that worked incredibly well in the most recent season, Cult.

In honour of the upcoming season, and as an avid and slightly strangely enthused viewer of the show, I've ranked the seasons from best to worst. Any guesses where Apocalypse will end up in this line up?

1. Asylum

Image result for american horror story asylum

Definitely the most frightening, disturbing and thought-provoking season of the series.

The fate and demise of Shelley, played by Chloë Sevigny is the most horrifying of any character in the season, and the addled experimentation and nod to the most recessive underbelly if Nazi medicine in the character of Dr. Arden adds an especially twisted theme to the show. Sister Mary Eunice's possession, while undoubtedly scary, is a fun element to the show – particularly during her sexy rendition of You Don't Own Me. There is quite a bit going on in this series, with the side plot of alien abduction, visitation and micro bot nano technology, and the back stories of the various asylum patient, particularly Pepper.

This is all before we get on to the main storyline, following Lana Winters, a journalist who is condemned to a stint in the very asylum she is seeking to expose. The overlying religious elements make this series particularly harrowing, along with the serial killer plot with Bloody Face. Ultimately, it portrays the mistreatment of vulnerable people in a time not too far from the one we live in.

2. Coven

Image result for american horror story coven

An iconic series, and the one that drew many AHS fans to the show, Coven depicts a New Orleans witches haven, where young witches come to harness their powers.

The battle to become The Supreme, the ruler of the Coven is the main thread here, but the sub-plot of historic racism and dark voodoo magic is the most sickening of the series. And don't get me started on Spalding, the perverted necrophile butler's storyline. The main character here is Zoe, who uses her powers to bring a frat boy Kyle, back from the dead after she murders his rapist frat brothers. A crankly old murderous ghost is resurrected, and his fave weapon is an axe.  A fight against evil ensues, including working against Papa Legba and the Delphi Trust – an illuminati-like organisation out to end The Academy and its' witches. Then it's on to the Trial of the Seven Wonders to crown the next Supreme ruler of the witches.

3. Murder House

Image result for american horror story murder house

The series that started it all, the clue is in the name with this one. Ben and Vivien Harmon move into a very haunted house with their daughter Violet. Chaos ensues.

Moira O'Hara, played by Frances Conroy and Alexandra Breckenridge, is one of the most intriguing characters, a ghostly housekeeper who appears young and lustful to men, mainly Ben Harmon, but old and innocent to women. Ben, a psychologist, starts to see patients in his home office, and through them we get a history lesson on some of LAs most notorious murderous crimes. Vivien becomes impregnated with the antichrists child, while Violet strikes up a romance with Tate, the ghost of a school shooter. The scenes of Tate's crimes are come of the most difficult to watch, as are those in which we see Violet self harming, adding a disturbing element more rooted in the real world than one of fantasy horror. We also get to see the demise of the houses previous tenants, and the crimes they committed, and it's the houses history that leads to the events of the current day.

4. Roanoke

Image result for american horror story roanoke

After a random attack, a city couple move into a mansion built in the 18th century, and built in the middle of nowhere. The building's close proximity to the site of the Lost Colony of Roanoke on haunted earth makes it the scene of horror during the Blood Moon every year.

This series is cinematically engrossing due to it's odd presentation. Shot as a paranormal documentary series titled My Roanoke Nightmare in the first half of the season, the couple's experiences are reenacted by actors. For the second half, the documentary's cast and the original people to doc was about are brought back for the Blood Moon where (surprise surprise) further terror and slaughter await. It's definitely the most gory of all the seasons, and the sub-plot surrounding the 'hillbilly' family who live close to the manor is a vile depiction of poverty and sociopathy.

5. Hotel

Image result for ahs hotel synopsis

Hotel was definitely one of the most curated and art directed seasons of them all – and with it came Lady Gaga stepping in to a lead role. Based on haunted downtown LA hotels likt the Cecil hotel, the art deco grandeur of the set was a decided treat. The show's vampire theme definitely didn't thrill me as much as the historical scenes, where we looked back into the past at the crimes of some of America's most notorious serial killers. As a true crime fanatic, the dramatisation of these terrible crimes was both horrifying and highly interesting.

The interwoven plots of the past and present of the Hotel Cortez keeps you on your toes, and the fantasy aspect of the succubus theme is wild. Bonus points for the styling of Lady Gaga's character in this one.

6. Freakshow

Image result for ahs freakshow

Freakshow was one of the best series concepts AHS has seen, but there was almost too much going on in this season to truly appreciate one plot line from the next. Also, the villain in this season kept changing, which was a highlight on the one had  as it meant that you were never bored, but it also removed the air of intrigue slightly, as one villain was foiled another sprung up in its place. The Morbidity Museum was utterly terrifying, and the entire show spoke to the distasteful human interest in things that are 'freaky.'

The subplots of suppressed sexuality and old-timey prejudice against anyone or anything that was different were the most enthralling, and while Dandy made for an incredible villain, his mother Gloria was easily one of the most twisted and pathetic characters (in a good way) the series has ever portrayed.

7. Cult

Image result for ahs cult

The most recent season of AHS comes in last, not because it was bad, by all means it was another amazing season, but because I, and a lot of AHS fans and forums, feel that it just wasn't executed as well as it could have been. The season follows the aftermath of the 2016 Presidential election, and the reactions of the residents of a small town in Michigan.

It delves into the rise of Kai, a seemingly alt-right leader who attempts to provoke rage in all things he does,. His cult of killer clowns terrorises the city, and the entire season highlights the connection between power and corruption. Despite the weird, borderline incest plotline, Billie Lourde shines in this season, and the filler episode with Len Dunham as Valerie Solanas is actually pretty cool, but I so wanted MORE from that thread, especially when mention of the Zodiac Killer arose.
