Penneys has come through this season, with a selection of the most delectable A/W coats we've seen in a long time.

The designer-inspired pieces look high-end AF, and we're struggling to choose our favourite style.

While this rainy day would be the perfect time to invest in a new coat, these pieces won't be in store until the end of August, so we have a bit of time to pick our trophy coat for the upcoming Autumn season.

Check coat €40.00, PU aviator  €40.00

Brown faux fur collar coat €50.00, Shearling Coat €30.00

Slogan back padded  jacket €25.00,  Pink shaggy faux fur coat €45.00

Okay, nobody panic, but iconic makeup tool creator Real Techniques is currently on sale in bargain store Dealz.

This is not a drill, the brushes have been spotted in multiple different stores across Ireland for a fraction of their original price.

There are two sets currently stocked in the store, and we're dying to get our hands on both.

The first is a five-piece eyebrow set, which includes everything you could need to get the perfect Instagram brow.

The second is a triad of versatile sculpting face brushes, which looks to include a buffing brush, a fan brush and a foundation brush.

Trio sets of brushes from the brand usually retail for about €20.00 each, so this sculpting set is an amazing deal.

However, the brow set retails for €9.56 on the Real Techniques website, so it's pretty much the same price, however, you will save massively on shipping costs.

Beauty and fashion blogger Meggan VanderMeulen of Cardigan Jezebel first spotted the brush sets in Dealz, and shared the exciting news with her fans and followers.

According to her comment section (which is hopping by the way) the brushes are real and are in store now.

Sharpen those elbows…

While we may all have that Friday cheat day feeling, we do have majorly good intentions when it comes to healthy eating.

Dublin-based blogger Holly White is the definition of the picture of good health.

Passionate about wellness, natural beauty and plant based eating, the journalist turned stylist is a true inspiration to add more greenery to our plates thanks to her beautiful Instagram account. She is also the co-creator of Nutmost, a healthy snack range.

From her favourite food to what you can find in her fridge, Holly shares with us her eating habits and super healthy lifestyle.

What is your typical weekday breakfast?

If I’ve been to the gym I make a smoothie with Welleco Vegan Protein, berries, spinach, a banana, Udos oil and water. I’ve tried a lot of vegan proteins and this is the nicest tasting one I’ve found. It’s really delicious and organic.

Otherwise I have porridge made with jumbo oats soaked overnight. I top this with some coconut yogurt, berries and seeds. I think oats are a really reasonable staple food. A bag keeps us going for weeks.

What about lunch?

Lunch will be some leftover roasted veggies from the night before thrown onto salad leaves, lots of balsamic dressing, hummus and maybe some rye or sourdough toast.

I’m a big believer in bulk cooking dinners for saving time and avoiding temptation, which doesn’t always work out but I do try!

What do you usually have for dinner?

Dinner is my favourite meal. Usually we will have roasted veggies, sweet potato wedges, salad and some chickpeas or tofu. At the moment I am really into marinating tofu, and cider vinegar and tamari works so well. I also love roasted cauliflower and I use lots of different herbs.

I always make sure to have a vegan protein, lots of leaves and something warming and comforting like the sweet potatoes or roasted vegetables.

Most nights I’ll have a few squares of dark chocolate with some tea afterwards also.

Is it different at the weekend?

Totally. At the weekend we might of out for dinner of if it’s a Sunday and we go for brunch we tend to pick on snacky food in the evening afterwards. There’s no routine and I love that.

Do you snack during the day?

Well I do love Nutmost, which is an activated almond product myself and my husband co-created. The Himalayan salted ones are my favourites. I also love a good energy ball and if I’m having a busy day I’ll try find time to stop and have an almond milk latte.

I try to only drink 1 coffee a day and I do genuinely savour it. We got given a Nespresso for our wedding and the temptation is now there daily in my kitchen!

I also make my own Kombucha. I did a 10 week course on raw food and fermentation and love having this most days also.

What would be your ideal food day?

In an absolutely ideal food day I’d have pancakes for breakfast with loads of coconut yogurt, berries and almond butter and an almond milk latte.

For lunch I’d head to the Happy Pear in Greystones for a feed and I’d skip dinner and go straight to dessert and have my raw lemon and raspberry cheesecake!

The one food you could have everyday for the rest of your life?

I’m really into a good smoothie. I could live on those for the rest of my life.

What is your favourite dessert?

Our wedding cake is the nicest dessert I’ve ever had. It was a raspberry and chocolate raw torte made by Susan Jane White.

It’s on the cover of her second book The Virtuous Tart. We served it with fresh Wexford strawberries and Nobo Salted Caramel. It was so good! Vegan or not everyone loved it!

What is your favourite meal of the day?

A Saturday morning breakfast is the nicest moment of the week for me. I love taking time, maybe getting the papers and staying in my PJ’s as long as possible.

All you need to make your good morning a great morning

Your favourite restaurant in Dublin/Ireland/the world?

My favourite restaurant in Dublin is Sova Food Vegan Butcher off Camden Street. The owner Bart is incredible. We first went when he had a pop up in Rathmines and it’s amazing to see him now having one of the busiest places in Dublin. It’s BYOB and the food is so beautifully presented and a great addition to the Dublin food scene.

In Galway, I love Ard Bia at Nimmos and also Orso in Cork. Both do such great locally-sourced food and have real charm and character.

In LA I love Café Gratitude. It’s a vegan hub and full of a really eclectic mix of people and incredibly delicious food.

When I first ate there I was blown away by things like vegan cheesecake which is made with cashews and has the same texture but didn’t give me the bloat that normal dairy cheesecake did. I found it very inspiring.

The best brunch place in Dublin?

I love Two Boys Brew. We’ve gotten to know the guys behind it from going in and out a few times and they’re lovely.

It’s a really exciting time for food in Ireland and I love seeing so many entrepreneurial people who are passionate about doing things well.

Everything there is fresh, locally-sourced and they have no problem tweaking things to make sure you get exactly what you want.

Any “food pet peeves”?

Poor hygiene and presentation or bad service in any restaurant.

I feel if you are paying for something it should be nicer than what you could do at home.

What food would you not eat for the whole world?

I’m vegan for the past 3 years so meat would now be a big no for me. I’ve no interest and don’t miss it and giving it up has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

What can we always find in your fridge?

Loads of coconut yoghurt, berries, sweet potatoes, avocados, lots of roast veg leftovers and some dark chocolate.

You have friends over for dinner, what do you cook for them?

I love the idea of letting people help themselves so will always serve things buffet style.

I try to prep as much in advance so as I can actually enjoy the evening so ideally I would do a few Ottolenghi style salads, loads of dips and hummus, great bread and a simple main like a veggie curry.

I also think if someone offers to bring something say yes! You don’t have to kill yourself preparing for a dinner party!

Otherwise I’d probably serve fresh strawberries and a good vegan brownie for dessert with some Nobó – which is a dairy free Irish ice cream company. !

Toasting to a happy honeymoon!

Do you find it hard to eat a healthy diet in a daily basis?

Working from home I find it hard to avoid constant snacking throughout the day. Whenever I am avoiding something or stuck I find myself making more and more cups of tea.

I definitely think if you can get organised food wise you save so much money. I’d say I eat well about 3 days out of five during the week. I go to a lot of events with work and if there’s treats on offer it’s hard to resist.

What is your guilty pleasure?

A glass of Champagne and some dark chocolate is always a treat or I love Booja Booja – which is a dairy-free ice-cream you get in health food stores. The raspberry one is amazing

Your favourite place for a drink in Dublin?

I love Peruke and Periwig on Dawson street. It’s really intimate and so creative.

Just when you thought the fidget spinner craze could not possibly get more ridiculous – BOOM, lip gloss.

That's right ladies, there are fidget spinner lip glosses now available to purchase.

Introducing the Glamspin – a collaboration between Buzzfeed Product Labs and Taste Beauty.

The colourful product is simply a fidget spinner with three built-in lip gloss compacts that all smell divine, we might add.

Each of the three sections contains a different flavour of lip gloss: Peach Whirl, Strawberry Cyclone, and Grape Twist (all names with the fidget spinner in mind!)

The Glamspin costs a tenner, and while they currently don't ship to Europe, it is definitely on the cards, so there is hope.

The Glamspin will begin shipping to the U.S in mid-July, so hopefully we should see this bizarre invention on our shores before the end of the summer.

This isn't the first time we've seen the fidget spinner affect the world of beauty (obviously!), remember when Beauty vlogger James Charles tried to contour with a fidget spinner?

Oh and let's not forget that majestic nail art that Natasha Lee created, that included a a real miniature spinner.

And if you fancy something a little bit more high tech Google dropped a fidget spinner app on its website recently – so get spinning!

Kendall and Kylie Jenner have been hailed as style icons, and their Kendall + Kylie collection often sells out completely.

However, their latest 'vintage' style T-shirt collection was a massive misstep.

The teenage duo used imagery of iconic musicians Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur in the designs, superimposing their own faces and initials over the icons.

A post shared by Voletta Wallace (@volettawallace) on

Twitter was quick to drag the sisters for their use of the rappers in the designs.

Biggie Smalls's mother, Voletta Wallace, also called them out in an Instagram post.

'I am not sure who told @kyliejenner and @kendalljenner that they had the right to do this,' she began.

'The disrespect of these girls to not even reach out to me or anyone connected to the estate baffles me.'

'I have no idea why they feel they can exploit the deaths of 2pac and my Son Christopher to sell a t-shirt. This is disrespectful , disgusting, and exploitation at its worst!!!'

After less than 24 hours, the designs were pulled from the website, and Kylie issued this apology via Twitter.

'These designs were not well thought our and we deeply apologise to anyone that has been upset and/or offended, especially to the families of the artists.

'We are huge fans of their music and it was not our intention to disrespect these cultural icons in any way.'

'The tee shirts have been pulled from retail and all images have been removed.'

'We will use this as an opportunity to learn from these mistakes and again, we are very sorry.'

The shirts, which originally retailed for $125.00, were a major blunder for the Kardashian-Jenner brand.

Twitter has collectively come together to pay homage to the birthday of a very beloved little boy.

Ollie has been suffering at the hands of a bully, so his amazing parents took to Twitter to ask the social media sphere to lend a hand in making his birthday extra special.

'Strange request. Anyone know anyone famous/well known who could send Ollie a positive/9th birthday message,' his Dad tweeted.

'The bully keeps saying to him that everything O has, he has bigger/better/more often. O excited for his birthday but keeps being told it won't be as good as his own.'

'I would be so grateful and I appreciate it is an odd request. Just would love someone to tell him he does mean something and bullying is not.'

The response was immediate, with Olympic athletes, YouTube superstars and TV personalities alike responding to the thread.

'Guys this has gone crazy and I appreciate all the wonderful messages,' his Dad tweeted after the thread went viral.

'No names have been mentioned other than me & my children. I just want to keep it like that, some people will know the bullies and I hope they keep names out of this.'

'I started this with no malice and certainly did not expect the reaction it has received.'

'I for one thank each & everyone of you. I will respond as and when I can, I promise. Please just be kind to each other'

One of our favourite responses came from Irish airline Aer Lingus.

The flight company tweeted Ollie a picture of one of their planes, and one Twitter user tried to call them out for it.

In a Twitter triumph, they Tweeted back a hilariously sassy, passive aggressive response.

Whoever is managing the Aer Lingus Twitter is a hero in our eyes.

However, the biggest here in this story has to be Ollies amazing parents.

We bet Ollie is going to have the best birthday ever on July 5.

It's only been two years since Ireland legalised same sex marriage, and now Germany is following suit.

The German parliament has just voted in favour of same-sex marriage.

Same sex couples have availed of civil partnerships since 2001, but up until now have not been granted marriage.

A post shared by Laurelle S (@grandpasox) on

The reform grants full marital rights to gay and lesbian couples.

This is including child adoption.

Scenes of joy have followed the announcement, as German LGBTQ community members have taken to Twitter to express their happiness.

However, German Chancellor Angela Merkel did not support the reform.

'For me, marriage in German law is marriage between a man and a woman and that is why I did not vote in favour of this bill today,' she said.

'I hope that the vote today not only promotes respect between different opinions but also brings more social cohesion and peace.'

Stretchmarks, scarring and cellulite are far more common than the modelling industry want you to think.

You'd be hard pushed to find any woman who doesn't have the odd 'imperfection' here or there, yet you'll rarely find this portrayed in any magazine or ad campaign – until now.

Online fashion retailer ASOS, have been praised for using untouched photos of models proudly baring stretchmarks on their legs.

One eagle-eyed Twitter user spotted several photos on the swimwear section of the site clearly showing the models' natural bodies that have escaped the usual airbrushing process.

After sharing her discovery with the rest of the twittersphere, many customers have thanked the company for helping to make 'natural' be seen as 'normal'.

While the industry still has long way to go in representing all body types, this is definitely a step in the right direction.

Kudos to ASOS for making strides toward body positivity – hopefully more retailers will follow suit.

Work wives and work husbands – we've all had them.

They're the people that make those long days more bearable thanks to your inside jokes and mutual hatred of the noisy coffee machine.

Sure, you might send the odd “dreading tomorrow” text on a Sunday night, but for the most part, the relationship is confined to working hours.

So, why is it that most of us choose to keep our partners in the dark when it comes to our workplace friendships?

A study conducted by totaljobs asked 4,000 employees and employers across the UK a series of questions to find out how relationships develop and play out in the workplace.

Results showed that 65 per cent of participants had at least one office bestie, however only 17 per cent admitted to having a work husband or wife.

It seems people felt uncomfortable with the term and instead referred to their favourite co-worker as 'my buddy' (38 per cent) or 'my colleague' (28 per cent).

And while the vast majority of work spouse relationships are purely platonic, less than half of people said they had actually introduced their work partner to their actual partner.

In fact, only 36 per cent of participants were aware of their partners work spouse.

The study also revealed that having a close friend in the workplace actually has a huge impact on your attitude – for better and for worse.

60 per cent said that they looked forward to seeing their partner in crime at work everyday, while almost one quarter said they would consider leaving their job if their BFF was to quit.

However, it's not all good news. It turns out that 50 per cent of workers with a professional other half were actually more dissatisfied with their workplace when compared to those who had multiple close friends.

According to Marie Claire, communication expert Judi James, warned of the dangers of a work marriage, saying, "Aligning yourself to one ‘best friend’ in the workplace might increase your feelings of security and comfort but it can cause hell for your colleagues, who could even find your exclusive little double act threatening."

"By creating your own ‘in crowd’ of two in the midst of a larger social pack you risk making the others feel like the ‘out’ crowd. Apart from all those shared jokes and banter and the way you have one another’s backs, there’s an implicit hiccup in the overall hierarchy that can be seen as unfair."

So, if you've ever been jealous of a close bond shared between colleagues, don't be. Chances are they're dying to branch out.

The British government will fund abortions for Northern Irish women who travel to England, it was today announced.

The news, announced by Chancellor Philip Hammond, comes following mounting pressure from MPs calling for the government to provide funds to those women who are forced to travel for terminations.

Northern Ireland remains the only county in the United Kingdom where abortion is illegal, expect in cases where the life or mental health of the mother are at risk.

Should a woman wish to have an abortion, she must do so privately and travel to England at her own expense, despite paying UK taxes, which contribute to the NHS.

A proposed amendment to the Queen's Speech, coordinated by Labour lawmaker, Stella Creasy, gathered widespread support throughout the House of Commons.

The proposal asked the government to ensure "the provision of adequate funding and guidance so that all UK citizens including those from Northern Ireland may access medical services including abortion procedures in England if they so wish without charge."

However, it is thought that today's announcement will be enough to satisfy Tory MPs enough to ensure that Ms Creasy's amendment does not pass, or she withdraws it.

The Labour MP took to Twitter to react to today's announcement:

Charities across the UK and Ireland have also welcomed the move with a spokesperson from the British Pregnancy Advisory Service saying:

"We are absolutely delighted that the government has committed to funding abortion care for women who travel from Northern Ireland to England."

"This is a landmark moment: for years the women of Northern Ireland, despite being UK citizens and taxpayers, have not been entitled to NHS-funded treatment."

Stella Casey has also vowed to help the women of Northern Ireland to fight for their rights in their own country
