As far as trendy addictions go, FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) is so last year. The new widespread addiction is FOBO (Fear Of Being Offline).

Yep, according to a study called Coming Of Age Onscreen – which surveyed 18-24-year-olds in 13 different countries – the majority of young people are totally addicted to their phone.

In fact, 70 percent of people surveyed said they need to be able to check their phones at ALL times. Sound like you?

Here are signs you need to get out of your FOBO funk:

1. The first thing you do when you go somewhere new is check for a Wi-Fi connection and make sure your phone has a signal.

2. And if someone doesn't know their Wi-Fi password, it's just like:

3. You treat your phone like a person with feelings.

4. The first thing you do in when you wake up and the last thing you do before going to sleep is check your phone. And this usually happens while doing so:

5. You sometimes spend the whole day on your laptop and don't realise it until you look up and it's dark outside.

6. If you leave your phone in work, you rather travel all the way back than go without.

7. And don't even talk about planes.

8.You've gone to extreme lengths to charge your phone.

9. And a slow-loading page throws you into a crisis.

10. Losing your phone = losing your BFF.

Pianos, guitars, masks, clothing and… em, fake teeth, were among the items being auctioned at the Idols & Icons: Rock and Roll Auction in LA last weekend.

The collection of ridiculously-rare items were collected by Julien's Auctions, 'the auction house to the stars.'

The teeth up for grabs were worn by Michael Jackson in Thriller and the instruments were among those used by John Lennon, Ringo Starr, Elvis Presley and Nancy Wilson.

There was also the mask that Lady Gaga wore in her Bad Romance video.

But most notable, was Kurt Cobain's cardigan, worn in the 1993 MTV Unplugged performance that won a bid of more than €128,000.

The green mohair cardigan is an item that many fans say defined Kurt as he wore it during one of Nirvana's best live shows. The Grammy-winning performance was one of the band's final performances before Kurt's tragic suicide in 1994.

Other major bids on the weekend included John Lennon's acoustic Gibson J-160E quitar, that sold for €2.2m. three times the estimated bid.

He's in the notoriously tricky Overs category – not to mention that he doesn't get a whole load of love from the X Factor judges either.

But it seems that the wider public is really getting behind Anton Stephens: leaked figures show almost a quarter of voters (23 percent) gave him the nod a week ago – meaning he beat bookies favourite Louisa Johnson (13 percent) by almost two-to-one.

Still, his most recent offering prompted the four-strong judging panel to throw a load of negative comments in his direction.

Indeed, Mr Stephens, who is being mentored by Simon Cowell, has now admitted even he wasn't a fan of the performance.

On the Xtra Factor the singer, who sang a mash of Meghan Trainor’s All About That Bass and Jessie J’s Bang Bang, explained: "I hated it. When I watched it back I just thought, 'Oh My God'.

"All that gold, and very little of me!"

And speaking about the song choices, Anton described singing them as like "wearing shoes that aren’t your size".

Nick Grimshaw had earlier stated that the staging as "like watching a really bad musical". "Those two songs are the worst songs you could have done," he added.

The same figures, obtained by The Daily Star On Sunday and collected on October 31, show that Seann Miley Moore made it into third place – just 1 percent behind Louisa.

However, despite this initial popularity, shockingly he went home last night as part of double-elimination special.

We've all been there… a couple of times. Whether it was in Primary or Secondary school, you more than likely came across a test question that made you think, "I can't even."

Whether the question was difficult or just plain stupid didn't really matter, you just had to try put your best response on the paper.

But these days, some kids answer these questions in probably the best way possible.

One parent in particular uploaded their child's test answers to Imgur and in less than 24 hours it has racked up more than 3m views – because basically, the kid totally shut the test down:

These other kids also have a badass attitude to answering questions:

This teacher needs to be more careful wording her questions:

Just deal with it:

Because 'or' is totally an answer:

The things we do for love, huh? And it seems Zooey Deschanel will do a lot for love as she has made a huge gesture for her husband, Jacob Pechenik.

Us Weekly reports that the New Girl star has converted to Judaism at the request of her new hubby. But in the past, Zooey didn't identify with any one particular faith.

“I don’t attach myself to any one religion,” said the 35-year-old, whose mother is Catholic and father is Quaker.

“My family is liberal. I was raised in the ‘you can be whatever you want’ kind of way. And in the end, I was like, ‘Eh.’”

But now that she is married to Jacob, the new mum has professed a new set of beliefs. "Zooey converted to Judaism for Jacob," an insider told Us. "They're loving the baby and the marriage!" the source added.

Ms Deschanel married Jacob in June of this year and the newlyweds welcomed their first child, Elsie Otter, in July.

When asked why she picked her daughter's name, Zooey said, "We just really liked the name Elsie and then we both love otters, they're very sweet and they're also smart," she shared. "They use tools…they hold hands while they sleep…They're wonderful animals."

Hey, we've all been there: a serious case of the late-night munchies when you feel you could consume half the chipper menu and STILL have room for a round of buttered toast when you get home.

But even we are feeling somewhat overwhelmed by one offering from Aarons takeaway, in Kilsheelan Co Tipperary.

Spanning a metre in length and filled with chicken, chips, kebab meat, sausages and salad, a total of NINE white wraps were needed to complete the monstrosity.

Sharing a snap on its Facebook page over the weekend, the eatery revealed that it had whipped up the feast for a hungry local customer, Jamie Cornin, who parted with €30 for the privilege.

The same takeaway gained notoriety on Friday evening when it created an unreasonably GIANT burger.

Consisting of 850g of fresh beef mince and 125g of chicken topped with cheese and salad, (we're frankly pretty horrified by the size of it) it costs €14.

The burger is also in the market for a name, with the winner being gifted with a €25 voucher for Aarons (that's almost enough for a giant wrap!).

Meanwhile, there is sadly no word yet on whether Jamie managed to polish off his personal, meat-filled banquet. If he did – we just hope he's OK.

Bras are tricky business. Finding the right size is only half the battle, because even the most perfect bra has its flaws. Falling straps, poking underwires and tricky necklines are just some of the problems we have to deal with every now and then.

But instead of moving on to a new bra (which is mighty expensive), we've come across some hacks that will hold your bra tight until the very end! Never have a pesky bra problem again:

1. Use a paper clip to pin straps

Instead of buying a racer bra or a bra clip, using a paper clip works just as well to pin your straps together temporarily.

2. DIY a bra extension

Low-back dresses and tops are super cute, but they're totally ruined when your bra strap shows. Instead, use an old bra to make a bra extension. Here's a video to show you exactly how to do it (it's actually quite easy!).

3. Stop straps from digging into your shoulders

This can be the most annoying thing EVER, especially if your straps are small. But shoulder pads for bra straps are actually a thing (who knew?) and will totally change the way your bra feels on you. Hello comfort!

4. After washing, lay your bra FLAT

If you hang them up they will lose their shape. And never put them in the dryer – the heat will cause the elastic to wear away faster.

5. Store your bras with the cups open

Never fold one cup into the other because it destroys the fibres in the moulding, resulting in a tangled and bumpy bra. And nobody wants that.

6. Use foam padding to fix underwire

It happens to all of us, but it's still super annoying when the underwire of your bra pops out and pokes you. Grab some foam padding plasters from your local pharmacy and stick it around the small hole in your bra. Simple!

Ever get in that mood where you just need something sweet to ease those sugar cravings? Yup, us too.

The hard part is, of course, choosing a snack that's not going to send your blood sugar skyrocketing or ruin all your hard dieting work.

That's why we LOVE the idea of frozen yoghurt bark, made from chilled greek yoghurt instead of chocolate. It's oh-so moreish, but fairly guilt-free too.

The recipe below uses mixed frozen berries, cacao nibs and coconut flakes but the options in terms of toppings or add-ins are endless.

You can use any combination of fruit-and-nut flavourings to add sweetness and crunch. Some of our favourites include raspberry and pistachio; cranberry and walnut or even slices of frozen banana with peanuts.

Frozen Yoghurt Bark

Ingredients

  • 500g greek yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 100g frozen mixed berries (eg. blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
  • 2 tbsp cacao nibs (or any chocolate chips/pieces you prefer)
  • 1 tbsb coconut flakes

Method

  1. Line a baking tray with parchment paper or foil
  2. Mix yoghurt, honey, cacao nibs and coconut flakes together in a bowl
  3. Spread 3/4 of mixture evenly onto baking tray
  4. Drop berries onto mixture
  5. Spread remaining yoghurt mixture on top
  6. Freeze for 1.5 hours
  7. Cut into bars or squares.

These can be wrapped in clingfilm and frozen for later use if you wish

It seems like Justin Bieber is having a particularly bad few weeks.

First, he stormed off a Spanish radio show when the hosts asked him a line of awkward questions and then he ran off stage at one of his concerts because a fan annoyed him.

But that wasn't the end to the 21-year-old's bad behaviour as new footage of him flipping a chair over in a crowded restaurant has just emerged.

The short video was taken in Cannes, France over the weekend:

However, Justin went on to Twitter to defend his actions:

AND then, he even used the incident to advertise his new album:

Oh, Justin, you never fail to humour us.

The internet is evidently a constant source of celebrity: bolstered by the likes of Instagram and Snapchat, we all now have a wealth of famous faces at our finger-tips.

But access to big names is a notoriously mixed bag.

Who would have thought, for example, that Rihanna and Beyonce are so happy to be photographed, while Blake Lively is somewhat more aloof?

That's not all that Big Apple-based paparazzo Miles Diggs, who runs 247Paps.TV with his business partner, Cesar Peña, revealed in conversation with the New York Post.

In fact, he laid bare the celebs that he and his ilk love to snap… and the ones they definitely don't…

The stars paps love:

1) Taylor Swift: “The smartest businesswoman in the business.” Her bodyguards arrange all the paps in a line outside her front door so everyone gets a clear shot when she enters and exits in immaculate outfits. “If you don’t get eye contact, your camera wasn’t working.”

2) Kim Kardashian: “She’s top of the food chain,” with even nonexclusive shots of Mrs West worth $300 to $1,000. Plus, she gets a majority cut of exclusive photos she sets up with photo agencies. “She’s trying to coach [half-sister] Kylie to give up photos more because the family needs somebody out there while she’s on maternity leave.”

3) Nicki Minaj: “When she’s feeling herself, she’s going to walk out and walk real slow, almost do a pose like a red carpet on the middle of the sidewalk.” Shots of Minaj wearing colored wigs and cartoon-style outfits are easier to sell.

4) Rihanna: A favorite. Friendly, always impeccably dressed and down to earth. She hangs out at restaurants and bars without security, and often into the wee hours. “She’s an eight-hour wait waiting to happen.”

5) Beyoncé: “She’s great if she wants to be shot and bad if she doesn’t.” Her bodyguard is known for having the longest arms around, perfect for blocking a shot Bey doesn’t want.

…And those they don’t:

1) Leonardo DiCaprio: “He hates being a celebrity.” He hides his face behind umbrellas or under beanies, berets, beards and sunglasses.

2) Scarlett Johansson: “She’s like a female Leo . . . She’s one of the best at spotting paparazzi. Her hand goes up, and she puts scarves in front of her.”

3) Alec Baldwin: The notoriously prickly actor has attacked and insulted paparazzi before, but Diggs and Peña say it always seems linked to an upcoming film, play or wedding. “Everything is timely with him. He’s a very calculating guy.”

4) Kristen Stewart: Used to bolt when cameras were near. “I’ve never seen a human being run as fast as Kristen Stewart.” But she wasn’t fast enough to escape the shot of her making out with married director Rupert Sanders, which ruined her relationship with Robert Pattinson (not to mention his marriage to Liberty Ross). She now has a publicist and is more willing to be photographed.

5) Blake Lively: “She pretends to be a sweetheart,” but Mrs Ryan Reynolds is notoriously hard to find, and if she knows a pap has snapped her, she’ll arrange her own photos and release them for free.

Just last month, they took to social media to insist they were just good pals.

But a new snap of Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki looking flirtier than ever has us thinking we're not quite getting the full story.

The Big Bang Theory co-stars, who did date back in 2009, were partying together in Los Angeles on Saturday night – and no doubt a few eyebrows were raised when Johnny posted this selfie to Instagram:

"Hilarious night out in the LA Arts District w/@normancook #BFFsbite," the actor wrote alongsid ea picture of him biting a laughing Kaley on the neck.

The pair are both free agents these days, after Kaley filed for divorce from her husband Ryan Sweeting back in September.

It's thought the couple's shock split was related to Ryan's addiction issues, in particular his dependence on prescription painkillers – something which only became an issue when he injured his back shortly after their December 2013 wedding.

But despite her ongoing flirty friendship with Johnny, Kaley has been keen to make it clear nothing is going on.

"So sorry to disappoint, but no home wreckers or secret flings going on here," she wrote next to a picture of herself and Johnny on Instagram three weeks ago.

"Me and @sanctionedjohnnygalecki are just the best of buds- Leonard and Penny will just have to suffice!!!"

Since when do the "best of buds" bite each other on the neck, though?

As we all know, nail trends come and go; in summer and spring pastel nails are always the way to go, and in autumn and winter it's back to our usual dark hues.

But there's one colour that has been missing for a while now. Madonna wore the shade in her Take A Bow video and Uma Thurman totally rocked the polish in Pulp Fiction.

Sarah Michelle Gellar even gave the polish a shout-out in the first ever episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Yep, Vamp (the shade that even boasts its own Wikipedia page), is back on the market. Chanel has rolled out a holiday beauty collection to celebrate the shade's 20th anniversary and finally, it's available to buy again.

Chanel Vamp Attitude is the limited collection that would make any '90s girl's dream come true.

The collection comes complete with Vamp-inspired eye-shadow palettes, lipsticks, glosses, polishes and of course, the beloved Vamp itself.
