Naughty Boy might be getting along well with Beyoncé right now, but in not so distant past he was in the middle of very public feud with Zayn Malik.

The two were reportedly working on music together that would launch Zayn’s solo career after he left One Direction, but things took a turn for the nasty. Now Naughty Boy is speaking out for the first time on his apparently ongoing feuds with the boyband and one former Directioner.

He sat down with Lorraine Kelly to talk about his recent collaboration with Beyoncé but when Zayn and the boys came up, he couldn’t hide his irritation.

Talking about how it became “a bit of a circus,” Naughty Boy explained that the reason it all came about was because of how 1D fans accused him of trying to split up the band.

He did admit that he got “a bit caught up” in the whole ordeal.

"When Zayn left the group, I was accused of being the reason why he left. People thought he left because he wanted to work with me.”

He compared the row with Zayn and the band as being in primary school and said he doesn’t feel that One Direction are a band:

"One Direction aren't even a band. They're more like an economy. Not a band.”

He added that he’s not “a tabloid guy” and he doesn’t want to be in the papers, he just wanted to be known for his music, not celebrity feuds.

"I hated the [One Direction spat]. I want to put it all to one side now and move on,” he said before adding that now that he’s working people like Beyoncé he feels like he’s doing his masters.

"This whole year has been such a journey and to end on a note like this – I couldn't ask for more.”

Sunday; late afternoon… you're feeling wholly 'lethargic'. Lying sprawled on the couch watching back-to-back episodes of Botched is all well and good, but there is also the small matter of food to consider.

Lethargic Sundays, after all, have 'calorie mega-splurge,' written all over them (and never mind that Thursday, Friday and Saturday were also 'treat' days).

Yes, the dilemma is not so much whether you will or won't order a take-away (that's a given) – and more whether said take-away will consist of chipper, pizza or Chinese.

And it seems that the rich and famous folk of this world are just like us too (sorta).

For it has now come to our attention that none other than teenager reality TV millionaire Kylie Jenner had a serious case of the munchies on Sunday – and that she evidently fancied Chinese.

But, perhaps unsurprisingly, when Ms Jenner does take-away – she does it with style.

In fact, the 18-year-old splashed a cool €4,500 (say what?) on her cravings: she had a chef from her favourite Beverly Hills eatery make the 45-minute journey to her Calabasas abode to whip up Chinese fare for her and her mates.

Yummy

Philippe Chow is a favourite among celeby-types (including Oprah Winfrey, Bobby Brown, and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner squad).

It offers a prawn starter for €17, while three vegetable spring rolls are a tenner. It's €60 for a whole red king crab in garlic and butter and surf and turf for two is offered at €100. Sides such as broccoli and mixed veg are €10.

So while the food isn't crazy expensive (in a Beverly Hills context anyway), the luxury of having your own chef whip up Philippe Chow snacks in the comfort of your own €2.2m home evidently costs a pretty penny.

Thank you @philippechowbeverlyhills for coming to the house tonight

Ms Jenner was on Instagram yesterday to thank the restaurant for coming out to see her, although some fans questioned whether it really was money well spent.

"Spending $5000 to have them come to your house instead of just goin there is ridiculous," one said, also warning: "She's gonna blow thru her money and then wish she had made better choices."

Everyone these days seems to have serious affection for emojis. Every time an updated collection is announced the whole internet rejoices at the prospect of finally being able to use a unicorn in their everyday conversations.

Taking this love of animated characters into account, Vodafone Ireland has launched their #BeStrong initiative to help combat the problem of cyberbullying.

A survey conducted by YouGov on behalf of Vodafone found that one in every four Irish teenagers has been cyber-bullied. 29 per cent of those teenagers admitted to feeling completely alone and 25 per cent revealed that as a result of cyber-bullying they had experienced suicidal thoughts.

However, nine out of ten teens said that they would find it easier to cope with bullies if they had the support of their friends on social media. While many said they would find it hard to find the right words to use to show support to a friend being bullied, 74 per cent of Irish teens said they would use an emoji to express support for their friend.

The #BeStrong campaign aims to provide teens with a collection of emojis which they can use to show each other support online when. Vodafone CEO Anne O'Leary explained:

"It is difficult for young people to show compassion and support for their friends in words if they are being bullied online. We have all been tongue-tied teenagers at some stage and have difficulty expressing what we feel. I hope that our research and the new emojis will be of some help in the battle against cyber bullying."

The emojis chosen for the campaign were selected by the 5,000 teens surveyed. The selection was designed by Vodafone and its anti-bullying panel which  Berkeley University Professor Dacher Keltner – the psychologist who advised on the creation of the characters for Pixar film Inside Out

The emojis are available for download  and there is also a special video that highlights the importance of teens being able to support one another through instances of bullying.

She has found love with Aussie billionaire James Packer, and now Mariah Carey's ex-husband has also put their divorce firmly behind him.

Yes, TV presenter Nick Cannon appears to be dating Massachusetts-native Samantha Johnson, a gorgeous America's Got Talent contestant (he also hosts the show) who just happens to bear a STRIKING resemblance to his former wife.

In fact, we positively did a double-take!

Not that the man himself seems to mind the comparison. In fact, it is now being reported that Mr Cannon, 34, is delighted that everyone is remarking on the similarity.

A source told Star magazine: "Nick obsesses over how much Samantha resembles his ex. He has gotten a kick out of comparing their smiles."

Samantha was voted off AGT at the semi-finals stage earlier this month. And while the 26-year-old was cautious of being too tactile with Nick on-set, she is said to be more eager to go public in the aftermath of her dismissal from the reality TV show.

Indeed, she took to Twitter early this morning to announce that from tomorrow, fans will be able to fund her debut album.

Nick and Mariah, 45, married in 2008 after whirlwind romance. They went on to have twins – a boy and a girl – together but sadly announced their separation in 2014. He filed for divorce last December.

Ms Carey remains one of music's biggest stars. Having sold tens of millions of albums during her 25-year career, she is worth close-to half a billion euro.

Robert De Niro has been promoting his new film The Intern of late. While not all interviews can be with his new best friend Anne Hathaway, we didn’t expect this one to end how it did.

The actor stormed out of a Radio Times interview after objecting to the interviewer’s ‘negative inference’ in the questions.

The interviewer, Emma Brockes, called the star “depressed” before the interview was cut short. She says he asked her to stop recording their conversation before he started “pacing madly” and then storming out.

She asked the Oscar winner how he avoids falling into “autopilot” mode on set and the actor responded with “negative inference”.

Emma then asked where else he was referring to and he replied: “The whole way through and I’m not doing it. I’m not doing it, darling.”

She says that stuck his head out of the door of the room looking for someone to remove him from the interview before walking out himself. She then asked him where she was being negative:

“The question about being on autopilot – negative inference,” he said. She replied: “Wait, but I asked that question to establish how it is you manage not to be on autopilot.” He repeated: “There’s a negative inference.”

She told the Independent that his combination of “hostility and condescension” irritated her and she “lost her cool.”

"I certainly didn’t go in looking for an argument but when it happened I did think 'at least he’s finally saying something'," she added.

She also admitted that she does have sympathy for the star for having to do such interviews for the film. The Intern follows the story of his character who takes an internship at a fashion website owned by Anne Hathaway’s character.

Not yet released in Irish cinemas, the film has not been getting exceptional praise from critics stateside. The Hollywood Reporter referred to it as a “middling star vehicle.”

The cold weather has hit us! Sob.

Unfortunately, it's only going to get colder as the days and months go on.

But one surefire way to make those chilly mornings SO much better is to have a pumpkin scone with a lovely cup of tea.

Here we have not one but TWO recipes (one is vegan!) for mouth-watering morning scones:

Vegan Pumpkin Pecan Scones with Maple Glaze

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raw pecans
  • 2 cups white flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. Preheat oven to 220*C. Place nuts on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Toast the nuts until fragrant (about 3 minutes). Chop nuts into very fine pieces.

2. Combine the flour, 3/4 of the chopped nuts, baking powder, sugar and salt in a bowl and whisk together.

3. Use a fork to cut the coconut oil into the dry ingredients.

4. Stir in pumpkin puree, milk and vanilla extract. You can use your hands to knead everything together.

5. Form dough into a circle that's about two centimetres all around and then cut into eight even pieces.

6. Separate slices and place on baking tray. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

7. While the scones are baking, get one cup of icing sugar, melted coconut oil, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla  and 1/4 cup of maple syrup; whisk together until smooth and creamy. Drizzle the glaze generously over the scones when done, then sprinkle the remaining chopped nuts on top!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie Scones

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips

1. Preheat oven to 190*C. Line with baking paper and set aside.

2. Mix together buttermilk, egg, pumpkin and vanilla in a large bowl.

3. In separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder and cinnamon.

4. Cut the butter into small cubes and cut it into the dry mixture until it becomes crumby. Stir in the chocolate chips.

5. Add the dry to the wet ingredients, stirring until a thick dough is formed, then knead together.

6. Shape the dough into a circle (or create mini circles) and cut into even wedges. Brush a bit of buttermilk over the top.

7. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

8. While scones are baking you can make a pumpkin glaze. Mix 2 cups of icing sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, 2 tablespoons of canned pumpkin and 2 tablespoons of heavy cream. Pipe or spread onto scones.

As our daily lives get more and more hectic, it can be hard to find time to completely shut off and chill out.

Our phones don't stop buzzing, people don't stop ringing and it seems you just have one task after another to do.

Obviously, this majorly stresses us out, which is why it's so important to take time to treat yourself.

So stay in tonight, shut off your phone and sink into a tub of bubbles. Here are tips for drawing the most luxurious bath at home:

Test the waters

The ideal temperature for a warm bath is just above your body temp, which is 37 degrees. Be sure to use your wrist, not your hand, to test the water as your wrist is a better indicator for how the water will feel when your whole body is submerged.

Set the scene

Bright bathroom lights tell your body it's go-time, not bath time. Light a few candles around the room and on the edge of your bath tub. Visualisation is also a great tool for relaxation so compliment your down time with some chilled music. It will transport you to your own private Nirvana.

Add an oil

Floral scents like lavender, iris, rose and jasmine can help you ease into a relaxed state. Add your favourite oil to the tub when it's about half-full. This will help it even out through the water.

Stay hydrated

Before getting into the bath, set out a bowl of cold water and a washcloth next to your tub. Use it as a cold compress on your forehead and the nape of your neck to help you keep refreshed throughout your bath time. Also bring in a bottle of water to stay hydrated.

Buy a great robe

Nothing jolts you out of a zen state like going from a warm, luxe bath to a cold and threadbare robe. Buy a plush, warm robe or fluffy towels to stop the chill getting in.

It has been almost an entire year since Adele was supposed to release her third studio album, and her fans are getting very anxious to hear some new material from the star.

While it might feel like we haven’t heard a thing from the Grammy winner in years, we might not have to wait much longer.

Her third album is expected to be released at some point this November. However this has not yet been confirmed by the singer or her management as of yet.

No need to panic just yet though, because thanks to the BBC there has been reports that Adele is definitely planning a huge comeback with not just an album but also a TV special.

The Sun reports that there is an hour-long special in the works with the BBC that will coincide with Adele’s new album release.

A source told the paper: “Adele is simply too big just to be part of a green room of guests on a chat show. She deserves her own dedicated programme where the spotlight will only be on her.”

The rumour is that following the scheme of her last albums, Adele is planning to title her latest offering 25. Her last album, 21 was released in 2011 and it is apparently hoped that 21’s success will boost sales for 25.

The source also added about the TV special:  “It’s not like she desperately needs the publicity but you can’t turn your nose up at that level of exposure.”

Meanwhile, bookies are already putting odds on the star to be a headliner at Glastonbury, which doesn’t take place for another nine months. Since speculation about her album’s release date has intensified in recent weeks, she’s become a favourite to make an appearance.

We all treat ourselves from time to time, but when the craving for a certain food won't go away, it may be something to think about.

There's no 100 percent way to figure out exactly why you want to eat a particular type of food at a particular time. It can baffle the best of us!

But some food cravings can hint at nutritional deficiencies or other health issues, according to Joseph Colella, author of The Appetite Solution

While you might not be able to diagnose yourself on food cravings alone, putting your food cravings into context can help to give your body what it really needs.

So consider these triggers the next time you're reaching for the snacks:

Chocolate

If you crave chocolate, it doesn't mean your body has a chocolate deficiency (although we would probably prefer that).

Chocolate is high in magnesium and cravings often indicate that this mineral is low in your body. If this craving strikes, eat foods such as nuts, seeds and leafy greens.

And if you must go for the chocolate (because let's face it, who can resist), choose organic or eat dark chocolate.

Sweets

If you crave sweets you could be experiencing blood sugar fluctuations. When you blood level drops, your body is telling you to give it more fuel.

While eating a handful of sweets might give you a rush of energy for a few minutes, beware, because you will come crashing down.

Instead try fruit, beans or wholegrains to give your body the energy it needs.

Salty Food

Cravings for salty foods like popcorn or chips often indicate stress hormone fluctuations in the body – so getting on top of stress in your life is step one.

The adrenal glands in our bodies help to cope with stress, and in our hectic lives, it often gets worn out. Try meditation or breathing exercises to nab anything getting out of control.

Cheese

A craving for cheese or pizza could mean you have a fatty acid deficiency, which is actually common in most people. Eat foods such a raw nuts, wild salmon and flaxseeds. Regularly eating these types of foods should cut the cheese craving out altogether.

Red Meat

Not surprisingly, a craving for red meat usually means you have an iron deficiency. Women are particularly vulnerable to this during their periods and head straight for burgers or steaks.

Eat more iron-rich foods like beans, prunes, figs and other dried fruits. And if you need the meat, choose a lean or organic cut.
