Bob is the Golden Retriever from Brazil that is making our hearts totally melt right now.

When you usually think “dog” and “bird” in the same sentence, the image that springs to mind is not the most pleasant one.

But not with Bob, oh no. Bob is best friends with all the animals.

Photos of the gorgeous 1 year and 9 month old retriever chillin’ with a few furry friends have gone viral, and you can easily see why.

Earlier this week you may have heard, and seen, pop superstar Ariana Grande in some bizarre footage making her way around a doughnut shop.

While browsing the aisles the singer indulged in some heavy PDA with her back up dancer and also seems to have been licking the doughnuts on display. Standard.

 

There was also some pretty controversial statements to be heard during this sugar filled escapade that appear to have landed the One Last Time singer in some hot water with the public.

In a statement released to Buzzfeed Ariana has tried to explain her interesting behaviour.

"What I said in a private moment with my friend, who was buying the donuts, was taken out of context and I am sorry for not using more discretion with my choice of words."

In the footage obtained by TMZ Ariana reportedly mentioned that she hated America and Americans. Uh-oh.

In the statement, Ariana went on to try and clear up any misunderstandings surrounding that particular comment.

"I am EXTREMELY proud to be an American and I've always made it clear that I love my county.”

When news came shortly following what we’re referring to as The Great Doughnut Debacle of 2015, that Ariana would not be making an appearance at a major event; the MLB All-Star game, eyebrows were raised.

She explains in her statement she cannot attend because of “emergency oral surgery”. She does nto clarify if this has anything to do with the mystery doughnut licking however.

Also, as Cosmopolitan have pointed out with regards the statement, Ariana has not actually apologised for licking the doughnuts in the shop which she had not bought.

It seems like it isn't the first time doughnuts have gotten the star in trouble; check out this throwback snap.

We think this is probably the most bizarre story of the week. So far.

We have only just recently gotten over our excitement about Emma Watson playing Belle in Disney’s latest live-action remake of fan favourite Beauty and the Beast.

However, in recent days there has been even more announcements coming from camp Disney that have us all kinds of thrilled.

Prince Charming, as in the Prince Charming, is going to have his own movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Disney have bought the rights to the project, fitting, seeing as they are responsible for creating quite the Prince Charming figure in many of their previous projects.

Most details regarding the project are “being kept behind a moat” as of right now, aside from knowing that Matt Fogel write the script. Matt previously worked on Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, for those non-film buffs of us who were wondering.

We also know that it’s going to be a “revisionist take” on the traditional fairytale.

Variety reports that “the point of view isn’t that of the prince himself but of his brother who never lived up to the family name.”

We wonder, who would be in the running for taking on the role of the family duo?

Considering Prince Charming has had some lovely portrayals in the past, despite his character being just a tad lackluster compared to his leading ladies, the role of his not-so-charming brother opens up a lot of options for Hollywood actors.

We’ve already thought of a few we wouldn’t mind seeing on the big screen.

The one and only Brian Dowling is about to get hitched, or so his Instagram post would suggest.

The former Big Brother star posted a workout snap where he referred to himself as “the groom to be” and said that the “count down is on.”

We couldn’t be happier for him and his fiancé!

The couple have been together for over three years and Brian recently went on a stag, or “sten” as he called it, to the Greek island of Mykonos.

In an interview with Evoke last year, the 37-year-old revealed the type of wedding that he and his boyfriend would most likely have

“It would be very low-key – we’d legally get married in the UK and then have the circus – the big party – in Ireland.”

Thankfully so much has happened since the interview and with the referendum passing in the interim we think that this is going to be one hell of an Irish wedding!

Attending the premiere of The Gallows, a new film which stars her niece, Kris Jenner was naturally asked about how her eldest child, Kourtney, was in the aftermath of her split from Scott Disick.

And the Kardashian-Jenner family matriarch was refreshingly to the point in her synopsis of the situation. 

When asked how Kourtney is coping, the 59-year-old told Entertainment Tonight: "She's good. Kourtney's good.

"She's hanging in there."

Apparently Kourt, 36, has been left blind-sighted by the behaviour of her partner of almost a decade.

However, after seeing the 32-year-old drinking and partying with 26-year-old Chloe Bartoli in the south of France, she was resolute in her decision: Scott had to go.

Step-brother Brody Jenner has offered his own commentary on the breakup, but otherwise the family has remained absolutely silent on the matter.

It is believed that they wanted to celebrate the couple's daughter Penelope's third birthday, which takes place today, in private before releasing a statement on the matter.

Scott meanwhile has taken to Instagram only to invite his fans to "come party with me" at 1Oak in Las Vegas – although in the face of a massive backlash, he later deleted the post.

Kourtney's sisters Kim, 34, and Khloe, 31, have been rallying around her and her three young children in recent days: yesterday morning the trio enjoyed a morning workout session followed by lunch in Westlake Village in California. 

And though she's put on a brave face, the reality TV star herself is said to be "freaking out," according to Us Weekly source. "She can't believe he’d be so stupid to embarrass her and be photographed all over Chloe," they added.

This year alone, Mr Disick has had two stints in rehab, as well as a hospital stay for alcohol poisoning.

Oh Scott. You just can’t keep yourself out of trouble.

We can’t deny that Scott has a tendency to display some not so desirable behaviour, both in the past and in more recent times. But we also can’t help but admit that he has had some downright delightful one-liners on the Kardashians hit reality series.

While the famous family are keeping quiet about Scott and Kourtney’s split, that hasn’t stopped the speculation regarding his appearance on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

There hasn’t been any word as of yet if Scott will remain on the programme or not, and we imagine if he does disappear from our screens, we might miss him just a little. You can’t deny his love of all things luxury has been the source of a giggle or two over the years.

Ryan Reynolds has to be our number one favourite celeb of all time to watch being interviewed.

And luckily his session with AOL Build to promote his new sci-fi thriller Self/less was no exception.

The 38-year-old Woman in Gold actor gave us a wonderful insight into his stunning wife’s dressing habits while throwing in an overwhelming amount of Beyoncé references.

During the Q&A portion of the interview, one lucky fan (he told her he loved her) asked Ryan “the two most important questions” of his life.

Drumroll please… “How does it feel to have a wife who literally slays it on the red carpet with whatever she has on?”

And number two, “What is your opinion on Beyonce?”

Are you as excited to hear his answers as we are?

Divulging the beautiful Blake’s beauty secrets, Mr Reynolds answered the audience member’s question with all the hilarious charm we have come to know and love.

“My wife knows how to work a red carpet, I’ll say that. She might be the Beyoncé of red carpets,” he joked.

“You guys see the finished product. I see a totally destroyed closet, bedroom and kitchen by the time she walks out the door. I don’t even know how shoes got in the freezer… It’s seriously nuts. There’s kung fu involved. It’s really intense. “

And what does he think about Queen B?

“She is the Michael Jordan of music to me.” Ryan is just LOVING his nonsensical comparisons, right?

“You can’t really say she’s the this of the that, that terrible thing that everybody does. Honestly, she’s the Michael Jackson of Beyoncé.”

It’s okay Ryan, we know what you mean and love you for it!

Back in 2012 Beyoncé was pretty much everywhere, and not a lot has changed in 2015, or did you not hear about that skyscraper being built in Melbourne?

She was also in the headlines when Rutgers University announced that their students would be able to enrol in a class titled “Feminist Perspectives: Politicizing Beyoncé”. Yes, it actually happened.

Not the first time a pop culture icon has made their way into the academics, we should point out. Beyoncé’s husband Jay Z was the topic of a course offered at Georgetown University.

Students study everything including her live performances, they also do in-depth analysis of hits such as Grown Woman and Flawless.

Recently, Jezebel discussed what actually happened in a Beyoncé class, and we were very intrigued.

Kevin Allred, who has been teaching the course for three years, says one of the main questions he wants students to ask is “can something like mainstream pop culture ever lead to progressive social change?”

He also enjoys having highly entertaining discussions with his students about her 7/11 video and how he envisions Blue Ivy in the background “directing the clip from her high chair”.

This led us think about what other famous celebrities we wouldn’t mind getting the chance to study, we managed to narrow the list down, but to be honest, we think Zac Efron and his brother’s abs could have their own degree.

Wimbledon kicked off last week, and since then has seen a host of celebrity attendees. 

We have been waiting patiently each day to see which celebrities turn up, and it seems the closer we get to the final, the more celebs we see. 

Will and Kate left the kids at home today as they attended the Andy Murray match in the All English tennis law club today. Kate, who is known for her Wimbledon attire, wore an elegant red, knee length, L.K Bennett dress.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were seen cheering on Andy Murray in the quarter-final match as they chatted and laughed with each other, while other members of the royal family also sat in the royal box alongside them. 

Also in attendance today, was former English footballer David Beckham with his son Romeo. The father and son wore matching outfits of white shirts and navy blazers and looked adorable sitting side-by-side smiling in the crowd. 

The 12-year-old model was the only one out of four of David and Victoria's kids to be at the match today but we are hoping more of them make an appearance before the competition is over. 

 

​John Legend took a break from his European tour yesterday for a little court-side relaxation with his wife Chrissy Tiegan. The pair went to see number one player in the world, Serena Williams, as she battled it out with her sister Venus yesterday. Serena's players box was clearly reserved for celebrities only as a few seats down from the power couple was champagne papi, Drake. 

Looking extremely Dapper, Bear Grylls along-side his wife Shara were spotted today cheering on Andy Murray. Bear looked handsome wearing a tailored navy suit with a crisp white shirt. 

Hollywood heart throb Bradley Cooper was sitting with Mirka Federer as Roger played on court one. Bradley was seen attending Wimbledon last year with now ex-girlfriend Suki Waterhouse, but by the looks of things, he doesn't seem to be missing her.

After he was spotted in the press area of a Nicki Minaj concert, the internet went wild thinking Taylor Lautner had left his acting days behind him for a career in photography. But it turns out, this isn't so. (THANK GOD)

He was spotted carrying a Nikon and sporting a newly shaved head in with the rest of the paparazzi crew at the wireless festival in London.

People had total meltdowns when they thought the Twilight star wouldn't be appearing on their screens again, but it turns out he was just watching the concert from there so he wouldn't be bombarded by fans.

It seems the camera Taylor was seen using wasn't even his either, so the rumours were just greatly exaggerated. 

Sources close to the actor told TMZ that everyone got the totally wrong idea when they saw him holding the professional camera in London. 

The source continued to explain that Taylor was surrounded by fans in the VIP area so the event security moved him to the press area. 

But most importantly, it has been reported that Taylor's acting career is going great. He's currently starring in the BBC show "Cuckoo" and has two films coming out in the near future.

Giving evidence at the banking inquiry at Leinster House today, former taoiseach Brian Cowen claims that a few years ago Ireland was looking a lot like Greece is now.

In fact, he says that in late September 2008, the banks were just days away from running out of cash completely – something which would have sent the country spiralling into chaos. 

"It was clear that all the banks were running out of cash," he told the hearing earlier today, saying the government then was looking at "days rather than weeks". 

"The issue was going to have to be addressed immediately," the former TD went on to say. "Anglo was running out of cash. We were heading into a very dangerous position."

He continued: "I was coming to the view that given what was potentially at stake, whatever we did would have to have an immediate and dramatic impact in stopping the outflow of funds from banks and indeed reversing the trend if possible."

In an opening statement, Mr Cowen said that allowing Anglo Irish Bank to simply go bust was never an option as that would have had "implications for the whole system".

He said he also feared there would be widespread panic, and a "run on other banks," as well as "irreparable damage to the economy".

Following crisis talks with the International Monetary Fund, on November 21, 2010 the Irish government formally applied for a bailout – and was given €440bn in emergency funds.

There are two things that Irish people love more than anyone or anything else in the world – tea and their mum’s cooking.

But just how far would you go to get a plate of your favourite dinner?

Well, this one Kerry-man ended up in court claiming that he was actually “bribed” with the offer of his mother’s bacon and cabbage dinner.

Donal Cosgrave from Co. Kerry explained to a court that he did not breach an order preventing him from entering his mother’s home as he ate the dinner she gave him on the porch and not inside the house.

The 50-year-old man said that the only reason he went to his mother’s house in Killarney was because she offered him a bacon and cabbage dinner if he cut the grass in her garden.

Mr Cosgrave told the court that this must amount to a bribe because nobody would be able to resist his mother’s cooking.

When the judge asked “was the bacon and cabbage to be given before or after the grass cutting?” Donal replied that it was “before”.

“You have to have a full stomach for hard work… I did not enter the house, I ate the bacon and cabbage on the back porch,” he revealed.

Donal was also apparently expecting the forensic team to show up as he brought the runners he had been wearing at the time to court so he could show that the grass from his mother’s garden was stuck to his footwear.

Mr Cosgrave also revealed that as well as the dinner, his mum gave him “some mustard, and a little bit of dessert.”

The judge has adjourned the case until the 21st of July but Donal has been ordered to stay completely away from his mum’s house, even if he is offered dinner.
