OK, so it's safe to say that Niall Horan is a guy who's has some pretty impressive contacts.

If he's not hanging out with Katy Perry, he's being linked to Ariana Grande.

Then there are his social media snaps with the likes of Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood (standard), Chris Brown (yup), Emma Roberts (natch), Kendall Jenner (basic), Ed Sheeran (but of course) and Demi Lovato (no surprise there).

Still, it seems there is no end to Mr Horan's impressive list of celebrity mates. 

Indeed, early this morning he took to Instagram to share a snap of him and… former Liverpool star Steven Gerrard. 

And it's not like the duo merely bumped into each other. Nope; the One Directioner is in Los Angeles and made sure to swing by Steven's sweet new €25m gaff (yeah, we'd make sure to visit too if we could).

Making his debut on July 18, Mr Gerrard, 35, only recently made the move Stateside having singed a lucrative contract with LA Galaxy.

He is joined in LA by his wife, Alex, and their three daughters: Lilly-Ella, 11, Lexie, nine, and Lourdes, four.

The couple's new 90210 abode – which is being paid for by his club – reportedly has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms as well as breathtaking views of the city.

Meanwhile, One Direction play a San Diego stadium this evening as part of their On The Road Again tour. They then move on to San Francisco and Seattle, before going to Canada.

Mullingar-man Niall isn't the only band-member with unexpected buddies, though. Indeed, Harry Styles and none-other than Stephen Belafonte (aka Mel B's husband) were also hanging out in LA last night. 

Mr Belafonte even posted a video of the pair, saying that they were "back in action baby," – although Harry points out in the same clip that they are also "in a toilet".

5. Love Actually: Your hubby's BFF shows up at your door declaring his love for you WHILE he knows your husband is inside. The term 'cruisin for a bruisin' has never seemed so fitting. 

6. Never Been Kissed: After lying about her age and a million other things, Josie takes an ad out in the newspaper to ask her former teacher to meet her in a baseball stadium to be her first kiss… How do you think the men YOU know would respond to this?

7. Sleepless in Seattle: That's a great idea – queue for three hours in one of New York's busiest tourist attractions for a date that may never show. 

8. The Graduate: You've just tied the knot when the man who was sleeping with your mother shows up, starts screaming your name and waving a crucifix at your friends and family before he locks them in a church.

9. Big Fish: What would you really do if a stranger showed up at your house saying that he's tried to follow you for years… 

10. 10 Things I Hate About You: There is no man in the world that could publicly sing to us in front of our entire school that wouldn't make us want to crawl under a rock.

Kourtney Kardashian had her first public outing as a single mum yesterday when she took her daughter Penelope to Disneyland to celebrate her third birthday.

Joining Kourtney, Penelope and five-year-old Mason were her mum Kris Jenner, sister Kim Kardashian and niece North West, who also had a birthday party there just last month. As for Penelope's dad Scott, he was nowhere to be seen.

It's likely Kourtney banned Scott from joining the family at Disneyland after calling off their decade-long relationship earlier in the week, and so the dad of three took to Instagram instead to wish his little girl a happy birthday with an unusually emotional post.

Sharing a collage of pictures of little Penelope, the reality star wrote, "1 of the only things I'm proud off about myself. Happybdayp."

Scott's sweet message was in stark contrast to his earlier social media posting, where he broke his seven-day social media silence to invite fans to "come party with me this Friday in Vegas." The post caused huge backlash online, with many deeming his message as "thoughtless" and "crass" given the events of the previous few days.

Kourtney reportedly made the decision once and for all to end her relationship with Scott after pictures emerged of him getting flirty with his ex-girlfriend Chloe Bartoli in Monte Carlo.

The eldest Kardashian sister had often said she would stick by Scott through his various addiction issues, but a sources tells TMZ she was "blind-sided" by the Monte Carlo snaps, having never thought infidelity was something she needed to worry about.

SHEmazing! has been following their burgeoning romance with interest for weeks now. 

And, following their very PDA in Las Vegas last weekend, it seems that Khloe Kardashian and basketball pro James Harden are taking their relationship to the next level.

Yes, clearly things are pretty serious between the pair, because they've just made their union Instagram official. 

In an image posted to the KUWTK star's profile, 29-year-old Khloe can be seen snuggling up to 26-year-old James.

They are flanked on either side by Nichelle and Aaron Hines, the athletic stars of E!'s brand new Hollywood Cycle. 

Khloe, who has been a part of the E! group since her own family's reality TV offering began in 2007, was there to take part in a class for the show, as was James.

Certainly, it appears that Ms Karashian's rumoured reunion with estranged husband Lamar Odom, as well as Mr Harden's fledging romance with model Amber Rose, are both on hold for the foreseeable future.

Amber – a former long-term love of Kanye West, now Khloe's brother-in-law – dated the 6ft 5in Houston Rockets player earlier this year after meeting her in Las Vegas.

Giuliana Rancic will say goodbye to E! News after a decade at the helm, she confirmed today.

The TV personality this morning confirmed that she would be finishing up as anchor on the well-known entertainment news show on August 10th, but that she would still return as a co-host of Fashion Police this autumn. She will also continue to work with E! for one-off red carpet events like the Oscars and the Golden Globes.

"For more than a decade, I was fortunate enough to play a role in the success of E! News and will miss my family at the show,” Giuliana said in a statement. "At the same time, I am excited to not only continue as host of two major franchises on E! but also… take my wine and clothing lines to the next level."

The host described this new stage in her life as "such a thrilling time" and thanked the team at E! for allowing her to move on to the "next chapter."

Giuliana's shock announcement comes just five months after she sparked controversy on air by poking fun at singer Zendaya's dreadlocks during a Fashion Police Oscars special. The presenter said she thought Zendaya probably smelled of "weed" and "patchouli," something which did not go down well with viewers and was later heavily criticised in an open letter by Zendaya herself.

The comments, which many said were racist and cruel, led to weeks of drama which eventually saw Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin quitting the show and Giuliana making a public televised apology.

Giuliana also took a lot of flack for her thin frame during this year's awards season, with many saying she looked "sick" and "skeletal" on the red carpet. The host later revealed that her low weight was not a personal choice but was the effect of the cancer-suppressing medication she has been taking since a diagnosis in 2012.

"I look in the mirror and it's hard for me," she confessed to People magazine in May. "I am really thin. I want to look fit and beautiful and sexy, and I can't." 

We'll definitely be tuning in to E! on August 10th… that's going to be one sad goodbye.

While people have always used tattoos and paints as creative body art, the new method that people are using to design their skin is incredibly dangerous.

Most of us are acutely aware of just how bad high levels of sun exposure are for your health. We are forever being warned of the dangers and health risks that exposing ourselves to the sun without protection can cause.

But the latest worrying Instagram trend is seeing people purposely burning their skin in order to create a temporary tattoo.

Really?

A scary number of the social media site’s users have put pieces of cloth, stickers and tape to their skin and let their bodies burn so that when they remove the material, there will be the desired shape left on their skin.

Unprotected exposure to the sun can lead to skin cancer, ageing of the skin and other harmful side effects.

But alas, that is what people are willing to risk for a three-day tattoo.

A lot has happened since Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards got engaged back in 2013. Not only has their relationship been rocked by more than one cheating scandal, in March Zayn also made the life-changing decision to quit One Direction and move home to the UK.

While it's uncertain whether the young couple will be walking down the aisle any time soon, this week they made a huge step together towards long-term commitment. According to The Sun, Zayn and Perrie have signed the deed on a £3m (€4.1m) mansion just outside London.

The luxury home, once owned by a Premier League football star, has six bedrooms and five bathrooms split across two wings. It also comes equipped with an orangery, kennels, a 25-acre garden and a three-bedroom guest cottage, if Zayn wants to have any of his former bandmates over to stay. "They're engaged and need somewhere they can both call home – and this house is it," a source told the newspaper.

The pair have been looking for a house together since Zayn's shock 1D departure four months ago, and in late March were seen viewing a seven-bedroom property in Hertfordshire.

It seems the purchase of a new home is the couple's way of giving two fingers to their critics too – it's Zayn and Perrie's way of letting the public know they are rock solid. "This is a big statement by Perrie and Zayn," the source explained.

"They've had to shoot down rumours of a split after his exit from the band and this is both of them showing everyone just how serious they are."

The lavish home is just half an hour from central London, and the source said Zayn and Perrie both feel it will be a "safe haven" for them away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi. We can't wait for our invite to the house-warming…

Okay… so just WHAT exactly is going on with all these Tyga rumours?

After an anonymous source leaked a bunch of texts and nude pics that were alleged to be between Tyga and a transgender porn star named Mia Isabella, things have gotten absolutely crazy.

The reported “sext messages” between the pair were sent to a number of media outlets, with the source claimed that “transsexual actress Mia Isabella & Rapper TYGA had [an] ongoing relationship for almost 3 years since she moved to LA.”

While it appears that the naked photos are indeed of Tyga's body, he claims that they were not sent between him and Ms. Isabella.

Today it was revealed that the rapper's legal team have brought the case to the FBI as they believe the photos were hacked from either his phone or from someone who he intentionally shared the pictures with.

Mia Isabella released a statement to VH1 where she neither confirmed nor denied the allegations but instead said that “it’s very sad that the idea of a man loving a trans person has to be considered a scandal when all people are equal.”

She also took to Instagram to say “Dealing with gossip, hate & threats – they bet against you when you raise the bet #FukWhatTheyTalkinBout #transisbeautiful.” The post came just hours after Tyga posted a video of himself rapping along to a song with the same lyrics.

With an investigation looking like it may be about to go underway, Mia Isabella has said that she was not responsible for leaking the photos and that she would even assist the FBI in any way she could to try and catch the culprit.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that 17-year-old Kylie is standing by her man and totally believes that he didn’t cheat on her but that the stress of the whole situation is really getting to her.

An insider told HollywoodLife.com that she “is near a nervous breakdown. With her dad changing to Caitlyn and her boyfriend tied up in the mess he is in and the bullying she still receives, her friends are watching her closely.”

Liam Hemsworth seems to finally have someone serious on the scene again after his highly publicised break-up with Miley Cyrus back in 2013.

The Hunger Games star is reportedly dating his Independence Day: Resurgence co-star Maika Monroe, after hitting it off with her in a big way on the set of the film. The pair are not yet official, but sources say the chemistry between them is huge. "Everyone has noticed their mutual affection," an insider told OK! magazine. 

And the main reason Liam is so smitten with the actress? She's nothing like his former fiancée Miley. "Maika is sweet and down to earth, and has a zero drama personality, something Liam was attracted to instantly," the insider continued.

If there was any doubt that something might be going on between Liam and the American actress, they made things pretty clear at a Fourth of July party last weekend. At the bash, thrown by director Roland Emmerich, the pair were all over each other, according to an onlooker.

"His hand was on her butt as she was grinding into him and they were making out at the bar,” an attendee at the party told Us Weekly. "Liam was draped all over her. It was so PDA and in-your-face!"

As for Liam's ex Miley, she has been engaging in some VERY public PDA of her own, after paparazzi snapped her and rumoured new girlfriend Stella Maxwell getting handsy on the set of her new music video. Miley came out as bisexual in the media earlier this year, saying it was something she had known about herself since her early teens.

We're glad to see the former couple have both found new love interests.

Splashing around in the Caribbean Sea mere days ago in a tiny bikini, few bystanders would have guessed her VERY exciting news.

But this evening, Coleen Rooney took to Twitter to reveal that she and her husband are expecting their third child.

The 29-year-old said in the same post that she is due in January.

The duo married in an incredibly lavish ceremony in Italy seven years ago and are already parents to two sons: Kai, five-and-a-half, and Klay, two. 

Manchester United forward Wayne, 29, at the same time sent a similar message from his own Twitter account, saying: "Delighted that me and @ColeenRoo have our 3rd child on the way."

Speaking to Now! magazine earlier this year, Ms Rooney hinted that she was thinking of more children – and that after two sons, she'd love a daughter.

“I would love another baby! I don’t mind whether it’s a girl or a boy but I do think a little girl would complete our family.

“Wayne would love to have a girl because he grew up with brothers.”

And after weathering several relationship storms during their years together – including his infidelity – the teenage sweethearts ensure that they get some alone time too.

"Now that we have two kids, we make sure that we have time together," Coleen recently told Mail Online. "We make sure that one night a week we go out for dinner or go to the cinema."

Following a two week break in Barbados, one of the Rooneys' favourite holiday locations, the family returned to their home in the UK yesterday.

We appreciate that sometimes you make mistakes and your employer is going to be less than enthused about it.

We’re still struggling to come to terms with a New York police officer who managed to get herself on the wrong side of the law three times in six months. The irony is not lost on us.

Stacey Staniland, 29, left the NYPD on Monday after she was arrested twice for drug possession and once for burglary. All incidents occurring since December 2014 reports the New York Daily News.

Each time Stacey faced a suspension, but now she’s going to have to face the charges while also no longer being someone who supposedly enforces the laws she broke.

Stacey’s fellow officers spotted a needle in her bag when she was being asked for her identification after she crashed her motorcycle on Staten Island at the end of June.

When the officers tried to find registration for her motorcycle, it didn’t exist. Stacey had to face a charge of driving an unregistered vehicle too.

A month before hand, officers had found other drug related items on Stacey’s person in Brooklyn.

These weren’t even the first times the former NYPD officer had managed to get her employer ten different kinds of mad. In December 2014, Stacey had allegedly taken jewellery from her boyfriend’s mom, which had been kept at the woman’s home.

So, not only did she break into her boyfriend’s mom’s house, she also tried to steal her necklaces and bracelets. Then she took them to a pawn shop. Not the best way to befriend your boyfriend’s family.

After a half a year of having her legal cases going through court and maintaining a position as a police officer, Stacey has resigned this week.

No word on whether she’s had to hand over her “Little Miss Dangerous” motorcycle helmet along with her badge, but we imagine she might have to let that go.
