Jamie Dornan had a little explaining to do recently when he revealed he’s actually no stranger to a sex dungeon. What?!

OK, so apparently it was all in the name of art, but that doesn’t make it any less kinky.

The 32-year-old actor, who will be playing Christian Grey in the upcoming flick Fifty Shades of Grey, admitted that he visited a sex dungeon as a form of research for his highly-anticipated performance in the 2015 film.

Commenting on his experience, the Irish actor said: “I went there, they offered me a beer and they did…whatever they were into. I saw a dominant with one of his two submissives.”

If you think that sounds a little dull, you’re not the only one. Jamie didn’t seem overly impressed either, revealing that he had tried to inject a little entertainment into the evening, saying: “I was like: ‘Come on guys I know I’m not paying for this, but I am expecting a show.”

It sounds like the cold hard reality of a real-life sex dungeon mightn’t be for him though as he admits: “Going back to my wife and newborn baby afterwards… I had a long hot shower before touching either of them.”

We probably would too, in fairness.

To celebrate, we had a look at five of the most underrated characters ever:

Anyone who puts Nelson in his place is fine by us

Hans is actually only 31-years-old, and has aged due to drinking. So if that doesn't put you off your 12 pubs…

3. Brandine Spuckler
For someone who's had a rumoured fifty children, she doesn't look half bad

4. Jessica Lovejoy

Associate Fashion and Beauty editor of Bustle magazine, Marie Southard Ospina, is the latest person to challenge global perceptions of beauty.

This year, we’ve seen women send their images to photoshopping experts across the globe and requested the photos be altered so that the result fits in with that particular culture’s understanding of ‘beautiful’.

Well, Marie has gone one step further and investigated the cultural link between beauty and weight which allows us to see how many experts altered Marie's size in a bid to make her ‘beautiful’.

Having been judged on her size, Marie says "Stereotypes include, but are not limited to: laziness, selfishness, stupidity, naiveté and even a lower socioeconomic class."

Here are just some of the results of Marie's experiment.

Mexico

Latvia

Despite some obvious alterations having been made to Marie's size in some of these images, she says: "I'm aware that the notion of "thin is the only beautiful" doesn't permeate the entirety of the world."

Evidence of which can be seen in Italy's and Australia's re-touching which doesn't appear to focus on Marie's size as much as other country's did.

What do you make of Marie's investigation?

It has been reported that Selena Gomez threw a tantrum at her best friend Taylor Swift’s 25th birthday party in New York recently.

In the super-awkward allegations, Selena is reported to have screamed and shouted about Justin Bieber, with a source revealing: “She shouted, ‘No one understands me! My boyfriend doesn’t even understand me!’” Other guests were said to have been made to feel awkward throughout the whole incident, and Sam Smith reportedly 'just stared [at her]'.

If the rumours are to be believed, then we really hope Selena is okay, because this does not sound good at all.

Taylor’s birthday was a huge A-list affair, with Queen Bey and Jay-Z in attendance, and HAIM, Karlie Kloss, 5 Seconds of Summer and Kelly Osbourne also showing their faces to celebrate with the star.

Our favourite Roald Dahl book, The BFG, is being made into a film by acclaimed director Steven Spielberg and Dreamworks Studio yesterday announced who’s going to play the lovely Sophie!

Newcomer Ruby Barnhill has been offered the opportunity to play the little girl from London and is understandably overjoyed at the prospect, saying: “I feel incredibly lucky and I’m so happy. Sophie gets to go on this wonderful adventure and I’m so excited that I get to play her.”

The film won’t be released until July 2016. But that doesn’t mean we can’t get excited that our favourite childhood book will soon be brought to life, right?!

Demi Lovato has always been honest about her struggles in the past, especially when it comes to body image. The singer is always on a mission to let her fans know how important it is to have positive body image, and the damage that can happen without it.

Now, the stunning Demi has praised none other than Kim Kardashian for bringing curves back into fashion, so to speak. Speaking to Allure magazine, Demi said: “I really started to accept my body when the trend started becoming less about super skinny models that was completely unattainable for anybody to have. Kim Kardashian, say whatever you want about her, but she has revolutionised what’s accepted with curves nowdays.”

Demi also said that as she has gotten older, she has learned to love her body more, saying she now loves her bum: “Wearing pants that showcase my beautiful assets. It’s my butt. I love my butt. Hopefully it stays that way, cause this ain’t going anywhere.”

Stress can creep up on us without us noticing, especially when things get busy at work or college. This tension can in turn lead to anxiety, mood changes and even insomnia.

How to stop it? Get the stress before it gets you by building a strong mind and body.

Here are a few simple tips to better manage stress and to ensure it doesn't overwhelm you…

1. Eat well to stay sharp and in good shape
Stodgy, heavy carbs like white bread and salty crisps will leave you feeling sluggish and will also cause your blood sugar levels to fluctuate, meaning you're more likely to experience tiredness and mood swings. By eating more whole grains and fruit and veg you'll naturally feel more focused and energised. Avoid overdosing on caffeine – skip the coffee unless you're seriously wrecked.

2. Have a happy cry
Not all tears equal sadness. Having a good cry from time to time can actually help to release the chemicals built up by stress. If you don't have time to sit through Sleepless in Seattle, we suggest a soldier surprise homecoming video – they never fail!

3. Make your exercise work for you
Join a yoga class, get out for a walk or run, or enjoy a weekend cycle. Whatever it is that helps clear your mind and get you feeling energised – do it, and often.

4. Take time to yourself
Surrounding yourself with other people all the time can wear you out. Take time out for yourself – grab your favourite book, take the dog for a walk or just relax. You'd be surprised how quickly it helps.

5. Try herbal stress relief
A herbal tea like chamomile or peppermint can really relax you before bed, or at any time of day. Essential oils like lavender are great for reducing stress – put a couple of drops in your bath or on your pillow to help calm you down in the evenings.

6. Maintain a positive attitude when you can
It's easy to get bogged down in our worries and anxieties, but by making an effort to replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you can learn to better cope with stress. Accept that you cannot control everything and that sometimes things simply won't go to plan.

Rihanna must be celebrating in a big way today!

The singer has always had a serious love for fashion, but she's really taking things to the next level with this newest project. Riri took to social media this morning to announce that she had accepted the role of creative director with sportswear label Puma. The multi-year partnership will allow her to oversee the brand's entire female line.

Although it's not uncommon for celebrities to collaborate with big name brands, Rihanna's role is a legitimate high-level position with the company.

According to the brand's reps, the singer will "design and customise classic Puma styles as well as create new styles to add to the product portfolio."

The Diamonds singer teased the news earlier today with this snap on Instagram, captioned "on the dotted line #PUMA":

Shortly after she revealed her big news with this picture of her getting up close and personal with the Puma sign, captioning it, "the face you make when you the Creative Director of a sportswear company #PUMA":

Speaking about Rihanna's new role and her appointment as Puma's global ambassador, the company's CEO Bjorn Gulden said, "Her global profile, her charisma and individuality, her ambition – all these things make her a perfect ambassador for our brand."

We can't wait to see what she designs!

Miley Cyrus is at it again! Unimpressed by false stories about her, she has taken to Instagram to confirm the stories…sarcastically of course!

In a hilarious post on Instagram, the singer posted a photo of the magazine cover that claimed: ‘Miley’s terror: Pregnant and forced into rehab’, with a caption in her own words that read: “those 3 days off Instagram I got pregnant and went to rehab. I was am super busy sorry guys. I know how much you missed my edits.”

We love how she laughs at herself (and those crazy stories!) Although we're not sure we missed her Instagram 'edits' much…this one is a bit scary:

Miley is currently dating Patrick Schwarznegger and the two have been seen looking very close and very much in love – aww!

We'd never say no to a cosy Christmas sweater, but it is possible to take things too far.

Fairy lights? Yes. Giant 3D Ruploph head protruding from the front of the jumper? Eh… no.

Here are a few of the worse ones we've come across this year…

1. This jumper that was clearly not meant for a grown man
Nice treasure trail!

2. This "sweater-dress"
That's a lot of green felt…

3. This bath mat/festive tunic
There's something about wearing towelling in public that just screams "disaster".

4. These highly impractical candy canes
Imagine the five of them trying to fit in the car together…

5. This springy contraption
Bouncing Santa boobs? Oh, lovely.

6. This unfortunate sweater vest
Why, oh why the polo neck insert?

7. This rude slogan
I don't like your attitude, young lady.

8. This strip club wonderland jumper
Santa loves the ladies.

9. This festive cape
Nothing says "Christmas" like a poncho, amirite?

TOWIE star Lauren Goodger has become the victim of online trolls after her Victoria’s Secret-inspired photoshoot.

While we certainly won’t be posting any of the trolls' cruel taunts here, let’s just say people were less than nice to Lauren about her shoot. The situation got so bad that she actually removed photos and videos of her VS Angel look from her Twitter and Instagram accounts. How awful!

Lauren wore lingerie and even a pair of white wings for her big magazine shoot. She told new! magazine that she had great fun doing it, saying: “I love Victoria’s Secret, I love the wings and the catwalk. I just wanted to have fun with this shoot and I like to take the pi** out of myself.”

The TOWIE star also spoke about wanting a baby, admitting that she had thought she would be a mum by now: “I’ve always loved children. I thought I’d have a baby by now, but it’s not my time and it’s not meant to be.” Lauren was in a long-term relationship with her co-star Mark Wright, but the pair split in 2012 and Mark is now engaged to be married to Michelle Keegan.

We hope Lauren ignores the haters and keeps her head up – nobody should have to endure such cruel online abuse.
