The long-awaited movie Wild, starring Reese Witherspoon, opened in 21 theatres in the States this weekend and looks set to go from strength to strength!

The film based on a memoir by Cheryl Strayed grossed a massive $630,000 and this figure is set to climb. Word-of-mouth and superb reviews meant that Wild, which tells the story of one woman’s 1,100 mile solo hike, was the weekend’s biggest newcomer.

Directed by Jean-Marc Vallee, the man responsible for 2013 release Dallas Buyer’s Club, Reese's latest offering is set to hit the silver screen here in January next year and we can’t wait!
