While us big-bummed girls love our shapely behinds most of the time, there are certain times in life that make us want to scream.

Like these:

1. Being afraid of accidentally knocking over things in small shops with your backside

2. Finding the perfect jeans only to have THAT annoying gap between your waist and jeans. Every time

3. Buying the cutest dress only to realise you should have gone for the bigger size as your bum makes it waaaay shorter than it should be

4. Skinny jeans making you appear X-rated as you walk down the street – why is causal so damn hard?! And don't even get us started on shorts

5. Your bum cheeks always being a little bit colder than the rest of you because they’re so far away. In fact, your hot water bottle spends most of its time warming your bum cheeks

6. Squeezing between tables in small restaurants. There goes the salt shaker…especially embarrassing if you are in fact the waitress

7. Low rise pants – a recipe for ass crack disaster

8. People singing the ‘I Like Big Butts’ song at you – mostly your friends

9. Having to share a chair with someone – ‘nope only half of one cheek is on’

10. People assuming you can get champagne into a glass that’s resting on your bum

11. The absolute stupidity of same-size bikini top and bottoms that means you are forced to buy two pairs

12. Being compared to Kim Kardashian. Come back J-Lo, all is forgiven. Please…

13. Trying at all costs NOT to squat because you heard that makes it bigger

14. Only working out so that your bum isn’t flapping off the back of your knees by the time you turn 30

15. Having your bum grabbed by morons in nightclubs. So not okay

Brody Jenner has heard the rumours about his dad Bruce’s supposed desire to be a woman. While he didn’t go as far as to deny these rumours, he did defend his dad’s privacy when questioned about it.

The rumours began when Bruce started to be spotted with longer hair and painted nails and have since spiraled out of control.

The reality TV star told In Touch that he and father pay no attention to the rumours in the media: “I talk to him every day, but we don’t talk about the rumours in the press.”

Brody also said he has no idea about his dad’s desire to become a woman, saying: “It’s his business, so leave him the f*** alone. He’s living his life and he’s extremely happy.”

Well said, Brody! Bruce has been getting an awful time in the media lately and we’re glad someone close to him has finally stood up and said it needs to stop.

If you’ll excuse the mouthful, trolling couldn’t be more of a trending topic right now. We’ve heard the tale again and again of many different public figures receiving horrific anonymous hate online – and another recurring theme seems to be that social networks are unwilling to take much (if any) direct responsibility for this kind of messaging.

Leanne Woodfull, one of Ireland’s biggest blogging success stories, has had to deal with some horrific personal slurs from trolls. I had a chat with her about dealing with negative backlash, her thoughts on karma and how trolls are allowed to let loose online…

What runs through your head when you get trolled, and how do you cope with the constant threat of it re-occurring when social networks such as Twitter can’t be relied upon to shut down abusive accounts?

It genuinely makes me worry about the human race… and my own generation. It's like people have become completely blind to general human guidelines and morals; the internet has blurred a line that is crossed far too often.

It usually goes over my head now and I block instantly and try and forget about whatever was said but when there is a mob going at you, sometimes you literally just need to step away and switch off from it all.

I like Twitter, but there are far too many loopholes in their terms of service that actually serve to accommodate trolls. The block button does virtually nothing bar letting someone follow you. They can still see all of you tweets, photos etc. if you're not on private.

What has made the link between blogging and online bullying such an issue here? Is this a case of old-fashioned Irish begrudgery?

I honestly think Ireland is a nation of begrudgers, it's an old saying but it's true. People hate seeing others in their age range do something not only for themselves, but also something different. Now don't get me wrong, a lot of people are mature and nice enough to congratulate or at least ignore you if they dislike you, but a large minority of people love nothing more than to hop on the hate bandwagon to be honest. It's really sad to see and experience, especially when we're such a small country – it's too small for the negativity it seems to produce. It obviously happens all over the world but it seems to be extremely apparent here.

Recently, the story of Alanah Pearce reporting trolls to their mothers has gone viral. What do you think of this approach? Is it realistic?

I think it depends on the person to be honest. I'm sure if the parents of some Irish teens saw some of the things said about me in regards to my surgery and depression, they would be absolutely devastated upon finding out that someone they brought up is capable of such viciousness.

However, I'm a huge believer in karma. Sometimes I think it's best to let things blow over – in Alanah's case I believe it was sexual verbal abuse, so that's another thing altogether. When it comes to the regular "X and Y is a bitch, she's ugly, she's yada yada yada" it's best to block and ignore. If you end up hunting down their parents to show them what they say, you're only digging a deeper hole and putting some bad karma out there.

Realistically, businesses and companies have blacklisted many people already due to public trolling – especially in Ireland. Media/ journalism students for example should be aware of the "internet footprint" and that everything you say online, stays online – if you publicly post abuse and your full name/ photos and college is on your website, well, you've kind of already walked yourself into something anyway.

Karma works wonders and to be honest, it helps me sleep at night knowing that because I know people who put out such anger and hate, always get it returned to them in some way or another!

Owner of V+ Modelling agency Vicki Mooney has opened up about a terrifying incident in which she stopped breathing after her drink was spiked.

Vicki appeared on TV3’s Midday earlier today and spoke of the ordeal which saw her collapse after leaving a nightclub, not long after refusing a man’s advances to leave with him.

Her friend performed CPR on her and she was rushed to St Luke’s Hospital in Kilkenny: “I was fine. I had my normal few drinks that I normally had, and had a great night’s dance. There was a guy that evening that had kind of pressured me into leaving with him. I said, ‘no, no, no’, and he was ushered out. Fifteen minutes later we left, and we were 20ft away from the B&B across the road. I remember my arms and legs began to feel weak. It was a strange feeling. I started to fee nauseous and dizzy. Apparently I just hit the floor and I was gone. And Anna [her friend] who was a trained first responder… performed CPR as I had stopped breathing.”

Vicki said that as the weeks started to go by following the terrifying incident, she began to realise what had actually happened to her: “So I was perfectly fine leaving the club ten minutes after everyone was ushered out, but I hit the floor and I don’t remember anything else. I presumed I was [spiked] because it wasn’t one of those crazy nights where there was dancing on tables.”

It has been rumoured for a while now that the Little Mix/One Direction wedding extravaganza was going to be a looong way off – and now it’s been confirmed by the bride-to-be herself.

Perrie Edwards was speaking at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards when she announced that any wedding for her and fiancé Zayn Malik wouldn’t be happening for a long time.

The singer said: “I don’t want to rush it – I want to take my time and make sure it’s perfect! We need time.”

Zayn, meanwhile, spoke similar words in a recent interview, saying that he and his fiancée had just been too busy to plan a wedding: “We haven’t really had any time to sit and organise it.”

So it sounds like it will be a long engagement for the couple who announced their plans to wed in August 2013.

We devote a lot of time to the hair on our head, right?

We curl it, straighten it, condition it, day in, day out, but it looks like we’ve been concentrating on the wrong hair if this latest craze is anything to go by.

Women have recently been taking to social media in their droves to flaunt their fabulously flamboyant underarms and it’s been getting a very mixed response!

Girls from the pro- body hair camp have dyed their underarm hair in an array of colours and, as a result, have had to face many negative comments including ‘Feminists are gross’. Charming.

But, thankfully, more open-minded individuals have backed these ladies, saying: “Finally! I thought I was the only one!”

Whether you’re for it or against it, you have to admit that a splash of colour on a winter’s morning is always welcome!

In case you missed it yesterday, poor Ariana Grande was wacked in the head by a wing during Tuesday night's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in London.

The face she made as she ducked out of the way has now been made into many, many hilarious memes.

Here is the original:

And here is our pick of the best way the internet chose to deal with Ariana's 'scared' face:

1. Ermahgerd, sealife!

2. We know how you feel, Ariana

3. Because NOBODY wants to see that, Drake and Nicki – especially Ariana

4. Ariana will always remember her last visit to Santa. Mostly because it was about two years ago.

5. 'That's not Kim K? What the…'

6. Our reaction every time we watch The Lion King

7. A work of art

8.This is our personal favourite for all the right reasons

9. Ariana wouldn't be a good replacement for Miley, Robin soon realised

10. She's as scared of the One Directioners as we are

Jimmy Bullard is up to his old tricks again!

The former footballer, who left the I’m A Celebrity jungle last weekend, made a surprise appearance on Good Morning Britain as Carl Fogarty’s wife Michaela was being interviewed.

Jimmy sneaked up behind Michaela in his speedos as she spoke with Susanna Reid and Ben Shepard, before waving to the camera and wiggling his behind as he walked away.

Michaela was left collapsed in laughter as Susanna and Ben tried to get the interview back on track. Never a dull moment with those celebs!

A family from Carrickmacross in Monaghan are appealing for the return of a laptop that was stolen from a car in Bayside, Dublin, between 3:40pm and 3:50pm yesterday. However, it isn’t the laptop that the family care about, but what was with it.

The computer bag also contained a red hard-drive full of images of Hannah Smyth and her husband’s twin boys, Laughlin and Ethan, who passed away almost a year ago on December 5th and 11th, respectively.

There are precious family photos that the Smyth family would love to be returned, especially ones of the twins with their older brother Cooper, who is now two-years-old. As the two boys were unwell in the NICU, little Cooper was allowed in to take a photo with his brothers, and his mum explained to Ray D'Arcy this morning about the importance of being able to show Cooper his brothers when he is older.

Hannah spoke a little about the the hard-drive's physical appearance and the importance of its return on Today FM earlier this morning: “It’s called a MyPassport and it’s a rectangle, about 4×3 inches … tomorrow is Laughlin’s first anniversary."

Police have been informed, but Ray urged those in the Sutton area to keep their eyes open for the hard-drive, as it would mean so much to the family to get the images of their precious sons back. Let's hope the public can pull together and find it for the Smyth family before Christmas.

Uh oh, we think a certain Mr. West will not be best pleased with Rihanna after she exposed his big secret on Twitter!

The singer shared a link to a Diamond Ball auction in aid of Clara Lionel Foundation on her Twitter account where one of the prizes up for bidding was the “Kanye West Tour Experience" which includes a meet and greet with Yeezus himself, two VIP tickets to any show of your choosing and autographed tour memorabilia.

Hmm, what tour would that be now? We haven’t heard about any tour! It sounds like Yeezus is going on the road again!

Kanye's fans have been going crazy on Twitter after the revelation, delighted that their idol will once again be taking to the stage:

Somehow we’re not sure he will be taking Rihanna with him!

There is some lovely and happy news today for Rupert Friend and Aimee Mullins, who have announced their engagement!

Aimee, who is first generation Irish-American and actually holds an Irish passport, competed in the 1996 Paralympics before moving on to inspirational speaking and acting. She has been dating Homeland actor Rupert since 2013.

The news broke at the L'Oréal Paris’ Women of Worth awards on Tuesday, at which Aimee had been quiet about the exciting news: “It was really sweet because Aimee was tight-lipped about it earlier in the night, not wanting to take attention from the honourees.”

Congratulations to the couple on their exciting news!
