With the Bank Holiday weekend now upon us, many people will be hitting the roads for a quick trip away.

Here’s how to have fun and stay safe on the roads:

Take a break
We know Ireland is not that big and it shouldn’t take more than 4 hours to get you from one end to another, but make sure you take a break half way. The motorways can get pretty boring and you need to keep your concentration up when driving.

Bring food
Bring food, lots of food. There is something quite adventurous about pulling into a pit stop on the side of the road and having a picnic – well, we think so…

Don’t be the only driver
Seriously, being the only one who can drive can be quite annoying. Make sure at least one other passenger has both a licence and insurance so you can swop and change.

Bring a map
We all have GPS on our phones but what happens when the battery dies? Never thought about that, did you?!

Now go have some fun!

We’re really sad to hear that The Vampire Diaries actor, Michael Trevino is no longer dating long-term girlfriend and Glee star, Jenna Ushkowitz.

The couple have been dating for three years. However, Jenna who plays Tina in Glee revealed recently that she and Michael are no longer together.

“No, we’re not together anymore.”

But it seems that the couple are still good friends, as Jenna went on to say that relationship with Michael is “wonderful”.

Kate Upton is known for her gorgeous figure, so we’re bit surprised that magazine, Harper’s Bazaar would even try and photoshop her arms in the first place.

The magazine shared on Twitter a photo of Kate in a one-piece swimsuit and heels, while she posed by the pool.

But users were quick to comment on the magazine’s obvious photo shop fail that Kate seemed to be missing her armpit.

Those who commented on the picture suggested that it was a poor attempt from the magazine, to try and make Kate’s arms appear slimmer.

The trailer for upcoming 3D animation movie The Book of Life looks pretty magical!

The adorable movie stars the voices of Channing Tatum, Zoe Saldana, Christina Applegate and Diego Lua, and is due to be released this Halloween.

The movie tells the journey of Manolo, a young man who is torn between fulfilling the expectations of his family and following his heart.

Before choosing which path to follow, he embarks on an incredible adventure that spans three fantastical worlds, where he must face his greatest fears.

Lea Michele certainly didn’t hold back when she recalled the time that an old manager told her to get a nose job.

The Glee star revealed on an appearance on the chat show, Chelsea Live that her old manager told her at 13-year-old that she would have to get a nose job by the time she turns 15.

“‘As soon as you turn 15, it’s time for a nose job’.”

Lea thankfully didn’t take her manager’s advice and made it clear on the chat show what she thought of her.

“Obviously, I didn’t get it done. Wherever she is, she can go f**k herself.”

The 27-year-old actress also admitted that she began drinking at an early age but it was seen as a normal tradition for her and her family.

“It makes me seem crazy! I’m Italian, so it was like, at the dinner table it would be Pellegrino, a jug of soda, and a huge thing of wine. So, everyone was just drinking wine, like it was part of, like, you know, what you would have along with your dinner.”

“Growing up, I’d be having dinner with my boyfriend and his parents, and I’d be like, ‘Where’s the wine? Pass the wine.’ At like 17, and they were like, ‘This girl’s crazy.'”

Ah college, you served us well. Now that we have entered the dreaded real world, we have come to appreciate the time we spent in college, lazing away and occasionally strolling around the library.

Here are some of the things we are still mourning about college life:

1. It’s still socially acceptable to be an immature eejit
Not a girl, not yet a woman.

12. College is the last time you’ll have absolutely zero responsibility
The only task you have is to pass your exams, everything else ultimately ends up in the care of someone else.

23. It’s okay to scrounge off your parents
You can call up your parents and ask them for rent (beer) money without hesitation, and they will usually give in to your request.

34. You don’t mind drinking cheap beer and vodka
Tesco finest vodka and gin and maybe some Buckfast for good measure.

We have to admit it, Kim Kardashian looked absolutely stunning on her wedding day and Mr. West himself didn’t look too bad either!

However, it’s Kim make-up that has us interested. As always, it was completely flawless and not a lash or brow hair was out of place.

While we automatically assumed the make-up she went with would have cost a fortune, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that it actually didn’t.

Her make-up artist Mario Dedivanovic has revealed the products he used for the big day including L’Oreal Paris L’Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick by Color Riche a snip at €13.49 and Urban Decay eyeliner called Ink for Eyes at a mere €20.00

For her lashes, Kim also went with Urban Decay. She wore Perversion Mascara which isn’t even out, so she got it exclusively for her wedding.

Finally, ever one to promote her own brand, the now Mrs Kardashian West went with Kardashian Beauty Individual Eyelashes.

We all now have some hope of emulating her beauty!

Taylor Swift has admitted that she is jealous of Ed Sheeran’s voice.

We know, we wanted her to be jealous of a girl too, but let’s face it, these two are never, ever gonna happen. Ever.

In a glimpse of Ed’s MTV documentary Nine Days and Nights, Taylor can be seen saying she is super jealous of Ed’s smooth voice, “The first thing that struck me was his voice. I’ve never been more jealous of anything in my life.”

Aww, we love Ed’s voice too, Taylor!

Ed supported Taylor on her Red tour last year and the two became very close with much speculation that they were dating.

There’s lots of lovely sunshine forecast for the Bank Holiday weekend, so who wants to be stuck in a stuffy kitchen all day!

This yummy white chocolate and strawberry mousse is the perfect sunny day dessert to share….or not…with your favourite people!

What you’ll need:

  1. 750g strawberries
  2. 2 tbsp lemon juice
  3. 225g white chocolate, grated
  4. 7g powdered gelatine
  5. 450ml double cream
  6. 30g ice sugar

What you’ll need to do:  

  1. Place half of the strawberries into a blender and purée until smooth, then add the lemon juice to the bowl.
  2. Slice the remaining strawberries and add to the purée.
  3. Melt the grated chocolate slowly in a bowl over simmering water.
  4. In a small bowl, add the gelatine to about 50ml oz of water and leave to rest for five minutes.
  5. Place a quarter of the cream along with all the icing sugar into a pan and simmer until warm. Add the gelatine water and stir for five minutes over a low heat until dissolved.
  6. Pour the cream and gelatine mix into the melted chocolate and stir until smooth. Add the strawberry purée.
  7. Place the remaining cream into a bowl. Whip the cream until soft peaks form when the whisk is removed from the bowl. Gradually fold the cream into the chocolate and strawberry mix.
  8. Chill in fridge for three hours and serve.

Suki Waterhouse must be delighted with the news that she has been cast in the Divergent sequel, Insurgent.

The model has tried her hand at acting before, appearing in 2010 TV series Material Girl as well as having a role in the adaptation of Cecilia Ahern’s novel Where Rainbows End called Love, Rosie.

Suki is heading over to the dark side and will play the character, Marlene, who is a member of the Dauntless faction.

We’re sure her lovely boyfriend Bradley Cooper will help her practice her lines in time for the 2015 release date!
