Ah, St Patricks Day – the one day a year being raucously drunk is a national right of passage.

If you're felling particularly patriotic, you may want to indulge in a creamy pint of Guinness for the day that's in it, but with Dublin pubs charging through the nose for the traditional beverage, the hunt to award the accolade for the cheapest pint of Guinness began.

The Sweatershop made it their mission to uncovered the cheapest and most expensive pubs in Dublin for St. Patricks Day:

Obviously, the Kardashian family are decidedly unimpressed with Tristan Thompson's behaviour, after it was revealed that he cheated on Khloe for a second time.

One year ago, it came to light that Tristan had reportedly cheated on Khloe numerous times during her pregnancy with their daughter True Thompson.

Two weeks ago, it was revealed that Tristan had cheated again, this time with Jordyn Woods, a close friend of Khloe and the family, and best friend to Kylie Jenner.

'Kanye thinks of himself as the godfather in this family, and he has the mindset that if anyone messes with one of them, they mess with them all, the source said.

'So right now, Tristan and Jordyn are on his list. If he never talks to them again, it’s fine by him. He wasn’t close to them in the first place.'

Speaking of the support he is giving the family, they said: 'He’s protective of the Kardashian women, all of them, and if anyone hurts them, he will always be their biggest advocate,'

The source also revealed that Kim has been Khloe's rock throughout this tough time.

'Kim is the one who is really upset about this. She’s livid. She’s so angry, and she’s 100 percent on Khloé’s side,' they told People.

For the past two weeks, Kardashian family fans have been waiting with baited breath to find out what Khloe was going to do after the awful revelation that her partner and baby daddy Tristan Thompson had cheated on her.

Not only would this be the second time that is was publicly revealed that he had been unfaithful, this time the infidelity occurred with her little sister Kylie Jenner's best friend, Jordyn Woods, who is a long-time friend of the family.

Initially, Khloe seemed to lash out at Jordyn without appointing blame to Tristan Thompson, after Jordyn told her side of the story on Red Table Talk.

However, now it seems that Koko has come to the decision that Tristan is also to blame for the cheating.

While Jordyn claims that she and Tristan only shared one kiss, others claim that the pair engaged in sexual intercourse.

Khloe has now unfollowed Tristan on Instagram – after she unfollowed Jordyn last week.

'Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family.'

'This was Tristan’s fault.'

This tweet is a u-turn from her last public comment on the scandal.

On Sunday, she wrote: 'Why are you lying @jordynwoods??'

'If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story.'

'BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!'

Over the weekend, there was mass speculation after it was reported that Kylie Jenner was suspicious that the father of her child and long term boyfriend Travis Scott had been unfaithful.

TMZ reported that Kylie had discovered some kind of evidence that Travis had cheated on her, and that Travis cancelled a tour date to deal with the situation, however a rep for the rapper denies the claims.

In a statement to E!, Travis's rep 'strongly' denies allegations of cheating: 'The reason he stayed home from his show tonight was very much because of illness.'

Last night, passengers travelling through Dublin Airport were forced to sleep in the terminals as some flights were delayed by a number of hours.

Met Eireann issued a status yellow snow and ice warning, and it followed through.

Following the snowfall across Ireland yesterday, which meant that a de-icing procedure of aircrafts was necessary.

'Some airlines are experiencing delays to their flight schedules as a result of de-icing issues.'

'Passengers are advised to check with their airline for latest flight updates. We apologise for any inconvenience caused,' Dublin Airport tweeted.

Passengers have been sharing their experiences on Twitter, including images of empty food shelves in the food hall areas of the airport, and people strewn across floors and seats sleeping.

'Only a few people were given water and food vouchers. It's an absolute disgrace,' passenger Sinead O'Reilly said, who was very unhappy with Ryanair's handing of the extensive delays.

'People queued up for nearly 5 hours and were told that Ryanair couldn't do anything for them Re accommodation etc as the desk was closed,'she added in a tweet.

Passengers are advised to check with their various air travel providers for updates of delays and cancellations.

Rumours have been floating about that actress Kate Beckinsale has found love with comedian Pete Davidson.

The pair were first spotted hanging out at a Golden Globes after-party in January.

A source told Page Six at the time: 'They were sitting very close on the outside patio seating.' 'Kate had her hand on his knee, and she kept laughing at all his jokes.'

The escalating rumoured romance now seems confirmed, as the new couple shared a smooch at a hockey game in New York this weekend.

The couple had floor seats to the game, and were papped having an intimate PDA.

Pete recently struggled through a very ,messy and public break up from fiance Ariana Grande. The influx of scrutiny caused him to delete his social media platforms and focus on his work.

Kate has been fielding criticism on her own social media platforms for her choice to date the Saturday Night Live comedian.

'Disappointed in your dating choices,' one user commented on one of her Instagram selfies, to which she responded: 'Fairly let down by your wonky beard but thought rude to say.'

As BBC institutions go, Desert Island Discs is easily one of the most recognisable.

Running since 1942, the radio programme has boasted countless world-famous guests who punctuate their life story with the help of eight musical tracks.

From actors, authors and activists to performers and philanthropists, guests share the songs which they would choose to bring to a desert island, and ultimately provide the listener with a snapshot of their life rarely shown in a regular interviews set-up.

Currently hosted by Kirsty Young, the Sunday morning show is available as a weekly podcast, and here are just 8 reasons why it needs to go to the top of your list.

1. Kirsty's tone of voice

Her soft Scottish brogue is undeniably one of the most appealing aspects of the weekly podcast.

Having replaced Sue Lawley as presenter back in 2006, Kirsty definitely has a way of getting her guests to open up in a manner not possessed by all her predecessors.

2. The discovery of new music

Discovering new music is easily one of the best things about Desert Island Discs, and if you have a particular fondness for a guest it's always interesting to know why a particular track means so much to them.

There are few people who listen to the weekly programme, and don't instantly update their music library afterwards.

3. The memorial moments

Over the course of the last 75 years, the show has had its fair share of memorable moments, confessions and reveals from some of the world's most renowned stars.

Always deftly navigated by Kirsty, the listener is quite regularly privy to remarkable conversations which rarely feel scripted, edited or peppered with soundbites.

4. The chosen book

In addition to choosing eight tracks, each guest is required to choose one book they would like to bring to the island with them.

BBC kindly gift them with the Bible (or Koran or Torah as appropriate) before marooning them, although not all guests are particularly impressed by the suggestion they might ever turn a page in the religious tomes.

5. The oh-so-important luxury

And in an effort to make decades alone seem more appealing, the good folk behind the programme also allow the guest to choose a luxury item which might make their time on the island a bit more bearable.

George Michael chose a car (despite at the time being banned from driving) Lily Allen chose her daughter's blankie, Ricky Gervais chose a vat of Novacaine while Simon Cowell, unsurprisingly, chose a mirror.

6. The tearful moments

There is something particularly refreshing about an interview which doesn't attempt to sidestep the subject's more difficult periods.

From Kylie Minogue recalling her relationship with the late Michael Hutchence to Jo Malone recalling her husband's battle with a life-threatening illness, the candid nature of the programme does much to set it apart.

7. The question you didn't know you wanted answered.

When it comes to Desert Island Discs, you always know you're in for an in-depth, no-holds-barred conversation, but often times the guest is thrown a curve ball and asked to reflect on a particular period in their life which you didn't realise you were so fascinated by.

And whether it's Kirsty's engaging manner or other extenuating factors, guests will almost always spill the deets.

8. The theme song

By The Sleepy Lagoon is like clutching a hot mug of tea or stepping into a warm bath – comforting, reassuring and utterly calming.

And if you don't believe us, have a listen for yourself…

Melanie Murphy has penned the most moving open letter in honour of eating disorder awareness week.

The author shared a photo of her taken during a recovery relapse during early 2013 and a more recent photo.

Melanie may look perfectly happy and healthy in both photos, but the YouTuber opened up about the reality of living with an eating disorder, stressing the fact that just because someone looks ‘perfect’ doesn’t mean they’re struggling.

A post shared by Melanie Murphy (@melaniiemurphy) on

She explained that she was struggling with her mental health when the first photo was taken: “My mental state was on the floor and I constantly felt like I had to hide it because I felt ashamed.

“I’d over-exercise in my bedroom, in secret. I’d scrape food into the bin when people weren’t looking. I’d binge when alone and then hide all the wrappers & brush my teeth. I’d made a lot of progress talking to a specialist during my final year at uni but I was still binge eating/restricting when stressed,” she continued.

“I’d dealt with orthorexia and I thought I’d broken up with binge eating, but I was mistaken. The road to recovery wasn’t linear, it rarely is! I was all over the place because of what I’d put my body through, and I felt tired,” Melanie explained.

A post shared by Melanie Murphy (@melaniiemurphy) on

The Internet star revealed her nails and hair became thinner and more brittle. She was constantly breaking out and had little energy.

“My mind was a literal battlefield, and yet I was a ‘healthy bmi’…that’s when I realized there are exceptions to the rules doctors have for measuring health, and that there’s this big gap between recovery and full-blown eating disorder where a lot of us need to chill out for a while while we gather our bearings,” she explained.

Melanie said she wanted to share her story to highlight the fact that a lot of people who are struggling right now might not be underweight, or overweight.

“They might look completely healthy while their body masks the truth of their illness, and just because someone isn’t very obviously wasting away, that doesn’t mean their illness is less serious,” she stressed.

Melanie explained that an eating disorder isn’t define by a physical size, “It’s defined by a person’s mind: their self-image, their inability to let go of control, their obsession.”

She encouraged her followers to look out for signs in those you love like social social withdrawal, obsessive rituals, deceptive behavior around food, continual denial of hunger, increased preoccupation with body shape or appearance, low self esteem, anxiety around meal times.

“I learned from my setbacks, I WANTED recovery, and if you do too, you’ll get there…you will do what it takes. I believe in you,” Melanie concluded.

We all know that Instagram is full of the highlights of people’s lives. We share photos of ourselves smiling without a hair out of place or flawless and perfectly edited snaps from holidays.

As we scroll through our feeds we are met with dozens of smiling faces but it’s important to remember that there is so much more to someone’s life than the content they post on Instagram.

We need more posts like Melanie’s honest and eye-opening open letter. We should use this platform to raise awareness about disorders, to remind people that will get through the dark times in their lives and to show others that this too shall pass.

Is it time to give up on posting snaps of your brunch, sunsets and the new pair of sunglasses you bought for your trip to Rome? I think so. Maybe it is time to use Instagram in a more encouraging and empowering way, just like Melanie did.
