If we wanted to get advice from anyone, the Former First Lady of the United States would probably be on top of our list.

So it's the Duchess of Sussex' lucky say as Michelle Obama has been dishing out a few pearls or wisdom to the former actor.

The women have in common many things – largely that they have had to adapt to a life that is more pressurised than they could have ever imagined.

Michelle said, "Like me, Meghan probably never dreamt that she’d have a life like this, and the pressure you feel – from yourself and from others – can sometimes feel like a lot."

She continued, ''So my biggest pieces of advice would be to take some time and don’t be in a hurry to do anything. I spent the first few months in the White House mainly worrying about my daughters, making sure they were off to a good start at school and making new friends before I launched into any more ambitious work."

She went on to say that choosing projects is important and is to be done wisely.

She said, "I think it’s okay – it’s good, even – to do that….What I’d say is that there’s so much opportunity to do good with a platform like that – and I think Meghan can maximise her impact for others, as well her own happiness, if she’s doing something that resonates with her personally."

Nice one, Michelle.

Michelle is currently in the UK to promote her newly-released memoir, Becoming, and has been generous with her nuggets of wisdom, especially when it comes to the myth of ''having it all.''

During an appearance at Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, Michelle spoke about the modern concept.

She said, “Marriage still ain’t equal, y’all. It ain’t equal. And I tell women that it’s not equal – that whole ‘so you can have it all’? Nope, not at the same time.''

She added, “That’s a lie. And it’s not always enough to lean in, because that s**t doesn't work all the time.”

Hear hear, Michelle – I think we all need a friend like her tbh.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show finally aired last night, after weeks of controversy.

Performing at the NYC show were musicians Halsey, Bebe Rexha, The Chainsmokers, Kelsea Ballerini, Rita Ora, Shawn Mendes and The Struts.

Since the show aired, singer Halsey has come forward to air her grievances about the shows commitment to a singular body type over on Instagram.

'I have adored the Victorias Secret fashion show since I was young,' she wrote, in a pink and white text post.

'Performing this year alongside other amazing artists and hardworking models/friends was supposed to be the best night of my year.'

'However, after I filmed the performance, some comments were made regarding the show that I simply cannot ignore.'

'As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I have no tolerance for a lack of inclusivety. Especially not one motivated by stereotype.'

Halsey's comments were motivated by a statement made by vice president of public relations, Ed Razek following the show's filming.

'Shouldn't you have transsexuals in the show? No. No, I don't think we should. Well, why not? Because the show is a fantasy. It's a 42-minute entertainment special. That's what it is. It is the only one of its kind in the world, and any other fashion brand in the world would take it in a minute, including the competitors that are carping at us,' he said, in a comment that caused offence to many in the transgender community.

'If you are a trans person reading this, and these comments made you feel alienated or invalidated please know that you have allies.'

'We stand in solidarity, and complete and total acceptance is the only "fantasy" that I support…'

The singer has been widely applauded for her words, however, other fans questioned why she accepted the performance gig if this is how she felt about the brand, as they have not previously shown a commitment to including a diverse range of body types.

If you're a fan of this Christmas classic, we have bad news for you.

One radio station is now removing it from it's station after receiving feedback from listeners who felt that it was inappropriate in 2018.

The issue here is consent – a hot topic in the #MeToo era and the song's lyrics are what has been causing problems.

According to the hosts for Ohio-based channel Star 102, the festive classic was “manipulative and wrong.''

The 1944 hit sees a man try to get a woman to stay in his house, coming up with excuses as to why she can't leave.

One line in particular that the woman sings – “say, what’s in this drink?” has been a cause of discomfort.

And people have something to say about it.

Some are delighted that a song they see as outdated and even somewhat dangerous is being wiped from the air waves, others are outraged at what they see as more whining from the PC Brigade.

So where do you stand?

A poll by Star 102 on Facebook showed that revealed that most listeners believe Baby, It’s Cold Outside is not inappropriate.

One wrote, ''Then I guess you should stop playing Santa baby, I saw mommy kissing Santa, Grandma got run over, because people think those are offensive too, this PC stuff is getting ridiculous, play whatever if people don’t like it they will turn the knob. You will never please everyone 100%.''

While another said, ''I'm actually part of the me too movement, and a survivor. Personally I adore this song and have never been offended by it or freaked out by it. I do not believe it's about rape – it's a playful banter from a time when a woman would have been concerned people would think badly of her for staying, even if she wanted to.''

The song has been covered by may singers from Tom Jone and Cerys Mtathews, to Lady Gaga, Michael Bublé and Zoey Deschanel.

An updated version by musicians Lydia Liza and Josiah Lemanski was released a few years ago, giving the song an empowering message around consent.

The new version contains lines like, “I’m hoping you get home safe”, and “you reserve the right to say no”.

So what do you think – the right decision or a choice too far?

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been one of the most successful Netflix shows of 2018, and for good reason.

The show is a darker take on one of our old 1990s faves, Sabrina the Teenage Witch; a coming of age story about a seemingly normal adolescent girl with a horror-themed secret.

Netflix' take on the series has expanded the layers of witchcraft, introducing the occult, bloodlust and evil forces inherent in the human world. Sounds like our kind of vibe, doesn't it?

Kiernan Shipka totally cast her spell on the audience as Sabrina Spellman, and our new internet boyfriend Chance Perdomo had quite an effect as her cousin, Ambrose.

When we left Sabrina at the end of part one, she was forced to make her decision regarding the border between the human world and the world of witchcraft, with powerful results.

We already knew that season two was in the works, as ordered the series as a two-part deal. Thank the Gods for that.

Luckily for us, we don't have to wait long for season two to hit our screens, the trailer has been released and our gal Sabrina is most-definitely dark witch material.

Sporting her new icy blonde hair and cheeky grin, she's undoubtedly up to mischief.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 2 airs on April 5th on Netflix. Get ready, witches.

Netflix have decided to be absolute legends.

Why, you ask?

Because they are adding a whole slew of new titles and we are not able to handle the excitement.

Probably even more so because DERRY GIRLS is one of those shows.

This Irish series, which is already a huge hit in the UK , is set in 1990's Northern Ireland during teh Troubles.

It follows a group of school girls who attend a Catholic school – it is historical and hilarious and we adore it.

Created and written by Lisa McGee, we get to hang out with 16-year-old's Erin (Saoirse-Monica Jackson), her cousin Orla (Louisa Harland) and their friends Clare (Nicola Coughlan), Michelle (Jamie-Lee O'Donnell) and Michelle's English cousin, James (Dylan Llewellyn), as they navigate their teens.

Season One, which was released in January of this year, was unreal so we can only imagine that Season Two is gonna be even better.

It's another reason why we will be glued to our telly's for all of December but sure look, isn't that what winter is all about?!

It's getting ready to hit our screens again in January – yes, we're talking about Dancing With The Stars, of course.

The hit dance show has unveiled it's first celebrity contestant and we can reveal that it is…Mairead Ronan.

The broadcaster and entrepreneur has been announced as the first star to don her dancing shoes in the New Year when the highly anticipated RTÉ One series returns.

Mairead has said, ''I’m very excited but I have a big ball of nerves in my stomach! I’ve never done anything glamorous on TV, I’m always out in fields and mucky places with wellies and runners, so now to be in heels and sparkly dresses is both brilliant an brutal.''

She continued,  ''The only dancing I do is around the kitchen with my baby, so this is going to be a whole new experience for me!"

The next celebrity dancers to join Mairéad will be revealed on The Ryan Tubridy Show on Monday, December 3.

She took to Instagram to announce the news, saying, ''De de de de de de deeee de de de de de delighted to be involved with the next series of @dwtsirl … the nerves are big already please be kind in January #dwtsirl.''

Jennifer Zamparelli  will be stepping into the shoes of former presenter Amanda Byram and will be joining forces with as the presenters.

Kicking off on RTÉ One on Sunday January 6, a total of 11 celebrities will pair up with their professional dancing partners as they step out of their comfort zones and onto the dance floor, each hoping to claim the much-coveted glitter ball trophy at the end of the series.

We can't wait – good luck Mairead.

And now she has announced that she would be the perfect person to teach sex ed to school kids because she is ''young and cool.''

Megan has been open about her love of sex, after having two romances in the villa with Eyal Booker and her now-boyfriend Wes Nelson.

She said, ''Sex education is really important and I want to go back to school to teach kids and answer questions they might be too embarrassed or shy to ask their teachers.''

She continued, “Schools have a responsibility, as do parents, to teach their kids. I think if it’s awkward and weird coming from a much older teacher it doesn't work or sink in.''

Megan is also doing an unreal collab with feminine care brand Woo Woo on a sexual health campaign.

She thinks that measures should be taken in schools to make sex lessons less awkward for pupils.

She said, “If it’s not people from reality TV shows talking about it, why don’t schools get young cool people in who speak about using condoms and getting tested and girls having periods?''

She added, “We need to make it a normal everyday thing. There should be no stigma, taboo or embarrassment around it.”

Gwan Megan, we think you're fab.
