Michelle Regazzoli-Stone, also known as Mrs Makeup, has lashed out against call-out accounts such as Bloggers Unveiled and Bullshitcallerouter.

Her action comes after friend and fellow Irish influencer Rosie Connolly received a cruel message from a follower.

Rosie took to her Instagram stories to let her followers know that she would be taking some time off social media, after her son Harry, who features regularly on her platforms, suffered a broken leg.

However, soon after the post, Rosie received a response to her story regarding her son's injury – 'Karma's a bitch.'

Understandably upset by this, Rosie has not posted online since sharing the screenshot, except to thank the ambulance and hospital workers who assisted her family. The page from which the DM was sent has since been deleted.

Taking to Instagram, Michelle posted an uplifting quote about women supporting other women, while adding her two-cents on the matter.

Instagram / mrsmakeup_ie

'I am all for freedom of speech (I’m probably a little over opinionated sometimes) What’s going on online with these calling out pages have opened up a world of unnecessary hate!' Michelle wrote.

Directing her anger at the currently active call-out pages, she continued: 'Anonymous pages set up to deliberately hurt people! Why are you afraid to show us who you are?????'

'Last night I was sickened by what someone wrote to @rosieconxxx about her son! When will it stop lads????' she declared, outraged by the DM.

'Yes there has been some shady shit with influencers, I noticed it myself so what did I do, unfollowed the person or simply don’t engage! Oh and by the way we ALL make mistakes we are HUMAN!!!'

Michelle did not tag any call-out pages in the post, but perpetually on the pulse, Bloggers Unveiled had this to say in the comments section:

'Hey @mrsmakeup_ie you forgot to tag me! That comment directed at Rosie had nothing to do with me and I made it very clear how disgusted I was with it, and when I checked that account wasn’t even following me?'

'I think a lot of your followers have explained the purpose of my page better than I ever could so I’ll just leave it at that.'

A post shared by Rosie Connolly (@rosieconxxx) on

She continued on to say that while Michelle's image of a quote about supporting women was positive, she doesn't agree that just because people are of the same gender they shouldn't be able to call out controversy.

'Your post speaks about “building women up” which I take issue with as I always say we shouldn't always build women up on the basis we share anatomical similarities.'

'Im sure you’ll agree some women need to be taken down a peg or two. But what about all the women on the other end of it? The victims of a culture that lost the run of itself?'

'Were those women empowered? Or were they lied to, misled and exploited? Think about that for a minute because it’s a very valid point and an important question.'

'Everything I’ve shown on my page is the truth. I appreciate you wanting to stick up for your friend but I don’t appreciate being linked with that comment when I’ve already distanced myself from it.'

With Bloggers Unveiled already at 127,000 followers and growing astronomically, there are many who would agree.

However, to whomever sent that DM to Rosie Connolly regarding her son, the collective public opinion seems to be – shame on you.

The search for Ireland’s most adorable puppy is on, and we're very excited!

Through in-store nominations, public voting and a grand finale dog show, the country’s largest independently owned pet retailer, Petmania, wants to find the paw-fect puppy who will become the face of their brand for 2018/2019.

Previous winners include Samson, a cross breed Collie / Staffordshire from Offaly, who, after being dumped at six weeks old, was saved by Cara Rescue Dogs before being adopted by his new pet-parent Rachel McArdle.

The winning pup will receive a year’s supply of food and grooming, a puppy photography shoot, a two night stay in Enniskoe House, County Mayo along with featuring within marketing campaigns.

"We are excited to launch the Puppy of the Year competition and to find the face of our brand for 2018/2019," Emily Miller said.

"We are also pleased to have teamed up with Seven Dog Nutrition for this search. I would encourage any puppy owners across the country to get nominating their pooch as we have a host of prizes up for grabs.

"Puppy parents may choose to nominate their pooches based on the cute factor, an unusual breed or perhaps it will be a pup who has come from a rescue centre and may not have had the happiest of beginnings."

Puppies must be under the age of one on Saturday, 31st March 2018,to be eligible, and entries will be open until Sunday, 22nd April.

Two rounds of voting will take place and twelve finalists will be chosen with the winning puppy being crowned Puppy of the Year 2018/2019 at a special event in Limerick this June.

Puppy parents can nominate their pooch in any Petmania store nationwide in Kilkenny, Carlow, Laois, Offaly, Limerick, Waterford, Wexford, Galway, Meath, Dublin and Kerry or visit www.petmania.ie

Picture it. Sandy beaches, glorious sunshine, and a lounger with your name on it – pure bliss.

That is, of course, until you look in the mirror later that evening only to realise you now resemble some kind of lobster-human hybrid.

We all have a lot going on – from work and college, to maintaining friendships and a social life.

For me, it all gets a little overwhelming at the best of times, and I find myself on the brink on a panic attack at least once a week from anxiety.

It is a real thing, and that feeling of anxiousness is one of the worst in the world.

Everything seems to start unravelling, and all you want to do is get into bed and stay there.

There's nothing to be ashamed of, and there are some really nice ways you can alleviate the anxiety.

One thing I usually do to help me calm down? I listen to music.

Seems like such a simple concept, but when I'm feeling really overwhelmed (a frequent occurrence) the sultry tones of Johnny Cash really help.

So with that musical theme in mind, I'd like to fill you on a new study done by neuroscientists in the UK.

These lads have identified the ten tunes that will soothe you the most when feeling anxious. No, Mr Cash did not make the cut, but c'est la vie.

The study was conducted on participants who attempted to solve difficult puzzles as quickly as possible while connected to sensors.

The puzzles induced a certain level of stress, and participants listened to different songs while researchers measured brain activity as well as physiological states that included heart rate, blood pressure, and rate of breathing.

They found that listening to a song called "Weightless" actually resulted in a 65 percent reduction in participants' overall anxiety, and a 35 percent reduction in their usual physiological resting rates.

Now those are figures I can get behind.

Here are the 10 songs that the study recommended to be the best to ease anxiety:

So don't drive while listening to these, but do take advantage of them:

10. "We Can Fly," by Rue du Soleil (Café Del Mar)

9. "Canzonetta Sull'aria," by Mozart

8. "Someone Like You," by Adele

7. "Pure Shores," by All Saints

6. "Please Don't Go," by Barcelona

5. "Strawberry Swing," by Coldplay

4. "Watermark," by Enya

3. "Mellomaniac (Chill Out Mix)," by DJ Shah

2. "Electra," by Airstream

1. "Weightless," by Marconi Union

So sit back, pop in your earphones, and relax.

Sometimes, all you need is a great bowl of pasta.

And while it is arguably the easiest food to cook, some Dublin restaurants have raised the bar so high their pasta could compete with what you would get in the best trattoria in Rome.

Unfortunately, we can't jet to Italy every time we crave a good plate of pesto pasta, so we have done a quick survey in the SHEmazing HQ to help you find some fabulous pasta around Dublin.

1. Host

Host is certainly one of the best restaurant openings of the past few months in Dublin.

With its gorgeous small plates to share, this Ranelagh eatery combines incredible food, super friendly staff and trendy yet relaxed atmosphere.

All their pasta are homemade and since we couldn't decide which one is the best between the Pumpkin cappellacci, the Duck pappardelle or the Taglioni with nduja and mussels, we'd just suggest you get them all.

2. Il Vicoletto

Located in the heart of Temple Bar, Il Vicoletto offers the most authentic Central-Northern Italian cuisine.

Using the freshest ingredients from Ireland and Italy, their hand made pasta are just as good as what you would get in Rome or Milan.

3. Terra Madre

This small cafe located between the Ha’penny and O’Connell Bridge is the perfect spot for an intimate fuss-free dinner date.

Perfect if you want to impress a foodie, its home-style cooking will make you feel you are eating at your granny's – if she was Italian.

4. That's Amore

There is a reason why this place gets booked out weeks in advance.

Famous for their antipasti, meats and pizza, the Monkstown gem also serves incredible Seafood linguine and Tortellini al tartufo to die for in a very cosy atmosphere, which is why it is so close to the heart of Clare, our lovely MummyPages writer.

5. Cafe Cucina

A post shared by Kayzeer Libranda (@kayzeeraugust) on

The tiny eatery on Parnell st. is an absolute favourite of Katie, our talented MagicMum writer.

Run by Italians, it offers fantastic pasta dishes at a very affordable price.

6. The Hungry Duck

A post shared by The Brunch Brief (@brunchbrief) on

According to Jolie, our brilliant Business Development Manager, this Walkinstown gem has an amazing linguine on their dinner menu, made with locally produced ingredients.

It also serves a gorgeous brunch at the weekend.

7. Pete's of Sandymount

Rebecca, SHEmazing's fab deputy editor, is a regular of Pete's of Sandymount for a very good reason. "It has the most delicious pasta pesto! I don't know what they do to it, but it is like CRACK", she says.

The fact that they have a Ladies' Night on Wednesday, when tables of just women can enjoy half price food, could explain it as well.

In recent months, Irish bloggers and influencers have been under intense scrutiny, as followers become more vigilant of sponsorships and undeclared ads and pages like Bullshitcallerouter and BloggersUnveiled expose the underhanded tactics some bloggers are partial to.

This atmosphere of negativity has led influencer Jodie Wood to give her personal opinion on influencer hate, and the stigma attached to bloggers accepting paid endorsements.

The blogger and Beauty Editor of Social & Personal, who has accumulated over 27,700 Instagram followers, took her her stories last night to highlight her feelings about receiving hate for accepting brand sponsorships.

'I'm annoyed that my photos of me drinking a cup of bloody tea can get 2,000 likes, but as soon as you see it's a collaboration it's not supported,' she wrote.

'Why should we (influencers) have to continue to provide free entertainment, advice and inspiration and be expected to receive nothing in return?'

'Blogging is a job, would you go to work for free every day?'

Jodie makes a good point, as celebrities who appear in haircare and makeup ads or as brand ambassadors are rarely subject to the same scrutiny.

It's the expectation of authenticity which comes from the influencer audience that drives the opposition to sponsored posts, but to make a living, influencers need these endorsements, which they mix in with their 'authentic' content.'

'The minute we are seen to be earning an income from blogging, it's not supported,' she continued via her Instagram story.

'I know there are bloggers out there who aren't the most transparent or genuine, but I have worked my arse off making my poor husband take photos for YOU GUYS continuously over the last few years.'

'You have no idea how much effort goes into the shots you see, that just look like a quick snap on my phone.'

'I think it's so sad and typically Irish to not be happy for someone else as soon as they appear to be doing well,' she continued.

Jodie elaborated to say that she is exceptionally lucky and thankful to have the supportive following that she does, but that her statement on the matter stems from a DM she received which slated her for accepting a brand sponsorship.

'Used to love following you months ago before it turned purely into advertisements.' the DM writer, who Jodie anonymised, complained.

'I think it's such a shame that you have gone so drastically from not paid content to pretty much everything being #ad.'

In her final thoughts, the influencer said that she won't be stopped from working with brands in the future that she feels are a good fit for her personal brand.

'I only ever work with brands I believe in and would tell you about even if I wasn't paid,' she said, emphasising her commitment to remaining transparent with her following.

Jodie isn't the first influencer to speak out about the criticism of the audience regarding sponsorships and transparency.

Sarah Hanrahan of I Come Undone took to her Instagram stories a number of weeks ago to highlight the power of the follower when it comes to engaging with bloggers.

Sarah reminded her followers that they control the content they see, and by continuing to engage with content that they don't agree with by liking and following those who create it, they are allowing for the continued conception of that content.

The power is in your hands, gals.

It seems that every day of the week, a new Instagram food trend is grabbing the attention of the marginally peckish.

Brunch is a staple, seen on the feeds of every influencer and regular gal alike on a Sunday afternoon, but how about nabbing your favourite brunch recipe in doughnut form?

That's exactly what the people at Santa Monica-based Sidecar Doughnuts have done with their Eggs Benedict Doughnut flavour.

Described as 'perfectly sweet and savoury,'  the eggs benedict doughnut is a staple on the menu at Sidecar Doughnuts.

'Inside this fluffy, Malasada-style doughnut… An oozy, delicious poached egg, house made basil hollandaise sauce, and Benton's Ham,' reads the flavoursome description.

'We toyed with the idea of cutting the doughnut and putting things in it,' Sidecar Doughnuts owner Sumter Pendergrast told Extra Crispy.

'And then we came up with the idea of poaching an egg, and actually wrapping the egg and ham inside the dough.'

Combining savoury staples with sweet delicacies isn't a new frontier in the frankenfood realm, after all, 2018 kicked off with the introduction of the crossushi.

However, we're simultaneously intrigued and offended by the brunch favourites' transformation into a pastry palette pleaser.

That being said, we'd still give one a go if we found ourselves in CA.

On April 18, Supermarket Sweep host Dale Winton sadly passed away at his home.

His agent, Jan Kennedy, released a statement on the devastating news, RTÉ reports:

"It is with great sadness that we can confirm the passing of Dale Winton who died at home earlier today.

"While we know many will share this terrible loss, we ask that you respect the family's privacy at this time of grief."

Dale was beloved as the host of Supermarket Sweep, which aired from 1993 to 2001 and was revived in 2007.

Last year it was revealed that FremantleMedia had acquired the global format for the series, and it was due to return in 2018.

The presenter began his TV career on Pet Watch in 1986. He also hosted the game shows Hole in the Wall and In It To Win It and presented Celebrity Fit Club for three series, to name just a few of his TV credits.

Dale released an autobiography in 2002, in which he came out as gay.

In January 2018, the 62-year-old opened up about his health issues, telling TV Times:

"I've kept a low profile because I had about four surgeries.

"I had a shoulder problem and a knee problem, so I took a break to get myself sorted."

No further details about his death have been announced.

Our deepest sympathies to his family and friends during the most tragic of times.

The significance of owning our own home is instilled in us from a very young age.

From films all about the roof over our heads (think of Up) to what our own parents tell us, we have come to consider purchasing property a watershed moment in adult life.

However, in our current economy, this supposed right of passage is becoming less and less of a reality for millennials (who are aged 20 to 35).

A recent report from think tank the Resolution Foundation found that if homeownership rates continue to decline in the same way they have since 2000, a third of millennials will still be renting when they retire.

And while this notion is alarming, it's actually commonplace to rent for a lifetime in places like Germany and Switzerland.

The UK's homeownership rates currently stand at 63 percent, but Germany and Switzerland's rates fall far below that, in part because tenants have stronger rights in these countries.

Tenants can be evicted with only two months' notice, making the notion of long-term renting feel like an unreliable plan at times.

Tenancies only last an average of 2.5 years, while in Germany the average tenancy stretches to 11 years.

The insecurity associated with private renting is of special concern as millennials begin to have children and raise families of their own.

In fact, the number of families with children renting privately has soared over the past fifteen years, from 600,000 to 1.8 million.

“While there have been some steps recently to support housebuilding and first-time buyers, up to a third of millennials still face the prospect of renting from cradle to grave,” Resolution's Lindsay Judge told the Independent.

'We have to improve conditions for the millions of families living in private rented accommodation.

"That means raising standards and reducing the risks associating with renting through tenancy reform and light-touch rent stabilisation.”

With this in mind, the Resolution Foundation put forth the idea that 'indeterminate tenancy', which is used more often on the Continent, should be the only form of rental contract.

They also advocate for the introduction of an inflation cap on three-year rent increases.

We all struggle to drag ourselves out of bed in the morning, and get through a hard day of working without falling asleep.

Then comes the weekend, and all we want to do is watch Netflix, or go on the absolute tear with the girls.

There’s very little time in the week to be focusing on the future, let alone the future of your skin.

However, as easy as it is to forget about skincare – it’s so important to remember, trust me.

Sure, loads of us are lucky now, in our twenties, with glowing youthful skin that seems timeless.

Well, let me tell you ladies – it is pretty much down hill from here, and we need to arm our skin as best we can.

Image result for thalgo roll on collagen

That means going beyond the realm of washing and moisturising – we all need to be investing in the world of oils, primers, and even collagen.

When I say collagen, I automatically think about big, plumped up lips – but it’s different.

Women now, more than ever, are using collagen based products to help keep their skin plump and gorgeous.

Trust me, it works. I get asked for ID in every off-licence I visit, and I’m 26.

So, what actually is collagen, I hear you ask?

Well, allow me to hit you with some sweet, sweet knowledge.

Collagen is a long-chain amino acid (#Science) and the most abundant protein in the body.

It’s made up of the individual amino acids Glycine, Proline, Hydroxyproline and Arginine and in nature is found exclusively in animal tissue, especially bones and connective tissue.

Basically, it is what gives your skin elasticity, your hair its strength, and  your connective tissue its ability to hold everything in place.

However, a person’s levels of collagen lessens with age, hence the need to supplement those all-important supplies.

While collagen is beneficial to the whole body, it is most noticeably beneficial to your skin.

And there are actually a number of ways to replenish your collagen levels – thank GOD.

Many people take collagen in the form of a tablet or a little shot – but I prefer to just lash it straight onto my skin.

My latest beauty hero product? The roll-on collagen treatment from Thalgo. I’m obsessed.

The ultimate anti-puffiness weapon! The massaging, ice-cube effect of the three little metal balls and a concentrate of anti-puffiness, anti-dark circle and smoothing active ingredients makes the perfect little tool.

What I love about this product is the fact that it is easy to use, and a great starter for younger people trying to incorporate collagen into their routine.

Literally just pop it in your handbag, and roll it on when you think your face needs a bit of TLC.

And at  €33, it’s certainly cheaper than a full face lift!

10/10 would recommend to friend.
