Taoiseach Leo Varadkar is facing criticism after his appearance on the Vincent Browne show last night. 

The leader expressed to Vincent that the majority of Irish people are 'middle class,' and that that includes people living on minimum wage. 

'Over 70 per cent of people' consider themselves middle class, according to the Taoiseach, and those on minimum wage 'very much are the people.'

Vincent Browne also described the concept of those on minimum wage being middle class as a 'fantasy.' 

The comments caused anger on Twitter, as people exclaimed that the Taoiseach doesn't seem to know what life is like on minimum wage. 

There is a major housing crisis in Ireland, and Dublin in particular, right now. 

A number of potential remedies have been considered to relieve the strain on renters and buyers, and a vacant property tax is one of them.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar hinted that he is strongly considering implementing such a tax in the hopes of creating more homes from what is already in existence.

'There are a lot of vacant properties in the country, some of those could be renovated and brought into use, some could be purchased.'

 'I think we need to impose penalties on people who leave houses vacant in areas where there’s a very demand for housing, and those houses should be in use,' he told Vincent.

Can you believe it's been 20 years since Titanic hit our screens?

It was the love story that no one could forget about, and now two decades later, there was a mini cast reunion, and we have to say, we're still swooning.

Billy Zane, Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio all came together again for Leo's charity fundraiser gala in St. Tropez in France.

At the gala, Leo and Kate auctioned themselves off to have a dinner with one lucky person… but we're just wondering how much someone would pay to have all three of them in the room together.

Billy shared a photo of the three amigos on Instagram with the caption, "Gang's back together. Now we're saving icebergs. Go Figure."

We're loving Billy's caption to the snap, but it seems the Internet just loves seeing everyone back together again:

American Horror Story fans, rejoice, because the hit TV series is making its way back to our screens ASAP.

Rumours have been swirling for months that the new series will explore the theme of the American election, but in typical AHS style, it has been revealed that this theme will have a bit of a twist. 

The brand spanking new teaser trailer for the now iconic show has just been released, and it reveals that the story line is focused on and portrayed through the eyes of a cult.

The trailer shows a number of terrifying clown-like clones chanting and moving in unison as they entice blue-haired outcasts to join their cult. 

The video is accentuated with a sprinkling of occult symbols and ominous weapon wielding, typical AHS style. 

Fans weren't too impressed with the inclusion of clowns in the new season, with fears that this season would be too similar to Freak Show being voiced in the comments section.  

However, we're sure that AHS will have plenty of twists and turns in store for season seven viewers.

AHS show runner Ryan Murphy took to Instagram, to reveal more upcoming spoilers about the show. 

He uploaded a sketch of both Evan Peter's and Sarah Paulson's character in the show, and shared with fans that the pair would be involved in a romantic story line for the second season in a row. 

'Ally and Kai in CULT…a love story for the ages,' he captioned the snap. 

All will eventually be revealed on September 5th, when the show is aired.

Chrissy Teigen, AKA the undisputed Queen of Twitter, has never been shy about voicing her opinion and now, after years of trolling, Donald Trump has finally blocked her on Twitter.

On Sunday, Trump took to to the micro-blogging site to criticise Republicans that “do very little to protect their President”, to which Chrissy replied: “Lollllll no one likes you.”

A little childish? Perhaps.

A hilarious response? Most definitely.

Following the exchange, Chrissy confirmed that she had in fact been blocked “after 9 years of hating Donald J Trump.”

In February, the model, who campaigned for Hillary Clinton, told  USA Today that she'd been trolling the POTUS for "five to seven years."

"I've been doing this forever, and I take pride in that."

This is not the first time Trump has blocked someone on Twitter.

In fact, Chrissy now joins the likes of author, Stephen King and American comedian, Rosie O'Donnell among many others.

Kylie Jenner has never been afraid to share her life entirely with her fans, and that includes sharing what she likes to eat on a daily basis. 

Not content residing on a diet of gummy bear hair vitamins and hearty fried breakfasts, the youngest member of the Kardashian clan is making a major change to her eating habits.

The star has previously expressed a love of fried chicken and bacon, but is making the choice to try a vegan diet.

The soon-to-be-twenty-year-old reality TV star took to Snapchat to show her followers that she was trying to make better food choices by opting for veganism. 

'Trying this whole vegan thing,' she captioned a recent snap, over a photo of some tasty looking vegan tacos. 

Veganism has increased in popularity in recent years, with big names such as Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and Ellen Page embracing the cruelty-free lifestyle.

While it has not been confirmed why Kylie has made the change, it is clear that the teen is an animal lover, with her collection of beloved pets, so perhaps it is for ethical reasons. 

On the other hand, with studies showing that plant-based diets are good for the health, maybe Kylie is trying to be more mindful about the ingredients she chooses to consume. 

Either way, she's sure to spark an interest in veganism in her massive following.

We're very intrigued to see if she maintains her new vegan ways.

Calling all festival-goers!

There's a little bit of Thailand coming to Stradbally this year.

With just weeks to go until Electric Picnic 2017, music lovers across the country are gearing up for one of the most highly anticipated weekends of the year.

Not only does the music festival boast a killer line-up of some of the best music and comedy acts in the business, but the art, culture and general chilled-out atmosphere is what really draws in the crowds year after year.

And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, festival organisers announce they are shipping over 200 tonnes of sand for an authentic Full Moon Party experience.

That's right. The Just Eat Retreat  are throwing a Thailand-inspired Full Moon Party complete with sand, deckchairs, neon body paint and tropical palm trees.

What's more, a 'bespoke Posh Spice Bag' has been specifically created for the party by SABA and Just Eat waiters will be on hand to deliver some exclusive cocktails.

All tips and donations received by the Just Eat waiters and porters will be donated to the Peter McVerry Trust.

Last month, US weekly broke the news that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had hired a surrogate to carry their third child, and assuming the reports are true, the couple will likely welcome baby boy or girl in early 2018.

A source recently revealed to the magazine that a San Diego mother in her late 20's, chosen by the couple after she was referred by an agency, is now three months pregnant.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and rapper wed in 2014 and are already parents to two children under five-years-old – North, four, and Saint, 19 months.

Kim has never been shy about expressing her desire to have a large family. Speaking on the Ellen Show back in 2014 she said: "I have so many siblings and I love it, they're my best friends and I would love that for my kids.” 

However, the reality star was left devastated when she was told another pregnancy could pose serious risks to her health.

She suffers from placenta accreta, a condition where the placenta grows too deeply into the womb during pregnancy.

However, determined not to let her condition stop her from having more children, Kim and Kanye agreed to pay a surrogate $45,000 in 10 monthly instalments of $4,500, according to TMZ.

Should the surrogate become pregnant with multiple children, the couple will pay a additional $5,000 per child – all on top of the huge $68,850 deposit given to the agency.

We all know a sick individual who likes their tea as white and milky as the Irish complexion, along with a mad b****** who doesn't take milk in their tea at all.

As a land of tea drinkers, there is a wide array of preferences when it comes to assessing what makes the perfect cuppa. 

From great debates over the right amount of sugar and whether a saucer is necessary, tea can divide a nation.

One thing that really gets people riled up is the correct colour of tea. 

This delicate decision, whether you want it the colour of a nicely varnished floor or the shade of a Digestive biscuit, is all down to the amount of milk used.

Twitter user @Yorkshireprobs uploaded a key chart to identify the most popular tea shade.

Personally, 2C looks about right, but the comments section is wild with disagreement.

Some have even admitted to enjoying 4D, which, as was pointed out in responses, must be like drinking a cup of tepid milk. 

Others have suggested printing out the chart to hand in offices worldwide, so that the tea debate can rage on while also educating the masses about one anothers tea choices. 

Now we're gasping for a cuppa…

Kylie Jenner has finally revealed her birthday makeup collection – and it could be her most gorgeous yet.

After teasing fans on social media, the beauty mogul gave her Snapchat and Instagram followers a sneak peek at the #KylieTurns20 Kylie Cosmetics collection, and as usual, fans went wild with anticipation.

The glittery pink collection includes a whole host of shiny new products including two new Ultra Glow Highlighter in Queen (a pale pink) and King (golden beige), which Kylie swatched for her Snapchat followers, showing off their glimmering textures.

Also included in the collection is The Birthday Book – a pressed powder palette consisting of nine eyeshadows and two blushes.

Of course, no Kylie Cosmetics drop would be complete without one of her famous liquid lipsticks and it looks like fans will be spoilt for choice.

The new range will include not one, but two mini liquid lip sets – the Velvet Mini Liquid Lip Set and the Matte Mini Liquid Lip Set, each with six brand new shades.

What's more, there will also be a new Lip Kit in Twenty, a matte rosewood shade, as well as a limited edition rhinestone incrusted version of the the brand's original shade, Kylie.

Kylie celebrates her birthday on August 10, but the range will be available to purchase from Kylie Cosmetics on August 1 at 11.00pm.

Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau has made the cover of Rolling Stone and the whole world is swooning – well, most of us. 

Appearing on the front cover of the magazine's August issue, Justin is pictured looking seductively into the camera, next to the words –  'Why can't he be our president?'

Inside the pages, a glowing profile, written by Stephen Rodrick, proves that no one is safe from the Trudeau spell.

The writer starts by calling Trudeau “a progressive, rational, forward-thinking leader” who “overcame tragedy to become Canada’s prime minister”, such as the death of his younger brother, and father, former Prime Minster, Pierre Trudeau.

Roderick then began to make comparisons between Trudeau and Donald Trump's stances on issues such as abortion, climate change and Russia.

“Trump's son met with Russian nationals who promised dirt on Hillary Clinton. Trudeau's foreign minister is Chrystia Freeland, a Canadian of Ukrainian descent who is banned in Putin's Russia,” he writes.

“Justin Trudeau is trying to Make Canada Great Again. He is using, let us say, different methods.”

However, Justin did say that he and Trump have “a constructive working relationship” even though they disagree “on a whole bunch”.

He added that he would not go out of his way to "insult the guy or overreact or jump at everything he says (that) we might disagree with is not having a constructive relationship."

The traditionally music-focused magazine is no stranger to political features and has had a number of politicians on its front cover over the years, but few have sent the internet into a frenzy quite like Justin. 

However, not everyone was happy with Trudeau's cover.

Some US Twitter users made it clear they would not want Trudeau as their president.
