It's been a great 12 months for Ashley Graham, who has achieved some major milestones in her modelling career.

However, the model feels that encouraging women to embrace their own bodies is by far the most important thing she's ever achieved.

Speaking at the Time 100 gala on Tuesday night, the model revealed the proudest moment of her career.

'When I took a photo of my cellulite and posted it on Instagram,' she said, explaining how it felt to unashamedly showcase her body.

'I don't think that other women should be afraid of theirs as well.'

'It's my body, it's my lumps and bumps. I'm into it, my husband doesn't care, and neither should the world,' she finished.

'I workout. I do my best to eat well. I love the skin I'm in,' she captioned the post at the time.

'And I'm not ashamed of a few lumps, bumps or cellulite.. and you shouldn't be either.'

Hear, hear Ashley!

"Guys, a woman who’s dead drunk cannot consent. You are raping her.”

These were the words spoken by Joe Biden during a sexual assault awareness event at George Mason University, Virginia, on Wednesday.

The former US Vice President was speaking at the university for an event sponsored by It’s On Us, an organisation founded by Joe and Barack Obama to combat "the epidemic of sexual violence" on college campuses across the United States.

It’s On Us wants men to stand up and take an active approach in the prevention of sexual crimes on college campuses.

‘’I've been in a lot of locker rooms. I don't know where in locker rooms where it is acceptable to talk about, 'Man, I was out this weekend and boy, I got a piece of her, and I did this and I did that.'’’

‘’The guys who usually say that are usually the ugliest sons of bi— guns in the room,'' he added, to laughter and applause from the crowd. ''Here's the deal guys, you gotta speak up. You cannot let that kind of talk be bred on a college campus.’’

Joe also called out those men who don’t take action when they see a women who may be in trouble.

‘’When you see something, if you're a fraternity brother and you see a young freshman co-ed in the second week dead drunk, and him walking her up the stairs, you gotta go up to him and say, 'Hey, not in my house, Jack. Not in my house.'’’

‘’Because if you don't, you are an accomplice. You know what's about to happen. You know!’’

The former Vice President ended his powerful speech with a reminder for young men everywhere.

‘’I say to you guys, please, please act like men. Rape and sexual assault are not about sex, it’s about power. If you want to be a man, stand up, man’’

‘’And if you can't get her to say yes because she wants to, you ain't much.’’

Research has revealed that almost 40 per cent of people would hide a mental health problem from family and friends.

The study was conducted by See Change, ‘an alliance of organisations’ that work together under the National Stigma Reduction Partnership to change people attitudes and behavior towards mental health issues.

Almost 1,000 adults were asked various questions about their own mental health and their attitudes towards others.

According to RTÉ,  66 per cent of those surveyed said they would be willing to work with someone who suffered a mental health problem, while just over half said they could live with someone who struggled with the issue.

One in seven people surveyed admitted that they would put off treatment for a mental health problem over fears that others would find out. This opinion was particularly prevalent in young males and those under 35.

Although the figures are nowhere near where they need to be, John Saunders, CEO of See Change, has said that the stigma around mental health is beginning to break down with more and more people willing to open up and talk about their issues.

Sony Music have finally cut ties with Dr. Luke almost three years after Kesha claimed the producer sexually assaulted her in a hotel room.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dr. Luke, or Lukasz Gottwald, is currently still involved in a legal battle with singer, Kesha over the allegations.

He has been removed from his position as head of Sony’s Kemosabe Records, with the company suggesting that it wants to distance themselves from the accused amid the controversy.

The legal dispute has been ongoing since 2014, when Dr. Like sued Kesha for defamation and she in turn, countersued, claiming the producer forced her to take a date-rape drug before proceeding to sexually assault her.

The singer also claimed that he maintained ‘’suffocating control’’ over her life for a decade, and would constantly insult her looks and musical ability.

A court document, filed last Friday stated that Kemosabe Records was "wholly-owned by Sony Music Entertainment. Lukasz Gottwald is no longer the CEO… and does not have authority to act on its behalf."

It’s not all good news though. Many people are suggesting that Dr. Luke could use his dismissal to back-up his claims that Kesha’s accusation has had a damaging effect on his career.

We love a good old sandwich, and you can't beat combos such as ham and cheese or chicken and stuffing. Yum.

So, when journalist, Chris Deerin, came across a rather odd sandwich, he decided to post it on Twitter with the caption, "name a less edible sandwich. I'll wait."

The double cheese, onion and salad baguette does sound (and look) quite nasty, however the people of Twitter delivered when it came to naming other rotten sambo fillings.

We're honestly gagging at some of these:

Well, now you can indulge in all your candy-coloured fantasies – at the same time and in the same place.

A museum of ice cream has just opened in LA and tickets are already sold out for the next month.

There are even giant gummy bears.

Friends, Maryellis Bunn and Manish Vora opened the exhibit, currently in downtown Los Angeles, which also includes a pool filled with 100 million sprinkles.

According to reports, it is three feet deep and can fit about a dozen people at a time, however we're not sure we'd fancy getting sprinkles stuck in our clothes.

As well as giant lolly pop props and sprinkle pools, guests are also served everything from breakfast-themed ice-cream sandwiches and mint macarons.

Tickets can be bought online but are sold out until June. The friends plan to bring the exhibition to more cities.

Researchers have found that 'diet' foods can actually make you put on weight and contribute to an array of other health problems.

Scientists from the University of Georgia conducted a study and found that even though high-fat foods are often targeted for obesity, it's actually sugar-laden 'diet' products which cause the most harm.

In the study, rats were fed the equivalent of 'diet' foods (high in sugar but low in fat) and saw that this actually made them put on weight when compared to a balanced rodent diet.

The study's principal investigator, Krzysztof Czaja, said: "Most so-called diet products containing low or no fat have an increased amount of sugar and are camouflaged under fancy names, giving the impression that they are healthy.

"The reality is that those foods may damage the liver and lead to obesity as well."

Krzysztof continued: "What's really troubling in our findings is that the rats consuming high-sugar, low-fat diets didn't consume significantly more calories than the rats fed a balanced diet.

"Our research shows that rats fed a low-fat, high-sugar diet, the efficiency of generating body fat is more than twice as high — in other words, rats consuming low-fat high-sugar diets need less than half the number of calories to generate the same amount of body fat."

The unbalanced diets also caused chronic inflammation in the intestinal tract and brain. which Krzysztof believes damages the vagus nerve, which controls sensory signals, including the brain's ability to determine when you're full.

"The brain changes resulting from these unbalanced diets seem to be long term, and it is still not known if they are reversible by balanced diets," she said.

Among the flurry of thinly-veiled sexist remarks Piers Morgan made after seeing an un-airbrushed photo of a bikini-clad Kim Kardashian this week, he did utter one sentence which is worth remembering.

In reference to cellulite which could be seen on Kim's thighs if you were so inclined to search for it, Piers said: "Accept it."

Yes, he dismissed the notion that dimpled thighs should be celebrated, but he did suggest something many of us have been refusing to do when it comes to our litany of perceived 'flaws'.

Accept it, and get over it.

While his intention clearly wasn't to buoy the female population or offer any form of support when it came to issues surrounding body image, he did, albeit inadvertently, remind us that there are – among myriad other things in this life – some things we have to just accept.

And there's a lot to be said for finding the confidence to do just that.

As many women will attest, railing against 'flawed' body parts is draining beyond all measure.

Fixating on 'imperfections' is exhausting.

And attempting to conceal areas of your anatomy that haven't had the photoshop treatment is a surefire way to sap yourself of self-confidence, self-assurance and self-worth.

So maybe Piers, in this instance, is right.

Few of us have reached the celebratory stage of cellulite, but even less have reached the acceptance stage, and desperately attempt to fix, conceal or apologise for its presence.

While his distaste over Kim's unphotoshopped physique was far from subtle and his disregard for his female co-host's praise blatant, the 52-year-old did provide a kernel of advice…whether he realised it or not.

And while he did – following his televised remarks – take to Twitter to hammer home the notion that cellulite is a 'flaw', we'd do well to focus on the brief tip he did mention.

Flaw or not, it is  – as something many women sport – something we need to accept, because hey, for most of us it's here to stay.

Yes, the nugget of advice was fleeting. Yes, it was bookended by other remarks which suggest Piers needs a lesson or two in diplomacy. And yes it did remind us that when it comes to certain matters, Piers is far from an oracle.

But just like Kim's cellulite, if you were inclined to search for it, it was actually there.
