According to emerging reports, Rolling Stones frontman, Mick Jagger, is set to become a dad for the eight time at the age of 72.

With People magazine speculating over whether Sir Mick and his 29-year-old partner, Melanie Hamrick, were indeed expecting, a representative for the British rocker confirmed the news this week.

Speaking to The Sun, a source close to the couple explained that while Mick and Melanie were thrilled by the news, they intend to take the development in their stride.

"She knows what a great relationship Mick has with all of his children and can't wait for him to be a dad again," they said. "They are taking the news in their stride."

Paying tribute to the ballerina who began dating the Rolling Stones frontman following the death of his partner, L'Wren Scott in 2014, the source added: "She's very bright, intelligent, sparky and has her own ideas about how she wants to lead her life."

With some corners of society raising an eyebrow at the expectant father's age, the insider insisted: "This is great news. It will be Mick's eighth child and nothing fazes him. He's been incredibly supportive."

The news comes just two months after Mick's bandmate, Ronnie Wood, welcomed twins at the age of 68.

Following the devastating events which unfolded in Nice last night, Rihanna has taken to social media to pay tribute to the victims, and announce that she will be postponing her concert scheduled for tonight.

In an Instagram post which has received a staggering 366,000 likes since its upload four hours ago, Rihanna, who is currently in Nice, wrote: "Due to the tragic events in #Nice, my concert scheduled for tomorrow July 15 at Allianz Stadium will not be going ahead as planned."

Sharing a photo of the French flag in the shape of a heart, she added: "Our thoughts are with the victims and their families "

Authorities in France are currently investigating the incident which saw the death of more than 80 people during Bastille Day celebrations in the French city last night.

According to The Telegraph, the individual responsible for last night's atrocity was known to police, with an investigating source confirming: "He was known to the police for violence, and using weapons, but had no direct links with terrorism."

"His identity car was found in the lorry," the source continued, referring to the vehicle the individual used to plough through crowds of people before being shot dead by French police. "He had French and Tunisian nationality."

Numerous other high-profile individuals, including Simon Cowell, Kris Jenner and Justin Timberlake have also taken to social media to express their regret over last night's attack.

Sending condolences, Simon Cowell tweeted: "“Just heard the terrible news from Nice. I am shocked. My thoughts and prayers to all affected."

"Our prayers are with you. We must continue to spread love in the face of hate," wrote Kris while Justin shared the #PrayForNice hashtag.

*This is a developing story*

France has once again been struck by tragedy; as the nation celebrates Bastille Day – a truck has ploughed into a crowd of people, killing at least dozens.

Horrific images showing bodies lying on the side of the road in the city of Nice are now flooding social media.

The incident is being treated as a suspected terrorist incident by French authorities, who have not yet formally identified the perpetrators of the attack.

Numerous people have also been injured – with many more fleeing the scene in panic.

France is still under a State Of Emergency following last year's brutal attacks on Paris, when almost 150 people were murdered by those loyal to Islamic State and Al-Qaeda.

The people who brought the wizardly world of Hogwarts to the big screen have sparked a whole lot of speculation that another Potter flick could be on the way as they have reportedly filed a request to trademark the West End play Harry Potter And The Cursed Child.

The two-part play was written by Jack Thorne but is based on a story written by Potter creator JK Rowling, Jack Thorne and a director named John Tiffany.

The stage play is set 19 years after the events of the last Harry Potter novel and documents Harry’s adult life as an employee at the Ministry of Magic and that of his son Albus Severus Potter as he embarks on his own Hogwarts journey.

And now – according to The Telegraph – Warner Bros have submitted a trademark request for a variety of goods and projects related to The Cursed Child including “motion picture films featuring comedy, drama, action, adventure and/or animation, and motion picture films for broadcast on television featuring comedy, drama, action, adventure and/or animation".

However since news of the request broke there’s been a cruel update for Potter fans as the Irish Examiner has reported that a rep for JK Rowling has said there are no plans for the show to be made into a film and that “this type of trademarking is standard practice”.  Nooo!

These comments seem to back up a statement made by the Rowling herself back in February when she tweeted that The Cursed Child is play, not a movie.

So after all that, it looks like you’ll have to head to the West End if you want to find out what Harry does next.

Last week Victoria and David Beckham shared some cute family snaps on Instagram to celebrate their daughter Harper’s fifth birthday.

And while the majority of their followers recognised the pics for what they were (freakin’ adorable) a number of people took to social media to complain that Victoria’s post was inappropriate because it showed little Harper kissing her mum on the lips.

Well it seems Harper’s 13-year-old brother Romeo already has more sense than those who trolled his mam as – according to The Mirror – he has responded to their negativity in the best way possible.

The teen shared a selfie on his Facebook page which shows Victoria kissing him on the cheek and is captioned: “I still love my mother’s kisses.”  Bless!

The sweet post was then sealed with a simple heart emoji.

We think it is awesome that Romeo was willing to stand up for his mum against the trolls.

In a newly released clip from the upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim explains to Kourtney why she spilled the beans on TayTay in last month’s interview with GQ magazine.

In the explosive article, Kim slammed the pop star for denying having prior knowledge that Kanye West would mention her in his song Famous before its February release.

And in the new E! clip, Kim defends her decision to expose Taylor.  She says: “I never talk sh*it about anyone publicly, especially in interviews.  But I was just like I have so had it.”

"I just felt like I wanted to defend him in it because it's like, [Taylor] legitimately quote says, ‘As soon as I get on that Grammy red carpet I'm gonna tell all the press. Like I was in on it.'"

Kourtney then suggests that Taylor was unhappy with the reaction the song’s references to her received – which included Kanye claiming he made Taylor famous and suggesting that he “might still have sex” with the star.

Kim continues the controversial conversation with her sister by saying Taylor’s response was “just another way to play the victim” as doing so “definitely got her a lot of attention the first time” – a direct reference to the near historic moment Kanye interrupted Taylor’s VMA acceptance speech in support on Beyoncé's Single Ladies video.

In a cut away, Kim then tells the camera: "I feel like I've had it with people blatantly treating my husband a certain way, making him look a certain way.”

"Kanye is always so honest and speaks his mind.  And you know, when we were first dating, people would always talk sh*t and he always had my back.”

“At this point, I really don't give a f*ck so I'll do whatever to protect my husband."

The extract finishes with Kourtney praising Kim for speaking out, to which Kim responds: “Yeah, I’m just speaking the truth.”

While we’d love to hear what Taylor has to say about Kim’s claims, we’re thinking it could be a while before she speaks up as she has yet to respond to her ex Calvin Harris’ latest Twitter revelations and Katy Perry’s reaction to the Calvin V Hiddleswift situation.

If you’ve ever found yourself racing through the airport in your jammies as your stun bun slowly drifts off the back of your head, you’ll understand Vicky Pattison’s latest tweet.

In a world where celebrities are constantly pictured in full glamour mode as they strut through every terminal from here to Timbuktu, the Newcastle native has taken to Twitter with a good ole dose of reality.

Sharing a split screen picture of a dolled-up Ferne McCann and her hoody-wearing self, Vicky tweeted: “There are two types of girls in the world…Look how glamourous @fernemccann is compared to me man!”

The attached image shows both stars making their way through the airport and while Ferne looks picture perfect in a satin bomber, black mini-dress and choker, her Geordie Shore mate looks a bit more hoody-hun than star stunner as she crouches behind her two giant suitcases.

It’s great to see Vicky in such good form after her emotional appearance on Loose Women yesterday afternoon.

No matter how powerful the woman or prestigious her role, there exists a compulsion within the media to focus on the aesthetic.

Whether reporting on a promotion, fall from grace or contribution to global politics, it’s rare that coverage doesn’t – at some point – turn its attention to the woman in question’s appearance.

And, as we all know, the focus on clothing, hair style and heel height are intensified if the woman at the centre of the piece happens to the wife or partner of a prominent male public figure.

Turning that trend on its head this week, a writer for The Metro has given a thorough assessment of Philip May – the husband of Conservative Prime Minister Theresa May.

In an article which has been shared a staggering 33,000 times,  Nicole Morley satirised typical reporting of this nature, writing: ”Theresa May became Britain’s new prime minister, but her husband’s big fashion moment stole the show.”

"Stepping into the limelight as First Man, Philip May showcased a sexy navy suit with a flourish of pinstripe,” she wrote. “Round glasses perched on his nose accentuated his amazing bone structure – no doubt one of the assets he used to help him to bag his wife.”

“Philip elongated his pins with a pair of black brogues as he accompanied his wife to step over the threshold of their new home – 10 Downing Street,” she added, and the internet can’t get enough.

Taking to Twitter to add their voice to the fashion moment of the week, members of the public continued the trend.

"Pressing question of the day is where does Philip May get his shoes? " wrote one Twitter user  "Is he fit to display British fashion to the world?”

"As First Man, or First Hubby as some are already calling him, Philip will no doubt have been expecting his fashion choices to go under the microscope," Nicole concluded.

Give that woman a prize!

Khloé Kardashian hasn't been having the easiest time of it lately.

With rumours swirling about her husband Lamar Odom, and social media users accusing her of major hypocrisy this week, it's no surprise the 32-year-old reality star might want to take a step back from the limelight every now and again.

What with being a Kardashian, however, Khloé was never going to fully bow out, and instead chose to make a social media star of her pet pooch, Gabbana.

In a move that has the famous Calabasas clan written all over it, Khloé decided to put a GoPro on her dog, and upload her adventures to Instagram.

And the internet is absolutely loving it.

Sharing the footage with the public earlier today, Khloé wrote: "You guys!!! I put a GoPro on my dog Gabbana and the video is the best thing ever. She's just too cute!!"

1.3 million views later, it looks like Khloé's Instagram followers agree…

No matter how content you are in your own skin, no one feels their best when they have to strip off in the locker room after an intense gym session.

Thankfully, most women have the common decency to turn a blind eye to one another and leave their phones in their lockers when it comes to communal showering, but unfortunately Dani Mathers isn't one of them.

In one seriously d*ck move, the Playboy model and former Playmate of the Year took it upon herself to take a photo of an unassuming naked woman which she then posted to Snapchat.

Shaming the anonymous individual, Dani captioned the picture: "If I can't unsee this then you can't either."

Thankfully, it looks like Dani's followers are a lot sounder than she is and wasted no time calling out the star on her shameful behaviour.

Realising she didn't have the backing of the public on this one, Dani apologised before suggesting that she had no intention of publicly shaming the woman and the image was only meant for a girlfriend.

Whether for public or personal consumption, it was still Dani that captioned it…

A French teenager has kicked off a new Twitter trend which supports women who choose not to remove their body hair after she was teased at school for not shaving.

According to the Mail Online, 16-year-old Adele Labo started the hashtag #LesPrincessesOntDesPoils – which means “Princesses have hair” – to show women that the removal of underarm, leg and facial hair should be viewed as a choice rather than a necessity.

Since the tag first emerged, it has been used over 25,000 times on Twitter as women take to social media to share pictures of their hair.

In a video shared by AJ+, the Lille teen said: “I created the hashtag to encourage people to post about their body hair and relax, be comfortable with their own body.”

“And I wanted women in general to not feel obliged to shave their hair but to feel that they have a choice.”

“In society, the woman has to be shaved, soft, beautiful.  We ask the woman to be natural and herself but we impose a lot of stigma on [hair] and it bothers me.”

Adele was keen to stress that the movement is about acknowledging that the removal of body hair should be viewed as a personal choice rather than some form of social obligation and said she is not implying that all women should stop shaving and waxing in favour of a more natural look.

She said: “[Remove your hair] if you really want to.  But if you feel obliged to do it, don’t.”

“The movement is not at all to prevent women from [shaving].  It’s really to tell women they have the choice.  They shouldn’t feel forced.”

“They shouldn’t feel dirty or ashamed for not doing it because it is normal.”

The tag has launched quite the debate online with some Twitter users saying they wish they'd had Adele’s courage when they were a teen, while others have described the trend as “disgusting and foolish”.

In a recent candid interview with Marie Claire, actress and comedian, Amy Schumer – in a display of considerably bravery – opened up about life and love, and in the process shared some very unsettling memories of her first sexual experience.

Reflecting on an incident which she had buried away until very recently, the Trainwreck star admitted: "My first sexual experience was not a good one."

"I didn't think about it until I started reading my journal again," she confessed. "When it happened, I wrote about it almost like a throwaway."

Recalling the harrowing event which adds to current narrative surrounding rape culture and victim shaming, she explained: "It was like, And then I looked down and realized he was inside of me. He was saying, 'I'm so sorry' and 'I can't believe I did this.'"

Turning her attention to the present, the popular actress admits that she mightn't be the easiest person to date, but most of it comes down to a lack of self esteem.

"Being in love is the scariest thing in the world," she opined. "You want to f*cking cry and scream. I can't handle it."

"Every time we say good-bye, I think,"This will have been a nice last week together," she admitted. "Or I tell myself nothing is real and he's going to leave me and tell me he never loved me."

"I feel so bad for him. How exhausting it must be dating me," she added.

Amy's full interview will be hitting newsstands on July 19.
