With two particularly high-profile relationships behind them, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are reluctant to get too serious too soon, but it looks like it might be heading that way anyway.

Katy, who was once married to Russell Brand, and Orlando, who shares a son with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, began dating at the beginning of the year, and by the sounds of things, it's getting more serious by the second.

According to a source close to Orlando – he of the naked paddle boarding – he's head over heels about Katy, and can already see them starting a family of their own.

Spilling the deets to PEOPLE, an insider said: "He would love to settle down with Katy and have more kids. He hasn't been this serious about a girl since Miranda."

Explaining that Orlando has fallen hard for the Rise singer, they added that he "always gushes about Katy and thinks she is amazing in a million ways,"

But it sounds like Katy is leaning more towards keeping things simple, with the insider adding: "Katy's divorce from Russell [Brand] really messed her up emotionally."

So while they're not engaged just yet, this source is confident wedding bells are on the horizon, saying: "[It] seems to be heading that way."

Naked wedding, anyone?

Remember when Laura from HR sauntered into the staff room and casually asked for a tampon while Mick from Accounts busied himself with the teabags?

Yeah, me neither.

And that’s because it never happened.

If Laura from HR needed a tampon, you can be damn sure you’ll have found out via email or through a secret gesture the pair of you perfected for moments when you’re packing and she’s lacking.

Despite the fact millions of women deal with the inconvenience of a period every single month for half their lives, many of us still act like it’s something we should whisper about in case we embarrass ourselves… or anyone else.

Yes, there are those athletes who run marathons while free-bleeding and those college students who share photos of blood-stained underwear online, but these acts are often done as a form of statement.

In general, these efforts are made in order to raise awareness of 'period-shaming', sanitation failures in third world countries or global corporations’ stance on censorship.

But when referred to in day-to-day life, periods are spoken of in brief with a friend, in hushed tones with a colleague or in confidence with a practitioner.

And while menstruating is as normal a bodily function as peeing, sneezing or yawning, it’s only the former we approach in a covert manner.

If your co-worker began sliding packets of tissues up her sleeve before whispering she needed to sneeze in the other room, you’d begin asking questions.

If she commando-crawled to the bathroom so no one would guess she needed to pee, you’d definitely have a quiet word.

And if she assigned a non-specific gender to a common complaint by calling a headcold 'human problems', for example, you'd reassess your relationship.

When it comes to periods, we’re all in this together which – on the surface – sounds comforting, but it doesn’t do much to remove the taboo.

When they whisper, we whisper back. When they nudge, we nudge back.

And while no one’s suggesting we forego public decency in the name of our monthly cycle, is it too much ask that we don’t feel the need to go Ocean's Eleven on a co-worker when looking for a tampon?

Earlier this week, Chinese swimmer, Fu Yuanhui, left viewers slackjawed when she dared to refer to the arrival of her period in a matter of fact manner… in front of billions.

Unlike other instances where periods are discussed on a public platform – think stand-up comics, for example – it wasn’t said to provoke a reaction, but merely to help account for her performance.

“I didn’t swim well enough this time because my period came yesterday, so I felt particularly tired – but this isn’t a reason. I still didn’t swim well enough,” she told reporters.

These moments offer hope that there might come a time when periods will be referred to on a public platform as nothing more than a fact of life, and not something to be used as comedy club fodder, a political tool or a vehicle for men to express their repulsion/ wonder (delete as applicable) for the menstrual cycle

Although if the response to a recent furore in Georgia is anything to go by, we may be waiting.

A fitness centre in the city of Tbilisi recently made headlines after advising women they should bow out of that week’s swim sessions if they were wearing anything other than a pair of togs.

You know, like a tampon.

Concerned that menstruating women may contaminate the pool’s water, the powers that be went to the effort of creating and distributing signs that told women they could essentially eff off if they were on their period.

Ladies, if we make figurative lepers of ourselves by acting like our bodies are something to be embarrassed by every month, these guys made it literal.

And, unfortunately for us women, a worrying number of people agreed with the policy.

“Some people have strong periods that even when they use Tampax the blood leaks out,” wrote one Facebook user named Nawrus Akkam. “I am sorry but if I am swimming in the pool I do not want to see that.”

Really, Nawrus? Tell that to Fu Yuanhui.

When it comes to photoshopping, there very much exists an 'us versus them' attitude.

With both the modelling industry and many high-profile individuals quick to deny the extent to which they photoshop their photos, we mere mortals are often left feeling a mixture of cynicism and betrayal.

And while we're all too aware that photoshop is as vital an element as the model herself, many of us still aspire to attain the 'perfection' created after the final shot was snapped.

Pulling down the barrier which exists between us and them, model, Iskra Lawrence, decided to share an image of herself  before and after spending ten minutes photoshopping herself.

"Shocking it only took me about 10 minutes to photoshop myself to "perfection". But WTF is perfect?" wrote the 25-year-old.

"We weren't born thinking flaws made you less beautiful we are taught by society and the media that we should feel insecure about our flaws so we buy into certain products etc to "improve" or attain perfection."

"I wanted to post the unretouched pic right next to the retouched one so you could see the impact of how a few edits all done on my phone can completely change the way someone looks," Iskra explained.

Perplexed by the idea she would want to mislead her Instagram followers, she added: "I can't leave home everyday retouched & live in the "real world" airbrushed so why would I want to pretend to be online?"

In the post which has racked up almost 140,000 likes since its recent upload, Iskra finished by writing: "What's real is you and you are good enough cus those "flaws" make you completely unique." (sic)

And the best part? Most Instagram users thought Iskra looked better in the before snap.

According to reports emerging this afternoon, Lillie Lexie has been left devastated by the relationship Stephen Bear shared with Chloe Khan inside the Celebrity Big Brother house.

And it doesn't sounds like she plans to wait for his eviction to have it out with him.

According to The Mirror, Gaz Beadle's ex-girlfriend has been spotted outside the Elstree studios with a packed suitcase sparking rumours that Stephen may be in for a very unwelcome surprise tonight.

Lillie, who dated Geordie Shore's Gary for two years, had plans to marry Stephen after meeting on Ex on the Beach, but it looks like Stephen's romance has (unsurprisingly) put the brakes on those plans.

"I just want to know why he's done this to me. How can you do that to someone you care about?" she said while speaking exclusively to The Mirror last night.

Referring to Stephen's X-rated on-screen antics with Chloe Khan, Lillie added; "If the roles had been reversed, no way in a million years would I have behaved the way he has. I wouldn't want his family to see that."

Clearly stunned that the man she planned to marry would disrespect her in front of millions, Lillie added:" The thing is, if he doesn't want to be with me then that's fine, but why couldn't he have just said that before he went into the house?"

Lillie recently hit the headlines after a very public spat with Geordie Shore's Charlotte.

With Big Brother well and truly making its presence known over the last month, some of its ex-cast members are announcing good news of their own.

Louise Cliffe from series 12 and Stu Pilkington from series nine have announced that they’re expecting their first child together.

After many years of friendship, the pair are excited to be starting their family together.

“We’re over the moon to announce that we’re having a baby.

“After being best friends for years then finally getting together, we’re delighted to now become a little family,” the pair told the Daily Mail.

After making it to the final in 2011, Louise spent years working as a model and now plans to turn her hand to blogging as she documents her pregnancy with other expectant mums.

Stu has spent his time sharing his expertise in wellbeing and fitness since his stint on the reality show in 2008.

At twelve weeks pregnant, Louise is due in early 2017 and cannot wait for that the year has in store.

“How exciting to go into 2017 knowing in advance it’s definitely going to be the best year of our lives – we feel so blessed.”

When it comes to style and beauty, there's absolutely no denying that Kylie Jenner is the most adventurous of her world-famous sisters.

At just 18, Kylie shows no fear when road-testing a new look or trialing an up-and-coming trend, so it's no surprise she regularly grabs headlines for her experimental approach to all things fashion-related.

But whether her look is something the rest of us mere mortals could attempt on a day-to-day basis is another story, right?

Thankfully for everyone only dying to inject a little Kylie into their lives, Limerick blogger, Jade Mc Namara decided to investigate.

Documented on her bigbrowsmessyhair Instagram page, Jade spends a week in Kylie Jenner's shoes, and the results are nothing short of stunning.

Acknowledging that Kylie's look may not always suit a day spent dashing between showers and shops, Jade wrote: "Not sure how ideal this outfit would be for your average Tuesday running everyday errands in Ireland tho." (sic)

Emphasising Kylie's chameleon-like approach to her wardrobe, Jade alternated between down-time, red carpet and uber-glam, and we're officially inspired.

After rocking Kylie's down-time look and denim and knee-high combo, Jade recreated one of Kylie's most recognisable looks – a plunging, figure-hugging white dress.

Explaining that it's a style she would happily rock of her own accord, Jade wrote: "This was a great outfit to finish the week on…I found it very easy to recreate."

Jade has unsurprisingly been inundated with comments from fashion-forward grammers only dying for more of the blogger's updates.

"Love seeing more videos of you on snap btw," wrote one. "Keep em' coming."

We're with them on that one.

There was certainly LOADS of drama this week with Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber and Sofia Richie.

But even so, JB and Sofia seem to be totally inseparable.

The pair were first seen together in Laguna Beach where they were spotted holding hands, and a week later, it doesn't seem like it's going to fizzle out anytime soon.

Oh, he can cover 100 meters in 9.81 seconds, but could Usain Bolt solve a Rubiks's Cude in the same amount of time?

Reminding the public that some skills have yet to be included in the Olympic Games, one YouTuber decided to share footage of himself competing against Usain… in two very separate events.

While the Jamaican runner competed for an Olympic gold in the 100-metre, Anthony Brooks crouched in front of his television screen and frantically completed the head-melting puzzle in the same amount of time.

In footage which has been viewed more than 66,000 on YouTube since its upload earlier this week, Anthony, whose mother is the Jamaican national record holder for the Rubik's Cube,  wrote: "Two Jamaicans race against the clock. To the world!"

Since we struggle to run for a bus and once tried to dismantle a Rubik's Cube in fury, we're pretty impressed by everything going on in this video.

"I've gotten to the point where it's a pain in the arse getting dressed."

She added that her age also comes in as a factor.

"The older you get the classier you want to look, and me wearing a nice classy dress… classy dresses don't tend to be made of lycra. I'd rather have a reduction."

Before landing the role of Ross Geller in Friends, David Schwimmer had studied acting at Northwestern University and treaded the boards in LA.

In an effort to hone his craft, a young David would regularly engage with other people and happily draw inspiration from day-to-day situations, but this all changed after Friends hit the big time in the mid 90s.

Stunned by the level of fame he was experiencing at the height of his television career, David recently admitted that he began to withdraw – something which went against everything he had been taught during his days in university.

"As an actor, the way I was trained, my job was to observe life and to observe other people, so I used to walk around with my head up, really engaged and watching people," he told the Hollywood Reporter.

"The effect of celebrity was the absolute opposite: it made me want to hide under a baseball cap and not be seen," he explained. "And I realised after a while that I was no longer watching people; I was trying to hide."

After becoming a household name along with his five co-stars, a 27-year-old David struggled with the implications of their overnight fame.

"It was pretty jarring and it messed with my relationship to other people in a way that took years, I think, for me to adjust to and become comfortable with," he admitted.

Attempting to reconcile the actor he was before hitting the big time and the actor that emerged from the hit sitcom took David some time.

"So I was trying to figure out: How do I be an actor in this new world, in this new situation? How do I do my job? That was tricky," he said.

Since finishing his last coffee in Central Perk, David has starred in a number of shows, mostly recently earning an Emmy nomination for his role in The People v. O.J Simpson: American Crime Story.
