An unimaginable tragedy: an eight-year-old girl enjoying a day out in a popular zoo died after a rock was hurled at her by an elephant.

According to eye-witnesses, the youngster was on her dad's shoulders getting a photograph taken by her mother when the tragedy took place.

She was struck on the head and later died in hospital.

The establishment, Rabat Zoo on the east coast of Morocco, said afterwards in a statement that it was greatly saddened by the incident.

However,  it added that "accidents of this type are rare, unforeseeable and unusual".

It furthermore highlighted that other accidents have taken place recently in other international zoos – citing Disney World Orlando, where a child was taken a killed by an alligator, and Cincinnati Zoo, where a boy fell into a gorilla enclosure but survived – as examples.

An investigation into the incident has now been launched, says moroccoworldnews.com.

Videos posted to YouTube depict the little girl receiving medical care from passersby.

Some social media noted that the ambulance was delayed arriving to treat the the youngster. On TripAdvisor, the zoo – which opened in 2012 – has largely positive feedback.

Indeed, one visitor wrote that it is a "world-class zoo and family-friendly". They added: "You can easily navigate a baby stroller throughout the zoo."

We hold our hands up – unless we're gym-bound or bed-bound, the vast majority of us here at SHEmazing! HQ would balk at the idea of going totally bare-faced.

And while we all shared a nomakeup selfie in aid of breast cancer research back in 2014, we generally don't tend to make a habit of it.

There are, however, some very brave women walking amongst who are more than happy to snap themselves looking bare-faced and beautiful at every available opportunity.

Not a jot of concealer, not a hint of lippie, not a trace of mascara… oh, wait.

Ladies? It looks like you have some explaining to do…

1. Oh, to have the genes that provide you with lashes that thick and lips that shade.

A gal can dream…

2. If you're going to wear lipstick, you don't get to rock a nomakeupselfie tag.

Next!

3. Are we totally and utterly sure those lashes are free of mascara?

We are not.

4. You have to ditch ALL the lipstick before you can hashtag nomakeup, right?

Back of the line!

Some girls have all the luck…

6. Wait, eye makeup counts as makeup, right?

It does, it definitely does!

Wait, what's the tag again?

And if we're wrong? More power to 'em!

First Harry signed a solo recording deal, and then Liam sent fans into a frenzy when he revealed he was going out on his own as well.

But now, it's Niall Horan's turn.

Simon Cowell has revealed that Niall is set to announce his solo recording deal very soon, and he's teaming up with the major music mogule for it.

"Niall is the most loyal. We are expecting to announce something soon with him," the X Factor judge told People.

“I think they’re all going to do great. I worked with these guys for six years, so I always hoped they would all stay within what I call the Sony family, but I think only one won’t,” Simon added.

He's obviously referring to Liam here, who just signed with Capitol Records last week, and then went on to delete all trace of One Direction from his Twitter account.

It was a rousing speech by any – even his own – standards: Barack Obama implored the USA to make sure that Hillary Clinton becomes the nation's first female president when voters go to the polls in November.

And, as the current US president is delightfully want to do, Barack veered away from the prepared script somewhat while addressing the Democratic party national conference yesterday.

"Nothing truly prepares you for the demands of the Oval Office," he said. "But Hillary’s been in the room; she’s been part of those decisions. She knows what’s at stake.

"No matter how daunting the odds; no matter how much people try to knock her down, she never, ever quits," he added.

Sitting proudly in the audience of thousands was, of course, Bill Clinton, Hillary's husband of 40-odd years and a former POTUS himself.

"That’s the Hillary I know. That’s the Hillary I’ve come to admire,"  Barack continued to applause.

"And that’s why I can say with confidence there has never been a man or a woman – not me, not Bill, nobody – more qualified than Hillary Clinton to serve as president of the United States of America.

Significantly, when Mr Obama offered up the "not me, not Bill" line – which wasn't actually in his speech – Mr Clinton's face broke into a sheepish grin.

And when the cheers had died down, Obama added: "I hope you don't mind, Bill, I was just telling the truth!"

If we didn't love her enough already, Mila Kunis has given us yet another reason to think she's one of the soundest stars in the business.

After recently revealing that she and Ashton started off as friends with benefits, Mila then gave viewers of  The Late Late Show a pretty detailed description of the actor's manhood, and now she's spilling deets on the cost of her wedding ring.

While appearing on Conan this week, the Black Swan star acknowledged she has a bit of a reputation for thriftiness, and it turns out this extends to the most important piece of jewellery in her collection.

After telling the audience that Ashton had bought her a stunning engagement ring, the 32-year-old actress admitted she wasn't content with the idea of splashing thousands on a wedding ring, and opted instead to pick one up for €90 on Etsy instead.

Proving he's the flasher one in the relationship, Ashton splashed out an extra $10 and is now sporting a ring from a website we normally get our cutest birthday cards from.

Never change guys, never change.

If you think your house is chaotic just stop and think for moment what it must be like to be part of a family of 21 – because for Britain's biggest family that situation is now a reality.

Noel and Sue Radford from Lancashire welcomed their nineteenth child to the world over the weekend as 41-year-old Sue gave birth to a little girl named Phoebe Willow.

The Radfords found fame on Channel 4's 16 Kids and Counting back in 2013 and have since gone on to expand their impressive brood with three new additions.  But even since Phoebe's arrival, Sue has confessed they could be tempted to have one more.

The busy mum told The Sun: “Our friends and family keep saying I should have one more child to get an even number, rounding the family off at 20.”

“I can’t rule it out. At the moment I am happy to have Phoebe with us. She is healthy and a little stunner.”

And while you might think the couple’s time would be totally tied up with managing their expansive brood, Noel and Sue also run a successful family-owned bakery and pie business.

According to the Daily Mail, the couple pride themselves of not receiving any benefits from the state and going on annual trips abroad with the whole family.

As well as baby Phoebe, Noel and Sue are also parents to Chris, 27; Sophie, 22; Chloe, 21; Jack, 19; Daniel, 17; Luke, 15; Millie, 14; Katie, 13; James, 12; Ellie, 11; Aimee, 10; Josh, nine; Max, seven; Tillie, six; Oscar, four; Casper, three; and Hallie, aged 13 months.

If you were one of the thousands left devastated by the cancellation of Garth Brooks' Croke Park gigs in 2014 or missed out on Adele's 3Arena concerts back in March, it sounds like you're about to get a second chance to see these musical legends do their thing in Ireland.

Well, according to Lord Mayor of Cork Cllr Des Cahill, that is.

Speaking on Cork's Red FM this morning, the Lord Mayor hinted that the People's Republic might be welcoming both Adele and Garth in the not-too-distant future.

"The speculation that we could be welcoming Garth Brooks and Adele to Leeside next summer is outstanding news for Cork," he said while speaking to prominent radio DJ, Neil Prendeville.

"Although the concerts have yet to be officially confirmed the speculation that two blockbuster gigs are in the pipeline for the new Cork stadium in the summer of 2017 is a huge boost," he added.

Adding even more fuel to the fire, Lord Mayor Cahill took to Twitter this morning to express his excitement over the possibility that the city might soon be hosting two of the biggest names in the music industry.

We know it's not confirmed, we know it's not a sure thing, but that hasn't stopped us planning our route to Cork…

A marriage proposal could be on the cards for former Disney star, Hilary Duff, but not from anyone she actually knows.

The proposal is coming from a scary individual who is driving all over her town searching for her… creepy right?

Hilary Duff

Police reached out to Hilary this week to warn her about a man/ stalker who has been driving around Beverly Hills looking for her home.

Law enforcement have said that the ordeal started earlier this month when the man in question hired a limo driver to chauffeur him around the celebrity-filled neighbourhood.

According to TMZ, the man was carrying a picture of a house he said was Hilary's, but did not know her address (thank GOD).

He proceeded to have the limo driver search for two hours, during which he spoke about his plans to propose to Hilary.

When the car ride ended, the driver was pretty concerned about 28-year-old's safety, so he called the police.

Hilary's security team are aware of the man and what he looks like, and have had issues with him before.

Sources close to the Lizzie McGuire actress say that she has added more manpower to her security and the guards in her gated community are also on alert for this crazy man.

Mistaking one product for another while fumbling around the bathroom bleary-eyed is part and parcel of our morning routine, and yet despite this we've (thankfully) never left the house sporting a bald patch after mistaking hair removal cream for Head and Shoulders.

But if a recent upload to Imgur is anything to go by, not every young woman has been as fortunate as the ladies here at SHEmazing! HQ.

After supposedly mistaking Nair for shampoo, one particular lady did what any self-respecting millennial would do and allowed her sibling to upload an image of her disaster to Imgur.

Sporting a hairstyle not unlike our grandfathers', she gave her best Blue Steel while acting as a walking advertisement for opening your eyes before applying any product to your body.

Unsurprisingly, Imgur users are calling major BS on the snap, with many insisting that the young woman would have realised her mistake before sporting a head you can see your reflection in.

"Staged. Nair BURNS!" wrote one. "You physically feel something burning on your scalp, and you have to wait 15 minutes for it to work."

While some users insisted they could see the edges of a bald cap, others expressed concern over the girl's lathering skills, writing: "I'm more concerned that she didn't shampoo the sides of her head."

"If she thought that was shampoo then she did a sh*tty job of washing her hair," added another.

Can't kid a kidder…

Always read the label.

When it comes to dealing with your anxiety, it is important to tackle it head-on from the root cause; to know what your triggers are and to know how to deal them.

And while anxiety is not something you can pinpoint down – it can vary from person to person and from experience to experience – there are a number of common triggers.

1. Caffeine

Whether it’s from your afternoon coffee or your sports drink, caffeine can trigger anxiety in those sensitive to the ingredient. Even just one cup can leave a person dealing with heart palpitations and feelings of anxiety that can appear several hours later.

How to deal with it: Cut caffeine out of your diet completely.

2. Not eating properly

Not eating enough or leaving long gaps between meals can cause your blood sugar levels to fluctuate which can make you feel anxious, confused and unsettled.

How to deal with it: Make sure you eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, and carry around a few snacks to keep your blood sugars level.

3. Your thyroid

Your thyroid gland regulates your metabolism but it can make you feel anxious if it produces too much thyroid. It can also cause palpitations, nervousness and restlessness.

How to deal with it: Consult with your GP if you are concerned your anxiety is caused by your thyroid gland.

4. Alcohol

Alcohol is a depressant and can make you feel worse, especially if you’ve had a bad day. It can also interfere with your sleep patterns leaving you tired and low, creating a vicious cycle that can be hard to break.

How to deal with it: Skip the alcohol in the evenings and cut back when you are out with family and friends. Not only will you feel better but you’ll look a lot healthier too.
