Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the new Star Wars movie that everyone has been waiting on and it's only a few weeks until its debut. Yay!

And you rarely come across someone that hasn't seen at least one film in the sci-fi franchise… or so we thought.

Jimmy Kimmel claimed that most people know Star Wars better than actual wars, so he put pedestrians to the test in his latest instalment of Lie Witness News

Her lips used to be, well, so natural.

Yes – let's for a moment think back to 2010 Lauren Goodger. Fresh-faced (in an Essex kinda way) and on the arm of one Mark Wright, the reality TV star found her fame and fortune on Towie

But how times have changed. Along with losing a significant amount of weight throughout 2015, Ms Goodger this year has furthermore embraced a brand new habit: that of pouting for a series of endless selfies.

And while there's no denying that the loved-up 29-year-old looks fantastic, her latest offering (after rocking THOSE eyebrows at the gym) has proven to be been the final straw for some of her weary fans.

Many urged her to stay away from fillers – saying she looked ridiculous. "You are a natural beauty without the lips. You have a beautiful natural smile.xxx" offered one observer in response to yesterday evening's Instagram post.

Others were more direct, however: "No way?! Surely she's hasn't done that to her face?!!! Lauren have a chat with Lesley Ash. #trout."

A third commentator remarked: "She's ruined with that s*** in her lips. She will look back on these pics one day and cringe – so pretty without those awful lips."

Still, in honour of what can only be described as a killer pout, SHEmazing! brings you Lauren Goodger's top six duckface selfies. Enjoy!

The last time Vanessa Hudgens was in a musical set in high school – creatively called High School Musical – she was the Sandy of the group.

But now the brunette beauty has turned over a new leaf to play the cool gal of the pack.

Vanessa has scored the role of Rizzo for Fox's Grease Live production. And she pulls off the sexy look VERY well.

And as always the girl has got the moves, as seen in the new teaser trailer:

We don't know about you, but we love Ms Hudgens playing the bad girl.

Having shortcuts on our computers is almost as handy as having shortcuts in real life.

But how handy would it be if we could make our own shortcuts? Well, now you can.

What you might not have known is that you can create shortcuts for most Windows programs that you might have installed. It's actually been built into Windows for a while now so if you're using Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10, you can activate this.

All you need to do is find the program you want to create a shortcut for and simply right-click it (this can be in program files or on the desktop icon itself) and then click on properties.

Next, click on the shortcut tab and you will see the shortcut key entry in the middle. Shortcut combinations always start with Ctrl + Alt so all you have to do now is choose the third key.

Once you have chosen your desired key, hit apply and you'll be able to open the program by hitting those buttons!

And if you want to reset it, press Shift, Ctrl + Alt and it will return to normal.

Easy peasy? We think so.

Jessie J has become the latest celeb to take down online bullies. She decided to take a stand by unfollowing Instagram fan accounts that were posting hurtful comments about other fans.

She took to the social media app and posted three different text posts that explained her reasons for unfollowing the accounts that were supposed to exist as fan account for her music.

The singer explained her zero tolerance bullying policy and discussed the wider impact that social media has when it comes to bullying.

"I have been seeing some real nasty behaviour when I show some of the fans I follow love or repost them,” she wrote in on post.

“I don't like drama or negativity and despise any type of bullying, and so I have decided to not follow any fans."

Her fans or “heartbeats” have apparently been directing some nasty comments at one other on Instagram and Jessie is keen to put a stop to it.

“If people unfollow me because of this I don’t care tbh because they weren’t following me for the right reasons.”

She then added in a third post that she and her fans should be using social media to better the world: "Anything we can do to action nicer behaviour and better understanding instead of being selfish and mean is what we should be doing."

While most of her fans seem to have welcomed the news, not all agree with her take on things:

One Instagram user wrote: “Being a fan is expensive these days lol and it takes real time out of these lives, especially those with loads of followers themselves.”

“I just think it's sad you couldn't let the haters hate and let those fans who really went hard for you know that you appreciate them.”

Jessie also told fans that she wants them to support her music, “not bitch at each other or pull each other down.”

The change in weather conditions means many things: big bowls of soup; seasonal woollies; nights in by the fire – oh, and the arrival of rodents into our homes.

Eeek!

Yes, 2015 very much appears to be the year of the RAT – with pest control experts reporting that they are being contacted more than 50 times a day by freaked-out folk.

Dubbed ‘king rats’ (we can’t imagine that’s a good thing) the creatures are said to be increasingly resistant to poisons and are cleverly avoiding traps.

Pest controller Trevor Hayden of Complete Pest Control told the Irish Mirror: "There is evidence rats are getting bigger and not being affected by poisons, because they’ve built up a resistance to them."

He added: "The problem is people who try to tackle the problem themselves could be making things worse, as the rats appear to be growing immune to some poisons and are increasing in size by feeding off them."

Rentokil Ireland has also reported a 34 per cent increase in call outs between September and November compared with the same period last year.

And the British Pest Control Association has already warned that rats across the UK are rapidly getting bigger and stronger.

Meanwhile, a horrifying super rat has been found and killed in New York. It is thought that it could be the largest recorded specimen in the world. Pictures of the scary 1.2metre-long rodent – the same size as a small dog – were doing the rounds on Facebook this week.

Earlier this year a giant, a 90cm-long rat was captured alive in Co Tipperary, although it was later discovered that it was an invasive South American swamp species – probably an escaped pet.

He was named Rodney by the nation's media, and was subsequently taken into care by the Kildare Animal Foundation.

She faced huge difficulties in trying to conceive, and has a full medical team on standby in case of an emergency during labour.

So it's no surprise that Kim Kardashian is doing everything possible to avoid any further complications while giving birth.

The reality star revealed last night that her baby son, who's due in late December, is currently in breech.

As a result, Kim is likely to have to have a C-section, but she's going to some fairly extreme lengths to avoid getting one.

"I've learned that you actually can deliver a breech baby and I feel fortunate that my doctor Paul Crane is one of the few doctors that still does this," Kim said of her unorthodox birthing plan.

"They just don't even teach it anymore. Paul was my mom's doctor and delivered me! So I know I'm in the best care."

While delivering her baby in breech is indeed on the cards, Kim is trying some oh so bizarre methods to get her little one to turn by himself before the birth, as she revealed last night on her official website.

"I have been doing everything I can to try to turn the baby. I lie practically upside down three times a day for 15 minutes.

"I play music in the right position and ice my belly in certain spots to get him to squirm out of the breech position.

"I even started acupuncture where I burn moxa [mugwort] on my pinky toe every day!"

Of course, if those don't work, Kim may be able to rely on her own mental powers, as she's revealed she's also turned to "hypnosis" to help her along.

Despite her determination to avoid a C-section, Kim says she'd never go so far as to put her new baby's health at risk.

"Obviously, if it's an emergency and for the safety of my son, I will get a C-section – but if I don't need one, I'd rather not," she explained.

Jesy Nelson has announced that she is going to be pulling out of the Little Mix tour and leaving her bandmates to continue to Japan without her.

She has told fans that she has a “horrid” ear infection which has forced her to pull out of the next leg of the tour. She has not yet confirmed if she will be joining the group again after their time in Japan.

The rest of band seem pretty excited about their next adventure as they took to Twitter and wrote:

"Gutted our beautiful Jesminda wont be in Japan with us BUT we wouldn't miss this trip for the world! So excited! x."

Just recently, Jesy was spotted leaving a launch party for the band’s latest album in floods of tears. Apparently she and fiancée Jake Roche had a massive row that left Jesy visibly upset.

The group had gathered with friends and fellow celebs at Kensington's Bodo's Schloss nightclub to celebrate their new album. According to a source, Jesy and Jake had a "tispy" argument mid-way into the evening.

She addressed the photos in a recent interview and said “everyone gets drunk and gets emotional.”

Perrie Edwards added that she herself has been known to get a bit teary after a few drinks. She said she had a “moment” when the band were celebrating the success of Get Weird.

"It's relatable. Everyone cries when they get drunk," she told The Sun. "We all need a cuddle,” she added.

“I love it when we stick our heads together as a four. We were in the middle of a nightclub and having a moment."

A priest at the church in New York city in which a baby was found swaddled and in a manger has described the incident as a "Christmas miracle."

A maintenance worker at the church was leaving for his lunch break when he heard the cries of the infant coming from the alter.

Little did he know, a new-born baby had been left at a nativity scene in the church which had only been erected a few hours beforehand.

"I followed the cries. I walked to the little nativity home we had installed inside the church… I couldn’t believe my eyes," says Jose Moran, the church worker.

"The baby was wrapped in towels. He still had his umbilical cord attached and was next to the Virgin Mary."

Police have CCTV footage of a women entering the church with a child and leaving empty handed. According to New York law, a person can leave a child at a safe haven such as a church or hospital without facing prosecution once they notify the appropriate person.

As no one was notified of the newborn's presence, the police have stated that the mother of the child could face criminal charges if found.

“God works in mysterious ways,” said a local priest to the Daily News. “[The child’s mother] must have been in a difficult place in her life.”

According to the priest, a young couple have already offered to adopt the child who has been nicknamed the 'baby Jesus'.

Ruairi McSorley became an internet sensation after he was interviewed in January during a particularly cold morning in his native Derry.

His line: “You wouldn’t be long getting frostbit” was repeated up and down the country (and further afield) for months after his TV appearance. Now, he is back and better than ever.

It seems that Ruairi has relocated to Connemara to study media and Irish. To nobody’s surprise, he had been told many times that a career in media would be in his future.

Naturally, he’s decided to make a go of it, and with his latest interview as Gaeilge we foresee a bright future.

As for the local scene in Co. Galway; the “sean-nos” dancing is not exactly his favourite way to spend a Saturday night.

However, he does say “is maith liom an jiving”. Please, someone consider an entire series of videos of Ruair’s jiving adventures. It is the reality series we desperately need.

Does he have any plans if a career in media doesn’t work out?

“There’ll be turf to cut somewhere.”

We are not gonna lie. We love a bit of Strictly Come Dancing

From the sparkly outfits to our favourite dances (which is the jive obvs), we literally love it all. We even love Craig's resting bitch face.

But behind all the glitz and glamour, Strictly has faced quite a barrage of controversy this year which is quite surprising considering the squeaky clean front put on by the beloved BB1 show.

So is Strictly as innocent as it makes out? Or has it fallen into the over produced traps of so many hit talent shows in the past? (we're looking at you, X Factor). Let's investigate.

1) Ola Jordan's recent claims

Given that the judges scores are added to the publics vote, that score is pretty influential in terms of deciding which contestants stay in the competition.

One of the shows long standing professional dancers, Ola Jordan, recently made quite a number of surprising claims about the nature of the show and how the judges score.

"Some of the marking is way off. People are over-marked and under-marked. All the pros talk about the marking. We ask each other, 'What is all that about? Why are they trying to over-mark that person?' "

It would seem that the comments did not go down very well, as Ola announced her retirement from the show a week later. Yikes!

2) Bias towards certain contestants

Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo slammed the BBC after he was voted out in the second week of the competition.

Anthony claimed that he knew he would not get very far in the competition because he was not a "BBC face" like fellow contestant and journalist, Jeremy Vine.

Ola Jordan's husband and former strictly dancer, James Jordan also claimed that the show tended to give bias in favour of certain contestants when his wife was voted out in week one.

In a tweet, James said: "I love Peter [Andre] but I wonder if he will open or close every show? Fairness."

Do these guys have a point or are they simply sore losers?

3) Outspoken Jamelia has a go

Jamelia is renowned for being honest and outspoken and she certainly did not disappoint when she left the competition this week after a dance off with Peter Andre.

On the Strictly spin off show It Takes Two, Jamelia claimed she knew she was going home when the producers reportedly RE-RECORDED the end Peter Andre's dance so that it would appear the crowd gave him a standing ovation.

Despite the dance receiving negative feedback from the judges, Peter was then indeed saved. Watch the awkward moment here.

While we don't want to believe that anything untoward is happening on our favourite show, all the controversy probably only makes us want to watch it even more.

Some of us love Christmas, and some of us… not so much. But one thing that everyone can agree on is that it's a pricey time of year.

And according to a survey commissioned by the Credit Union, the average Irish adult will spend almost €600 in the run up to Christmas this year.

The annual spending survey shows that the average shopper in Ireland can expect to spend €563 this festive season, which is actually lower than the figure produced last year.

“We all need to remember that Christmas really is about giving, not robbing the family finances,” says Ed Farrell of the Credit Union.

A huge number of us are planning to shop online this year (67 percent), with most people saying that value can be found online and 26 per cent of shoppers said it's more convenient to shop online than trek around town.

But many of us (70 per cent) feel worse about our financial situation than we did last year. So, do you think you'll spend that much this year?
