If there's one celebrity who knows how to surround herself with strong women, it's Taylor Swift.

With a band of friends that already includes Lena Dunham, Lorde, Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, Kendall Jenner and more, over the weekend Tay added another fierce member to her squad.

After a sellout concert to 65,000 in London's Hyde Park, the singer was pictured looking cosy with none other than actress and gender equality activist Emma Watson. UK musician Lauren Aquilina shared a group photo via Twitter showing herself, Karlie Kloss, Martha Hunt and of course Taylor, with her arm around a VERY happy Emma:

"Spent tonight surrounded by badass girls and couldn't be happier about it," Lauren captured the photo. Within minutes Twitter exploded with fans trying to get their head around what has to be the ultimate cool-girl pairing:

While Emma seemed content to enjoy Taylor's show from the stands, the Blank Space singer couldn't resist getting some of her other pals to join her during the concert.

Models Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid and tennis star Serena Williams took to the stage along with Kendall, Martha and Karlie during Taylor's performance of Style:

Before flying across to Dublin this morning (!!), Taylor enjoyed a spot of sightseeing yesterday with yet another gang of celebrity friends. "Little known fact: Karlie is secretly an unofficial historian/London tour guide. Kind of," wrote the singer, sharing a photo of herself, her new mam Calvin Harris, Joe Jonas and Karlie posing in front of London's Tower Bridge.

Wonder if she's looking for an unofficial tour guide in Dublin, too…

The U.S skateboarding legend Tony Hawk married his fiancée Cathy Goodman at Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort yesterday.

 

The 47-year old sports star donned a black suit and his bride opted for a more non-traditional black lace gown.

The floor length lace dress was accompanied by a gold head piece and a bouquet of red roses.

Tony took to Instagram to announce the celebration, posting an image with the caption “Tying the Celtic knot with my best friend.”

This is Tony’s fourth marriage and he and Cathy started dating a year after she had divorced from Tony’s close friend Matt Goodman.

 

Speaking with Radar Online, Matt said that while he recognises people would see the pairing as unusual given the circumstances, he’s fine with everything.

"I know people will think it is strange but I'm totally cool with it.”

Cathy and Tony started dating in 2011 after he had then supposedly left his third wife Lhotse Meeriam to be with Cathy, who had been married to Matt.

Tony has six children from his three previous marriages all of whom were there with the pair to celebrate their nuptials.

The younger Hawks enjoyed taking in some traditional activities that the luxurious resort has to offer, one of which includes hawking. How fitting.

In traditional professional skateboarding style, the whole family took a trip to nearby skating venue Raw Cycles to show off their skills.

The family are also spending some time visiting more Irish sights, Tony has recently kept his Instagram account updated with the gang's trip to the Cliffs of Moher.

If you did manage to get yourself a pair of Kanye’s Yeezy boost 350s, then this would be the time so show them off. They would also make for a great conversation piece. Just because Kanye. Rihanna has had some absolutely perfect Snapchat stories. She’s possibly one of our favourite celebrity social media users.

Rihanna does whatever she wants and she really doesn’t care what the haters say. Whether it’s the media attention that surround her love life, or her fashion choices, Riri does Riri and that’s how she likes it.

So you can imagine our delight when we opened her latest Snapchat story and were not only greeted with the Umbrella singer herself, but the latest addition to her family.

We were only mildly disappointed that it wasn’t rumoured beau Karim Benzema. Instead, we got Pepe.

Last night Rihanna hit the club with some of her besties and came home with Pepe. Who looks to be some sort of Pomeranian pup. He’s a tiny ball of fluff.

Where do you even buy a puppy at 5 o’clock in the morning? Only Rihanna has the answer.

We’ve all seen people go out to the club and come home with some random item in our handbag at some point. To be fair it’s generally a surprise lipstick, or napkins.

Rihanna goes out and brings home a dog. That has to be one for the books.

Pepe is absolutely adorable and we hope that Rihanna keeps the little guy around because he’s already the best thing that has happened to her Snap chat since the time she went fishing in Hawaii.

Just as you’re feeling totally prepared for our oncoming heatwave, you remember that while cooling down with your favourite frozen treat sounds delightful; you’re trying to ditch the sugar.

It’s a tough challenge, especially when the weather is beautiful and everyone is sitting outside digging into some long awaited ice-cream cones.

Don’t worry though, there’s a number of just as delicious frozen alternatives that will satisfy your cravings and help you stick to some healthy habits too.

Ok, so we hadn’t heard much about this one either, but after a little digging we discovered this vegan-friendly option is perfect for those hot days when you just need to treat yourself. It can be a little harder to find in supermarkets but if you’ve got some free time, we found an excellent tutorial for those feeling adventurous.

Taylor Swift is just a really good person.

She doesn’t just treat fans to impressive social media shout-outs, or donate serious cash to charities, she also likes to give away free tickets to her concert.

Someone going to her Dublin gig tonight just got the best present ever.

Stephanie is from South Africa. She was supposed to be at Hyde Park yesterday to see Taylor and her ultimate girl squad perform. However, disaster struck and her flight was delayed from Amsterdam.

She tweeted about her disappointment, naturally.

Not all hope was lost though, as Taylor, who has admitted to trolling her fans social media activities, saw the tweet. She responded as any good performer would.

So then, all Stephanie had to do was get herself to Dublin. Which is easier said than done. But, have no fear, because as we know anything that involves T Swifty immediately turns to gold.

Stephanie managed to convince British Airways to change her flight, with the help of some fake tears, and now she’s Dublin bound.

Taylor’s history of thanking her fans with big gestures does include actual Irish fans too though.

Suzie Dickinson from Meath was given the chance to meet the popstar in person when Taylor saw her attempts to make it to as many of her European tour dates as possible.

Talking to the Mirror Suzie said “Basically I put a picture of a map on Tumblr which showed my route for going to Taylor’s concerts. Taylor follows me on Tumblr so I was hoping that she’d see it.”

Taylor did in fact see it, and was invited to a very special meet and greet at her concert in Glasgow. Suzie said Taylor was dying to get a photo with her and the two chatted about the most important of things;

“We just talked about cats and Dublin and she wanted to get a photo with me.”

This is why Taylor is one of our favourite celebrities.

Irish chef Donal Skehan and his Swedish love Sofie married yesterday in an intimate Irish ceremony.

Friends and family joined the happy couple at City Hall in Dublin for the ceremony and then to the reception at Lisnavagh House, Co. Carlow.

Donal’s best friend Jonathon joined him at the alter as his best man, both apparently wearing Ted Baker suits. Over 30 of Sofie’s relatives from Sweden travelled to join the couple on their big day, as well as Donal’s parents Dermot and Liz.

Max, the couple’s border collie/jack russel cross, who’s a bit of a big deal on social media apparently, was also at the alter with his loved up owners.

Earlier this week Donal said that Max had been planning his outfit for the big day, he explained that “Max has a new little collar and is coming to the afters.”

Donal and Sofie have been together since 2006. Sofie was visiting Ireland and the pair met when she took a trip to Donal’s native Howth.

When he spoke to the RTÉ Guide earlier this year, Donal admitted he would not be taking charge of the food at his wedding.

He said “I won’t be going near the food for my wedding – we have very good friends who have a restaurant in Drogheda called the Eastern Seaboard and they’re going to be looking after it for us.”

We think he deserved a stress-free day considering he’s been filming in Europe up until quite recently.

Some guests at the wedding have shared their happy snaps of the beautiful pair and Sofie, who chose a simple white gown for her big day looks absolutely fabulous.

In today’s feel-good news story: Bubbles the Dachsund.

Bubbles was born in July 2014 with only two legs.

Her owner Trevor Byers, from Texas, noticed when she was still a tiny pup that she had been born without her front paws.

Trevor was worried that little Bubbles wouldn’t have the best quality of life growing up. It turned out that Bubble was as happy as could be if she had a wheelchair to help her maneuver about her business.

With the help of a 3D printer, Trevor was able to come up with a design that would allow for Bubbles to live her best life.

“Many many more failed attempts later, I have come up with a design that is perfect for my Bubbles,” Trevor, who is a mechanic, explains.

Bubbles one-of-a-kind wheels are made especially light-weight so she can scoot around as much as she likes without putting too much pressure on her back. She’s even got a customised pair.

Trevor and Elissa, Bubble’s owners, are now on a mission to ensure that any other dogs like Bubbles can lead a happy life as they’ve decided to make and donate 3D-printed wheels for dogs.

Bubbles has a Facebook page, and Trevor has even supplied instructions for people who have their own 3D printers and want to help struggling dogs live their best life.

We’re having a hard time controlling our feelings. She's just so happy.

Oh the Kardashian-Jenner-West-Disick clan, we can barely keep up with them all. If someone’s not getting married, they’re headlining Glastonbury. If they’re not having a baby, then they’re getting into some risky business outside a night club.

And when they’re not taking selfies… Well, we don’t know actually know what happens then.

 

One thing we do know, when they post a selfie online, people go crazy.

Case in point, Kendall Jenner just smashed her big sister Kim’s record for ‘most liked’ photo on her Instagram page.

The 19-year old posted the photo a month ago and it has since gathered 2.5 million likes. Compared to Kim and Kanye’s wedding photograph which only had a measly 2.4 million.

 

Nothing like a little sibling rivalry, eh?

It’s not just Instagram that Kendall is gathered more and more fame. Most recently the reality TV star turned supermodel was hanging out with legend Naomi Campbell.

Both models walked the runway for Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci at his Paris show. Kendall hit the runway in a pale ink lingerie-inspired gown with a skirt consisting of tassels, and not a whole lot else.

Naomi turned heads so hard the people in the FRO got whiplash when she slipped into a tiny G-string bikini and blazer.

Proud mama Kris Jenner and beau Corey Gamble were spotted at the show, along with Courtney Love.

It’s not all work and no play for Kenny J though. She managed to get herself to not one but two of the biggest music events happening last night.

If you’ve been a fan of millionaire heiress Paris Hilton since the good ole days The Simple Life, or even if you’re just addicted to her Instagram feed (no judgement here), then you know she likes her luxuries.

She really, really loves to travel in the most glamorous fashions. She generally hops aboard private jets to all manner of exotic locales. We’re talking luxury resorts in Dubai.

However, in her most recent jet-setting adventure, the reality TV star was set up for a terrifying prank. She hopped aboard a small plane for what she thought was going to be an aerial tour of Dubai.

She was wrong. Mid-flight the Hilton hotel heiress is tricked into thinking her plane is about to go crashing to the ground.

The clip, which is available on YouTube, although many have been removed, is from a show called “Ramez in Control”. It’s an Egyptian television show that regularly pulls pranks on unsuspecting members of the public.

The 34-year old Paris was petrified when after a few minutes in the air, an alarm started ringing followed, by a side door opening and a man being thrown from the plane.

There’s a lot of shouting and crying as the passengers are (naturally) horrified at being told they have to jump from the plane before it hits the ground.

Paris was not amused when the plane makes a safe landing on the runway. We feel like someone may be in a spot of trouble after this stunt.

Paris took to twitter to address the prank after the video was released online. You can watch her terrifying experience below. Whatever feelings you had about Paris before, we think everyone agrees this was a horrible prank to play. The worst.

You can now sing to your heart’s content every single time you hop in the car without any embarrassment whatsoever.

Can we all admit that there’s a tiny part of us that rejoices when Let It Go comes through the speakers? Or that feeling when Bohemian Rhapsody hits your ears and you just go for it.

Who cares if people can see you? This is your jam and you are going to hit every single note on Adele’s album if you feel like it.

Not only is singing in the car incredibly fun, but now research is showing that singing at the top of your lungs while stuck in traffic has some great health benefits too.

A study from the Swedish University of Gothenburg has shown that people who sing together in the car can become so in sync, not only are their harmonies on point, their heartbeats can become synchronised too.

This is probably going to explain why those ridiculous road trips with friends are always a hundred times better when someone plays DJ.

Forget all the deep breathing and silent harmony searching on your yoga mat. Singing has been proven to require a deep concentration on breathing, which works the muscle groups in the upper body so it’s good for lung and heart health.

Bjorn Vickhoff, who initiated the study (thank you Bjorn), has said that:

“It gives you pretty much the same effect as yoga breathing. It helps you relax, and there are indications that it does provide a heart benefit.”

Singing also lowers your levels of cortisol, which is associated with stress and helping to improve your immune system. Singing is also just fun. So, win-win.

Improving your mood and unleashing your best Beyoncé impression at the same time is now an official way of beating the stress that is rush hour on the M50.

Now, would anybody like to take a quick drive to the beach?
