President Obama has referred to Caitlyn Jenner in a speech that was recorded for Logo’s Trailblazer Honors in New York City.

Logo is a television network that celebrates one-of-a-kind personalities and unconventional stories. Their aim is to achieve this “all through a mix of original and acquired entertainment that’s outrageous, smart, and inclusive.”

The Trailblazer Honors ceremony is to honour LGBT people around the world and the victims of those who have suffered from homophobic abuse.  The ceremony, which airs tomorrow, will also host celebrity speakers including Miley Cyrus, Kelly Osbourne, Sir Ian McKellan, Martin Luther King III, and more.

In his speech President Obama said that “tonight is a chance to celebrate, not just ten years of Logo, but ten years of extraordinary progress for our country.

“When this network aired its first show, gay marriage was a political wedge issue used to divide us. Today the majority of Americans live in states where they can get married, no matter who they love.

“And all you have to do is look at this month’s cover of Vanity Fair to see how America is more accepting of people for who they truly are,” he said referring to Ms Jenner's recent issue of the magazine. 

Since Caitlyn’s transition, she has become an icon for transgender people around the world. With all eyes on her, she has become the most famous person to openly undergo the gender transition process in the public eye.

It may seem hard to believe, but there was indeed a time when KUWTK was all about Kim, Khloe and Kourtney and their two little sisters were simply there to cause childhood mayhem.

Little did we know that little Kendall and Kylie would soon turn into a global supermodel and the big-lipped queen of social media.

One Twitter user was reminiscing over this simpler time and posted a video of the girls back in the day. There is lots of kicking, screaming, tantrums and of course, ordering “cocktails on the rocks”… strong ones.

Kendall obviously found the clip just as hilarious as the rest of us did as she soon retweeted it to the world.

Dustin Diamond, the actor who played Screech on Saved by the Bell, has been sentenced to four months in jail for stabbing a man during a bar fight.

The 38-year-old was found guilty and convicted of two misdemeanour charges connected with the fight that took place on Christmas Day in a pub in Wisconsin.

A jury convicted the former child star of carrying a concealed weapon and behaving in a disorderly manner.

The fight began when Dustin and his fiancée, Amanda Schutz, were in the bar and a group of allegedly drunk people started verbally harassing them.

According to reports, the actor who played Samuel ‘Screech’ Powers turned to pay his bill, and when he turned back around his fiancée was bleeding and two men were holding her hair.

The report said that “Diamond stated that he did not intentionally stab the individual in the bar but that chaos broke out and people were grabbing at him and that he swung his arms to break free.”

The victim of the stabbing was not seriously injured.

Dustin played Screech on the Saved by the Bell from 1989 to 1993, and the subsequent spinoffs that followed.

What do you do if you're the girl who has everything? Start giving some of it away, of course.

Singer Rita Ora has had an incredible year, from her first cinematic role in Fifty Shades of Grey, her work on The Voice and The X Factor, and of course her BRIT and Billboard Award nominations.

She's definitely not one to take things for granted though, and admitted in an interview this week that she's given back some good karma into the world lately. How? By turning over the keys of her €1.8m London pad to her parents, Vera and Besnik.

Rita initially bought the lavish six-bedroom home for herself shortly before Christmas, but felt her mum and dad would get more use out of it.  "I think I've ended up giving the house to my parents, actually," she told Free Radio. "They need it more than me. I'm never really in one place." 

While Rita is now technically homeless, she didn't seem too put out, saying, "I'm back to square one but at least my parents have a place." World's Best Daughter? Absolutely.

Earlier this year it was reported that the singer had moved her boyfriend Ricky Hil into the house with her, but with rumours last month that the pair had parted ways it seems Rita's not so keen to live there any more.

As well as all those bedroom, the London mini-mansion also has three reception rooms, a garden and access to nearby tennis courts, according to The Sun. So we're sure Vera and Besnik will find somewhere to house Rita when she's home:

It's been almost a month since Caitlyn Jenner officially revealed herself to the world with a cover spread in Vanity Fair magazine.

While the reality star's children have all spoken out numerous times in support of Caitlyn, both before and after her reveal, one person who had kept quiet on the subject was Kris Jenner.

Now though, she has opened up about her thoughts on Caitlyn's first official shoot, and says she thinks the images are "beautiful."

Speaking from the Daily Mail yacht in Cannes, which she visited along with her boyfriend Corey Gamble and children Kim and Kylie, Kris seemed positive about what was to come.

"I think it's amazing," she said of her ex's decision. "I think that someone following their dream is truly inspirational to a lot of people…. you have to do what makes you happy."

It looks like the Kardashian momager has decided to forget her grudges for now, after a rocky couple of years. Kris' marriage to Caitlyn (then Bruce) broke up in 2013 after 22 years, and though Kris' has revealed she was aware that Bruce was considering transitioning to life as a woman back in the Eighties, she believed it was something he had moved on from.

Speaking as part of Caitlyn's Vanity Fair feature, Kris seemed angry and disappointed. "He was married to me and he wasn’t who he wanted to be so he was miserable," Kris told writer Buzz Bissinger.

"Why would you want to be married and have kids if this is what you wanted since you were a little boy?" she asked. "Why would you not explain this all to me?"

At the time, Kris also referred to her marriage breakdown as "the most passive-aggressive thing that has ever happened."

Perhaps Kris' new positive attitude is following on from Caitlyn's lead in this tweet, posted almost two weeks after the Vanity Fair article:

Could this be a new start for the pair? We hope so.

So this big beautiful million dollar house looks like the ‘dream home,’ right? Wrong.

Have you ever been in a situation where you’re like “yep pretty sure this is the start of a horror movie”? Well, one family are literally living that feeling right now. 

The Broaddus family, who have three young children, came face-to-face with their worst nightmare recently when they moved into a new house… that came quipped with a full blown stalker.

This €1.2 million house was purchased by the family in New Jersey earlier this year. It looks perfectly normal on first glance, so in fairness to them, how were they to know the horror that would unfold as soon as they moved in?

Within the first week of their new life, mysterious letters began arriving in the door for the family from someone called ‘The Watcher.’ Okay… we won’t sleep for a week now.

Here's an example of one of the letters:

"[The house] has been the subject of my family for decades. I have been put in charge of watching and waiting for its second coming. My grandfather watched in the 1920s and my father watched it in the 1960s. It is now my time."

Yes, that’s a bit creepy, but if it's not quite creepy enough for you, then read on…

"Do you need to fill the house with the young blood I requested? Have you found all the secrets it holds? Will the young bloods play in the basement? Who has the bedrooms facing the street? I will know as soon as you move in."

"Have they found what is in the walls yet? In time they will."

We literally can’t deal. The family got straight out of there and the police are currently trying to track down the letter-writer, but to no avail yet.

The runners are a collaboration between Kanye West and Adidas and go on sale this Saturday the 27th of June, but people so desperate to get their hands on a pair have began queuing in the UK already.

One man in the queue two days ahead of their sale, told the Mirror that Kanye's influence was a huge factor.

"There is so much hype around them, linked to Kanye West, and just to wear them would be amazing. They should cost about €220 but they are priceless – they sell out immediately and there are queues all over the world," he explained. It is expected that the queue will continue to grow over the next two days before shop gets their delivery on Saturday morning. 

And it's no coincidence that Kim, Kylie and co have been sharing snaps of their chosen footwear on social media all week, as they enjoyed a few star-studded days in Cannes.

Just yesterday it was reported that Bobbi Kristina Brown had been moved to hospice care after being taken off life support machines.

Her aunt Pat Houston made a statement which said; "As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now.”

This was the first official statement made by the family about Bobbi’s condition despite countless rumours circulating about the young woman’s condition.

Since she was found face down in a bath tub at her home in Atlanta, Georgia at the end of January, there has been much discussion as to her boyfriend Nick Gordon’s involvement in her accident.

Reports are now saying that on Wednesday, conservator’s of Bobbi’s estate filed a lawsuit against Nick. According to the conservator Nick secretly stole from Bobbi’s inheritance and had physically abused her.

The accusations claim that Nick transferred funds regularly from Bobbi’s account to his own. Including a transfer of almost €10,000 after she had fallen into a coma.

The lawsuit was filed by Bedelia Hargrove who was appointed conservator of Bobbi Kristina’s financial affairs by the court. There are claims saying that Bobbi had intended to go to police to report Nick’s abuse, but she never made it to the appointment.

Instead she was found face down in her bath tub with a swollen mouth and a missing tooth. This is apparently not the first time Bobbi suffered abuse at the hands of Nick, she had previously been punched in the face and dragged around by her hair.

It is alleged that on the day of Bobbi’s accident she and Nick had gotten into a loud argument.

While the lawsuit doesn’t necessarily blame Nick for the injuries which placed Bobbi in a coma, according to TMZ the documents strongly hint at it, and police have previously been investigating Nick prior to this lawsuit being filed.

Nick was raised by Bobbi’s mother, Whitney Houston as an informal son, and following the singer’s death he and Bobbi referred to each other as husband and wife. The pair however never legally married.

Not too long ago we couldn’t help but be surprised at Lady Gaga’s unusually demure outfit choice.

Those style choices obviously didn’t last too long though as the Born This Way singer stepped out in New York City on Tuesday night wearing a tan coat, some denim cut offs and a pizza box. Pretty much.

The 29-year old pop star started her evening in a more clothed fashion while performing with her musical BFF Tony Bennett at Radio City Music Hall. After which she headed to the Rainbow Room for a more intimate show with some of her most loyal fans.

Wearing her coat, shorts and lacy white bra, she rocked her little monster fans worlds before posing for photos with them.

Hopping into her sleek black town car the Monster singer took off for a trip around Manhattan. Not one to leave the hungry photographers without a good shot, Gaga used the car’s sunroof to get in some sight-seeing. Still wearing the lacy lingerie.

Next thing we know, Gaga’s hopping out of her car to grab herself some Famous Amadeus Pizza in midtown Manhattan, strutting around sans bra.

All was still going fine and normal, normal for Lady Gaga mind you, until she left with her coveted pizza slices.

Not wanting to sacrifice her glorious carbs. Gaga gripped her pizza box tightly and covered her face. Letting all of the waiting paparazzi get their shots of the singer and her late night feast with bonus nipple sightings.

Seems like a pretty hectic night on the town for the singer, and we’re not that surprised she was willing to make some sacrifices in the name of her snacks.

Not that Lady Gaga is one to be afraid of showing off what she's got. On her recent trip to the Bahamas the star was flaunting all her best assets on Twitter while she soaked up the sun.

According to the Health Products Regulatory Authority in May a man in his mid-20s died after taking fat burning pills that contained a highly toxic substance which has been marketed as a “wonder slimming aid”.

Warnings have previously been made by the authority that consuming the diet pills which contained Dinitrophenol (DNP) are suspected to have led to the young man’s death.

Pat O’Mahony, Chief Executive of the HPRA has said that he strongly urges members of the public "to never use the internet to source slimming products or any prescription medicines at any time.”

DNP is a chemical which is popularly used by bodybuilders in order to lose fat fast in the run up to competitions. It accelerates your metabolism to dangerous levels and can have serious short and long term effects: including cataracts from long-term use.

While this is the first time in Ireland there has been a reported death as a result of taking DNP, it is linked to over 60 death around the world.

This year the HPRA have seized almost 100 diet pills containing DNP and are advising people not to buy slimming products online.

Interpol, the international police agency, put out an alert in almost 200 countries to warn them about the dangers of DNP, which has even been found in explosives.

DNP was previously linked to the death of a young woman in the UK who bought diet pills online in an effort to lose weight.

Eloise Parry died of heart in April of this year failure following an overdose of diet pills she bought online.

Following her death warning have come from the HPRA about websites claiming they are selling products to help people who want to shed some weight.

“Bogus websites can be very sophisticated and appear to be legitimate,” says Pat O’Mahony, and urges people to be wary when buying online.
