Have you ever wondered who voices your favourite animated characters?

Well, we certainly have, so we decided to do some research on the matter!

Some of these really surprised us!

1. Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear

The star of the Santa Claus is also the voice behind our favourite space ranger!

2. Russell Brand as Doctor Nefario

It is hard to believe, but Russell Brand was the genius behind Dr. Nefario from Despicable Me!

3. Mila Kunis as Meg Griffin

Family Guy's awkward daughter is voiced by the beautiful Mila Kunis.

4. Rowan Atkinson as Zazu

That's right ladies… Mr Bean voiced Zazu frMINm The Lion King! MIND BLOWN!

5. Danny Devito as Phil

Is it just me or do these two kind of look similar…?

6. Matthew Broderick as Simba

WHO KNEW?

7. Eddie Murphy as Mushu

Our favourite sassy dragon from Mulan was voiced by Eddie Murphy!

8. Hank Azaria as Moe Syslack

We all remember him as Phoebe Buffay's ex-boyfriend, but Hank has been the voice behind Springfield's bar tender since 1989.

9. Rosie O'Donnell as Terk

Tarzan's best pal was voiced by the hugely talented Rosie!

10. Demi Moore as Esmerelda

We had NO idea that Demi was the voice of this character from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Attention all 90s kids! Our TV dreams may just come true

The minute you arrived home from school, homework would have to wait because it was time for you to settle yourself in front of the TV to watch all that Nickelodeon had to offer.

Hey! Arnold, The Rugrats and Catdog were among the favourite shows that filled our blissfully-free afternoons.

Well, if you were a fan of these shows, we have BIG news.

A new Nickelodeon campaign has been flooding social media recently, and it’s hinting towards a new channel dedicated only to 90’s Nick TV shows.

Yes, we’re jumping for joy too.

The Splat is the rumoured name of the new channel as it has been popping up all over Instagram and Twitter lately.

A video was posted on YouTube last week, featuring a montage of all the Nick cartoons, promising The Splat is will be here soon.

This was then accompanied by a website, as well as the array of social media accounts.

While nothing has been confirmed, it’s enough to send the Internet and Nick fans into a complete frenzie.

Laura Jenkinson, a make-up artist based in London, has created the face of cartoon characters using her mouth and chin as her canvas. She paints a variety of our favourite animated creatures around her lips and the results have blown our minds today.

From The Rugrats to Frozen, Laura has covered all of our favourite animated movies and TV shows.
