haunted house

A new report from thortful.com has revealed the areas of Ireland where you’re most likely to experience an alien encounter based on data from the National UFO Reporting Centre.

Alien life has been found and contact has been made with planet Earth… or so it would appear.

The night sky consists of 10 billion galaxies, or to be more precise, 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars and according to a new report by thortful.com aliens live amongst these stars and constellations and even make regular visits to planet Earth.

Aliens, however, appear to be picky about their tourist/holiday destinations only appearing in the skies above certain cities.

To celebrate Halloween on October 31 thortful analysed data from the National UFO Reporting Centre, revealing the UFO hotspots of the Ireland. Data was analysed from the years 1998 – 2019.

The most haunted locations

Looking for a new job?

If you're in the childcare profession and don't mind moving to Scotland, then this role is ideal for you.

Parents in Scotland have listed a job on this child care site, asking to find a new nanny for their two children.

The kids are aged five and seven, and their parents are willing to pay £50k a year to the lucky person who scoops up the job.

boy, children, cute

As well as the impressive salary, you will also have a separate living quarter, free meals and 28 days of paid annual leave.

The ad for the job reads: "Duties would include preparing breakfast, getting the children ready for school, dropping off and picking up from school and assisting after school, including helping with homework and getting them ready for bed."

Sounds a bit too good to be true, right? Well, that's because there's a pretty terrifying catch.

Apparently, the house is haunted.

If that hasn't got you running a mile, the family have admitted that their past five nannies quit because they couldn't deal with all of the supernatural activity.

The parents say that they knew the house was haunted when they first bought it, but haven't witnessed anything scary first-hand.

Their previous child minders have said that they've seen furniture moving on its own, glass breaking on its own, as well as hearing strange noises in and around the house.

Since the parents have had to deal with five nannies quitting, they said that they want to be up front about the issues with any potential employees.

Now we know why it pays so well…

If you like a good scare, then this could be right up your street, but we'd be running away screaming if we were Ariana Grande.

The singer is gearing up for Halloween and while on Ellen this week, the presenter revealed that she's sending Ariana to a haunted house with the show's executive producer.

Haunted houses can be fun, yes, but this one is twenty minutes long, which is about 15 minutes over our scare-o-meter.

Ariana seemed grand with it at first, but then found out just how long it is and tweeted, "WAIT ITS 20 MINUTES LONG??"

Ellen later replied to her with, "I was mistaken! It's 22 minutes."

We'd be long gone! Good luck, Ari.

Police in Paris are investigating the death of a Disneyland Paris worker, who was found dead in the park's Haunted House attraction.

Le Parisien claim that the man is thought to have been electrocuted inside the Phantom Manor on Saturday morning.

The 45-year-old was apparently finishing some maintenance work behind the scenes at the time.

A Disneyland union rep said was employee "always had a smile on his face."

The park has stayed open following the death, but the Phantom Manor attraction is expected to remain closed until today while police carry out their investigation.

We don't know about you, but it's just too creepy for us.

Yesterday Ashy Murphy uploaded a home video to Facebook and since then it has been viewed over 8 million times.

No, unfortunately it was not one of those adorably cute videos of puppies running or toddlers dancing to Bruno Mars. Instead Ashy took a video while she was at her aunt’s house in Blackrock, Cork of some very strange activity happening.

The video has been shared almost 200,000 times on Facebook since it was uploaded and it is not the only one that Ashy has shared. While similar things happen in both videos, there are both still equally freaky.

The internet feels a bit suspicious of Ashy’s poltergeist claims, but that does not make it any less creepy.

Its getting way worse I defo have to move house

So this big beautiful million dollar house looks like the ‘dream home,’ right? Wrong.

Have you ever been in a situation where you’re like “yep pretty sure this is the start of a horror movie”? Well, one family are literally living that feeling right now.

The Broaddus family, who have three young children, came face-to-face with their worst nightmare recently when they moved into a new house… that came quipped with a full blown stalker.

This €1.2 million house was purchased by the family in New Jersey earlier this year. It looks perfectly normal on first glance, so in fairness to them, how were they to know the horror that would unfold as soon as they moved in?

Within the first week of their new life, mysterious letters began arriving in the door for the family from someone called ‘The Watcher.’ Okay… we won’t sleep for a week now.

Here's an example of one of the letters:

"[The house] has been the subject of my family for decades. I have been put in charge of watching and waiting for its second coming. My grandfather watched in the 1920s and my father watched it in the 1960s. It is now my time."

Yes, that’s a bit creepy, but if it's not quite creepy enough for you, then read on…

"Do you need to fill the house with the young blood I requested? Have you found all the secrets it holds? Will the young bloods play in the basement? Who has the bedrooms facing the street? I will know as soon as you move in."

"Have they found what is in the walls yet? In time they will."

We literally can’t deal. The family got straight out of there and the police are currently trying to track down the letter-writer, but to no avail yet.
