There’s nothing better than a good homemade face mask – they’re cheap, all natural and you know exactly what you’re putting on your face. 

Here are a few timeless face mask recipes you might want to try at home:

Yoghurt mask
For a natural way to cleanse your skin and tighten the pores, slap some plain yoghurt onto your face and let it sit for 20 minutes. Rinse off and pat dry with a towel.

Lemon mask
For a quick pick me up, mix two drops of lemon with a tablespoon of ground almonds. The lemon will tone and exfoliate your skin while the natural oil from the almonds r will keep it nice and moisturised.

Egg mask
Sounds a bit yuck right? Don’t be fooled by the name. This can do wonders for your skin. Simply beat one egg and apply it to your face. Leave it on for 20 minutes and then remove it. Watch your fresh face glow.

This year’s Academy Awards is said to have “tribute to heroes” as a theme, with a special nod give to the 1939 musical, The Wizard of Oz.

The film, at the time of its release gained six nominations at the Oscars and won a single one for Best Original Score and Song.

The movie is one of the great classics and starred the beautiful Judy Garland, so we can’t wait to see how they celebrate this milestone in movie history!

Noooooo!! We don’t want to say goodbye to our favourite couple *sad face*

On US chat show The Talk, the cast of How I Met Your Mother spoke about how difficult it would be to leave their characters and on-screen relationships behind as they approach the end of the show after almost ten years.

It all got too much for Alyson Hannigan, who plays Lily on the show, when she was asked what she would miss most about her on-screen husband Jason Segal. Go to 1.44 to see Alyson getting choked up about the idea of leaving the relationship behind.

Professor Green is known for his Twitter rants and this time was no different.

Following a report that his five-month marriage to former reality TV star Millie Mackintosh is on the rocks, Professor Green took to his Twitter account to vent his anger at the story.

Labelling the rumours as “absolute lies,” the rapper went on to say that: “a year ago id have lost my rag … amazing the difference a year and a healthy mind can make”.

We’re so glad you’ve matured, Stephen.

This posset is light, creamy and zesty – exactly what you need after a heavy meal. It would be perfect for a dinner party or even just a night in as it can chill in the fridge until you need it.

What you’ll need: 

  • 1 pint of double cream
  • 2 lemons, juice and zest
  • 130g caster sugar

What you’ll need to do: 

  1. Pour the cream in a saucepan with the sugar and heat until it is just below boiling point.
  2. Remove from the heat and stir in the lemon and zest, whisk for 30 seconds or so until it thickens slightly.
  3. Pour into ramekins or dessert glasses. Cover with cling film and chill in the fridge for 3 hours or overnight.
  4. Serve with shortbread biscuits or ginger snaps.

A known prankster on movie sets, it seems that George was once pranked himself by none other than his good friend Brad Pitt.

Speaking on his Reddit account during an ‘ask me anything’ session, George revealed that when they were shooting for Oceans 12 in his hometown of Lake Como, Brad spread rumours that George didn’t like to be looked in they eyes and only wished to be known by his character’s name, Danny Ocean.

As these things go, the rumour ended up in the local newspaper which branded Clooney “Il Divo” and said that he was mistreating the movie crew.

When George saw Brad with the paper, he told him, “You’re mine from here on out,” to which Brad responded with feigned worry and said, “Please don’t harm my children”.

George finished by saying that Brad has done some “pretty rotten things”. What we wouldn’t give to see these two on set!

It seems that the 18-year-old who accused Kanye West of beating him up, no longer wants to go ahead with the case.

Just two weeks ago, the 36-year-old rapper reportedly chased the victim after he made racial slurs at Kanye’s soon-to-be wife, Kim Kardashian.

Since we all know how heated Kanye West can get, his reaction to this incident was hardly surprising.

It looks like the Bound 2 singer will be handing over a six-figure number to settle the case – that’s right, a full $250, 000, if not more.

The District Attorney still has to make a decision over whether to charge Kanye with battery, but if he does, it will be much harder to make a case without a willing witness. This, combined with the fact that Kanye was defending Kim against racial abuse, will make a jury unlikely to find him guilty.

Looks like Kanye can turn his attention back to his wedding.

It’s been revealed that Hugh Grant has a secret love child following a relationship with Swedish TV producer Anna Elisabet Eberstein in 2012.

The little boy arrived just three months before the birth of his second son Felix with Tinglan Hong, who is also the mother of his daughter Tabitha.

After doing the maths, this means that two women were carrying Hugh’s children at the same time. According to a source, it’s “an unusual arrangement” – we think so too.

It’s not known if the two women knew that the other was carrying a baby belonging to the Notting Hill star – they do now, that’s for sure.

The father’s name on Anna’s son’s birth certificate was left blank when it was first registered. However, it was re-registered in December and the actor’s name, Hugh John Mungo Grant, now sits in pride of place on the cert.

While it is an unusual predicament, the Love Actually actor has stepped up to the plate and is supporting the producer.

Anna apparently lives “in a very comfortable property in West London and knows that Hugh is there for her.”

So all’s well that ends well.
