As the summer sun approaches (it’s somewhere out there we’re sure of it) now is the best time to invest in products that will help to keep you cool.

Skin needs water to stay plump and hydrated, and Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet contains Aqua Sphere technology – microscopic moisture spheres that act like tiny reservoirs and hold hundreds of times their weight in pure water.

It also contains wheatgerm oil, Community Fair Trade shea butter and soya oil all of which will help to keep your skin moisturised and smooth. Its lightweight refreshing texture, easily absorbs into your skin, leaving you shine-free and fresh.

However, if you are after something a little fruitier, The Body Shops’ new Body Sorbets help to deliver a frosty burst of moisture freshness to skin, keeping you hydrated without a sticky feeling.

It is available in four fruity flavours: strawberry, mango, peach and satsuma that you will be irresistible. Containing 100% organic Community Fair Trade Aloe Vera from Guatemala it will help to comfort, cool and soothe skin frazzled by the heat.

Now all you have to do is decide which one to go for – ah sure why not just treat yourself to both, you deserve it!

Scientists have been baffled for years over why the French have such low rates of heart disease.

It certainly isn’t anything to do with all those yummy pastries and cheeses!

Their love of red wine was considered a likely factor – but a new study claims to have proven this theory wrong.

Past research has suggested that resveratrol – present in red wine – may help prevent heart disease, have anti-inflammatory effects, and even reduce the risk of cancer.

Taking a further look, researchers from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine looked at urine samples from 783 Italians, age 65 and older, who were a part of the Aging in the Chianti Region study.

Researchers tested their urine samples for resveratrol, then followed up with the participants for nine years but found no association between resveratrol levels and cardiovascular disease, cancer, or all-cause mortality.

So does this mean we should ditch the vino?!

Physician nutrition specialist and author of The Calendar Diet, Melina Jampolis, was surprised by the results of the study as she’s not totally convinced red wine isn’t a heart-healthy option.

“Nutrients don’t work in isolation,” she said.  “Heart disease and cancer usually develop over decades, and this study only looked at nine years.”

Jampolis also said that past studies have shown associations between wine consumption and a decreased risk of conditions like prostate cancer, diabetes and metabolic syndrome.

The bottom line?

The nutritionist said that while you shouldn’t overdo it, this study is no reason to stop having a daily glass of wine if you fancy it!

Wow! Rihanna sure has gone for a dramatic look this time around!

The singer showed off her new PINK hair, which she says was inspired by Nicki Minaj, when she attended a basketball game last night.

It seems that the drastic new look may be a wig as she uploaded an image of her new hair to her Twitter account with the caption: “We raided Nicki’s wig closet for the summer! Bad gals just wanna have fun!”

We quite like it, it’s a little Katy Perry but very summery and more than anything we LOVE that cut on Rihanna.

We think she needs to go full pixie!

A new study has found that supermarkets are now the best place to snag your dream man!

According to the survey, one in eight (13 per cent) shoppers admitting to swapping numbers with a fellow trolley-pusher.

Six per cent have dated someone they met in the supermarket, and two per cent of those questioned said they had married someone they met at the supermarket!

It seems we can pick up a lot of clues about someone’s personality from what they have in their shopping basket.

Nearly two thirds (63 per cent) admitted they would be more attracted to someone if they shared similar shopping and eating habits.

According to data revealed by Shopitize app, 6.38pm is the best time to bag a beau with most singles hitting the shopping aisles in the early evening.

Psychologist Dr David Holme said, “Lust-fuelled moments in darkened clubs and bars are the worst times to be selecting a partner for life.

“In contrast, in the clear light of the supermarket aisle, the contents of our trolley will say more about our personalities and habits than interrogation by a dating website.”

Iggy Azalea has slammed rumours that she has a fake bum.

Tyler, The Creator appeared in an interview when he spoke about the rapper’s ample bum, saying: “She stinks. She … she got shots in her thump, I want real booty you feel me?”

Thankfully, Iggy is not the type of woman to sit back and be spoken to or about like that and slammed Tyler on her Twitter account, writing: “Tyler the creator is beyond immature. I’ve always believed you had something more to offer the world, Shame to see you be so rude … people that make enemies and talk s*** about ppl they’ve never even met trip me out. I see it all the time … Strange world.”

We bet he’ll think twice about questioning any part of a woman’s anatomy ever again – and rightly so! You go, Iggy!

Style twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have opened their first retail store – and it has its own swimming pool!

The new boutique, for their fashion label The Row, opened in LA earlier this week.

The sisters have placed a leather basket of plush towels beside it for anyone who fancies a dip mid-shopping!

Even the newly-engaged Mary-Kate has thought about getting in on the action.

“It’s really tempting,” she said.

The store has been converted from a hair salon that the sisters had both went to since they were children.

It’s divided into three areas they have called ‘galleries’, which have been laid out to look like a home – with a dining room, library, and even a living room!

While The Row retails in 188 stores across 37 countries, the LA boutique is the first stand alone store for the label.

A range of the sisters’ favourite Manolo Blahnik styles are also for sale in the boutique.

Joey Essex has just been signed with Select Model Management – and his portfolio photos are quite the transformation!

The reality TV star has shed his love of bright colours and short shorts for a higher fashion look.

While we aren’t so sure about the shell suit in the second look, there is no denying that Joey has got a serious talent for the camera.

Perhaps he’ll be trading in his role in TOWIE for the runway?

Dating can be a very awkward experience, especially in the early stages when you know nothing about each other and try to present the best possible portrait of yourself. You try and hide your embarrassing secrets and are both trying to figure out if you really like one another enough to pursue the relationship any further. Maybe some of these awkward moments ring a bell?

1. The first time you go to hold their hand.
This can be a difficult moment to judge. When is the “appropriate time” to hold their hand. You’re wondering if they’re thinking the same thing but struggle to get a good read of the situation.

rejected-o2. Getting food in your teeth
Getting home from your date, you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror and notice an enormous piece of spinach hanging between your two front teeth! How long has it been there? Did they notice? WHY didn’t they say anything?!

Capture3. How to pay the bill?
Is he going to pay the bill or maybe you should offer? Or maybe you should go halves? Oh, we just don’t know.

date_man_paying_bill4. Trying to hide that you’re seeing a couple of people at once
What if they think you’re exclusive?

giphy5. Ordering the chicken wings
There is officially no way to do this gracefully.

giphy6. When it’s time to have “the talk!”
Oh no, you’re so not ready for this!

giphy7. You have to use the bathroom.
It’s inevitable.

giphy8. Seeing each other naked
Seeing each other in the nip for the first time can be awkward, especially if one, or both of you, are self-conscious about parts of their bodies. Just know that if one of you is self-conscious, then the other is probably as well.

jjj1. Do you go for the hug or the kiss?
The age-old dilemma of how to say goodbye to your date – do you go for the ass-out friendly hug, a cute peck on the cheek or go ultra-attacking and lean in for the kiss on the lips? Pay attention to the signals that the other is giving off because they will be thinking about the same problem as you are. Don’t over-analyse it. Find the middle ground on your first date and then take it from there next time around. Save yourself the embarrassment!
