Emma Ferrer is the 20-year-old granddaughter of Audrey Hepburn, and she’s made her modelling debut on the cover of this month’s Harper’s Bazaar.

The photos were taken by Michael Avedon, which is pretty cool, considering he's the grandson of Richard Avedon – a photographer who regularly worked with Audrey in the 50s.

Emma’s dad Sean Ferrer, says there are many similarities between his daughter and his mum, who died of cancer in 1993: “My mother was the same as she was on the screen: unassuming, humble, funny, emotional, strong, delicate. Fortunately Emma has much better boundaries than either Mom or I ever had. But the genes are strong — and the comedic gene is alive and well. And I can't help but think that both had to quit professional ballet because they were too tall.”

Emma, who is an art student, says she doesn’t see herself being a model full time, but would like to be involved in the fashion industry in some way.

We can definitely see a resemblance between Emma and her grandmother!

Girl group The Saturdays are planning an extended hiatus once their greatest hits tour finishes next month.

The ladies all have work lined up on individual projects and want to take a “few months” off from performing and recording, according to a source. “They've been working pretty much non-stop for six years and want some time off to focus on all their various solo interests,” said the insider.

Frankie Bridge (formerly Sandford) is no doubt relieved to have some free time planned, as she announced this morning she will be joining the line-up for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing. She is the first celebrity revealed for the new season of the show.

The singer “was the BBC's main target for Strictly this year,” said the source. “They desperately want her sexy girlband glamour and love the fact she is a WAG.”

Frankie confirmed the news herself earlier today and said she is dying to get her dancing shoes on. “Like so many little girls, I used to take dance lessons when I was in primary school… but this is going to be so different from anything I have done with The Saturdays. I just can't wait to get started!”

It seems to be all about the bum these days. However, if you aren’t blessed enough to have been born with a behind quite like Khloe Kardashian there is hope for you.

Schedule these exercises into your fitness regime and your bum will be the perkiest it can be:

Lunges
Lunges are easy enough to do and you can do them while watching Corrie. Stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart. Take one step forward and bend your back leg like you are going to kneel down. Come back to fully standing by pushing your stretched leg until you are standing upright. Do two sets of 10 on each leg.

Squats
These are particularly easy to do and you can even do them while waiting in a queue – don’t blame us if you get a few stares though. Stand with your legs apart, feet flat on the ground. Lower your bum so that your legs are at a 90° angle. Stick your bum out and make sure your back is straight at all times. Repeat 10 times.

Steps
This is a great way to make use of your stairs but you can take it outside if it is nice out. Simply run up and down until you can’t run no more. And then go for another one.

When toning your body, you need to push yourself when you don’t think you can do another.

There is a lot that goes on in a guy’s mind, but not all of them you can say to us girls. Here is a list of things guys think, but don't say: 

1. “Why do you wear so much makeup?"
It’s actually a compliment, but if you said it to a girl you don’t know how they would take it. 

2.  "I wish you would make a move”
Though many women these days are brave enough to make a move, so many more of us think it should be up to the guy. 

3. “Your friend is hot”
You know he is thinking it but God help him if he says it…!

4.  "I would rather hang out with my mates”
Sometimes guy’s  need to just hang out with their friends, but they don’t want to upset things and so they stay in with their girl. It’s ok to blow them off every now and again, but a guy needs to see his mates just as much as a girl needs to see her besties.

5. “I’m actually broke”
When a guy pays for a meal usually he is just doing it to be courteous and a lot of the time he is actually broke. If a girl offers to pay her share of the meal, guys will always be grateful.

6.  "I’m so immature”
As the saying goes “boys will be boys” and no matter how grown up they get, there will always be some immaturity in there. As much as they put on a front of manliness, once they get with friends any maturity goes out the window. 

7. “I have no idea what you’re talking about?"
They simply have no idea what is actually coming out of your mouth most of the time. Just go with it. 

8.  "Why do you bitch about other girls so much?”
They may think this, but at the same time they'll be giving out yards about their bro's new girlfriend. Pot. Kettle. Black. 

9.  "I don’t know what to do when you cry”
Guys don’t deal with drama well and if a girl is crying, sure they will comfort us, but inside they have no idea what to do. 

10. "I don’t know which looks better on you”
Girls insist on asking guys which outfit looks better on them, and they generally have no clue.

11. “That dress does make you look fat”
Thankfully, if you are with a good guy, he won't think it, let alone say it. 

12.  "I actually don’t want to watch a chick flick”
Suuuure…

13.  "I get really jealous when I see you with other guys”
If a guy likes a girl of course he is going to get a bit jealous when he sees her with other guys, it’s only natural. Even if you have been together for a while, there is always that seed of doubt that is planted in a guy’s mind.

14. “I don’t want to meet your parents”
Your dad used to be a bouncer? See ya!

15. “Stop stressing out so much about how you look"
Well, we kind of wish they would say this one…

After such a long string of scandals involving Justin Bieber recently, it would be easy to forget that the star faced jail time earlier this year following his arrest for drunk driving.

The singer was apprehended by police in January after he was spotted racing a rented Lamborghini at high speeds, reportedly smelling of alcohol. Breathalyser tests showed his blood alcohol level to be under the legal limit, but further tests proved the star had traces of marijuana and Xanax in his system.

Justin seems to have avoided a spell in jail this time around though, with his lawyers expected to accept a guilty plea on his behalf later today.

Rather than serving time, the chart-topping young star will be required to attend 12 hours of anger management classes and also to make a donation of $50,000 to charity.

Just last month the wild child was placed on two years’ probation after he was charged with egging and vandalising a neighbour’s house. Grow up, Biebs!

Socialite Nicky Hilton got engaged this weekend at Lake Como, Italy. Her boyfriend, banking heir James Rothschild, popped the question on a boat in the middle of the lake, a source told Us Weekly.

It seems no expense was spared by James in his preparation for the proposal. "Last month, he actually flew from England to the States to ask her parents for her hand in marriage," said the insider.

The newly-engaged couple met three years ago at supermodel Petra Ecclestone’s wedding in Rome, so Italy was the perfect sentimental spot for James to get down on one knee. "They are both really excited and incredibly happy," said the source.

No plans have been made for the pair’s upcoming nuptials, as they are currently celebrating their engagement with a road trip throughout Europe.

Hopefully this match will be second time lucky for Nicky, whose previous marriage lasted just three months. In 2004, the heiress wed childhood friend Todd Meister at a Las Vegas chapel. The marriage was annulled after Nicky admitted she had made the decision “on a whim.”

Cool it down
If every now and again your computer freezes and then shuts itself down, it could be overheating. There are ways to help this such as investing in a cooling pad. These little gadgets plug into your computer. just like a USB. and keep it cool.

Delete, delete, delete
Every time you go online, your computer stores data from each webpage you visited so that the next time you go there, it won’t take as long to load. This data takes up a lot of space though and slows your computer down, so it’s good to delete your temporary files every now and again.

Keep running programs to a minimum
If you have several programs running at the same time, it uses up a lot of memory. Close down any programs you’re not using instead of leaving them open in the background – your computer will thank you.

More memory
If you open your Task Manager, click on Performance and then look under Physical Memory, you’ll see if the available space is low or not. If it is, you could probably do with investing in more RAM – this will speed up your computer no end.

Free your hard drive
The easiest way to speed up your computer is to delete programs you no longer use from your hard drive. You should have at least 5% capacity on your hard drive – if you don't, it's time to to a clean out!

It is an unfortunate fact that fashion seems to be cyclical. There’s a ridiculous fad, everyone jumps on the bandwagon and after it passes we shudder and say “never again”.

However, it always comes around. 20 years later the people who didn’t experience it the first time round get on board, and either ironically or genuinely, it’s cool again.

But there are certain items at which we should draw the line.

Platforms

Been there, done that, twisted our ankles.

It’s ok to be short. It’s not ok to break people’s toes clomping around like a girl-power elephant.

Jelly sandals

No. Just no.  Put them in the bin with your Crocs.

Crop tops

Don’t let Taylor Swift trick you – crop tops are awful. In Ireland were barely have the weather to have our arms exposed, never mind our stomachs. The ability to disguise our bellies is one of the greatest things about clothes, and this trend ruins it.

High waisted jeans

While still preferable to the low-slung muffin-top-enhancing jeans of the noughties, there is a fine line between a well fitting waist and turning into your mum. At the very least make sure it doesn’t reach up to your crop top.

Grunge

Showering should always be in fashion.
