We’ve all thrown our arms up in despair after yet another disaster date, and declared to our dog that he is the only man for us (haven’t we…?) – so it was no surprise that this puppy was quite a hit when he joined Tinder!

However, as you would expect, it got a bit freaky. And not funny freaky. Check out this conversation, and perhaps be careful who you chat to on Tinder from now on!

So far, so cute! Until….

Yeah. She just said that. Run away puppy!

We all have different expectations about going to college and to be honest, most of them are completely off the mark. Once you get there you realise that things are little different than you thought, in a good and bad way. It’s a bit more laid back than you thought, which is a double edged sword because there is less pressure, but all the responsibility is on you. Here are the top things that people say before their first year in college.

1. “It will be such a doss”
It’s true that you will have a lot more freedom in college, but at the end of the day you still have to the do the work. No one is going to put pressure on you and it’s all on you whether you bother or not, otherwise you will be looking a lot of repeats.

2. “I’ll go to all of my lectures”
You have this grand agenda that you won’t miss a lecture and you’ll be sorted for your exams. This lasts for about two weeks and then you soon realise that sleep becomes more important to you than your lectures. By now you have realised that most lecturers post slides online, which gives you one more excuse not to go in.

82123fcd0de0dffa312de44b3c637e7d

3. “I’m going to join loads of societies”
During Freshers week you sign up for all the different societies because you get lots of free stuff. Then you tell yourself you will go to all the events that they organise… highly unlikely. Life gets in the way and you only really go based on whether or not they have free food and booze.

4. “I will be going out every night”
The people that go out every night will be the ones who either will be doing repeats or will eventually just drop out. You actually need to go into college sometimes. Showing up twenty minutes late and hungover for every lecture isn’t a good routine to get into.

5. "I work so I will have loads of money for partying”
If you’re living on campus, you will soon be wondering where all your money has gone. It is quite a costly expense to live on campus and with the little money you have left you will be scrounging for the cheapest beer you can find.

6. “I will go to the gym every day”
While it might sound like a great idea in practice, you go once and then you don’t see the gym for the rest of the year. It wouldn’t make much of a difference anyway because of how bad your diet is.

7. "Gourmet meals from here on in”
So you have learned a few meals that you can cook when you get to college. It’s a different scenario altogether though when you actually get there and you realise you don’t really have the time or the money to be making cuisine quality meals. The closest thing you get to a gourmet meal is Dominos Pizza.

8. "I’m going to get my assignments done early, so I’ll have more free time”
The harsh truth is that an assignment deadline just means how long more you have to procrastinate. You start off handing them in on time and it gradually turns into you giving it in two weeks later  and then finally asking  for an extension a month after it’s due.

9. "I’ll wear all my new clothes I got for college”
At the start you try to put a bit of effort into how you dress, you never know, you might catch someone’s eye in class. Over time you just throw on whatever clothes are on the floor and if you could you would wear your pyjamas to class.

10. "It’s going to be great having a new roommate”
No matter how much you love your roommate, over time the stuff they do will get on your nerves. It’s the little things like letting the sink pile up and leaving you to take out the rubbish all the time. Be prepared to secretly hate your roommate by Christmas.

11. "I will have to buy new books for all my classes”
You will soon realise that buying new books is a waste of money and when you lectures say you “need” to buy the book, it means you can get by without it. If you need to get any books you should just rent  them from the library and save your money.

12. "I will finally find someone who gets me”
If you’re going to college and looking for love you’re in the wrong place . Sure, you might hook up,  which will definitely happen a lot in college, but it’s not really the place for long term relationships. You might even have the same interests as them, but you will soon realise that there is more much to a relationship then having things in common.

13. "I’ll start studying a month before exams”
Ha well isn’t that interesting, you’ll be lucky if you get in some study a week before your exams. With assignments still left to do and lots and lots of procrastination, studying for exams becomes less and less likely the longer time passes by. Then, when you finally do decide to study the night before, you actually don’t understand anything.

As part of Chelsea Handler’s series finale on E! last night, she got something she may not have been expecting on live TV – an intervention!

Of course, like everything with Chelsea, it was all done in humour, though we can’t say good taste…!

Chelsea’s close friends, Sandra Bullock, Mary McCormack and of course, Jennifer Aniston, took to the stage to read to Chelsea letters they had written regarding her behaviour.

Jennifer told Chelsea that she smells, basically (harsh much, Jen?!) while Mary told the presenter how she has ruined her life: “Now the closest I get to a vegetable is potato, in potato vodka.”

To top it all off, the girls then brought out on stage Chelsea’s ex boyfriend – 50 Cent! Awkward much?

Thankfully, Chelsea handled the delicate situation with grace…no, not really. Would we have it any other way?! Instead, the star began to ask 50 Cent if he was over her yet: "I'm assuming your new album is about me? I'm sorry I ended things so aprubtly." Oh, Chelsea!

Chelsea is now making the move to Netflix so we can’t wait to see what is in store next!

As you get older, you’ll grow out of a lot of things – friends included. Here are the friends it’s ok to lose touch with in your 20s:

The gossipy one
Ok – so we’re not saying we don’t love a bit of gossip from time to time, who doesn’t? But if you have a friend who delights in the pain of others on a daily basis, then this is not a good person to be around. Remember the old saying: ‘those who gossip with you, will gossip of you’ – who knows what’s she’s saying about you behind your back?

The flakey one
Life gets busy in your 20s, so you don’t have time for friends who constantly cancel plans that you’ve made way in advance, or just don’t show up at all. If they really want to stay friends, they’ll make the effort. If not, then don’t feel bad about letting go.

The flirty one
When you’re young, it’s kind of fun hanging out with a girl who loves a bit of flirtation. After all, her charisma brings all the boys to the yard, does it not? But when you’re in a relationship and your friend can’t talk to your boyfriend without flirting with him, this is NOT good, and will only cause fights between you and your other half.

The jealous one
If your friend can’t be happy for you when good things happen, then why bother? Don’t waste your time with negative people, who only want to bring you down to make themselves feel better.

The overly judgemental one
While it’s great to get some advice from friends when you need it, some people can confuse giving advice with forcing their opinion down your throat. They can’t help but judge every move you make, and have no problem telling you what you’re doing wrong. People have to make their own mistakes, and your friends should be there to help you, not judge you.

The user
Do you ever get the inkling that your friend is only using you? Maybe her boyfriend is out of town, or she needs a new job and thinks you can help – whatever the reason, if your pal only picks up the phone when she wants something, it’s time to say goodbye.

The drinking buddy
If all you have in common with your friend is the ability to down a pint of beer, then perhaps you’re not really friends at all. This friendship may seem like a lot of fun, but would you be able to call them in times of trouble? If the answer is no, perhaps you have one less friend than you thought.

2FM’s Louise McSharry revealed on today’s Ryan Tubridy show that she has been diagnosed with cancer.

The 31-year-old radio star told listeners that she has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and has been undergoing treatment for the illness.

Louise remains positive and upbeat, despite the diagnosis, and says she has no doubt she will be fine: “I’ll go and do six months of chemotherapy and at the end I am going to be told that I’m cured and can go back to my life. I didn’t decide to be like that.”

The diagnosis came as a shock to the presenter who said: “Two weeks ago I felt fine.”

Following surgery in December to remove her appendix, the star says she began to feel "a bit strange": "I lost my appetite, I stopped getting my period, I started having these major gross sweats – really intense."

After a trip to her GP, she underwent tests where the terrible diagnosis was made: "I went into hospital and they did loads of different tests. Eventually some growths on my spleen showed and enlarged lymph nodes on my arm."

Louise is engaged to Gordon Speirin and the two are due to get married next year.

All of our thoughts are with you at this difficult time, Louise and we wish you all the best.

Kanye West is known for his dislike of the paparazzi, even going as far as to anger a lot of people by comparing the intrusion of paparazzi to rape:

“I want to bring my family to the movies without 30 motherf*****s following me. Everybody here, they like sex, right? Sex is great when you and your partner be like ‘hey, this is what we both want to do. But if one of those people don’t want to do that constitute, that’s called rape. That is called violation.”

So, it came as a surprise to basically everybody, when Kanye recently revealed that his dad was actually a paparazzo!

The admission came during a deposition in which Kanye is being sued by paparazzo, Daniel Ramos after an incident in which Kanye grabbed his camera and got more handsy than he probably should have…

Kanye said: “My father was a paparazzo himself. My father was a medical illustrator, a Black Panther, a Christian marriage counsellor.”

The rapper, who is married to Kim Kardashian, went on to say that not all paparazzi are bad: “Sometimes I get in the car with paparazzi. Paparazzi help me to park. The paparazzi watch my car and make sure the cops don’t give me tickets. There are some nice guys out here trying to just feed their family. And then there’s a*****es like the guy you’re representing.”

Sounds like this guy really got under Kanye’s skin – we wonder what he said?!

Well, something Kanye didn’t like, that’s for sure: “And this guy is asking me about dumb sh**. So, you know, I’m sorry that i tried to grab his camera … I’m not here to hurt people.”

Despite the rapper’s heartfelt pleas he was sentenced to 250 hours of community service, two years probation and 24 anger management sessions. Yikes! We think he’ll think twice before losing that temper again!

Following Sarah Hyland and Matt Prokop’s break-up, there must be something in the air over in Hollywood!

Disney sweetheart, Bella Thorne, has revealed that her relationship with Tristan Klier has come to an end.

The former couple had been dating since 2012.

The star confirmed the split over Twitter recently when she responded to one followers question as to if they were still together, replying simply: “no, I’m not.”

Bella also hinted that things perhaps went wrong due to a lack of honesty of Tristan part when one follower spoke about the split, saying: “I’m so sorry to hear that Bella… One day you’ll find your Prince Charming” to which the star cryptically replied: “or honesty.”

Eek – we wonder what he has been up to?!

Tristan also confirmed the break-up over his social media, writing: “Whether it’s trips to different countries or an awesome beach house, uve done it all. I know I wasn’t always the most appreciative but know it’s meant the world and more to me and I couldn’t have enjoyed it any better. I’ll never forget it, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.”

He may not be the coolest, or most stylish judge on the X-Factor, but we can’t help but love Louis Walsh. It’s just a pity his ITV bosses don’t feel the same.

The Mayo man has admitted that he’s on “borrowed time” as the only reason he’s back on the show this year is because of Simon Cowell:

“Simon wanted me back this year. I don’t think ITV did.

“But Simon and I work well together and he knows that I love my job and I love music. I’m on borrowed time and I realise that.”

Pfft. Don’t listen to them Louis! We love you – and here's why:

He tried to be as cool as Kelly Rowland, and failed miserably. But he didn't care.

He's not afraid of a bit of over-exaggeration, which always makes things more exciting!

And he keeps on smiling even when Sharon throws water in his face, cause he's such great craic!

No one does back handed compliments like Louis.

And he's not afraid to show his emotions, like when Melanie McCabe returned – our hearts damn near broke.

If it weren't for Louis, the world would have never experienced the Jedward effect.

And he ALWAYS sticks up for us Irish!

Oh, childhood dinners. We may love our food now but eating was such a CHORE back then. We feel sorry for our poor mammies who slaved over meals only for us to give up after two bites. Here are some of the foods most of us can remember vividly from the dinner table!

1. A standard Irish stew
These days it’s all fresh torn coriander and slow-cooking, but the stew of our childhoods was usually a bowl of mysterious brown mush. It always tasted amazing though (if not a bit bland) and was best served with a slice of white bread and butter to mop it all up.

2. Sunday roast
Though it was called “dinner,” this was always served around the 12pm mark. Roasties – tick. Veggies – tick. Chicken and ham – tick and TICK. Best dinner of the week by far.

3. “Salad”
Iceberg lettuce, cold ham and hard-boiled eggs were all staples in the Irish Mammy version of salad, which was usually a serve-yourself situation. No balsamic and honey dressing here. Oh, god no. Notions!

4. Bacon and cabbage
Love it or hate it, this was a staple in many Irish houses. Boiled ham and cabbage, usually served with a creamy white sauce. The ultimate comfort food.

5. Potato waffles, sausages and beans
This was the usual lazy Tuesday night dinner which you horsed into you before running off to piano or Irish dancing classes. Waffles could also be swapped out for toast, for a real low-maintenance option. This is one meal we still crave when the Sunday fear hits.

Selfies are funny things. You might upload them to Facebook for all your friends to see, but it’s pretty embarrassing when you’re caught in the act of taking one!

This dad filmed his daughter taking a bunch of selfies in the back seat of the car, and she had NO idea, because selfies are addictive ok? You become oblivious to the world around you when all you can see is your beautiful face. Or at least this girl did!

This is cringe-tastic viewing, at it's finest.

A certain level of stress is normal in any job or school situation, but over-stressing to the point of anxiety can reduce focus and leave you feeling deflated by the end of the day.

Here are some tips to identify the causes of stress at work or college, and to help eliminate them.

1. Know your limits
If you’re feeling anxious, having trouble sleeping, getting headaches or having concentration issues, you may be over-stressed. Know how to recognise this feeling so that you can work on reducing tension.

2. Take care of yourself
If you know a busy week is coming up, make an extra effort to ensure your physical and mental health don’t suffer as a result. Try to fit in some exercise before or after work – even if it just means getting off the bus a few stops early or taking the dog for a quick walk. The fresh air will clear your head and help you take a step back from the troubles of the day.

3. Talk…and laugh!
If you’re really feeling worn out by work or college, talk to someone – be it a friend, co-worker or family member. A quick phone call on the way home or a chat in the office kitchen can make all the difference and can really put things in perspective. Don’t underestimate the power of a good laugh for diffusing stress and tension either! Watch that silly YouTube video your mate sent you earlier, or take a few minutes to have a giggle with them about last night’s Great British Bake Off – whatever it takes to get you smiling.

4. Prioritise and organise
There are going to be days when your to-do list is endless and it seems like you’ll never get through it all. Rather than getting overwhelmed, try to separate the “should do today” items from the “must do today” items. It’s better to at least get the most important tasks done well, instead of attempting to do everything to half measures.

5. Know how to calm your mind
Pick one thing you can rely on to calm yourself down in times of high stress. A quick walk, a favourite song or a series of deep breaths are all good options for diffusing stress. Try this “cooling breath” method for a quick stress reliever: suck in air through your mouth as if drinking through a straw, then breathe out through your nose. Repeat at least five times. The blast of cold air on your tongue will in turn slightly cool down your body, reducing some of that hot-headedness.

6. Take regular breaks from your screen
Staring at a computer or laptop all day can place huge strain on the eyes, making you feel more tired than you are. It might not be feasible for you to take a break from the computer every 45 minutes as is recommended, but at least give your eyes a rest by either closing them or focusing them on something in the distance, for at least 20 seconds every 20 minutes.

Above all, never work yourself so far beyond your limits that you begin to feel miserable. Holidays and weekends are there for a reason – make sure you’re getting a good work-life balance and don’t be afraid to take a step back every now and then. As the book title goes – don’t sweat the small stuff (and it’s all small stuff)!

Khloé Kardashian may be rich and famous, but when it comes to finding love, things don’t always play in her favour.

Rumour has it that she has broken up with her rapper boyfriend French Montana. Why? Well it may have had something to do with him admitting in an interview that one of the reasons he was with her was for the popularity. While this may seem like a bit of a romance killer to us, Khloé said she didn’t care:

So perhaps it was because it turned out he was actually being paid to appear on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Kourtney and Khloé Take the Hamptons, and he was getting a bit too expensive. An anonymous source said: “He's expensive, and some people at E! just don't think he's worth the money. I've heard execs moaning about it, saying, 'We're just paying so much for him!'" Whether or not Khloé knew about this deal, has yet to be revealed.

Apparently the Kardashian clan staged an intervention of sorts when his ulterior motives were shown, and while Khloé didn’t want to listen at first, she soon changed her mind after finding scandalous photos and texts on his phone.

The reality star is fond of the odd cryptic tweet, so we wonder if this quote is a reference to the vast difference between Montana and her?

None of us are too surprised by this news, but we do feel bad for Khloe. Hopefully she’ll meet someone nice soon!

Perhaps someone who knows how much jewellery is too much jewellery too…jusy sayin'.
