Lady Gaga has repeatedly credited Madonna as her inspiration, but apparently the former Queen of Pop does not take that as a compliment.

Some of the lyrics from Madonna’s upcoming album were leaked today, and appear to attack Gaga for “copying” her style.

“You're a copycat, Where is my royalty? You're a pretty girl, I'll give you that. But stealing my recipe, it's an ugly look,” sings Madonna in her song ‘Two Steps Behind Me’.

“Did you study me hard enough? You're never gonna be, you're just a wannabe me. Like a sister all messed-up, who's gonna help you out? In your fantasy, you can try it all. But you can't be me.”

“You can walk the walk, even talk the talk. But you'll always be two steps behind me.”

Subtle.

A source close to Madonna confirmed the song is aimed at Lady Gaga, telling The Sun that “Gaga’s going to be mortified”.

“They're very harsh lyrics but Madonna really wants to express herself again.”

There’s no official word on when the album will be released, but it was teased that it could be before the end of the year.

“I'm hearing Madonna may well drop the first of the tracks as soon as November, much earlier than expected. I can't wait.”

If it sparks the epic pop feud Madge is clearly gunning for, then neither can we.

The rapper Riff Raff – better known as the guy who showed up to the VMAs with Katy Perry in a hideous denim parody of Britney Spears – has lashed out in a very random way.

British singing sensation Sam Smith took a photo with the denim couple on the night, and shared the snap on his Instagram.

He tweeted the Instagram pic, writing:

“So amazing to see my girl @charli_xcx last night!! Smashing it so hard #STORTFORD”

The photo shows Sam posing with Katy Perry and Charli XCX… and the knee of Riff Raff who has been cropped out of the photo.

Mr Raff to say the least did not take this discovery well. He replied to Sam’s tweet with a torrent of abuse, writing:

"THANKS FOR CUTTiNG ME OUT OF THE PiCTURE U CHUBBY LiTTLE F*CK FACTORY"

"P.S. YOUR FACE iS SUPER HUGE"

Wow.

Sam and his “super huge” face haven’t responded to the tweet, probably because it’s insane.

It will be interesting to see if the rapper tried to escalate this crazy one-sided feud any further. We wonder what Katy has to say about this.

They’re listed as the most successful duo in UK music history, and they’re the headlining band so they must be doing something right! Pet Shop Boys are on the main stage tonight from 10.45-12am.

Bombay Bicycle Club
This indie rock band is brilliant – head over to the main stage on Saturday at 7pm to catch them perform some of their hits such as Carry Me and Luna!

Paolo Nutini
Sure why bother going to EP at all if you’re not going to go see Paolo?! Well, that’s our opinion anyway! Catch him on the main stage Saturday night at 8.45pm.

Sinead O'Connor
She's bound to do something controversial, and her new music isn't actually bad either! She's on the main stage on Sunday from 3.50pm-4.50pm.

Lily Allen
Finally a chance to see if all the uproar over Lily’s on-stage antics during her tour were unfounded or not! Catch her on the main stage from 7pm till 8pm on Sunday.

It seems Dublin is a big hit with tourists these days – between being voted the fifth friendliest city in the world, one of its coffee shops being listed as a ‘must see before you die’ and being hailed as a ‘foodie heaven’, it’s sounds like the perfect holiday destination!

Now, to add to the list, The Generator Hostel in Smithfield has been ranked no. 3 in a list of the best hostels in the world!

When we imagine a hostel, we think of the grubby kind – but The Generator is nothing like that. With over 500 beds, it showcases cool graffiti and chandaliers made from old Jameson bottles. The bunks have their own lights, power points and secure storage space too – it’s practically five star!

The hostel is part of an upmarket chain of hostels in European cities, and the general manager of the Dublin hostel said he wasn’t surprised by the accolade:

“We're delighted to be recognised, but not surprised.

“We offer something for everybody, from the budget all the way to the business traveller. The social spaces are bustling with activity. In a hotel, guests rarely interact. You could never say that about Generator Dublin.”

Well, the next time we’re on the hunt for a place to stay for the night, we’ll definitely be giving this place a go!

5 Seconds of Summer member, Calum Hood, has confirmed that a snapchat of him showing off his manhood, is in fact him.

Despite the fact that his face wsasn’t actually in the snap, so he could have easily said it wasn’t him, Calum decided to tell the truth, tweeting: “Least ya know what it looks like now.”

He later blamed his youth (because, YOLO) writing: “I’m still just a teenage kid learning from mistakes J”

Needless to say, fans of the boyband member have gone completely crazy over the image over the image with tweets such as these interesting ones basically taking over the internet…

Most fans seem to be mostly concerned by the fact that they don't have Calum's snapchat.

This may be the most exciting news since…ever!

Warner Bros have announced that they will be setting up a replica of the iconic Friends café, Central Perk!

And where will Central Perk be located? Why, NYC of course! Central Perk will be set up at 199 Lafayette Street in the SoHo area of the city. 

For Friends fans out there (basically, everyone ever) this will be the chance of a lifetime to actually drink coffee in Central Perk which will be complete with an orange couch and, wait for it, GUNTHER!

That’s right, Gunther, played by James Michael Taylor, will be making some appearances at the coffee shop for fans.

This pop-up recreation of Central Perk is all part of the upcoming celebrations for the 20th Anniversary of the very first episode of Friends on the 22nd of September. 20. Years. We feel so old right now!

Central Perk will open on the 17th September and stay open until 18th October.

It hasn't been said yet whether the famous Friends group will make any appearances at their old haunt yet, but we can always hope…

Is it time to book those flights stateside now? Oh, we think so!

The town of Noiva do Cordeiro in Brazil has a population of about 600 women aged between 20-35 years old. It was founded in the 1890s by a woman who was excommunicated for adultery, and gradually became a popular destination for other women who had also been shunned from their hometowns – and understandably so.

Ever since, it’s been mostly a female only residence. Some women are married but their husbands are only allowed to return to the town at weekends, and male children are sent off once they turn 18-years-old. All town politics are run by women too – the men aren’t allowed to take part.

However, while this may sound like a dream town to some, there’s one big problem. The single women in the town can’t find any men to date!

So they’re putting the word out there. Nelma Fernandes, who is 23-years-old and lives in the town says: "I haven’t kissed a man for a long time. We all dream of falling in love and getting married. But we like living here and don’t want to have to leave the town to find a husband. We’d like to get to know men who would leave their own lives and come to be a part of ours. But first they need to agree to do what we say and live according to our rules.”

Ah, wouldn’t every relationship be just perfect if all men agreed to do what we say and lived according to our rules? Take it from us ladies, you’ll have a tough time finding men like this!

We all thought Kim Kardashian was the worst for the embarrassing selfie marathons, like this one for example:

We could be here all day but the important thing is that Kim K is the undisputed selfie queen. 

But it looks like she may have some selfie competition in the form of a singing diva – Jennifer Lopez!

The American Idol judge was caught taking a not-so-sneaky selfie on the set of the show by Henry Connick Jr. who decided to capture the moment in a selfie of his own.

So much selfie right now!

JLo’s fellow judge on the show captioned the image: “Stalkie selfie tweetagram! Beautiful @jlo in action on set of @americanidol nola auditions.”

Jennifer was obviously happy enough with the selfie she took as she later shared it with her own Instagram followers, writing: “On the set of American Idol… Great talent in New Orleans #idolseason14.”

Still, things could have been worse, she could have been caught out like this girl was by her dad during an EPIC selfie session!

We wonder if she has forgiven him yet? We doubt it…

Well, ‘tis far from California rolls and sashimi we were raised, but sushi has really gotten a foothold in Irish food culture in recent years.

You’ll be shocked to hear though that you’ve been eating it wrong all this time! While we’ve been struggling to look some way confident with a pair of chopsticks, turns out over in Japan they’ve just been picking sushi up with – GASP – their hands!

In this video, sushi master Naomichi Yasuda explains how sushi rolls (the ones covered in seaweed) should just be eaten with the fingers. Sushi with only fish on top like nigiri should still be eaten with chopsticks though – so those intensive lessons were worth something at least!

Pippa O’Connor has been modelling full-time for ten years, but in a recent interview she has revealed that she doesn’t want to continue full-time for much longer:

“I don’t think personally that I’d want to be doing it in a few years. I kind of feel like I’ve done it now – 10 years is enough.

“I love doing cool shoots for magazines and stuff so I’d always want to do things like that.

“But as far as doing it full time, like I have done for what seems like forever now, I’d be happy to leave it before anyone doesn’t want me anymore.”

Yikes – is this the harsh reality of modelling? Get out before you get thrown out?

It’s well known that the modelling industry is not easy – Lara Stone recently spoke out about being fired from a job when she revealed she was pregnant, and sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen also spoke out about being deemed “too fat” for a major clothing company:

“I showed up on set and they asked me if they could take a photo, and they shoot that photo off to my agency who then calls me as I’m sitting in the make-up chair and they say: ‘You need to leave right now. They just said that you are fat and that you need to have your measurements taken.”

Pippa’s family have been going through some tough times recently, since her husband Brian Ormond was accused of having dodgy dealings and meeting up with former criminal Martin ‘The Viper’ Foley because of an alleged €40,000 debt. Perhaps the stress of this situation has made her want to dedicate more time to family life?

Whatever the reason, we don’t think Pippa has to worry about losing her looks any time soon – she’s fab!
