Is it just us or does Coco resemble a sim in that video?!

Coco has just released her first book, Study of Pose, so we’re sure this discovery was the icing on the cake of a very exciting month!

Congratulations to the couple on their growing family!

Una Foden was announced as a judge for season four of The Voice of Ireland just last week and now the last judge has been announced as Rachel Stevens!

Rachel, who was once part of S Club 7, will join veteran judges, Kian Egan and Bressie and new judge Una on the talent show which airs on RTÉ on the 4th January next year.

Rachel spoke of her delight at the announcement, saying: “I’m a big fan of The Voice so I can’t wait to join the team of coaches on the Voice of Ireland this year. I’m sure it will be great fun, but most of all I’m looking forward to listening to the great vocal talent that Ireland has to offer each week and to securing a team of people who have excited me enough to make me push that button for them. When I turn my chair, it will be for someone really special who gets under my skin and I truly believe has what it takes to make it to the final.”

We wonder which of the ladies Kian will take on, having come face to face with Dolores and Jamelia in past times – we can't wait to see!

The internet can't get enough of "basic girls" lately (or "basic b*tches" to use their more NSFW name) – but what exactly are they?

Well… it's kind of hard to define a basic girl, as we reckon about 99% of the population displays some of the traits.

In essence, if you're basic you're a little bit unsophisticated, a touch too obvious, and let's face it, kinda uncool. Think of it as the opposite of a hipster. Yup, sounds exactly like us.

If you're worried (or hoping) you're a basic Irish girl, here are some of the big signs…

1. You still go to Starbucks for your morning fix – though you know it's not "good" coffee
Give me a Grande White Mocha over your single-roast Guatemalan beans any day. And once the seasonal drinks arrive, you can't keep us away. Well hello little Toffee Nut Latte, nice to meet you again! Extra credit if you have your own Starbucks mug or flask at home.

2. You always end up in Coppers of a Saturday – even if you swear it's not going to happen
The temptation of some extra craic on the dance floor come 2am is just too much to resist. Don't think you're off the hook for this one if you live outside of Dublin – every county has its own Coppers-eqsue nightclub. Is that the sweet strains of Cotton Eye Joe we hear?

3. "Thanks, Penneys" is a phrase you say at least once a day
You might change things up every once in a while with a trip to New Look but Penneys is still your go-to shop for cheap shoes, dresses, jewellery, knickers… The list goes on. And on. This is your heaven:

4. You have a designated pair of "comfy couch pants"
Leggings, trackie bottoms, yoga pants – whatever they are, you can't sit down to Great British Bake Off until you're clad in your cosiest bottoms. Most likely teamed with a pair of giant fluffy slipper socks. Style does not come into it. This is about comfort, people. Pure and simple.

5. You see a selfie opportunity wherever you go
Even if you hashtag it with #shamelessselfie… it's still a selfie. Whether you've just bought a new dress, or are out for the night, or are just plain bored, every day is Selfie Day. #DefinitelyBasic

6. You love a good inspirational quote
Your Instagram is awash with cute fonts set over pictures of sunsets and starry skies. And for offline inspiration, you have some emergency motivational mottos framed in your apartment too. Bonus basic points if it's your quote is a song lyric or something that was said by Marilyn Monroe/Coco Chanel/Audrey Hepburn.

7. Yankee Candles could take you on as a shareholder
A home's not a home without a seasonally scented candle. As soon as November hits, you'll be changing your "Autumn Leaves" candle for a "Cinnamon and Clove" one. Deeelish.

8. A Mean Girls quote improves every situation
"Four for you Glen Coco! You go Glen Coco!"

It has been rumoured that Justin Bieber’s mom, Pattie Mallette has branded Kendall Jenner a homewrecker.

While it’s true the pop star’s mom did tweet about a homewrecker, there is nothing to suggest she was talking about Kendall, but it seems that’s what people are assuming.

Pattie tweeted: “I know you love him. I know you need love. But… #DontBeAHomeWrecker.”

The tweet comes after Justin was spotted having dinner with Kendall in Paris during fashion week after which Selena flew home early and sent out tweets that alluded to another break-up between the two.

We're sure Pattie knows better than to get involved in her son's torrid love life, perhaps she was just watching a particularly gripping episode of Fair City.

You may find 'The One' straight away (lucky you!) or, like so many of us, you will have to endure the following charmers before you meet Prince Charming himself!

1. The Bad Boy
Every girl loves a bad boy. Is it the thrill of the chase or the just the danger he exudes. Does he smoke, does he drink, does he walk around with that “I don’t care attitude”…whatever it is it can be an eye opener for certain girls. Do you become a full on Bonnie and Clyde or nip it in the bud for something a bit more stable?

2. The Unfaithful
Everybody has been cheated on and it's never a nice feeling. OK, well maybe not everyone gets cheated on, but a lot do sadly! It’s usually not long before he becomes ‘unfaithfully departed’ and the relationship hits a ‘rest in peace’ kind of thing! Live and learn but don’t let it make you bitter. There are good guys too.

3. The Looker
Oh gawd….he's a model! You spend the entire relationship wondering how you bagged him before you realise there's no actual chemistry there.

4. The Figment of your Imagination
Whether its a special someone made out different elements of celebrities, guys you’ve been with or Disney princes you watched as a girl, this guy will never exist. It’s your perfect guy…but the one you will never have. Unfortunately.

5. The Sexaholic
The sex is brilliant, but there’s no emotional connection. But it’s still the best sex you’ve ever had…this will usually filter out into the fact that one of you wants something more. You will gauge all future sex life from this relationship, even though for one of you it may not have been a relationship, more a convenient understanding.

6. The Nearly There
It's love – no doubt about that. But for some reason or another it doesn't last.

Former Westlife star, Shane Filan has opened up about the “dark days” he endured in his new autobiography My Side of Life.

Shane, who suffered well-known money issues spoke about just how bad things got in an extract published in the Mirror: “For the previous five years I’d been leading a double life. We owed £18million and that day the banks had demanded all the money back. So there I was counting out the loose change that I jokingly called the ‘rainy day’ pot. I just broke down and sobbed when I heard.”

The singer says the difference between his life in Westlife and now is stark, as money isn’t as secure as it once was: “Westlife made a huge amount of money. I usually got a seven-figure sum every year. Now I don’t know if I will be okay next year – and it’s a bit scary.”

Shane, who is a dad to three children with his wife Gillian, spoke about the heartache of his children not knowing: “My world was crumbling around me. My three small children – Nicole, Patrick and Shane Jnr – were upstairs in bed thinking everything was grand because Daddy was a pop star. It was the most horrendous time of my life.”

However, the Westlife star, who released an album this time last year, said that Gillian saved him from losing hope: “I was wallowing in despair and could have gone under if not for Gillian. She saved my sanity and she saved us.”

Shane’s dream home in Sligo was valued at for €10million during the Celtic Tiger and sold just recently for €800,000.

He has just recently wrapped up the Asia leg of his You and Me tour.

A taxi driver was arrested after allegedly raping a woman he picked up after she left a takeaway on Camden Street on September 19th last.

The 32-year-old woman claimed she fell asleep in the taxi and awoke to find the taxi driver on top of her. Though she pleaded with him to stop, he would not.

The traumatised woman later alerted Gardaí and was brought to the Sexual Assault Treatment Unit at the Rotunda where it was confirmed sexual activity had taken place.

A taxi driver has since been arrested and his car confiscated as Gardaí continue their investigation.

After a bad break-up, it can feel like you’ll never be okay again.

All you want to do is lie in bed, eat junk and forget everything. At those low points though, it’s important to realise that you won’t feel like this forever. With time – and a little perspective – you will come out the other end.

And in some ways, though it mightn’t seem possible right now, you’ll realise that maybe the new you isn’t all bad.

Here are just some of the reasons your broken heart might be just what you need…

1. You’ll be more grateful
Be it one, two, or ten years down the line, some day you will look back and realise that your life wouldn’t be the way it was now without some bumps along the way. Be it the people you meet, your career path, your future love life – everything that happens is shaped by the decisions you make along the way. Your relationship’s end may have opened doors that you didn’t even realise were there.

2. It’s a shake-up
It’s easy to fall into a rut and miss exactly what’s happening in front of your nose. But by being brave and taking the leap to end things – whether it was your decision or not – you may realise that your situation wasn’t quite as rosy as you thought. You only deserve the best and shouldn’t be held back by a relationship that’s not working out.

3. It makes you see what you really want in life
Maybe you would have gone for that promotion two years ago, except that it involved too much travel. Or maybe you would have moved away from your home town long before now. In a relationship we have to make sacrifices for the other person – that’s a natural part of long-term commitment. Embrace the fact that you’re free to make your own decisions now – go forge your own path.

4. You’ll see how much other love there is in your life
When we’re at our lowest, good friends and family are the ones that can help us pull through. Be grateful for the love you have in your life – and let others look after you for a while.

5. You’ll gain independence
Whether you like it or not, breaking up with your partner means that you’re on your own in many ways. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Knowing that you can look after yourself means you’ll go into your next relationship with your eyes wide open. It’s amazing how far we can push ourselves when we have no other choice!

6. You’ll learn to live in the now
If there’s one thing a break-up teaches you, it’s that you can’t change the past, and you most definitely can’t change the future, either. Whether you two patch things up down the line or whether this truly is the end, a broken heart teaches you to be patient and to accept things as they come.

7. You know what love is
True love, and all the ups and downs that come with it, is one of the most important experiences we can ever hope to have. Know that you have felt love and have been loved – and cherish that knowledge, rather than wishing the whole thing had never happened. These guys knew what they were taking about:

With such horrible weather lately, a trip to the cinema is the perfect way to get cozy while pretending to be social!

If you’re looking for a good film to settle down to this week, you’re in luck as there’s a great range of flicks to choose from.

Horror, comedy and fantasy all get a look in – here are our top picks…

October 10th

The Rewrite

Hugh Grant might be eternally typecast as the floppy-haired cheeky chappy, but he’s always a sure thing for a good rom-com. This film, about an award-winning screenwriter who is forced to take a teaching job in a small town after his 15 minutes of fame runs out, is a light-hearted comedy that won’t ask too much of you on a rainy Tuesday evening! Hugh stars along with Marisa Tomei and Allison Janney.

October 10th

Effie Gray

This Victorian-era period drama was written by Emma Thompson and stars Dakota Fanning as Effie, a young girl trying to get out of an unhappy marriage. The story of Effie Gray has been told many times in films, plays and even an opera – this modern reboot looks like a good option for a girly evening!

October 10th

The Calling

Susan Sarandon stars as the tough-minded detective Hazel in this mystery drama. Hazel’s one of the best in the business, but her personal life has suffered as a result. Things kick off when a series of gruesome murders happen in her small Canadian town. The complex plot sounds like it’ll make for an exciting couple of hours!

October 10th

The Maze Runner

This fantasy thriller is based on the 2009 young adult book of the same name. Think Hunger Games but more terrifying! Thomas, played by Dylan O’Brien, wakes up in a post-apocalyptic world with a gang of other boys – but with no memory of how he ended up there. Expect lots of dark and chilling moments.

October 10th

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

This is a kid’s film, no mistake about that, but the fun cast means you might get some enjoyment out of it too – no shame! Steve Carrell and Jannifer Garner star as the parents of Alexander. The little boy’s day starts off awfully, but nobody has much sympathy until their own days start to go wrong too. Don’t expect any Oscar-winning performances but there’s sure to be a few laughs!
