There was a rather unfortunate incident on the Lorraine show today as ITV were forced to evacuate the set following a fire alarm.

The host was in the middle of an interview with X Factor Stephanie Nala, who was eliminated from the singing show the previous night.

Despite trying her very best to power through the commotion, the show had to eventually be abandoned as all staff and guests were forced to evacuate the set.

Dramatic!

Wow, we wish we had these talents!

Font queen Lauren Hom has found a way to barter her amazing lettering skills for a full belly.

The New Yorker offers her menu design skills to restaurants all over the city, for free. The only catch? Every menu item she writes down equals one freebie for her.

"Want to promote your amazing lasagna?" she says on her website. "I’ll do it for a plate of that amazing lasagna. Have the best cocktails in the city? Whip some up for me and I’ll whip up a beautiful sign for you."

Lauren said she got the idea when she spotted sloppy writing on menu boards in restaurants all over New York.

"I noticed that it's common for a restaurant to have a menu board that's written by, like, a hung-over hostess," she said in an interview. "And it's totally not a diss on anyone's handwriting, but I thought, I could do that and make it look kick-ass!"

The artist describes the trade-off as "complete fair barter."

We agree that Lauren had some pretty cool skills, but that's a lot of food to give away for free! However it won't be going to waste – Lauren admits she has a "terrifying, yet impressive appetite."

Does that guy like you? As in, like you like you? There's a few ways to find out…

1. He Slags You Mercilessly
To a degree, of course. But generally, if an Irish lad fancies you he will slag your clothes, call you names and comment on everything you say, this is just how Irish lads flirt. Lucky us.

2. He Talks About You To His Mates
If you introduce yourself to his mate and they already know who you are then that’s a big sign that he’s been blabbing about you to his friends. In there.

3. His Best Friend Nudges Him When He Sees You
Guys love embarrassing each other, so if you walk into the room and you see his best mate nudging him and laughing, it translates into “There’s your one you’re in love with.”

4. He Calls You Late At Night For The Chats
It’s coming up to bed time and he calls you to talk about your day or whatever, then this is a  huge indication that he both wants to talk to you outside of social hours and thinks of you when he’s in bed.

5. He’ll Try Prove His Manliness
Whether it’s being able to carry twelve tents from the entrance of Electric Picnic to the site or simply carrying a box of beer from the off license, he will stubbornly refuse help from anyone else in your company in order to show his strength as a man.

6. He Treats You Differently From The Rest Of His Girl-Friends/Other Ladies
It’s important to observe this carefully. You don’t want to mistake him fancying you for him considering you a really good friend. If he like likes you, then he’ll generally focus his attention on you in a group. Also, notice if his body is turned to you for a extended amount of time.

7. He’ll Wear A Shirt
Dress to impress. This is how most Irish lads will try to show you that he wants you to find him physically attractive and receive credit for dressing up. Say you like his shirt, it’ll make his night.

8. He’s Not Really Interested In Anyone Else
You notice that he hasn’t been texting anyone or has mentioned anyone else, and if he does it’s to see how you react. Try to notice how much he actually interest he actually invests in other women. If he’d rather grab chips with you at the end of the night than go home with a randomer at the club, then he definitely like likes you.

9. He Doesn’t Mind Sharing His Food
This is a big one. No lad likes sharing his food, so if he offers you his last chicken ball, he must really like you.

10. He Always Offers To Help You
Whether it’s just carrying your heavy bag or full on washing your dog, if the extent is too big it means he’s probably desperate for your love.

Last week, it was reported that Bruce Jenner is currently dating his ex-wife Kris’ BFF, Ronda Kamihira.

Since then, rumours have been rife that Kris is livid at the pairing – so she decided to speak out with the truth regarding the dating rumours.

Does she mind? Not at all it would seem!

The Kardashian/Jenner matriarch appeared on Today and spoke about her divorce and said that all she wants for Bruce is for him to be happy.

She also added that they are still good friends.

Kris also chose to address the rumour that Bruce is currently undergoing a sex change which she says is something that has been circulating since the ‘70s.

You learn something new everyday we suppose…!

Some days work is just too hectic to make proper time for lunch, and the only option is to inhale  a ready-made sandwich at your desk while trying to get other tasks done.

However a new study discovered that eating meals away from home on a regular basis could contribute to weight gain, loss of nutrients and higher cholesterol.

Researchers focused on over 8,000 participants in the UK during the course of five years and discovered that where we eat our meals has just as much impact as what we are actually eating.

"We found participants who ate six or more meals a week away from home had a higher body mass index and lower concentrations of high-density lipoprotein – a molecule that removes excess cholesterol from the blood," said Ashima Kant, the leader of the study.

She noted that the results did not just relate to those who ate fast food but also those who ate healthy pre-prepared choices.

According to recent figures, almost one third of Irish women are overweight, and over one quarter are obese.

While it can be impossible to eat fresh, homemade food at your kitchen table for every meal, perhaps the key here is to at least try to eat breakfast and dinner at home if nothing else!

Is the bob officially taking over?

First there was Kaley Cuoco, then Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss, Zosia Mamet and now Sarah Michelle Gellar!

The stunning actress shared an image of her hair transformation with her Twitter followers, writing: “Time for a change. Thanks @mararoszak for cutting and @rachel_goodwin and @TaraSwennan for talking me into it.”

Sarah Michelle has kept her blondey-brown colour and gone for a rather short bob – we love it!

Would you be convinced to go for the chop? We’re certainly tempted…

As far as crazy celebrity baby names go – it sounds like Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are going to take the biscuit!

Always the funnyman, Ryan has revealed the baby name he and Blake Lively have chosen – and we hope for the child’s sake he is joking!

Blake only announced her pregnancy two weeks ago, but Ryan is getting excited picking out names for their little one already.

Talking to etalk in Toronto on Saturday, the actor spoke about baby names, saying: “On the plane over here I was trying to think of baby names. I don’t want a name that’s anything pretentious or, like Hollywood-y … So I’m going with Excalibur Anaconda Reynolds … that’s if it’s a girl.”

And what if it’s a boy, Ryan? “Bruce Jenner” the actor says! But of course…

Somehow we think Blake is going to need to veto a lot of Ryan’s baby name choices!
