Who knew we could feel so much more than jealousy and inadequacy while watching the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show? They were the prime feelings – we are human after all – but there was so much more than that too…

Here is the emotional rollercoaster we went on while watching the VS Fashion Show last night:

1. When we really, really wanted to go…

2. And we heard that Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran AND Hozier would all be performing and we wouldn’t see it

3. When we heard that Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio were wearing bras worth $2million, and they didn't really look that impressive to be honest

4. And also realised those women have birthed four children between them

5. When we saw poor Ed Sheeran trying to keep it together during his set as the ladies strutted past him in their $2million bras

Here's the moment, in case you missed it…what a cutie. Concentrate, Ed!!

6. When Taylor took her love of short shorts to the next level – we didn’t even think it was possible!

7. When we realised Karlie Kloss is actually way taller than Taylor – this may in fact be the only way to tell them apart, so take note

8. When the Angels actually let us in on the secrets behind how they look so darn good (hint: It’s not Diet Coke and cigarettes!) Thank you, Angels

9. When we decided to shun our fourth (ok fine, fourteenth) Rose and googled the gyms in our area…sigh

10. Then said ‘ah feck it, it’s their JOB to look like that’. Your job is to eat the box of Roses. And you NEVER half-arse a job.

There is a common misconception that our beloved Friends characters Ross and Rachel were absolutely made for each. Yes, it took them a while to both get there, but when they did, it was perfect, blissful, a match-made-in-heaven and so on and so forth.

Eh, wrong.

Here are just five reasons we think this whole made-for-each other belief is totally out of whack.

1. Rachel decided she liked Ross when she saw video evidence that he was mad about her.

Did she genuinely like him or did she really, really like the fact he really, really liked her? Oooh, interesting decision.

2. He almost sabotaged her career by acting like a lunatic and constantly showed up in her new workplace.

Is that the actions of someone who’s ‘made’ for someone else? Dear God, no!

3. When did they actually seem happy together?

If they weren’t bickering about Rachel’s co-worker Mark, they were disagreeing about how they visualised a future together. Just a little something to ponder.

4. OK, this is kind of a biggie, but girls, he did cheat on her mere hours after they decided to take a small step back from their relationship.

Does the person who’s ‘made for you’ jump into bed with someone else after an argument? We hope not!

5. Em, girls, she agreed to marry Joey.

If you’re made for someone, do you accept what you think is a marriage proposal off their best friend mere hours after you gave birth to your supposed soulmate's child? Eh, we think not.

So, he wasn't her lobster, he did not have her best interests at heart, they weren't exactly fun to be around, he cheated on her and she said yes to someone else.

Sorry to say it ladies, but the Ross and Rachel fairytale is just that; a fairytale. Sob!

Alanah Pearce is taking serious action against the young boys who threatened her with rape online – she’s contacting their mammies!

The 21-year-old, who works as a game reviewer in Brisbane, Australia took to Twitter to show a screen grab of a threat she had received which she then sent on to the troll’s mom, and wrote: “Sometimes young boys on Facebook send me rape threats, so I’ve started telling their mothers.”

One mum was clearly horrified by her son’s threat to Alanah and replied to her: “omg little shit. I’M SO SORRY. YES I WILL TALK TO HIM!!!”

Alanah’s decision to reach out to the boys’ mums comes from her realisation, with a little research, that the shocking behaviour was coming from boys aged between 10 and 15 years old, she explained to The Guardian: “A while ago, I realised that a lot of people who send disgusting or overly sexual comments to me over the internet aren’t male adults. It turns out they’re mostly young boys and the problem is they don’t know any better, so responding to them rationally didn’t resolve the situation. And it got to the point where their comments were starting to make me feel really uncomfortable.”

The mum who replied to Alanah – thought to be the only one – has since gotten her son to write her a letter of apology, and has taken affirmative action in dealing with her son and other boys’ behaviour towards online threats: “She has gotten him to handwrite me a letter and she’s also spoken to other parents in the community. She is going to the school to talk about online harassment and bullying and trying to make other parents more aware of what their kids are saying online.”

We're glad that Alanah's positive reaction to her horrific online experience has garnered worldwide attention and will hopefully deter other trolls from such abuse.

It has been reported that Jessica Hart’s comments about Taylor Swift last year may have cost her this year’s Victoria’s Secret show.

Following the pop princess’ performance at last year’s runway show, Jessica was slammed for saying: “God bless her [Taylor Swift] heart. I think she’s great. But I don’t know, to me, she didn’t fit. I don’t know if I should say that.”

It turns out she certainly should not have said that, as it seems to have cost her a place on this year’s London runway, with her absence duly noted while Taylor took centre stage once again.

We’re sure Jessica’s runway snub has served as a reminder to the other girls NOT to diss Taylor Swift, who remains the Victoria's Secret sweetheart!

The model did not mention anything about the VS show on her social media sites, but it did look like she didn't mind missing out too much as she shared a holiday snap, writing: "Gone swimming…"

If her snub is truly down to Taylor, could the singer be a bigger diva than everyone is led to believe…?

Stress eating is probably THE most counter-productive activity there is, but we still do it. Got a tight deadline to meet? The only answer is to inhale three bars of Galaxy in a row, surely. Have a giant to-do list to finish by the end of the day? Well, if anything can help it's a family-sized bag of Doritos.

Us stress eaters are a special bunch. When we're panicked or overwhelmed, that bar of Dairy Milk looks approximately 150 times more appealing than it did half an hour ago. Heck, even if there's nothing tasty in our vicinity, we'll eat something, just for the sake of it.

Here are just eight thoughts that run through every stress eater's head at least once a day….

1. "So much work to do. SOOO MUCH WORK… God I'm hungry."
Cue a bolt into the kitchen for supplies.

2. "Why is there no good food here?"
Who ate all the funsize Mars Bars? Oh, yes. It was me. I hate me right now.

3. "There must be something in this godforsaken cupboard… There has to be."
*Begins frantic search for anything containing sugar*

4. "Ooooh. Stale HobNobs. Perfection."
My body is a temple.

5. "I'll just have one… No, six. I'll just have six."
DON'T LOOK AT ME!

6. "Why am I still eating?"
This stopped being enjoyable around five HobNobs ago.

7. "Okay, back to the grindstone."
I'm gonna be so, so productive. Promise.

8. "Aaaagh. I forgot about all the work I have left. SO STRESSED."
Food would help this…

Police are currently investigating terrifying threats made against Paris Hilton and her father, Rick.

The heiress to the Hilton Hotels, who is currently experiencing success as a DJ, has been subjected to frightening online harassment which include rape and death threats.

The perpetrator appears to mistakenly believe the 33-year-old star and her famous family are Jewish, and posts vile anti-Semitic remarks on social media aimed at the Hilton family. However, there is little doubt that the former Simple Life star is the main target.

Paris has had to deal with horrifying posts which encourage people to sexually assault her, with one remark saying: “Invite Paris to the match so we can gang rape her.” Another threat included the cruel taunt “One month and she’s dead. She’s never coming home.”

It has been reported that law enforcement officials in the States know the identity of the star’s harasser, but will be unable to make an arrest until verification via Facebook and Instagram has been confirmed.

We hope the situation is speedily rectified and Paris can move on from these very frightening events.

Beautiful mum-to-be, Blake Lively, showed us all how it’s done yesterday at L’Oreal Paris’ Ninth Annual Women of Worth Celebration in New York City.

The former Gossip Girl star, who was named as the new face of L’Oreal last October, has taken to pregnancy style like a duck to water and yesterday’s ensemble shows she has no intention of letting glamour take a back seat while expecting.

Wearing an almost-backless, black fitted dress, Ryan Reynold’s wife wowed photographers as she posed with one hand on her burgeoning bump and rocked some seriously chunky bling.

Although the proud couple have yet to announce their due date, Blake’s gorgeous bump suggests we won’t be waiting much longer and apparently, Ryan couldn’t be more prepared.

He recently told People magazine: “I’m good with diapers and diarrhoea and all that kind of stuff because I have lots of nieces and nephews, so I’ve done it all before.” That must be a relief for Blake!

The event, which took place at The Pierre Hotel hosted and honoured everyday women who have achieved greatness in the past year, included guests Dianne Keaton, Julianne Moore and Eva Longoria.

Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie has made no secret of the fact that she found the passing of Louie Zamperini, the man who inspired her recently released film Unbroken, very difficult to deal with.

The film, directed by Angelina, details the life of the World War II hero who managed to survive both a plane crash and getting stranded at sea before eventually being captured by the Japanese and held as a Prisoner of War for almost three years.

Angelina became very close to Louie during the making of the film and she recently opened up about the moment she showed him the story of his life for the first time, something which many understood Louie did not live to see.

Speaking at a press conference yesterday, the married mum-of-six said: “I downloaded it on my laptop and I drove to the hospital and held it over him, like this, so he could see it. And it’s hard to explain. How do you explain that moment?”

Clearly moved, she goes on to say: “It was a man watching his life. It was a man at the end of his life, his extraordinary life—this mountain of a man, with his physical strength, at 97 years old.”

Angelina recently broke down on the red carpet when describing the connection she had made with Louie and she’s relieved that he lived to see the film, saying: "It was watching somebody relive all their experiences and prepare for that great, powerful, extraordinary, inspiring, long life to end.”

Before his passing Louie said: "I hav all the confidence Unbroken will be a great film." We're sure Angelina did him proud.
