No one can deny how strong Ariana Grande's Instagram game is. I mean, the gal's got 135 MILLION followers, and she know's how to grab our attention.

This time, she got a little assistance from her cousin and the classic Lindsey Lohan flick Mean Girls in order to troll her fans. God is a woman, so she may as well show them some love, especially since she's officially DONE with marriage.

Ari loves a good practical joke, and this time it involved an affectionate PDA with her longtime pal and relative Courtney Chipolone:

In a photo posted to her Instagram yesterday, the Sweetener singer appears to be kissing Courtney while their other galpal, Alexa Luria, looks on with an uncomfortable 'Thank u, next' expression.

Ariana wrote a caption to quote the cult teen comedy, alluding to the scene when Karen admits to kissing Seth Masakowski: "'Yeah but she’s my FIRST cousin."

According to Karen's logic:

"So, you have your cousins, and then you have your first cousins, and then you have your second cousins…" Classic Karen.

Ariana kept the Mean Girls references coming, adding another Instagram post of herself and her two friends:

‘would u like us to assign someone to butter your muffin?’

That caption recreates the scene involving Jason the "skeez":

"'Wuld u like us to assign someone to butter your muffin?'"

She then posted a third pic with just Alexa, including the iconic Regina George line:

"'I’m on an all carb diet GOD KAREN U ARE SO STooPID.'"

Everyone who's a fan of Ms Grande's Instagram stories know how much of a film fanatic she is, but it seems Ari truly loves her some Mean Girls.

Thank u, Ariana, for providing us with some quality Mean Girls content.

Please continue on your righteous path of female empowerment.

Mean Girls is one of the most iconic teen movies of our time, and tbh, Aaron Samuels was our first ever on-screen crush.

The North Shore High lothario toyed with the hearts of both Cady and Regina while having a heart of gold (and enviable hair) himself.

Played by Jonathan Bennett, we we're huge fans – and clearly Jonathan hasn't let go of his love for the film.

Last April, the actor announced that he was releasing a Mean Girls themed cookbook – aptly titled The Burn (Cook) Book

'Today is the 14th anniversary of #MeanGirls and I'm thrilled to share with you all a little sneak peek inside my new cookbook #BurnCookBook,' he wrote on Instagram at the time.

'Coming October 02, 2018! So you can have it for your October 3rd parties..duh).'

The book and it's launch are chock-a-block with Mean Girls puns.

What kind of recipes can we expect? Well according to Jonathan 'Kalteen Bars, Gretchen's Wieners, Fetch-uccine Alfredo, You Go Glen (Hot) Cocoa, Ms. Norberry Pie, Just Stab Caesar Salad and Is Mac and Cheese a Carb?

It's the perfect gift for the Mean Girls zealot in your life.

Lindsay fans get ready – our gal is BACK.

Instead of hitting the big screen, the 32-year-old is about to take over our TV bingeing for 2019.

Lindsay took to MTV's Youtube channel to announce that she is joining their crew in a new reality show.

The clip reveals the star saying: "Pack your bags MTV, we're going to Mykonos. I've joined the MTV family, and I'm Lindsay Lohan. Get ready."

The show is fittingly named Lohan Beach Club

It follows Lindsay leading a group of "handpicked brand ambassadors" as they "strive to rise above the temptations the Mykonos nightlife scene has to offer".

The Mean Girls actor will also co-executive produce the programme.

The Greek Islands are clearly a location close to the actor's heart.

It's her third business venture there as she already has Lohan Nightclub in Athens and Lohan Beach House Rhodes.

Permission to get excited is granted as filming is already underway.

However, we have to wait until next year to obsess over the new MTV show.

Any teens of the 00s will know that Mean Girls is an iconic, of the times film from which many epic quotes were spawned.

Whether you're partial to a sarcastic 'that's so fetch' or a self-indulgent 'is butter a carb?' as you liberally apply buttery goodness to your spuds, there is no question that it is one of the most defining movies of the early millennium.

Now, a trip to London might be on the cards for Regina George fans, as a Mean Girls Brunch has been scheduled to take place in England's capital city.

The brunch initiative, which is a massive hit in NYC, sees guest tucking in to a two course brunch and bottomless champagnes, as well as Mean Girls -themed cocktails.

The cocktail menu includes the the Glen Coco and the Carb-less Butter, but no word yet on their alcoholic make up.

Guests will even be in with the chance to nab Kady's crown to become Spring Fling King or Queen, which wins you two free cocktails of your choice.

The brunch will kick off at Floripa, Old Street, London on Saturday, February 3 at noon and runs until 5pm (perfect if you have a curfew like Damien).

There will even be a Burn Book passed around for you get get out any issues you need to vent about.  Maybe lay off calling people fugly sluts though; it's not cute behaviour.

You can nab tickets to the event right here (four for you Glen Coco, you go Glen Coco).

Every year on October 3, die-hard Mean Girls fans pay tribute to a particular scene in the iconic teen movie by reminding everyone on social media of the date.

And this year, the cast themselves decided to use the ongoing interest in the 2004 film to raise money for the victims of the Las Vegas shooting last weekend.

In footage which was uploaded to YouTube, key members of the cast, including Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, Jonathan Bennet and Daniel Franzese, referenced some of the most memorable lines in the film before explaining how a simple donation would make a huge difference to those affected by the Las Vegas massacre.

After establishing a GoFundMe page, the cast asked fans to donate as little as $3 in order to amass a goal total of $300,000.

"Guys look, we know fetch is never going to happen, but we can make ths happen," our beloved Gretchen told those watching.

Take a look at this.

So, it's been 13 years since one of the greatest movies of the modern age hit our cinema screens, and yet not a week goes by when we don't consider wearing pink on Wednesdays.

Mean Girls will always hold a special place in our hearts, and now, it holds a special place in our makeup bags too.

Spectrum, a UK based makeup brush brand, are releasing a Mean Girls brush set, complete with its very own Burn Book.

But don't worry – this one isn't filled with accusations that anyone made out with a hot dog or has the amazing ability to surpress their gag reflex.

Instead it's filled with a collection of gorgeous pink and purple makeup brushes, and they're like, really pretty.

The collection launches with three options. The 10-piece brush set (without Burn Book), the 10-piece brush set with Burn Book bag, or the full size Burn Book which doesn't come with any brushes, but can hold up to 40.

What's more, Spectrum have confirmed that this is just phrase one of the collection, with more additions expected shortly.

The makeup brush set launches August 30 on Spectrum online.

Get in, loser. We’re going shopping.

Can you believe it's been over 10 years since Tina Fey gifted the world with what is arguably her most glorious creation – Mean Girls.

Once in a generation, a movie will come along that will completely change how we speak to and interact with each other, and let's be real, no script has managed to steal the Mean Girls crown just yet.

To be honest, we're not sure it anything could knock it off it's pedestal.

Unless…

Mean Girls sequel anyone?

And no, we're not talking about that 2011 Meaghan Martin version.

We're talking original cast, original writers, and a whole new catalogue of quotes to casually slip into your daily vocabulary.

Unfortunately, there's nothing in the pipeline just yet, but a recent Instagram post by Lindsay Lohan has led some fans to believe that the star might be interested in reviving her old role.

In a post directed at actress, Emma Stone, Lindsay wrote: "Can we film a movie called Mean Girls 2 together? I think we would be friends. It would be #sofetch"

She has since taken down the original Instagram post, but lucky for us, the evidence still remains on Twitter.

Raise your hand if you're personally on board!

Mean Girls is a piece of iconic pop culture whose legacy will never die so long as the term 'so fetch' is ingrained into our psyche.

A number of months ago, we reported that the legends over at Storybook Cosmetics were planning on seeking the licencing to go ahead with a Mean Girls makeup palette, and our teenage dreams of being Spring Fling queen seemed to be in sight.

Now, the palette is officially coming to a makeup bag near you, according to the SBC Instagram account.

A post shared by @storybookcosmetics on

In a previous post 8 months ago, the brand shared a snap of a concept sketch showing the possible plans for the palette.

Dressed in Burn Book packaging, the palette would feature cleverly named eye shadow shades including ‘Wednesday’, ‘Army Pants’, ‘So Fetch’, ‘Mouse…Duh’, ‘You Can’t Sit With Us’, ‘ESPN or Something’, ‘Glen Coco’ and ‘Flip Flops’.

In more good news, the palette will now reportedly include 12 shades as opposed to the originally planned eight, which means that more Mean Girls-themed names and shades are en route.

'We are incredibly excited to collaborate with Paramount Licensing on Mean Girls. We're total Mean Girls fanatics, and this eye shadow palette is one of the first palettes we dreamed up!' co-founder Missy Maynard told PopSugar.

'When we secured licencing for it we were ecstatic!'

Now to dust off our army pants and flip flops…

So, pretty much everything about Mean Girls was spot on.

The script, the wardrobe, the acting, the cast- we wouldn’t change any of it.

Lindsay Lohan played the leading role of Cady Heron perfectly, but what if we told you she was originally interested in another role?

Well, in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actress revealed that she was actually desperate to play the part of Regina George, because she wanted to be the cool girl on set for once.

“Mark [Director] came out to scout locations for Mean Girls and came to see me at my hotel and said, ‘Do you wanna do this movie?’'

''I wanted to play Regina. I had just played in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and Freaky Friday, not the cool girl in school. I was still 17 years old and I wanted to be the cool girl on set.’’

“So I had a war with him, and he goes, ‘No, Cady is the heroine, and that’s who you are.’ Then I sat in all the auditions. Amanda Seyfried auditioned to play Regina as well. It ended up being Rachel McAdams, and she’s wonderful.”

According to People, Tina Fey also wanted Lindsay to play Regina, but the director, Mark Waters, eventually brought her around to his way of thinking – and we're glad.

Oh, and while we have you; don't forget to have your say in the inaugural SHEmazing Awards this May! It's time to vote, and you can do it right here!

When rumours start about TV show reunions and comebacks, it's easy to be let down and most of the time, it's a long-stretch that everyone from the original will actually return.

But after Lindsay Lohan revealed that she'd be up for a Mean Girls sequel, another actress has come out and said that she's totally on for it too.

Rachel McAdams spoke to E! News yesterday to promote her new movie Doctor Strange, but of course the topic soon changed to Tina Fey and the burn book movie.

When asked if she's interested, Rachel replied, "Sure, I mean, I loved that movie. I love Tina Fey. I love the girls.

"I mean, to get to kind of have a reunion would be… we got to have a reunion at a photo shoot a couple of years ago and it was over like that and it wasn't enough. I was back in it."

And when asked if Regina George would be a mother today, Rach said, "Regina's probably had a few!"

Now all we need it Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert!

With Harry Potter makeup brushes casting a spell over social media, it seems there is huge demand for movie themed cosmetics.

And now the incredible people at Storybook Cosmetics – aka the geniuses who brought the Patronus palette to life – have set their sights on one of our all-time favourite flicks.

Last week, the brand used Instagram to showcase its ideas for a Mean Girls makeup palette and, so far, the Internet reacted with a squeal, speed tagging and pretty much every Regina George quote you can think of.

On Wednesdays, we wear  Mean Girls Makeup.  (Tentative idea, all depends on licensing )

According to Refinery29 the project is still its infancy, but since Storybook Cosmetics are seeking licencing permission to create the Burn Book palette, we’re hopeful that this dream will soon become a reality.

Most of us could probably recite a line or two from Mean Girls, heck, most of us use those lines on a daily basis – which is why we would totally love a sequel – and if Lindsay Lohan has anything to say about it, it just might happen.

The actress shared a throwback snap on Instagram last night with her Mean Girls co-stars Rachel McAdams and Lacey Chabert.

Linds' caption read: "#tbt @rayannemcadams @thereallacey #meangirls @markwatersfilm miss you all… sequel?"

Now, we know this isn't an announcement or confirmation, but if all the cast were on for it, how amazing would it be?

We can all forget about Mean Girls 2 (Yep, it was crap), and go back to Cady and Regina as adults maybe? Mean MUMS?! It's so exciting.

We think it's safe to say we'd ALL be heading to the cinema to watch this.
