An ex-Love Island star was caught in possession of the drug ketamine and is now facing a potential jail sentence when she visits court next month.

Bethany Rodgers was a contestant on the ITV2 show back in 2015, and pleaded guilty to possessing 134mg of the Class B drug after she was caught with it last year.

A maximum sentence of five years in prison is carried by the offence, but Rodgers may escape the full sentence if she admitted possession.

Appearing at Bradford magistrates court, 23-year-old Bethany admitted possession but didn't enter a plea for another charge of allegedly using thousands of pounds of criminal cash to buy a car.

The Sun reports that the former reality star possibly used the money to purchase an Audi A3 and is alleged to have "acquired, used or had possession of criminal property, namely £16,500" to buy the vehicle.

Rodgers is due to appear at Bradford crown court next month and is currently on bail.

Bethany appeared for just one week on Love Island, having entered the villa alongside Max Morley, and quickly became involved in drama among the girls.

She failed to couple up with anyone and was dumped from the Island just days after her explosive arrival on the show, and hasn't been sighted much since.

It seems things haven't gone well for Rodgers…

The 54-year-old and her fashion mogul husband now face a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison for each charge.

Prosecutors say the pair paid the money to admissions consultant William “Rick” Singer and his nonprofit organisation, Key Worldwide Foundation (“KWF”), which prosecutors said was actually a front for accepting bribes.

Rick Singer has admitted to being the ringleader of the scam and has pleaded guilty to multiple charges.

Lori and Mossimo have not made please like Felicity, who now only faces 18-24 months in jail.

According to PEOPLE, ''They were offered the carrot and the stick. The carrot was that this can all go away and you can serve your time and put it behind you. Remember, they were facing 20 years, even before the latest charges. The stick was that [the prosecution] would and could pile on more serious charges.”

They continued, ''They decided to roll the dice and it may have been a bad gamble. Now they’re in worse shape than before.”

Infamous R&B star R Kelly has left the Chicago jail where he was being held after posting his $100,000 bail, according to a Cook County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman.

The singer has been plagued by allegations of sexual assault, rape, child abuse, child pornography and aggravated criminal sexual abuse for decades.

Yesterday, the 52-year-old pleaded not guilty to 10 charges against four women, three of whom were minors at the time of alleged assault. He did not speak to media as he was escorted from jail by his lawyer.

The Ignition singer turned himself in to police on Friday and spent the weekend in a jail cell after denying all allegations against him over the last 30 years.

He has faced claims of sexual abuse for a long time, even appearing on trial in 2008 for child pornography charges but was acquitted.

Cook County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Sophia Ansari confirmed on Monday night that R Kelly had raised the $100,000 bail, which was 10 percent of the $1 million bond set by a judge.

It is suspected that he struggled to raise the $100,000 necessary, and that a female "friend" had to assist him.

His court appearance and plea has arrived only weeks after Surviving R Kelly aired on Lifetime; an explosive documentary series about the allegations of continuous assault from dozens of women, including his former wife.

He is currently being tried for sexual assaults which apparently happened from 1998 onwards. He met one of the four women on her 16th birthday at a restaurant, and another 16-year-old when she asked for his autograph.

Robert Sylvester Kelly was ordered by the court to hand in his passport, and to have zero contact with anyone under the age of 18. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 22.

The well known high-profile women's rights attorney Gloria Allred claimed in a news conference yesterday that she is now representing over six women who allege that the singer abused them.

Two more women have come forward to accuse R&B singer R Kelly of sexual misconduct, dating back to when they were 15 and 16 years old.

The latest allegations are the newest in a string of claims against the singer going back three decades, spanning child pornography to sexual, emotional and physical abuse and holding women captive in a sex cult.

The duo spoke out against the notorious artist at a press conference with infamous women's rights lawyer Gloria Allred yesterday.

Both women allege that the sexual misconduct happened in 1995 after they attended an R Kelly and LL Cool J concert in Baltimore, Maryland.

One of the ladies said she was just 16 years old and living in the city when her and a 15-year-old friend, the other alleged victim, attended the concert.

They went to an after-party at a nightclub, and Kelly pointed to the two girls and asked his staff to put them onstage. They were also offered drugs and alcohol at the party, they claim.

The woman said Kelly asked the two girls to meet him in his hotel suite, and that he entered the room wearing jeans and a white t-shirt, with his penis “out and over the top of his pants”.

Apparently, Kelly asked both girls to dance and he ended up lying on the bed with them, telling them they could be in his next music video.

Next, the singer began touching the young woman's breast and genitals, and asked the pair to engage in a threesome. Her friend said no and went to the bathroom.

The woman said Kelly requested oral sex from her, which she did, and then he had sexual intercourse with her.

She had been under the influence of alcohol and marijuana that had been given to her at the after-party, and alleges she “did not have the capacity to consent”.

In Maryland, the age of consent is 16. The two women never saw R Kelly again.

Despite the huge range of allegations against the singer, his lawyer Steve Greenberg denied all accusations against Kelly, saying he has never knowingly had sexual relations with underage women.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has been convicted of assaulting a paparazzo.

She scratched the photographer’s eye during the incident, which happened in Sicily six years ago.

The Londoner was handed down a six-month sentence by an Italian court on Friday – though it’s unlikely she’ll see the inside of a prison cell: the term has been suspended.

And according to The Telegraph, her lawyer has also vowed to appeal.

"We are appealing the ruling surrounding the 2009 incident," attorney Guido Carlo Alleva said in a brief statement.

Gaetano Di Giovanni was taking pictures of the model with her then-boyfriend, Russian billionaire Vladimir Doronin, in the Sicilian town of Lipari when Campbell hit him with her bag.

The outburst resulted in a scratch to Mr Di Giovanni's eye, causing him to seek medical treatment and take three days off work to recover from the injury.

Ms Campbell had been ordered to stand trial in Italy in 2013.

And while she reportedly reached a financial settlement with the photographer on condition that he withdraw the charges, the public prosecutor nevertheless proceeded with a conviction due to the severity of the incident.

Back in 1998, Naomi, who boasts a 30-year career in modelling, was ordered by a court to attend anger-management classes after striking her personal assistant with a mobile phone.

In 2008 she admitted attacking police at Heathrow in a row over lost luggage.

In landmark sentencing for this country, three former Anglo bankers have been sent to prison.

The move comes seven years after the financial crash that crippled the Irish economy – and five years after the Troika bailout that implemented a wealth of austerity measures.

Tiarnan O'Mahoney, Anglo's former chief operating officer; Bernard Daly, Anglo's former company secretary, and Aoife Maguire, a former assistant manager at the bank were given custodial sentences ranging from 18 months to three years.

And the judge refused to suspend any part of their jail stints – meaning they will serve the entirety of their prison terms.

Yesterday, all three had been found guilty by a jury of conspiring to hide accounts from Revenue Commissioners, and of attempting to conceal accounts relating to chairman Sean FitzPatrick’s brother-in-law.

They spent the night in jail waiting for today's judgement.

During a trial which lasted two months at the Circuit Criminal Court, the defendants’ lawyers had argued that non of the former employees gained personally by their actions.

They also said that their clients were of good standing, and had never been in trouble with the law before.

Nevertheless, O'Mahoney, 56, and Daly, 67, were convicted of knowingly giving false information to the Revenue. And O'Mahoney and Maguire, 62, were found guilty of conspiring to hide a total of six accounts linked to Mr FitzPatrick.

In response, Judge Pat McCartan sentenced O'Mahoney to three years in prison; Daly to two years, and Maguire to 18 months.

Twitter was quick to respond to the news – with many observers applauding the decision.

Judge McCartan told the court that it was clear the accused engaged in a deliberate and ongoing fraud to stop the accounts of Mr FitzPatrick from being disclosed to Revenue officials.

He added that Anglo was a "very sick bank" which "took a very, very dishonest approach to Revenue".

The three appeared emotional throughout sentencing – and as they were led away from the court by prison guards.

Anglo Irish Bank was founded in Dublin in the Sixties and was nationalised in 2009, eventually merging with Irish Nationwide Building Society to form the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation.

In the 15 months to December '09, Anglo lost €12.7bn. In total, Irish taxpayers' money amounting to €25bn was injected into the organisation.
