Rebecca Ferguson has finally opened up about her latest trauma in which a woman that she had considered a friend was sent to prison for stealing from her.

The 28-year-old star broke down in court last month when she explained how Rachel Taylor had conned her out of more than €61,000.

In a new interview with the Mirror, the former X Factor star opened up about her struggles and how she is trying to put it all behind her.

“I finally got justice, but I’m still recovering from it all,” the former flame of Zayn Malik revealed.

“There was so much more to it, and only so much that gets said in court, and I think if people knew everything they would be quite surprised to hear how I got through it all.”

The mum-of-three admitted that she believes it was her faith in people and putting trust in them that allowed Ms Taylor to take such advantage of her.

“I’m one of those people who tries to look for the good in people, but I’ve learnt that, actually, no, some people fundamentally just are not nice.”

A court found the woman who had been posing as Rebecca’s accountant guilty of two counts of fraud and the 54-year-old was sentenced to 16 months in prison.

Rebecca has had her fair share of ups and downs, with the recent court case and a series of unfortunate relationships.

But, while the Glitter and Gold singer is still single at the moment, she says she is the happiest she has been in years.

“I’m doing the new album which I’m really excited about, and I’m just in a really good place. I am the happiest I’ve been in years.”

Oscar Pistorius will serve no more than a further 74 days in prison: according to ENCA News he is due to be released on probation by August 21 following a recommendation from South Africa's correctional services department.

Charged with the culpable homicide – manslaughter – of his 29-year-old girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, the Olympic athlete was jailed for five years in 2014 following a high-profile six-month trial.

Reeva died in February 2013 at Pistorius's home. She was shot several times by her boyfriend. He has always maintained that he believed at the time of her death that she was an intruder.

A state appeal against his acquittal on murder charges is already underway, but it is likely that that won't be before the courts until November. If successful, the so-called Blade Runner could be locked up for life.

Reacting to the news, Reeva's family said the athlete's ten months in prison is "simply not enough".

They added: "We have forgiven Mr Pistorius even though he took the life of our precious daughter Reeva.

"Our lives will never be the same again as live with the sadness of her death every day.

"Reeva had so much to offer this world and we were all robbed of her life when she was killed."

The statement continued: "A person found guilty of a crime must be held accountable for their actions… incarceration of ten months for taking a life is simply not enough."

Born with fibular hemimelia, both of Pistorius's legs were amputated below the knee shortly before his first birthday.

At the 2012 Olympics in London, the 28-year-old became the first athlete with both legs amputated to participate in the Olympic Games, running in the 400-metre race and the 4X400 metre relay.

Under South African law he is eligible for release under "correctional supervision" having served a sixth of his sentence. It is likely that from August he will then serve an extended period under house-arrest.

Johnny Depp hasn’t been watching too much Border Security recently, that’s for sure.

The ever-so-sexy actor found himself in trouble earlier this month when he was caught bringing his two Yorkshire Terriers into Australia on his private jet, without declaring them.

Johnny had been returning to Queensland to continue the filming of the new Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

The dogs had already been smuggled into the country and it was only when pictures of them at a groomers made the rounds on social media sites that the authorities were alerted.

It has just been announced that if the actor is brought to court he could face up to 10 years in prison or a fine of  €245,000 – don’t mess with Australian quarantine laws, ay?

Barnaby Joyce, the Australian Minister for Agriculture, defended their tough stance in an interview with ABC Australia:

“If we start letting movie stars – even though they’ve been the Sexiest Man Alive twice – come into our nation and break the laws, then why don’t we just break the laws for everybody?”

While Johnny hasn’t made a comment on the situation, it has been reported that his wife, actress Amber Heard, has flown the dogs back to California to avoid them being put down under Australian law.

Let’s hope he can pull a Jack Sparrow and slip out of this one!

A judge in the US state of Texas has issued a warrant for the arrest of rapper, Wiz Khalifa.

Wiz, who is married to model, Amber Rose, was arrested back in May for marijuana possession at El Paso International Airport in Texas.

Now, after failing to turn up for a court appearance, Wiz appears to be in even bigger trouble and could easily find himself back in prison.

Not that he seems too worried, that is…

The rapper uploaded a risqué photo of his wife, Amber, to his Instagram page only 10 hours ago.

Orange is certainly not the new black at Saginaw County Jail in Michigan. Sheriff William Federspiel has decided to change the inmates orange uniforms back to the old black and white striped ones, because he reckoned the inmates were getting a bit confused between real life and pop culture:

“When the lines get blurred between the culture outside the jail and the culture within the jail, I have to do something to redefine those boundaries, because they’ve been blurred far too often in public culture.”

We suppose it makes sense in a way, it’s not good to circulate the idea that being in jail is trendy. Federspiel says he also wants to make sure there is no confusion when inmates leave the premises between the people in jail and the people who just like to wear a lot of orange.

Thanks for that Federspiel, but we think we can tell the difference!

There is good news for Tulisa today after her drug case was thrown out of court earlier.

Tulisa was arrested in June 2013 for allegedly organising a £820 cocaine deal.

Judge Alistair McCreath told the court: "There are strong grounds for believing Mr. Mahmood told me lies." The judge continued to say the court case could not proceed as it was "tainted."

Judge McCreath also criticised the journalist's sting effort, saying he went beyond even what the police would do in a similar situation. He could no face perjury charges for his role in the scandal.

We bet Tulisa is glad about this news!

It seems Rhianna’s ex has been a bad boy…again.

R&B singer Chris Brown must stay in jail until a hearing next month after being kicked out of his rehab facility.

This violates the court order mandating he complete three months of treatment.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin said he was troubled by comments that Brown made during his rehab stay in which the singer allegedly said he was good at using guns and knives.

The 24-year-old singer was arrested on Friday after he was dismissed from the Malibu facility where he was being treated for anger management and other issues.

Brown had been in rehab since November, when Mr Brandlin ordered him to receive treatment as part of his sentence for a 2009 attack on then-girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos asked that Brown be allowed to enter another rehab programme, but Mr Brandlin refused and set a probation violation hearing for April 23rd.
