Kim Kardashian West and her husband Kanye are gearing up to welcome a fourth little one to their brood.

The 38-year-old reality TV star revealed to Jimmy Kimmel that she has been thinking about what name she will give to her unborn baby.

She is set to welcome a second son via surrogate this year.

She told Jimmy that she planned to pay tribute to her younger brother, Rob, by naming her child after him.

She said, ''Actually, I do have one name. I was truthfully thinking about just naming him Rob, [after] my brother.''

However, the name could clash with the names her other kids have.

Kim is mum to three gorgeous kids – five-year-old North, three-year-old Saint and one-year-old Chicago.

She said, ''Then it's North, Saint, Chicago – Rob. It doesn't, like, really go. But I really was feeling that, and my brother approved that. So that's our one kind of name."

She added, ''I like Rob West, but not Robert West.”

We're sure she will choose something unusual and keep in tradition with her other quirky monikers.

Popping into Penneys is never a singular activity – you attempt to venture into it's hallowed halls for just one thing you need, be it bobby pins, tights or makeup rounds, but end up leaving laden down with their signature brown paper bags.

There is always a fabulous coat that catches the eye, or a cheap as chips piece of jewellery that elevates all of our outfits.

One thing we also end up stocking up on in Penneys is socks – and with April Fools Day upon us, Penneys decided to treat us to a little sock-related prank.

Posting to the Primark Instagram, the bargain brand uploaded a sun rise snap of a Primark branded vending machine perched by a wall in Temple Bar. You can spot the corner of The Temple Bar pub in the background as an early morning riser strolls by on his way to work just out of frame.

Clicking through the carousel of images, the blue machines can be spotted by European landmarks like Big Ben in London and Paris' Eiffel Tower. There are also shots of the machines sitting on sunny Italian streets and surveying the New York skyline – all under the very relatable hashtag #IOnlyCameInForSocks.

'Have you spotted something bold and blue in your capital city yet?' reads the caption.

'We can officially reveal our latest innovation; the Primark sock vending machine, providing you with the essentials when you need them most'

The machines are stuffed chock-a-block with rolls of handy socks (no fluffy ones, sadly) and honestly, we had a thrill of excitement after laying eyes on the machines.

While we would honestly LOVE if 'Primark essentials' vending machines existed (how handy if you laddered your tights on a night out or needed an emergency pot of eyelash glue) this is simple a well-photoshopped prank.

Clearly, it's a great idea though, as many in the comments section lamented the fact that it's a prank.

'That would have been actually awesome as I mostly come in for the socks,' commented one.

'I would love this machine,' said another.

However some fans thought it might just be true: 'Are these anywhere in Glasgow?' wrote another.

Imagine if Penneys made these vending machines in time for festival season?

We would have the stuffed with cans of dry shampoo, socks of all assortments and power banks for our dying devices – and maybe a spare top or two.

Anyone want to start a petition for Penneys to make these a real thing?

'From the shores of Dragonstone to the frozen lands beyond the Wall, this collection will let you create looks inspired by House Stark, House Targaryen, House Lannister, and the White Walkers.'

Choosing the right base for your foundation is essential – primer is essentially that load bearing beam in a building that simply couldn't stand with confidence without it.

Whether you have oily skin or dry, or want a primer that minimises pores, stops greasy patches or adds a glow, the beauty industry definitely has one for you – but have you ever considered using a blue primer?

When we think of colour correcting, the main shades involved are green, purple, orange and yellow: blue has never been on the table.

However, L'Oreal have recently launched a very intriguing new product in that exact hue.

Coming in a makeup-table friendly glass bottle, the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Prepping Essence is instantly distinguishable thanks to it's electric blue hue.

While you might automatically assume that the blue colour might just be a gimmick – or worse make you look washed out and grey – in fact the opposite is true.

The blue oil essence counteracts sallowness to increase luminosity – and we can attest to that. Taking the blue drops for a test drive, a few drops of the liquid dripped onto the face is all you need, before buffing in with a densely packed makeup brush or just using your fingers.

A post shared by makeuplove(@lovemakeup_1990) on

While the drops initially look blue on the skin, the drop's colour blends away to leave a moisturised, glowy base awaiting your foundation application.

The instant effect is a youthful dewy shine that catches light on the high points of the face, and once foundation goes on top, it acts as a natural highlight – you simply look like you have a healthily dewy visage. However, unlike many primer oils, the blue Prepping Essence absorbs in an instant while leaving a glow behind.

The essence is enriched with a cocktail of Acai, Kiwi & Goji plus Hyaluronic Acid, and deeply hydrates skin for up to 24 hours.

We took it for a test drive – applying it both before a normal day of makeup wear and for a night out, and it definitely gets the seal of approval.

For a daytime dewy look, we slathered it on in the morning with clean fingers, before applying a light layer of foundation on top, a slick of mascara, and a dusting of powder on the forehead and t-zone. No highlighter was necessary, as the primer alone gave us a 'lit-from-within' glow that was perfectly suitable for a day in the office.

For night time, we first went in with a light cream moisturiser, before applying the Essence drops with a foundation brush – opting for one with densely packed bristles to create a buffing effect, really working the product into the skin.

Then, we added a ;layer opf foundation and some cream contour. Our skin shone through the foundation, needing only a light but targeted application of powder highlighter on the cupids bow of the lips, the brow bone and the very highest point of the cheekbones to amp up that glow.

Unusually for an oil-like product, our makeup didn't budge while wearing it – we'll be keeping this blue trick up our sleeve for future makeup manifestations.

When it comes to representation of body types, shapes, sizes, skin tones, differences in ability and gender and sexuality diversity, anyone who doesn't fall into a stringent subtype of Western beauty standards can go years without seeing anyone who looks like them in the media.

Luckily, we're are wising up, and championing diversity more and more as a society, however Dove have revealed that 70% of women say they still don’t feel represented in the images they see every day.

Brands, publications and agencies have a responsibility to showcase people of all appearances – and clearly, it's what people want to see. How often have you felt dissatisfied with your body after seeing a post on social media, or read a makeup article only to find your skin shade is a mere afterthought? This stops now:

When you read an article, just like this one, and scroll through the images scattered throughout it, those pictures often come from a photo agency, like Getty. Dove have teamed up with Getty to create over 5,000 images of people of all types that publications and brands can use in their content – so theres no excuse for a lack of diversity anymore.

The project, called #ShowUs, showcases women without retouching – so that people can finally see somone they relate to in pages opf glossy magazines or in the main image of an online article.

Project #ShowUs is the world’s largest stock photo library created by women and non-binary individuals to shatter beauty stereotypes and is available now for the media and advertising industries to view, license and use in their next project or campaign – all shot by Girlgaze, a group that represents a diverse, global community of women, female-identifying and non-binary people.

The cause seeks to end the stereotypical view of what a woman looks like, and showcase many different types of individuals.

The project is unapologetically real, and marks the beginning of a more diverse range of representation in media.

The public have long rallied for this, and finally, Dove is brining it to the table. In one of the largest global studies of its kind, Dove research study shows that 67% of women are calling for brands to step up and start taking responsibility for the stock imagery they use.

On Getty Images, the search term “real people” has increased +192% over the past year, “diverse women” by +168%, and “strong women” by +187% providing more evidence of the demand for a more realistic portrayal of women and beauty.

There is also huge need for stock imagery to include women in more progressive and empowering roles and scenarios with “women leaders” up by +202%.

It looks like we now have the opportunity to appreciate beauty in all of it's forms.

If you're the offspring of an Irish Mammy, you'll know that trying to buy her a present is an absolute minefield… not least because she refuses to offer guidance, provide suggestions or even engage with the notion her child intends to spend money on her.

Put simply, presents (and discussion surrounding presents) is an Irish Mammy's kryptonite.

This, in turn, makes choosing a gift for her absolute torture when you know full well you'll be in for a world of pain if you exceed the €5 limit or buy anything she can't put to good use.

And with Mother's Day fast approaching, here are just 9 classic moments we've all endured in recent years.

1. The awkward conversation

Every year, we attempt to tackle Mother's Day head-on by asking our mothers if there is anything they're currently hankering after, and every year we're met with the same dismissals.

Between insisting there's nothing on God's green earth they desire to suggesting we're a little touched for even broaching the subject, Irish Mammies really know how to make us work for the info.

"Sure, what would I be needing? No seriously, WHAT would I be needing?"

2. The subtle hints

Accepting that it's highly unlikely they'll come up with their own suggestions, we tentatively test the waters by throwing out a few suggestions of our own.

With a blank canvass to work on, we run wild with ideas only to be quickly reined in by an incredulous-looking woman.

"Afternoon tea?! A spa-day?! Holy Mother, it's far from afternoon tea I was reared."

3. The outright refusal to play ball

While up until now, they may have allowed us to dance around the subject, there comes a point when they officially shut down all lines of communication on the matter.

They're no longer playing ball whatsoever, and it looks like we're officially on our own.

"And don't go asking your father either. Sure, he hasn't a notion what I'd want…. not that I'd want anything."

4. The bizarre suggestion

And then comes a time when relations appear to thaw, and your mother seems to actually want something in honour of Mothering Sunday.

It just so happens that her suggestion is so ridiculous, you can't help but question whether she's testing you, and the surly teenager inside you is now the one refusing to play ball.

"I've been looking at the same dado rails for the guts of 20 years. If you want, you can choose new ones with me."

5. The indulgent online browsing

With talk of dado rails bringing you to crisis point, you do what any upstanding millennial would do, and you turn to the world wide web for inspiration.

And promptly realise that the litany of prolonged discussions you had with your mother over the importance of Mother's Day has left you with no time to actually order anything for Mother's Day.

"I love her, but there's no way I'm paying express delivery at those prices."

6. The blatant resentment

While the whole point of Mother's Day is to honour the woman who has raised you, you – in spite of yourself – find yourself cursing her inability to help you out on the present front.

Why can't she take a leaf out of our Christmas book and list anything and everything she has seen over the last 12 months?

"She'll be lucky if she gets anything off me at this rate. And she'll only have herself to blame."

7. The frantic dash

If you haven't done a frantic dash through the halls of a department store the day before Mothering Sunday, have you even celebrated Mother's Day?

When you find yourself jostling for space between stressed-looking young lads, you know you've effed up yet again.

"Drop that silver picture frame, and there'll be no trouble."

8. The mother/ daughter gift

If crowded department store aren't your thing, then chances are you've gone with the gift of 'experience' right?

The very thing you mother said you'd need notions to even consider.

"I don't know what it's all about either, but just eat your cucumber sandwich and shush Mam."

9. The 'next year' promise

Next year, it will be different. Next year, she'll be sounder, and you'll be better able to deal with her classic Irish Mammy-isms, right?

Well, not likely, but you'll be better prepared with the help of Brooke & Shoals who are a veritable haven for anyone on the hunt for a Mother's Day present.

From candles and diffusers to eau de toilettes, the frustration of the last few years will be a distant memory with this range of handmade award-winning, stunningly packaged products.

Brooke & Shoals, take a bow.

7: The Newborn Identity by Maria Boyle (Penguin)

Meeting a baby is like meeting someone from the internet: you got used to calling them by a weird nickname and now you need to call them by their real name; they look nothing like their photo; it is hard to believe they’re real until they are actually there…

The hilarious and poignant cartoons of illustrator Twisteddoodles bring a smile to the faces of parents every single day. Her drawings brilliantly capture the unique experience of motherhood and the huge range of emotions that it brings.

In this warm and witty book, Maria writes candidly about what becoming a mother has meant for her. Interspersing her words with brilliant cartoons, she delivers a marvellously entertaining snapshot of life as a modern-day parent. Her sharp observations cover everything from the sleep-deprived early days of having newborn twins to the reality of being a working mum; from just getting out of the house to slowly get your social life back. Upbeat and humorous, this is a wonderful book for parents and parents-to-be.
