From its Starbucks-scented Christmas collection to its Better Than Sex mascara, Too Faced is well known for its quirky approach to cosmetics.

And not being one to shy away from an eye-catching trend, the beauty giant has released a holographic lipstick shade named after everyone’s favourite mystical creature.

In stick form, the ‘Unicorn Tears’ lip colour appears baby blue, but when applied, it dresses the lips in a shimmering state of iridescent pink.

While ‘Unicorn Tears’ debuted as part of the brand’s La Crème collection this time last year, it has been impossible to track down ever since.

Because the hype surrounding its recent return to market is gaining pace, we’d advise making this purchase ASAP.

December is just around the corner, and children are busy writing their letters to the man in red in hopes that their wishes will be granted on Christmas morning.

One little boy, who was clearly delighted to have finally sent off his Santa letter, was Pippa O'Connor's son Ollie, who popped his in a post box this morning.

The mum-of-two took to Instagram to share a video of her eldest child sending off his list, and he looks absolutely delighted as he beams to the camera.

Dad Brian Ormond can be seen giving his three-year-old son a helping hand, as the family embraces the festive season.

The 31-year-old recently welcomed her second child, Louis, in May of this year, and previously said that she noticed some big differences from her first few weeks with Ollie.

“So there were definitely days when I was exhausted and I didn’t ‘enjoy every moment’ but looking back now, those spells really are so short-lived. Before I knew it he was 1, then 2 and now 3 years old – all in the blink of an eye.”

The business woman has certainly been kept busy these past few weeks: she recently launched POCO jeans range and has just come back from a trip to New York with Brian Dowling, where she posted plenty of enviable snaps on both Snapchat and Instagram.

With the Irish accent being considered one of the sexiest in the world, those of us blessed with a cúpla focail are bound to attract the attention of lay persons and celebrities alike.

But just because a gaeilgeoir becomes the focus of a star’s affections, doesn’t mean they’ll automatically accept their advances.

Appearing on The Eoghan McDermott Show yesterday, Gráinne Seoige recounted how she was once forced to put Bruno Mars back in “his tiny little box” after the Grammy winner asked her on a double date.

Speaking of the incident – which occurred when the popular presenter was working with ITV’s Daybreak breakfast show in London – the Spiddal native said: “I didn’t teach him any Gaeilge but I had to put him back in his little box one morning on breakfast TV.”

“I think he was really using me to ask the news anchor on Daybreak out.  He was inviting us to his concert…He said, ‘And bring your little friend with you’ and I was like, ‘No, we’ll be tucked up in bed’.”

Stressing her belief that the 24K Magic singer was more interested in her colleague, Gráinne continued: “I said, ‘You’ll have to ask her for yourself…But I know I’m not free tonight’.”

It sounds like Gráinne made herself very clear indeed!

Amanda Mellet has been awarded €30,000 in compensation from the Irish Government.

The payment is a result of an earlier United Nation's Human Rights Committee ruling which stated that she had faced "cruel, inhuman treatment" due to Ireland's abortion ban.

Amanda has also been offered counselling and other support services.

The ruling, which occurred in June this year, came after Amanda filed a complaint with the UN after she was forced to "travel" for a termination.

Minister for Health Simon Harris offered the compensation in a meeting on Tuesday evening.

The meeting took place one week before an imposed deadline set out by the UN for Ireland to respond.

In November 2011, Amanda learned that her foetus had congenital heart defects caused by a condition known as Edwards’ syndrome and that it would die in the uterus or shortly after birth.

After being told by her doctors of the serious genetic condition, Amanda was advised to either carry to full term or seek an abortion abroad.

She spent €3,000 on a termination in Liverpool.

Amanda complained that the State’s ban on abortion had violated her human rights under international law, and the United Nation's Human Rights Committee agreed.

"When I read the report from the UNHR Committee I found the experience she went through deeply upsetting," said the Minister for Health.

"Indeed, I have subsequently met with other families who have been through the trauma of knowing their baby will not survive and made the difficult decision to terminate the pregnancy abroad and I have been very moved on hearing of their experiences."

With the world’s top designers fighting to dress her for even the most minute of occasions, Kendall Jenner’s 21st birthday party attire was bound to grab a few headlines.

But when the Victoria’s Secret model stepped out in a replica of the dress worn by Paris Hilton to mark her big day back in 2002, she caught everyone’s attention.

While the KUWTK star was quick to acknowledge the similarities between the outfits with her “vintage Paris Hilton vibes” Instagram post, until now no one knew how the heiress felt about Kendall’s update.

Thankfully, the Simple Life star has since proved herself a true believer of the phrase “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”, as she recently told Grazia that she was delighted Kendall chose to wear the eye-catching number.

“I was talking to her mum and then all of a sudden this gorgeous, glittering birthday girl walked in and as soon as I saw the dress I was like, ‘Oh my god that is the exact same dress that I wore to my 21st birthday, that Julien Macdonald,’ recounted Paris.

“[Kendall] was like ‘I know it’s not Julien Macdonald but I was obsessed with your dress so I sent the photos to the designer and had him basically copy your dress’ and I was like, ‘It looks so good on you!’”

“And she was like, ‘Thank you I just thought it was the perfect birthday dress.’  So yeah, I was really flattered and I thought she looked stunning and I thought ‘It is the perfect birthday dress’ especially when you’re turning 21!”

“It was really nice to see her wearing that and she looked gorgeous.  We had a fun talk about it.  It was cute I saw on her Instagram she wrote ‘Paris Hilton vibes’ with a picture of the dress and I thought that was really sweet.”

Happy Birthday @KrisJenner!  Sending you lots of love on your special day beautiful #BirthdayGirl!

Most of us have had our fair share of dodgy landlords, but wait until you read about this one.

People living in a house in Cabra, Dublin, have made public a list of rules that they must live by when in the house, and it's truly… ridiculous.

Rules, which come from a woman named Miss Firmo, include showering every single day, and having to pay a fine if you miss a day of cleaning. We honestly don't know how these poor tenants put up with it.

The list of twelve pages was published on Independent.ie, after a man, who wants to remain anonymous, wrote into the Irish Independent newspaper to complain about his living situation.

Each tenant has to pay €300 per month for a shared bedroom (four people in a room), and these are just SOME of the 108 rules:

  • Ignore the house bell, do not stay in view when someone is at the door
  • Do not knock on Miss Firmo's bedroom door, instead call on the phone
  • If any reason cleaning is not done, the person will be fined €20 for task not done
  • Observe the floor, breadcrumbs need to be mopped up
  • After cleaning, put your clothes that you cleaned in in a plastic bag and put in the shed for washing
  • It is not allowed to use butter or oil in the wok
  • You are allowed to get visitors, but need to be given the full name and phone number of the person to Miss Firmo
  • All visitors will be included in bills
  • You are allowed to get a visit from your girlfriend/boyfriend if it is a relationship longer than a month. They also need to be introduced to Miss Firmo one month prior to visit
  • Smile you are on TV! Be advised there are hiding cameras in the common areas
  • Avoid speaking any other language than English
  • Do not turn central heating on after 6pm in any season of the year
  • You are forbidden to give anyone the Internet password
  • It is not allowed to spill water or any liquid anywhere in the house
  • Be very careful with food crumbs, it will kill the cat

Yep, and we're not even joking about the last one. That's rule number 108.

Full, pouty lips have become a one of the most covetable facial features. Call it the Kylie Jenner effect.

While some of us choose to go down the cosmetic surgery route to achieve the perfect pout, one beauty blogger has a natural approach to achieving a voluminous lip look.

Taking the fate of her lips into her own hands, Farah Dhukai applied wasabi spice to provoke her pout into inflating.

A video posted by Farah D (@farahdhukai) on

The video has since racked up more than 6.2 million views in four days.

"Natural lip fillers, get soft plump full lips without needles or sucking on cups or objects," promises the beauty blogger.

"As you may have noticed, I have VERY wrinkly lips and its cold AF in Toronto so now they're super dry too. This one trick is a great way to get plump lips that look like you've had fillers."

A photo posted by Farah D (@farahdhukai) on

"They'll be extremely soft, wrinkles will be filled in, they'll have a natural pink colour, and they'll be so plump ppl will think you've had them done."

The social media star, who already has over 4 million followers, is known for her DIY beauty inventions including clay hair masks and home brewed matcha skin cleanser.

While there is no scientific evidence that supports wasabi's pout plumping capabilities, it's a lot cheaper than fillers. Just make sure to do a patch test first.

The youngster spent one week in hospital before the Long family were able to bring him home 10 days ago.

And it is clear that little Jax has well and truly settled in, if his mum's latest Instagram post is anything to go by.

Taking to the social media site last night, the mum-of-three wrote: "To think 2 weeks ago he had tubes up his nose, mouth and into his little hand, breaks my heart. But look at him now so perfect."

The 29-year-old's followers were quick to offer their support and congratulations.

One mum was even able to relate to her experience, writing: "OMG I totally understand how you feel. My little girl arrived over 3 weeks ago and was in exactly the same position. I keep staring at her now she's home and has no wires or tubes. Our munchkins are fighters!"

Just recently, footballer Shane took to Twitter to share his joy at finally beign able to bring his youngest child home

Uploading a black and white snap of his youngster, he wrote: “Look who's home!”

Kayleah and Shane are also parents to six-year-old Teigan and two-year-old Erin.
