Triona Priestly’s wish was granted this afternoon after her idol Ed Sheeran, called the 15-year-old for a chat.

Triona from Dublin is battling the final stages of cystic fibrosis and revealed that it was her dream to talk to to her favourite singer, Ed Sheeran.

Triona’s family and friends rallied around to try and get in contact with Ed which resulted in #SongforTri trending on Twitter.

The campaign was definitely a success as the Give Me Love singer made Triona’s wish come true by contacting the teenager today.

Sheeran spoke about his interaction with the teenager: “I managed to get in contact with Triona. It’s so sad.”

Orla Tinsley, Triona’s friend spoke of how much Triona loves Ed Sheernan and how much a chat with the singer would mean to her.

“Her brother told me she is not afraid.  Colm says she interrupts his guitar playing regularly to show him Ed Sheeran things. She loves music and acoustic guitar. ‘It does something to my heart.’”

We’re delighted to hear Triona’s wish came true.

It’s no secret that Taylor Swift has a big effect on the boys. So it’s not surprising that The Vamps singer, James McVey has developed a bit of a crush on the 24-year-old singer.

It seems James began to fancy Taylor after the band was supporting Swift during her Red tour in February. I Knew You Were Trouble singer liked the boys so much that she invited them back to one of her US shows where she played hostess and cooked the boys dinner.

When speaking of 24-year-old beauty, James said: “We played all her London dates with her, we just chilled and when she had her hair cut we were there. It was cool! Then she invited us round [to her L.A. home] and we just chilled.”

James’ fellow band mate Conor revealed that James does have a bit of a crush on Swift but tried to play it down saying that everyone in the band likes Taylor.

When James was questioned on whether romance was blossoming between him and Taylor he went on to to say “We’re just friends” and that Swift never came onto him.

Well, you never know James.

There is a new wedding trend on the rise and we are torn on it.

You could now, for a hefty sum, hire a social media coordinator to make sure your wedding is on the net. As it happens.

Yes, that’s right, somebody who would take pretty Instagram photos, live tweet the whole day, make Pinterest boards and Vine videos all for your big day.

The trend was advertised by W Hotels in NYC who were giving couples the chance to hire a social media coordinator for the price of $3,000. Eek, that is steep!

While it does sound a little bit extravagant and an added cost that you may not need, it would be nice to know that people are interacting with your big day on the internet as it happens.

Plus, if you look stunning anyway, think of how you’ll look with an Instagram filter….

But the well-meaning hoax played here on a number of homeless people in this video will melt your heart.

Traveling is a very stressful time for everyone. The slightest turn of events can ruin your day and when things go wrong, they go very wrong. If you have traveled through an airport recently or you are dreaming of your summer plans, be prepared.

1. Baggage
Is it necessary to be so overly strict on baggage. When you go into Dunnes or Penneys or Samsonite for our posh readers, are we really supposed to bring a measuring tape and measure the correct size? No. And, does it really matter if the bag looks too full? Give us a break. If you come across an air hostess that insists you check in your carry on – don’t take it lying down. You take out every jumper in the case and put them on. Take crap from no one.

2. First Class
If you can’t spot the rich folk in the airport, check out their bags. They will either be massive or designer. These rich people are the worst on long haul flights. If you’re flying on a plane that has first class and coach, it is like you are in a massive doctor’s waiting room and they are calling up everyone who is better than you first. They swan on to first class and get their luxury bed and better food. Oh god how we hate them.

3. Gates
Your gate is boarding in an hour. Great news, you can get a nice meal before you get on the plane. Now it’s a half an hour until the gate closes. You will start walking but realise it is 20 minutes away. Then you start running. The panic and stress between now and boarding will cause a serious amount of sweat.

4. Duty Free Prices
So, you are on your way to your European destination and you need to buy alcohol before you go. Ah yes the duty free is nice and cheap – 2 litres for €20, brilliant. You go to pay and are told: “Oh sorry that is only for people flying to countries outside the E.U. If you squint your eyes and look at the tiny price in the bottom corner – that is how much they are.” Bring in the awkward moment of putting it all back.

5. Liquids
This 100ml rule needs to end. It is so bloody stressful and now Dublin airport are insisting you have to use their plastic bags. Grrrrr.

6. Searched
There is nothing worse than going through security and getting beeped. Then the always-awkward rub down from the security woman or man. Oh the shame. And if you’re prone to these incidents, you’ll usually look so nervous that it looks like you have something to hide. Just madness.

7. Bad food choices
Is it wrong to expect a McDonalds in every airport? Is it wrong to shiver at the sight of a Quick burger? And is it okay to be sad when all they have are two overpriced restaurants serving below average food?

8. Leaving things behind
Whether you are the person who rushes everyone or you have a friend or parent who is, there are serious consequences. When you get overwhelmed in an airport and are in a rush, you can leave things behind. The gifts to bring home, the vodka for a festival you are going to in a few weeks or that large Toblerone you have been craving. But, you know what is worse? Leaving stuff behind on the plane – so close yet so far.

9. Rude staff
When airport staff are rude it ruins your day, so watch out for this one. You catch someone on a bad day and you could be forced to check your carry-on bag or undergo an unpleasant security search.

10. Bag checks
There is nothing worse than having to open up your bag at security. It doesn’t matter if your underwear is on top or not – it is still awkward and embarrassing. And, most of all, it wastes time that could be spent eating a burger and chips.

11. False promises
When your flight is delayed and you are promised it will take off soon and then it’s delayed more and you’re promised it won’t be long and then it’s cancelled. Worst feeling ever.

Celebrity Big Brother contestant Jasmine Waltz has accused her ex-boyfriend Lee Ryan of cheating on her with a man.

The American actress and the pop singer recently ended their two-month fling in dramatic fashion and now it seems the drama is set to continue with much very public mudslinging.

31-year-old Jasmine claimed to have dumped the Blue singer for being a “deluded screw-up” and has now taken to Twitter to vent her suspicions that Lee cheated on her with a man.

The reality TV star said the real reason for the split was, “he cheated on me with a MAN!” before urging her ex to admit he was gay.

“Wish this was a joke. Living a lie and dragging other people into your life is selfish and disgusting.. #bereal #manup,” she added.

At the weekend, Jasmine had said Lee had wanted to marry her but added that being in a relationship with him was “emotionally draining.”

“Lee would not stop talking about himself and his career. It was Lee, Lee, Lee, non-stop,” she said.

There was a lot of accident-prone models at this season’s China Fashion Week.

Three models fell over thanks to the rather insane heels they were wearing by designer Seccry Sheguang Hu.

We think these ladies are lucky they didn’t do any serious damage in those heels!

We’re sure the ladies are feeling down about it all but it happens to the best of models, remember Naomi Campbell?

The one time of year you and your group of girls go on holidays is so exciting. But with all the alcohol, sun stroke and hangovers, things are bound to go awry. Even if it was the best holiday you have ever had, things will still happen and people will still be annoying. Here are the main things that happen on a girls holiday.

1. People disappearing with the room key
The person who takes the room key has all of the control. They are usually responsible and always there to give the key to who wants to go home first. But, at least for two of these nights, they will disappear. Their phone will run out of battery or be on silent and you will have no clue where they are. Cue your friends standing outside the apartment in the freezing cold at 3am waiting for them to come home.

2. Someone not coming home
It seemed fine and grand when you were drunk, but, when you wake up at 1pm the next day with no text or sign from your friend, you get worried. Thus begins the drama and panic of looking for your lost friend. Turns out she was just with some guy but a text would have been nice.

3. The broke friend
If you are low on cash, why didn’t you work more before going on the holiday or go out less? Now that you’re all away, you have a way of turning it around and making everyone feel bad for you. This means the group will end up footing the bill for you every night or will try to match your budget and spend the holiday eating microwave pasta.

4. Guest list fail
You emailed the biggest nightclub here a week in advance so you guys could get on the guest list and get in no problem. You all arrive to the club and find that you’re not on it or you don’t have one and you can’t get in. Guess it’s off to McDonalds and straight to bed.

5. The shopaholic
There is one girl in the group that can’t control herself around the shops. It is her own money and own business, but, if the consistent shopping means not being able to afford to go out, it is highly irritating. There’s also a good chance she’ll wind up borrowing money from the rest of the group.

6. Hotel room
When you are on a budget, but still want to stay in the best hotel there, it may be a situation where 13 are in one room. This causes chaos. With the hangovers, fights from the night before and sun stroke – because “why would you need sun cream?” – it is a recipe for disaster.

7. Someone staying in and making someone stay with them
There is always that one friend who is too hungover to go out or just not bothered. They have a way of making people feel bad for them and it usually ends with one person staying in with them. This is not okay and is, quite frankly, a major buzz kill.

8. The smiling dog
This is the person that either doesn’t get to travel that much, has never been to your destination before or is just a super positive person and every single thing will excite them. The smiling dog can be very annoying and too positive at times and this can be very irritating when you’re nursing your hangover.

9. The Picky Eater
Nothing will please them and they will turn their nose up at fish and anything that isn’t fried. This can be embarrassing at times. Make sure your picky eaters looks the menu up in advance to avoid disappointment.

10. The Foodie
#paleo #glutenfree #cleaneating – if you have one of these in your group, beware. They will make sure to point out how much sugar or salt is in every meal you eat and their condescending glare will make you want to punch them in the face.

11. Language barriers
If no one in the group speaks the language of your holiday destination, it can get annoying. Make sure at least one member of your group has a dictionary of some sort because once the taxi man thinks you don’t have a clue, those prices will sky rocket.

12. The sleazy waiter
There will always be at least 5 sleazy waiters on your travels and one of your friends will score them all. Maybe it is a fetish of theirs? Who knows? But, it will be awkward for everyone present.

13. The new boyfriend
There will be one in the group that has a holiday romance. Good for them, but when you have a one-roomed apartment and now have a new foreign addition coming around every day, it will get weird.
