Lauren Conrad shocked many of her fans this afternoon when she posted on her web page a snap of her new purple do.

The former Hill’s star is renowned for her blonde locks but it seems the reality star has gone for the pastel trend and dyed her hair, lavender.

Lauren went on to write on her site about her dramatic hair dye: “I really didn’t think that purple was my colour, but after seeing several others wear it recently, I decided to give it a try.”

Many have taken to Twitter though to say being the day that it is, the Hill’s star could be playing an April’s fool’s joke on us all.

We hope it’s not a joke because we think the pastel look really suits Lauren.

While we all know Nicki Minaj for her risqué songs and videos; the rapper has proved recently that she has a soft side too.

The Starships singer helped fulfil the dreams of one little Minaj fan, Miyah.

Miyah was diagnosed with Stage 3B Burkitt’s lymphoma last year but has always dreamed of meeting her idol, Nicki.

Nicki made Miyah’s dreams come true by visiting the five-year-old on Sunday and even gave Miyah a little pink wig, as well.

The signer went onto share snaps of her visit on Instagram and even gave the delighted fan some great advice.

“I’m so happy that you got your pink wig. I think you’re beautiful without the pink wig, okay? But, whenever you want to play dress up and feel like a little Barbie Doll, that’s fine. But, remember you promised me that you were gonna stay in school.”

Good news for Chris Evans fans out there, as the actor and director has revealed that he doesn’t plan on retiring.

The Captain America star was questioned this morning on whether he was really going to stop acting for good. The star went on to relieve many worried fans of the Marvel hit, that he had no plans on leaving his acting career behind.

The rumours began when Chris said that he wanted to focus more on his directing career and take on less acting jobs.

“If I’m acting at all, it’s going to be under Marvel contract, or I’m going to be directing.”

But Evans has said that the retirement rumours are ridiculous and that he isn’t going anywhere.

“Suddenly I’m retiring, hanging up the shoes, I guess! By no means am I planning on retiring. It’s kind of a silly statement.”

E! Fashion Police presenter, Kelly Osbourne has reportedly checked herself into “food rehab” after gaining 1 stone and 5lbs after her spilt from her fiancé Mattew Mosshart, four months ago.

The 29-year-old is calling her time in “food rehab” a “food cleanse” and also plans to sign up to yoga and Pilates classes during her stay.

The presenter said that she was able to maintain her slim figure in the past as a result of her ex-fiancé, who is a vegan chef and used to cook all of Kelly’s meals.

Kelly’s “food cleanse” isn’t the only change that the star is aiming for, as the star is planning to remove some of her famous tattoos as well.

“I’ve got a piano on my arm and I don’t even know how to play. In all honesty, I’m getting rid of the ones I got just to p*** off my parents.”

Miley’s latest Instagram stunt proves that the We Can’t Stop singer is always up for a laugh.

The 21-year-old singer shared a video of her and Avril Lavigne pretending to have a cat-fight about who the most famous person in Canada is.

Cyrus, while sitting backstage in her dressing room after performing show in Toronto is confronted by Lavigne, who says: “Oh, hey, Miley, I’m actually, like, the most famous person in Canada.”

Miley then points out to Avril that she may not be from Canada but she is probably the most famous person there.

The clip ends with two tackling each other jokingly.

The trailer for actress Brittany Murphy’s final movie, Something Wicked, has been released and it looks spooky!

The actress, who passed away in 2009, plays the character of Susan and it would appear from the trailer that her role is a complex one.

While the filming of the movie was wrapped in June 2009, the movie is only set to be released on 4 April 2014.

The trailer for the latest  summer flick Sex Tape was released today and shows that both Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel have no problem when it comes to stripping off their clothes on screen.

Sex Tape reveals what can go wrong when a X-rated home video is accidentally blasted across the internet.

This isn’t the first time Cameron and Jason have worked together as the duo also starred in another comedy, Bad Teacher  in 2011.

The Voice judge has revealed that it took her a long time to get over her relationship with Spanish model, Andres Velencosco.

Kylie and Andres broke-up last October after a five year relationship and says she is still coming to turns with her heartbreak.

“It’s not that long ago. I’m past the crying every night stage…”

Kylie’s spilt from her boyfriend was not long after the 45-year-old singer decided to change her management team and sign up for the UK version of the talent show, The Voice.

“I had a true epiphany. I have only had this one and I remember it as if it were slow motion. I guess there were thoughts and moments building up to this but I had a vision and the vision was a horizon with nothing on it.”

Kylie also went onto talk that the break-up was not easy and there was a lot to process legally.

“….but you know there’s still heartbreak and emotional sadness and all of the things that come with bad break-ups, even if you’re not married. It does hurt, but I guess you have resilience because it’s not the first time you’ve been down that road.”

But The Voice judge revealed that she is still on good terms with Andres but her new album is keeping her distracted from the heartache.

“He’s a great guy and that’s important… I’m enjoying that I’m so distracted. I’m not sitting at home pining.”

It’s been reported that EastEnders actor, Ricky Norwood has been suspended  for two months after footage was released of the actor smoking cannabis.

The decision was announced today by the soap’s bosses after a meeting with Ricky this afternoon.

A statement was released by EastEnders: Ricky Norwood has been suspended from the show for a period of two months with immediate effect. In addition, Ricky would like to apologise to EastEnders’ viewers for any offence caused and for bringing the show into disrepute.”

Footage shows moment of impact…ouch!

Summer is almost here, we can smell it in the freshly cut grass, which means sandals, flip flops and a whole host of shoes that show off our toes. Unfortunately, after spending the best part of eight months hidden away, your feet are probably not at their best right now.

  • Start by removing any polish you already have on.
  • Place your feet in the basin of water and leave to soak for about 10 minutes until soft.
  • Use the toenail clipper to clip your nails. Remember to cut straight across and not to follow the curve of the nail. You can soften any sharp bits by filing down the edges.
  • Next you will need to remove any calluses. Using a foot file, file in one direction making sure not to overdo it as you may damage the skin.
  • Once you are done, massage some foot cream in.
  • Lightly remove any excess oil from your nails by wiping them with the remover.
  • Push your toes into a toe separator and apply two coats of colour. Leave to dry before moving to prevent any smudges.
